Bakery, and coffee shop is a wonderful new spot in the heart of Deering Center to meet a friend for a great coffee (options are excellent) and delicious confectionary in a friendly atmosphere. Everything from cookies, to donuts, to scones to cupcakes...bars.... they all taste yummy and in my opinion, the Strawberry Rhubarb pie is crave-worthy outstanding! ☕️🍪🥧🍰🎂🍩🥛

So far I have only tried the chocolate cupcakes with vanilla frosting, and the GF lemon with cream cheese frosting. I have to say it was 'meh.' The cake was dry and the frosting was very grainy. The cream cheese frosting was good, but the lemon cake was also very very dry. It's not a good sign when you crumble the cake and it crumbles like sand (that's a good texture for shortbread cookies though!) The cake had a texture of three day old cake, that has been left out to air. Very disappointed as we won a dozen cupcakes from a silent auction. The customer service however was great, and the ladies who work at the Portland store certainly make it a nice atmosphere and very welcoming. I just hope they refine their cake recipes.

Ice it is our go to bakery in Portland! From the cookies to they cakes everything is delicious and beautiful. The people who work there are courteous and helpful. They have two locations which makes it easy to get to no matter what part of town you are in.☘️🎂🥐🍰🥧🍪
