The 38 Best Restaurants in Taipei | Eater

"Ice Monster is a champion for shaved snow — frozen flavored milk shaved into creamy ribbons and accessorized with toppings. The “mango avalanche,” which comes topped with cubed mangoes and mango sorbet, is the best seller. Over the years Ice Monster has become a Taipei institution, so prepare for extremely long lines. Avoid on the weekends. [$]" - Clarissa Wei

Randomly found this location. Stopped in for some dessert. Very clean and the staff is very nice. I enjoyed every bite of my blueberry vanilla crepe. The chocolate strawberry crepe received a two thumbs up! The drinks are delicious :) We’ll be back to try everything else on the menu. Thank you for existing.

I was craving something between ice cream, boba, and shaved snow and this place hit the spot. They even have absolutely adorable fruit flavor ice teddy bears to top your dessert. This probably made me more excited then it should have but all of the different flavors and colors were so fun and they were soft as well so it wasn’t like biting into a chunk of straight hard ice. We all loved our drinks I ordered a regular sized honeydew shaved ice with condensed milk, strawberry fruit and a pretty vibrant pink dragon fruit ice teddy bear. One of my friends ordered a strawberry milk with oatmeal and strawberry popping bubbles. My other friend ordered a tiger milk tea with boba and strawberry popping bubbles.

Google
First time here, homey ambience. A delicious and affordable treat for the warm weather. My daughter loved it. For the shaved ice, we ordered at the kiosk and since we were new we didnt know what to expect. It didnt come out as expected, but only because we dont know how to do it. It still tasted good. I love the mango star toppings. Next time, i know what to do to tweak my order. It was a lovely experience.

Google
My daughter wanted to try the desserts after dinner. What we ordered was good but not good enough for me to rate above 3 stars. Maybe great for locals to enjoy, but I wouldn't travel out of my way since there are many similar restaurants in my area.

Google
I had the vanilla blueberry waffle with an iced matcha latte. Both were insanely good! Decent outdoor seating which was nice on a beautiful day like today. My only complaint was that the employees would walk to the back kitchen, customers would line up and no one was regularly checking the front, allowing an unnecessary line to form. I have always been taught that no one should enter a store and not be greeted right away. I feel like this is an issue everywhere, not just here. And some employees didn't look to thrilled to be there. That wont stop me from stopping by though. It has delicious treats and it's really close to my work!

Google
I got the mango snow with litchi and condensed milk and it was delicious! Looks like it's a mom and pop shop. They work fast and the space is very clean and nice.

Google
The mango bingsu is a great dessert if you don't want to eat something heavy. I added boba and mochi balls to mine. Since it's mostly flavored water, I had no problem eating the whole bowl by myself. The popcorn chicken was also good to eat with.

Google
Best boba shop ever. Such good boba and it's so nice and comfortable inside, I love this boba shop and will forever be my #1 favorite place to go to. Plus there waffles are elite!

Yelp
After having lunch at Tanoshi's , we wandered across the plaza to Ice Monster. This was my first time here so exploring the the menu and pics on the window we decided to check it out. This a smoothie , shave ice, boba , bread toast establishments. Lots of pics of customers in the wall with their creations . I ordered the mango shave ice with mango syrup and mochi balls . The shaved ice melted in my mouth the moment they came in contact . Delish and so refreshing ! I ordered the "kid" size which was plenty for 2.... They also have a regular and large size as well. Good way to end my lunch with a refreshing dessert. Easy to fine , clean , greeted when entering . Nice local spot .

Yelp
Exactly what I needed to satisfy a chocolate craving! This place is a true local business and I love supporting them. They have an array of drinks and food to choose from and they're located in a fairly large plaza. Easy breezy parking. Service was quick! I ordered through the kiosk as soon as I walked in. There's some seating so it's a great place to hang out with friends and family. My order: Regular chocolate slush with boba. It's the perfect amount of me. I think the boba could be a bit more chewy (my preference) but overall pretty solid. 8/10

Yelp
We got some cold treats here today and they were really good. My husband got their Honeydew Shaved Snow with lychee jelly. It was super soft like shaved ice and super flavorful. The texture was really nice and the jelly gave it a bit of a crunch. I got the Orange Cream Slush with whipped cream. It tasted like an orange Julius but even better. It's a small spot but they have nice tables and also higher tables and stools. It was pretty busy for a work day. We will definitely be returning this summer for more cold treats.

