Let me start by saying I love this place. I probably come here more often than I should admit. My go-to is the Tiger Soft Serve. It’s creamy, it’s sweet, it’s cold, it’s a little salty…basically, it’s perfection in a cup. Now, about that missing star. As much as the Tiger has kept me under its magical spell, my recent visit with out-of-town family broke the enchantment. They noticed what I hadn’t: this place desperately needs a deep cleaning. We’re talking “get the fairy godmother and a power washer” levels. That said, I’ll still keep coming back for my beloved Tiger Soft Serve, it’s that good. But I’ll think twice before bringing friends or family, because nothing says “welcome to my favorite spot” like them silently questioning my hygiene standards.

Absolutely incredible! I went for the first time and we had the shaved snow, strawberry matcha with boba, and bubble waffle with vanilla soft serve & strawberries. Everything is 10/10, and good for all ages. The staff were so friendly, the customer service was top tier! We'll definitely be back and we've recommend this place to all our friends!

There’s a lot of options to select from. This was my first time trying it out. I went for the Ube Snow Bubble Waffle in a cup. There’s a lot of sweets here and the waffle gives a nice contrast to the cold. Eat it right away so you can taste the warmness of the waffle. There’s no other way to eat it!

It was super tasty and fresh! They have boba drinks too as well as soft serve! They offer a variety of toppings and the employees are super helpful and friendly. Also the vibe inside is really fun and bright.

Great variety of drinks, Snows and waffles filled with ice and loads of toppings. I really enjoyed the Jasmine Thai Tea Snow with Almond Jelly and fresh strawberries. Friendly staff to help with your order. Nice open air seating to enjoy your sweet treat while visiting with family and friends.

We came here for the first time to try there shaved icecream. The girl on counter was welcoming and really helpful. Must say they have a lot of options to choose from and it's really confusing specially if you are going for the first time. We tried there famous shaved icecream in chocolate flavour and tiger soft serve. Shaved icecream was really subtle in flavor and not too sweet whereas tiger soft serve was sweet like any other icecream. All in all worth trying once.

Great toppings and great snow flavors! The bubble waffle is also delicious.

We came here for the first time and it was a good experience. There are multiple options to choose from: coffee, boba, ice cream and more.

I have never been so disappointed in a business. I got my 3 kids shaved ice cups, they put their toppings on, we went to pay and she kept saying her system wasn't accepting my card. I checked with my bank nothing was wrong with the card , she just said the system wasn't taking it. I didn't have another card I only had $13 cash she said I guess "I'll take it" with an attitude and it only covered 2 so I gave her my daughters back and she just threw it away in front of her and my 3 year old crying asking why she just threw it away it was horrible. I feel like it could've been handled extremely differently especially being an issue with the card system, and not me.

I picked up my niece from TK and she immediately asked for ice cream, she just finished school so I thought it would be a great little after school treat. We ended up going to Iceskimo and I got her a little soft serve cone with sprinkles. The team here were so nice and she was so excited seeing the sprinkles on her ice cream. I was full from our lunch so I didn't get any but she thoroughly enjoyed it. I appreciate that this location has ample parking and seating inside and out! Thank you for being so kind to my niece and I, would definitely come back and take her for a treat!

Honestly wasn't blown away by the flavor of the ice cream or the dusting of toppings they put on the Cookie Monster. The waffle was the best part. Service was friendly. The place needs a little cleanup... shelves had a few months of dust on them right next to the main menu and register (hard to miss) -- makes you think if they aren't cleaning this, what else is dirty. They had enough indoor seating for a few small groups. Limited parking in a busy strip mall in Eastlake

This is a new location that popped up here in chula vista recently. I have been to previous iceskimos like the one in kearny mesa and convoy. I have to say overall the boba, puffles and matcha is great as usual. I ordered the cookie monster puffle and i really enjoyed it ! They really do need to redo the interior of this location because it feels like a warehouse for some reason. Stripped paint, outdated chairs, and no charging stations. The service was exceptional and the employees were very attentive with our orders. But overall the desserts are good as usual !

First time here. Was recommended to try this spot from a friend. Got kids size which was a decent amount of shaved snow with toppings. Jasmine milk tea (tried a friend's) had strong flavor and reminded me of the drink. Ube tasted like a light taro flavor. Toppings were mostly self service (they have you request for cookies dough, banana, cheesecake, boba)--enjoyed the almond jelly and mochi. You pay once they weigh your shaved ice. It ranged around $7-8 depending on how much you get. Ambiance was casual with r&b playing in the background.

The perfect place to fulfill your sweet tooth. Iceskimo has amazing cold and warm desserts that will make you want to come back. I enjoyed the cookies and cream kids size ice. My husband got the ube soft serve with a waffle, mochi and crushed up Oreos. Yum! The employee was super helpful and friendly. She answered all questions we had about the menu. It's a cute space to come enjoy a sweet bite.

Nice little sweet treat dessert spot! The place is clean and aesthetic inside, making it a pleasant place to hang out. I especially love that they offer matcha and ube options. We got the ube and vanilla soft serve with brown sugar boba and it was good.

