"Ice House is an indoor/outdoor beer garden where golf attire, and even more casual vibes, are welcome. It’s got an in-house pitmaster smoking barbecue and burgers to go with the brews." - Courtney E. Smith

Came with friends for brunch. Lots of seating, great atmosphere, fast service and a nice vibe around it. There is a large patio area, absolutely love the patio outside. Nice selection of drinks with pleasant service. We shared the tin can nachos, smoked chicken with mac and cheese, potato salad and fried okra. Everything was good and delicious specially okra, smoked chicken was also well seasoned and cooked. Great place to go with friends to eat and hang out, Nice patio atmosphere. I’ll go back!

Great atmosphere. It was windy but the weather was great to be outside. They have indoor seating too. On the side they have golf game like Top Golf and also serve food and drinks. We ordered the meal for 4 and it was plenty of food. There are also kids menu. The best was their brisket. The corn bread and pickle cucumbers were awesome. The slaw was just ok for my taste. Overall great place for food after a game or just hanging out with friends.

Came in after waiting an hour to get a run around from the Lounge and was seated almost instantly. Our hostess Jess was super sweet and even checked on us later to make sure we were getting good service and no issues. Our server Beck was on top of her game! She was fast, great personality, and was attentive to our needs. Great job!

First time here. Doubt we'll go back. We reserved a bay. They dropped us off with no instructions on how to use the golf program. Had to ask twice for help. Staff is very friendly, but servers are poorly trained. Had to track down our server 3 times for drinks. Even when we were the only people left in the building. Food tasted good, but poorly prepped in it's dish. Last, their outdoor heaters are pointless. They are at to high, with no heat shield to at least direct the heat down to help warm the area. 1 and out

We went to the PGA District for the first time and found it really cool. There is a nice row of shops, Top Golf bar, Golf Club grill & bar and the Omni - all surrounding a giant open play putting green. Super family friendly or just a cool date spot. We stopped at the Ice House which was very cool with indoor/outdoor seating, golf bays, live music and great atmosphere. We watch some of the short course golfers play along and enjoyed the cool evening. It's a great spot to hang, just expect the prices to be very expensive.

Had a great night at the Ice House and the District! Watched a movie on the big screen, played cornhole, and had great food/drinks from the Ice House! The Swing golf course looks epic and we will definitely be back for that! And The Dance Floor putting green looked like a great time. Good terrain and so many holes. Great time!

Nestled within the PGA headquarters area in Frisco, Ice House is a unique and inviting establishment that draws inspiration from the airy barns of Texas. Its rustic ranch-style ambiance immediately catches the eye and sets the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. While Ice House offers beer, wine, and cocktails, along with typical pub fare, it falls slightly short in terms of culinary execution. Nevertheless, its six live hitting golf bays and fair pricing help compensate for these shortcomings, making it a decent choice for a casual outing. One of the highlights of Ice House is undoubtedly its ambiance. The venue captures the essence of Texas ranches with its open, airy design, and the barn-inspired decor creates a charming and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident throughout the space, and it offers a pleasant escape from the city bustle. Whether you're a golf enthusiast or simply appreciate the rustic charm, Ice House provides a cozy and welcoming environment. In terms of the menu, Ice House offers a range of pub food options to complement your drinks. However, the overall quality of the food is average at best. While the menu covers the basics and includes all the usual suspects, such as burgers, wings, and fries, the execution and flavor profiles often leave something to be desired. The dishes lack the finesse and creativity that would elevate them beyond typical pub fare. If you're seeking a culinary adventure, you might find yourself somewhat disappointed with the offerings at Ice House. Fortunately, Ice House partially redeems itself with its golf bays. The six live hitting bays provide a fantastic opportunity to practice your swing or engage in friendly competitions with friends and fellow patrons. This addition adds a unique element to the venue, appealing to both golf enthusiasts and those looking for some interactive entertainment during their visit. The inclusion of the golf bays helps differentiate Ice House from other ordinary pubs and makes it a more engaging and memorable experience overall. Price-wise, Ice House aligns well with the overall ambience it offers. Consider the area, the menu items are fairly priced, and the cost of utilizing the golf bays is fair. Considering the rustic charm and the additional entertainment value, Ice House strikes a reasonable balance between cost and experience. In conclusion, Ice House in Frisco stands out as a charming ranch-style venue, evoking the spirit of Texas barns with its cozy and inviting atmosphere. While the food may not exceed expectations, the addition of the live hitting golf bays adds a unique element of entertainment that sets it apart. With reasonable pricing, Ice House offers an enjoyable experience that is worth considering, particularly for those seeking a relaxed and rustic environment.