Yelp
My nephew liked his oreo smoothie, he's 10, lol, but my taro milk tea taste nothing like taro, it just taste like the milk left over when you finish a bowl of cereal. I ordered a Thai tea instead, it was worst than the first one. I see a lot of pics of teenagers on the wall, so this is probably a cool little hang out spot for them, just not the quality of boba or smoothies that I'm used to.

Yelp
When we arrived, there were 4 customers enjoying drinks outside but the interior was empty. Shortly after we ordered, the restaurant was packed, so we got very lucky with timing. There were 2 staff working who were friendly and worked quickly. The interior was clean, and so was the bathroom. They were sold out of mango, coffee, and watermelon, so I ordered the honeydew shaved snow with lychee and mango jelly. It was scrumptious and there was plenty to share among the 3 of us. The shaved snow is creamier than shaved ice, which I really appreciated on a sunny, 84-degree day. My husband ordered the Pina colada drink and my son ordered the Blue Raspberry Italian soda. Those drinks were ok, but I would not order them again. Mine was the favorite. I want to come back to different flavors of the shaved snow, and I want to get a dirty milk tea next time.

Yelp
Ice Monster is one of my favorite boba spots. The man who works there is always so kind and friendly, and the service is consistently fast. I always get the hibiscus green tea, and it's easily one of the best I've ever had. The tea is delicious & the boba is perfectly chewy. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
I ordered green tea shaved snow with grass jelly and mochi...and I ordered it in Monster size. The cashier gave me a funny luck. "Are you sure? That's enough for two people." I smiled at the cashier and looked her dead in the eye. "Yes I'm sure." I'm so happy I got Monster size and devoured the whole bowl. When they brought out the bowl, they brought spoons thinking we were going to share. No, it was all mine! I ate it all in one sitting and enjoyed it so much! Even the two other people I was with looked at their small shaved ice and thought "Maybe we should have gotten our own monster size instead."

Yelp
I had high hopes for this place since I really like Ice Monster in Hawaii. This is the only place close by that sells crepes. However, the crepes were mediocre. Crepes was stale and tough to cut through. I would say the quality isnt there if you plan on ordering sweet crepes. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed since I was looking forward to some crepes right after having dinner. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth, not sure if I would come back...

Yelp
there's so many bingsu places in the bay area but very few taiwanese shaved ice/avalanche layer snow. we were very excited to see ice monster. prices are kind of high for snow (regular was $10.50). you get 2 free toppings (condensed milk counts as one). we got the mango snow with condensed milk and lychee jelly, added fresh mango $1.50. the portion is decent, good for 2 people. the snow was flavorful and sweet (tasted a bit artificial). lychee jelly was standard. the fresh mango was diced and very unripe (sour) which was disappointing. the shaved ice was also a bit clumpy/dense in the middle. order on a kiosk with no customer service too.

Yelp
Came here for a post-hike dessert as we were in the area. They offer a good selection of desserts, from shaved snow to brick toast to waffles to boba. There's something for everyone here! My friend and I ordered the regular sized mango shaved snow for $9.55. You can choose two toppings for free, so we got red beans and condensed milk. We were planning to dine in, but for some reason our shaved snow came in a to go container. We saw other groups get their shaved snow in regular plates/bowls after us, so I'm not sure how the staff decided we were doing takeout. The shaved snow was really good and was exactly what I was looking for after hiking on a hot day. I was craving red beans, but in retrospect that might not have been the best topping to get with mango flavor as both flavors are pretty strong and clashed a bit. Oh well.
google avatar

Jay R.

Yelp
Not the best place fora drink, but their Oreo shake is great! Their specialty is cold desserts, so I would recommend coming here on hot days. I remember getting a shaved ice once and I was surprised at how much came in one order. Service is good. People were attentive and got my order out pretty quickly. The space is very casual.

