The other reviews are so interesting. I found the overwhelming flavor note for all three varieties I tried to be sweet. It was hard to differentiate between them as the flavor notes were so subtle. While subtle could be good, I just found the ice cream really underwhelming, and the unique flavor types seemed to be in name only. While it was fine, I wouldn't go out of my way and was, frankly, disappointed.

Very good flavorful ice cream with a small but unique set of flavors (8 with 2 vegan) such as Rose Hip, Poppy seed with lemon, Lavender earl grey etc. Decent prices ($5 for first+$3 per extra scoop), decent portions and they allow sampling. They have some seating outside the store. Definitely recommend. The store is only open on Saturday and Sunday and around summer, so the product is definitely fresh and they make it in small batches. The flavors were real and you can easily see it in the scoops. It wasn't too sweet and the texture was reasonably smooth. My favorite flavors were the rose hip and the poppy seed. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I stumbled across the Ice Cream Window while walking around Ridgewood today. While checking out the flavors, Paola, rushed outside to offer us a sample of our choosing. We then got to the window, where Diego made us an ice cream sandwich - huge portion and delicious! Will definitely be back the next time we are in the area! Great ice cream and customer service! This is what it’s all about: a fun, smart concept that shakes up the ice-cream game while still staying laser-focused on deliciousness. Ice Cream Window is, yes, a small window with eight intriguing flavors on offer, like waldmeister (nodding to the German community in the area), pumpkin speculoos (aka Lotus cookies), and cookies and coffee. I went with the first two flavors on my recent visit and was thrilled by the intensity of flavor, the ample size of the serving, and the kindness of the staffer. Long may the window remain open.

We took a walk on a Sunday afternoon, randomly passed by Ice Cream Window and were appealed by the crowd in front of their service window. It’s definitely a hidden gem and it’s only open every weekend from noon to 8pm. They serve Ice Cream Window Special and also gourmet ice cream from LadyMooMoo, which is also one of my favorites. The flavors vary daily and they would be posted on their Instagram account. We got their special HRÍS, Black Currant and Tahitian Vanilla as our first try. It’s was amazingly satisfying and delicious. I love the creamy HRÍS with crunchy chocolate Candy puff and my husband loves their refreshing black currant. The price is reasonable with great portion, $4 a scoop and $2 for the 2nd. However, just a friendly reminder that they only take cash or Venmo.

Great ice cream with really unique flavors. Pricing is also pretty decent. The only hang up is the extremely long lines. While the wait time is annoying and would have made this rating 3-4 stars, I have noticed the lovely Spanish lady on Saturday is pretty quick and does her best to serve everyone in a timely manner. Even with it being as busy as it is she always pleasant and wears a smile.

This place was so cute and felt like a local ice cream stand in Ridgewood, NYC. I forgot the exact name of the ice cream that I got, but it was pistachio flavored and my sister had the sorbet. The ice cream was fresh and delicious and they have such unique flavors. They were also really generous with portion sizes and I hope to see them expand to either a new location or a bigger establishment one day!

Was in the neighborhood for lunch and saw that this place had amazing (if minimal) reviews and would love to add to them. The space itself operates outside an office that has nothing to do with ice cream, but the guy scooping seems like he does this 8 days per week. Their options are fairly limited but to flavors I truly have never tried before. Also, he is not shy about having you try every option before you decide what to get. The prices are so so reasonable for 1-2 scoops of ice cream. Lucuma was my favorite and it was such a delicious choice on top of the waldmeister. It melted super quickly but was a necessity on as hot a day as it was.

I wish this was open year round. It's such a cute little idea and they change up their menu every weekend It's unfortunate that they only open up on the weekends and in specific seasons (spring and summer) as I'm someone who enjoys ice cream in the winter too. The worker is always friendly. There's always interesting ice cream flavors.

What a perfect little delight this is during the warm months, when you walk by an unassuming storefront and discover surprising and special ice creams served sidewalk-side, and honoring the local communities of the neighborhood. Ridgewood has a lot of diversity, and I was pleased to find some unusual German and Polish flavor offerings on the menu. I love the mak (a Polish poppyseed flavor, which is a lot more interesting and delicious than it might initially sound), and Styrian (a German regional pumpkin oil specialty which is turned into a creamy delight and swirled into a vanilla base with pine nuts). The ice cream is creamy, dreamy, and utterly wonderful, and I can't wait until the window opens back up next summer! Check their Instagram for updates--that's how I learned about them in the first place; they also sell pints to go.

Make sure to bring cash or set up your Venmo account when you visit the Ice Cream Window. $5 a scoop in either a cup or a cone, $3 for each additional scoop of this delicious ice cream made in Brooklyn but sold at this Ridgewood, Queens window. Very popular with the locals during the summer. A range of interesting flavors which change frequently. The most up-to-date flavors can be found on their Instagram page. There is very limited seating outside (a bench and a few chairs) and no inside seating. If there are no seats available outside the shop, there is a park nearby if you wanted to sit and eat your ice cream.

Great little spot for a quick treat. Great flavors that change regularly. Staff is friendly and there's often a line. Cash or Venmo accepted.