Yelp
We recently had the opportunity to try ICE MONSTER, and our experience left us somewhat disappointed. While it's possible that their offerings shine in the realm of smoothies, our venture into the Milk Tea domain left us wanting. Regrettably, there was a conspicuous absence of tea in our Milk Tea orders. An aspect that warrants attention is the choice between real milk and powdered milk when customizing your beverage. ICE MONSTER presents the option to upgrade your drink with real milk, and this choice holds paramount importance. Opting for real milk enhances not only the flavor but also the overall quality of your drink. In contrast, opting for powdered milk may compromise both taste and nutritional value. In recent times, numerous tea establishments have phased out powdered milk due to its less-than-optimal health implications and the unanimous preference for genuine milk among discerning patrons. It's worth noting that once we modified our drinks to include real milk, the cost per beverage escalated significantly. Our total bill exceeded $7 per drink, and when factoring in tips, it surpassed $8. While the upgrade to real milk undoubtedly improved the taste, it came at a noticeable cost. On a positive note, the service at ICE MONSTER was commendable. The staff member attending to us was exceptionally courteous and adept at explaining the various drink options available. This level of service certainly added a touch of warmth to an otherwise lukewarm experience. In conclusion, ICE MONSTER offers a mixed bag of experiences. While the importance of opting for real milk cannot be overstated, it does come at an additional cost. The absence of tea in our Milk Tea orders was a notable drawback, but the exceptional service provided by the staff helps redeem the overall impression. If you're willing to invest in upgrading your beverage with real milk, you may find ICE MONSTER's offerings more satisfying but maybe ask them to add/brew more tea leaves to their teapots too.

Yelp
Walt from Walt's Adventures reporting in from Concord's Ice Monster. The shop has been serving for many years. The misconception is that it is merely an eatery serving shaved ice as if from a carnival. Dare to enter Ice Monster and you will see that it is far more. This establishment serves shaved ice, ice cream, teas and far more. The watermelon ice was filled with flavor and was a cool masterpiece. The food is the focus of the eatery, which was satisfying to discover, but the ambiance is not it's equal. The chairs were a bit used, tape on the walls and unfinished floors by the windows. If you are in need of a different cool and satisfying desert in a place to "hang out", I would seek out Ice Monster

Yelp
Love the popcorn chicken the most! I also like the panda leaf coconut beverage. Kids love the shaved ice the most( mango & strawberry flavors with mini mochi topping) With friends, the banana bread house is decent choice, too:) I prefer have black or green tea with the dessert.

Yelp
went to this place once about a year and a half ago and recently decided to give it another shot, but am still a little disappointed. P A R K I N G plenty of parking, located inside a plaza -- 5/5 S E R V I C E they have both self order kiosks and cashiers -- 4/5 F O O D got the honeydew shaved ice and it did not look like some of the pictures on yelp that had the nice layers and such... not to mention the flavor was astronomically artificial i was so disappointed. maybe their other flavors are better, but not sure if i want to attempt again -- 3/5 O V E R A L L maybe their other flavors are acceptable but i do not recommend honeydew !

Yelp
Went here for dessert after dinner on a Saturday evening, and there was no line to place our order and seating available. I saw their ice cream bread houses on Yelp and really wanted to try one! We got the fruity deluxe bread house, that came with scoops of vanilla and strawberry ice cream and fresh berries. It was filled with toasted sweet bread sticks on the inside, and the whole thing was delicious. It's perfect for two people to share, and might be a lot for one person. Service was good, they brought food to our table and gave us utensils and napkins. It's nothing fancy ambiance-wise, and could benefit from updating the seating and decor. This place attracts a young crowd. Plenty of parking in the lot right out front. I want to come back and try more desserts!

Yelp
I have tried Ice Monster twice and both of those experiences were very different. The first time I came with a friend and both of us got boba. I had the tiger milk tea and she had the lemon iced tea. As other reviewers mentioned, the drinks are watered down (mine for sure, I don't remember if my friend felt this way). The other issue for me with the drinks was TOO MUCH ICE! My boba baes Mr. Green Bubble and Sharetea allow one to customize the amount of ice so I always get no or minimal ice. Maybe no ice is a possibility at Ice Monster but I wasn't given the option. I hate the idea of avoiding boba at a boba place but I don't want my hard earned $$ to go to a watered down drink with too much ice. Despite my not loving their boba, I wasn't ready to judge IM until I tried their desserts. As someone with a big sweet tooth, I've been wanting to try their desserts for a while. I was excited when a coworker asked for our IM orders to give to a rep who was in the area! I got the Oreo egg puff waffle with vanilla ice cream, which was amazing. Even though we didn't have our treats in store, the ice cream didn't melt too much and the waffle still maintained it's freshness. I had an egg puff waffle at T4 a few years ago via DoorDash, which was soggy. No comparison, IM wins hands down for their egg puff waffles. I want to try their regular waffles, crepes, brick toast, and brick houses. One of my coworkers got the brick toast with Nutella, which she liked. As a Nutella lover, that's definitely on my list of items to try. The egg puff waffle more than made up for the watered down boba. I'll be back to try the above items!

Yelp
The drink tasted quite artificial. Definitely one of the lower quality places imo. Only tried one drink so maybe others are better.

Yelp
We stopped by here to get a charge for our car, so we thought we would grab a drink for the road. I got a pineapple green tea, and my boyfriend got a avocado smoothie. The pineapple tea was disappointing, there was no tea flavor and it tasted like water infused with artificial pineapple. I basically paid $6 for a cup of water with drops of pineapple juice. The avocado smoothie had slightly more flavor, but it was just basic. Avocado and heavy creamed whipped together. The non existence service. It was dead, there were people behind the counter, neither of which greeted us when we came in, they actually disappeared into the back. There was a tablet that is used to order, when the drinks were done, they sat the drink on the table in the pick up area... didn't say anything. Just looked at us, looked at the drink and went back behind the counter. If drinks are basic but the service was better, you may actually retain customers. Especially being in Walnut Creek, I expected the service to be better. The location is already in a dead area.

Yelp
try their taro milk tea with boba! it's a classic hit on their menu & will be great for those with a sweet tooth

Yelp
Refreshing and flavorful! Lots of options to choose from on the menu. My fav is the rose lychee. Quick and easy service and delivery! I highly recommend.

Yelp
Ice Monster is located in the Citrus Center. It is a quieter plaza, but they may get pretty busy on weeknights and weekends. They open pretty late for a boba shop in the area. The drinks usually take awhile, especially when it is busy. I ordered the green milk tea with boba. It had more creaminess/milk taste with only a subtle tea taste to it. I think the drinks could be a bit stronger in tea taste just by a tad. The boba was a bit too chewy and soft.

Yelp
This place holds a special place in my heart; I've been going here since high school after every choir concert, football game, school play, even dates. With the guaranteed parking, big menu, and friendly staff, I've only had good experiences and memories here. I know this isn't a typical review, and the boba isn't the best of the best, but this local Asian owned business could always use more support ! It's a solid 8/10
google avatar

Val M.

Yelp
Super tasty treats here! Love the options, there's something for everyone and every sweet craving. Loved the cookies n cream egg puff too but didn't get a pic.

Yelp
Wow yummy! Been wanting to come here but never had the chance until tonight! Lots of indoor seating as well as two outdoor tables to enjoy your treats! Quick service, nice staff, and welcoming interior. Food: 1. Green tea shaved snow {5/5 stars, $4.75 (kids size)} - large portion with lots to share even with the kids size. Delicious and velvety texture with green tea taste throughout the dessert. Not overly sweet, which is perfect. 2. Carmel milk tea {5/5 stars, $4.15 regular size} - perfect taste, not too sweet. Rich Carmel taste accompanying the tea. Overall, a solid family owned dessert place with many items to choose from. Will be making this a go to for desserts now!

Yelp
Came with hubby for a spontaneous date night treat and stumbled upon this hidden gem! we bought the regular size Mango Shaved Snow with mango bubbles, mochi, and condensed milk and taro milk tea with boba. Couldn't be happier with what we ordered and was soo impressed that everything was the perfect sweetness (AKA not too sweet) without adjusting it. Fluff ice was soo smooth, flavorful, & yummy then I told him we needed to also order a plain bubble waffle and passion fruit iced tea for the ride homeNeedless to say, come check it out! I don't think you'll be disappointed

Yelp
For a nice treat, I recommend dropping by ice monster. In addition to its amazing shaved ice dessert, they've got some phenomenal breakfast /lunch treats from mozzarella sticks to waffles. My daughter got the strawberry waffle...and, I was kind of jealous, to be honest. Shop workers were nice and kindly brought food table side. The menu items are works of art. Definitely drop by!

Hey_Im_Butterfly

Yelp
This place is so delicious! I had the taro shaved snow and my friend had the chocolate strawberry crepe. The service was very good and the food came out fast! 10/10 recommend for sure. Ice monster is a great place to bring friends and family with its nice music and good vibes.

Yelp
Updated review: from yesterday 9/14 We went in and got the ice cream slushy- I think that's what it's called. I got the orange one and it was delicious! It tasted like orange Julius! My partner got the tarp slush. She said hers didn't have much flavor - it just wasn't so sweet I thought but it was okay. I really liked mine. Next time we will give the other stuff a second try.

Yelp
After our delicious dinner, my boyfriend and I were on a quest to find some boba within the Walnut Creek area. It was already after 9:30 p.m. on a Friday night so the selection was slim. I checked Yelp and saw that this spot was open until 11:00 p.m., which seemed surprisingly late for this area, but I wasn't complaining! It was about an 8-10 minute drive from downtown Walnut Creek. When we arrived, there were some teenagers and young adults coming in and out so it seemed like this place had a fair reputation around the area. There is no seating inside, but there is a picnic table out front you can chill on. At the front desk, there was hand sanitizer available to use and to purchase. If you ever struggle with deciding on which drink to order, there's a "Top Sellers" list right when you walk in. The service was friendly and they wore masks. The establishment looked fairly clean and all the seating area was blocked off. We ordered a large passionfruit green tea and a large milk green tea to go with no toppings. This place didn't ask us about what sugar/ice ratio we would like, but that was okay. The pricing is pretty reasonable; it doesn't completely break the bank if you skip the toppings. Our order was ready in 5 minutes. I really liked the design of the cups and how sturdy they were. The flavor of the passionfruit green tea was tasty; the green tea was pretty strong compared to what I would get at iTea, which was a little too much for me. Overall, I savored my drink throughout the night. If I'm ever out this way, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. For my reward collectors out there, they have Fivestars here so be sure to give them your phone number to add up those points!

Yelp
Came here for the first time after seeing it across my Yelp results for so long and this place....did not disappoint. First off, bless them for staying open late. A lot of boba places now close anywhere from 7-9 PM so the fact they're open till 10 PM makes me really happy, especially when I was craving fried tofu. So that's what I got. Heads up the drinks/dessert menu is outside but the snacks/savory food menu is inside so don't get confused about the situation. Granted I got here around 9 PM when I did, but for whatever reason, food seemed to take a bit. Ended up waiting 30+ minutes for deep fried tofu and basil popcorn chicken. Fair warning there. But to outweigh the time it took, the food was actually pretty good. I like that the basil popcorn chicken wasn't overly salty while still tender and flavorful. Thank god it wasn't dry. The deep fried tofu was freshly made too which was nice when hot. The only suggestion I have about the tofu is there's not much seasoning to it. There are spices sprinkled on the outside after it's fried but I feel like perhaps the tofu can be seasoned before frying? The outside spices are good for sure, but I think the inside taste can be improved somehow. Overall definitely coming back here given the late hours. :)

Yelp
On a hot day, this is the place to visit. Love the shaved ice dishes and the smoothies. You can't go wrong with any of their flavors. All were very good.

Asma M.

Yelp
Such a hidden spot! If they were closer to be they would be my new go to boba spot. They have a large selection of drinks and snacks. I tried the strawberry chocolate waffle and it was so yummy with the perfect amount of chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries. I only wish the waffle was warmer. They also have a drink deal for students which is so nice of them!

Yelp
My son ordered mango smoothie with boba yesterday and got food poisoning, he vomited 3 times from 7pm last nite :( my poor baby
google avatar

Yelp
They've since added a machine you can order from which I love since I visually like picking what I want to make sure I like the combo of toppings. The original milk shaved snow is sooo good! Reminiscent of Hot Kid milk if you're familiar. Another quiet, pleasant visit for a sweet, cool treat on a sunny morning.

Yelp
Went for an adventure with my daughters and after lunch, we decided to stop somewhere for dessert so I was looking at Yelp. Well, the photo of the drinks and the name caught my daughters' attention. So, off we went.... However, when we got there and looked at the menu, it wasn't anything special and just another Quickly's where they sold popcorn chicken, ice cream, boba, slushies, crepes and Italian soda. So, my girls opted for some ice cream and I had the Strawberry and chocolate crepe. Ice cream was alright, standard chocolate ice cream and my crepe was eh. I wasn't a fan as it was dry and thick which wasn't what I expected as it appears as if the crepe was pre made from a package that they bought at Costco, spread a very thin layer of chocolate sauce, put some sliced strawberries and folded it right up. Definitely not impressed. I guess I was expecting them to actually make the crepe from scratch. Anyways, nothing special as we were fooled by the cool little pictures that were eye catching. Won't be back.

Yelp
During our frantic search for basic grocery essentials (meat, eggs, and produce) due to the Coronavirus and now having to shelter-in-place, we wanted to stop by one of our favorite boba shops before heading home. Ice Monster, located in the Citrus Marketplace, was the perfect treat during this trying time. We wanted to surprise our kids with a sweet treat since they've been home doing homework online. It's only been a day since they've been home and they're already bored! Ice Monster was totally empty. It's times like these where we need to support local businesses. The manager was happy to serve us. And our bubble tea and shaved snow was delicious as always. The manager said they will remain open but will only be preparing orders for carry out. No dining in until the order is lifted.
google avatar

Vanessa T.

Yelp
After dinner, we came here for some dessert. After looking at their most popular list, we decided to get the original brick toast and strawberry crepe to share. Each dessert was around $6-$7. The brick toast came with some ice cream and whipped cream. The crepe also came with ice cream and some fresh strawberries. My favorite would have to be the brick toast. The outside crust was lightly toasted and crunchy while the inside was super soft and moist. It paired well with the honey butter and ice cream. For the amount that you get, its an ok price. As for the crepe, I feel like I have had better. The crepe seemed too crunchy for me, it might've been overcooked a bit. Overall, its a really decent dessert place with plenty of parking and great service.

Yelp
Stopped in at the Tesla charger for the fist time Seen Ice Monster thought I would go get a snow cone No Snow cones Had some flavor snow that tasted like sorbet with bobo The young ladies that work here are the nicest 10 stars to the owner for having the right people working Even had a tea The whole experience was unbelievable Will be back If your getting a charge please go on over and get yourself a treat and support a new business that really tries hard to please you.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to coming out here after a long hike at the Black Diamond Mines trails. I ended up being disappointed by everything except the basil chicken. I ordered a mango shaved ice dessert and it was so bland the only saving grace was the popping boba I added. Good thing I ordered the smallest size. I also ordered a small chocolate shaved ice for my son. The Oreos saved that. Very very bland. The pot stickers were also pretty bland. I ordered a coffee ice cream cone for my man and that was better than both the other desserts combined. I would maybe come back for drinks if I was in the area but definitely would not go out of my way like I did the other day

Yelp
I'm not a big fan of dessert places, but I decided to give this place a try on my birthday after my coworker told me she OD'd on this place. Must be good then, I thought myself. My bf and I ordered a kid-sized mango shaved snow with mochi balls, drizzled with chocolate syrup for us to share. The first topping is free and comes with your choice of syrup. Additional toppings cost 50 cents. Kid size: $4.50 Regular size: $7.75 Monster size: $11.50 This is our first time trying shaved snow. I finally understand why my coworker had a difficult time describing the texture and taste. All I can say is that it feels like eating frozen cobwebs. I told her this the next day, and she totally agrees with me. They also sell brick toast, crepes, waffles, smoothies, boba drinks, and ice cream. A little something for everyone. Despite the bad reviews about their boba drinks, I tried it anyway because I'm a boba addict. The strong tea flavor is a plus, but the milk tea isn't very good. If you ever tried Duckface in San Leandro, the drink is similar to that, especially the sweetener. Ambiance: 5/5. Plenty of seating indoors, but limited seating outside. Very peaceful sitting outside. The outdoor shopping center is kind of deserted. Customer Service: 5/5. Helpful and friendly. Desserts: 5/5 Boba drinks: 2/5. Strong tea flavor, but the sweetner is gross. *Great place for desserts but not for boba drinks!!!*

Yelp
I really enjoyed their raspberry smoothie with boba and heavy cream. Nice tart candy flavor! The only downside is, of course, the price:( $8 for a large is a little steep for a boba drink but I understand the world is pricey right now!

Yelp
Wanted to try something new tonight and this place was a pleasant and delicious surprise! I wanted to try the shaved cream so I got the strawberry and mango combo with mango jellies. I loved the consistency of it, so different and so fun to eat! I probably won't get the strawberry again because it has more of an articulation flavor than I like, but overall it was good! I got the regular size and it was huge - honestly I could have shared it with at least one more person, so brownie points for portion. My husband got the egg waffle with strawberry ice cream - waffle was warm and toasty and the strawberry ice cream had real strawberries blended in which I liked. Mochi balls to top it off. We even ended up scooping some of my shaved cream into the waffle and eating it like a taco. We will be back!

Yelp
Not THE BEST quality milk teas or dessert, but I always enjoy the customer service, the diversity of their menu, the shaved ice, and how they are one of the few dessert places open later than 8pm. I always get their egg-puff waffle and Taiwanese shaved snow. Overall, I think these two are worth their price based on quantity and quality. With whatever sized snow you order, it comes with one topping and one syrup. The kid size is enough to share among 2-3 adults! It's become a tradition for some of my friends and I to stop here after dinner now. Definitely planning on expanding and trying the rest of their menu like their brick toasts.

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying this new boba place I found on the way home, however I was very disappointed. They use artificial flavorings in their milk teas and I could not taste any tea. I originally ordered the regular black milk tea, but asked for something else because it tasted like water with no tea flavor at all. She recommended mango milk tea, which just tasted like flavored syrup. I am not a fan of these types of boba places, and hope they consider making higher quality tea bases and using better fruit ingredients for their milk teas.

Yelp
Came here for a late night drink after dinner in the area, and I wasn't disappointed! At first I was skeptical because at first glance, I noticed the menu offered A LOT. Shaved ice, crepes, milk tea, Italian sodas, etc. There seemed to be a lot of people dropping by to order drinks for pick up so I rethought my preassumption and looked through the menu. I didn't know what to get, but thankfully for Yelp, I found the raspberry matcha drink appealing and ordered it. It was SO GOOD! Honestly I thought it was going to be super sweet but it actually wasn't -- it was perfect! Not overwhelming at all but also quite refreshing. I'm going to leave it at that since I didn't really stick around to experience everything since I was in a rush and never really tried their other items. I'd come back again if I were in the area so I can explore more of what the place has to offer!

Yelp
Found this place on yelp when looking up somewhere to have a dessert date with my best friend, so glad we came here!! It was a really hot day so we knew we were getting ice cream! It was tough to decide what to get everything on the menu sounds so good! We ended up getting two Oreo explosions which they told us would take about 15 minutes to make. That was cool we were trying to hang out and catch up anyway. So we sat at a table and waited. The 15 minute wait time probably was really only 10 and we were quite surprised by the size of these they are much larger than the pictures make them seem! But they both looked DELICIOUS and looks did not deceive!!! The Oreo explosion was just a great explosion of flavors words won't do justice for me. I couldn't tell what the bread was, i was expecting it to be cake but it wasn't it was more along the lines of a sweet sourdough maybe but with the ice cream it was really good. Even the macaroons on top, were just above standard for me. They have made a repeat customer out of me!!! YUM!!! If going with another person it probably is reasonable to share one though my best friend and I definitely didn't need two separate ones but I'm not ashamed to say they were so good we put a pretty decent dent in almost eating the whole thing!

Yelp
Came here for dessert on a Friday night. The Taiwanese style soft shaved ice is great. That you can add only two things is not great. I added the red bean and condensed milk. They were kinda stingy with the serving of toppings - many bites contained neither. It was yummy enough but I wish they had preselected shaved ice that have a nice combination of toppings already included for a set price, like another Taiwanese place in Dublin. It was good though. I'll probably come back again with my kids another time to see how they like it.

Yelp
It's been a minute since the last time I tried this place so I decided to give it another visit and ordered their Shaved Snow. Not sure what we wanted, we went with the safest choice of "milk" flavor and added condensed milk as the "syrup" and mini Mochi as a topping. The flavor of the shaved ice was pretty good - refreshing and not too sweet. However, to me the texture was off. The shaved ice was stringy and felt sticky. I was expecting it to be snow-like and to melt in my mouth. I'm not sure I had this texture when I tried it a few years ago. But if we looked past the texture, the dessert was acceptable. The condensed milk was pretty subtle so it was almost unnoticeable. The mini Mochi was quite nice and didn't harden too much after getting in contact with the cold ice. Overall, it was just ok. Not sure if I'd go back for their shaved ice. Maybe I'll stick with their toast tower next time.