Love their Thai tea. My partner and I usually visit this location for their Thai tea and milk tea. Sometimes we get a bubble waffle or ice cream depending how we feel. The service is usually good and the wait isn't long, unless you order a bubble waffle (expected though). The only downside is that they only offer one size for their drinks, which is a small. I would order a large if they offered. It's clean inside and has a lot of seating. Food and drinks are good and we always come back.

This is such a great dessert spot ! Located in the shopping center next to HomeGoods and across from Otay Ranch mall. It is beautiful inside , clean with great seating options . I ordered the Tiger Soft Serve! It was delicious!!!!! I highly recommend !! The service was great and quick! Tip: I would ask for lots of napkins or an extra larger cup . When eating the soft serve it began to overflow and was a bit messy until I made it home.

The taiyaki filled fish were tasty, came with 5 different flavors: cheese, mochi, red bean, oreo, Nutella. With a purchase of 5....you get mini soft serve for $3.50 each. Service was okay. But the store was super hot inside, even their indoor plants were wilting. The design is cute but the furniture tables are cheaply made.

One of my kids fave spots when they want something cold but not ice cream. They love the shaved ice here and all the toppings. Pretty self explanatory, you pick your size and the flavor of shaved ice... then you pack on your toppings! They have shaved ice, boba drinks, soft serve with boba and taiyaki too! The taiyaki filled with fresh banana is my fave treat here! The staff is always nice here. The space is always clean and never too busy. All in all, a great place to go for a sweet treat!

Really yummy spot! First time here, lots of options. I got the Tiger Waffle. It has bubble waffle, boba, oreos, vanilla soft serve ice cream with brown sugar syrup.

The young lady working was sweet and fast! We ordered a pineapple smoothie, the ube mochi creation, and a mini vanilla soft serve with sprinkles. Unless you go in starving I suggest sharing the bubble waffle creations with someone. Its a lot of ice cream and the waffle is a decent size too! I was actually shocked by how much you got. Definitely worth $10.95! We'll be back to try the affogato

This place was amazing when it first opened--everything was delicious, and it had a lot of buzz. But on my recent visit, it felt quiet, and the quality just wasn't the same. The soft serve didn't taste as good as it used to. That said, the strawberry matcha was excellent--probably one of the best I've had in the area, which is saying a lot since good ones are hard to find. The service was okay, though it could've been a bit friendlier. I'm open to giving it another shot, maybe for the shaved ice next time. Hoping it picks back up.

I was delightfully surprised with my visit here today. I was craving an affogato, and it was on their menu! I wasn't a fan of the chocolate chips so the server suggested I sub with mochi topping instead. And it was by far one of the best affogatos I've had in a long time. The shaved snow was actually better than regular ice cream! Amazing!!! It's a must try! Will definitely be back.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. We tried the Vietnamese coffee and the waffle with Nutella. The Vietnamese coffee was okay. It wasn't too strong and the flavor was okay. I recommend the waffle with Nutella. The waffle was good and crispy. We got the Nutella filling but it would have tasted good with or without the filling. Service was pretty good too. The worker was a really nice young man and very accommodating.

The ube mochi waffle goes crazy!!! I tried it for the first time - it satisfied my sweet treat craving instantly! The ube flavor is so smooth and creamy, the waffle is very crispy from being fresh off the iron, the Oreo bits were so crunchy and added a nice texture, and the mochi was the perfect chewy bite to bring it all together! I'd recommend splitting this with someone because it can get really sweet really quickly. The shop itself was cute and aesthetic and had lots of tables and seats. Good lighting too. The staff was friendly and welcoming and served my waffle with a smile. They also do punch cards so be sure to ask for one when you're there! I will be coming back to try their other waffle creations!

It was a hot and sunny saturday and I just got off of work in need of something sweet. Tried out iceskimo for the first time and I was fortunate enough to be served by Kaelin. He was so kind and helpful when trying to figure out what food and drink to get. He recommended me the cinnamon bubble waffle and the pineapple smoothie based on my cravings. Turned out really great and in a quick amount of time too.

Love this place! Consistently friendly and fairly quick service. Normally a quick stop for Taiyaki & boba tea. We like the different combination of options with taiyaki, bubble waffles with soft serve or shaved ice. Must try in the area!

I had their Strawberry Matcha Affogato yesterday(see picture) and it was delicious. Yum! My kids love love love their desserts and always ask to come here. The staff are friendly. They keep the restaurant clean. They sell drinks, waffles, soft serve, and snow. You can build your own snow. Pick a size, flavor and add toppings. They have plenty of toppings to choose from. They even sell Taiyaki Japanese fish-shaped waffles. Oh, they offer stamp cards. You can earn a stamp for every $5 spent. Collect 10 stamps and get $5 off on your next visit. I'll be coming back here again to try other Affogato and waffle creation flavors.

Nothing wrong with the food, but I'm a bit annoyed by the worker. The entire interaction was very pleasant, but she forgot to mention an additional charge. We decided to order the snow cup and we asked if we could do multiple flavors in a single order. She replied stating we could do that as long we ordered a small or large cup. I pleasantly chose 2 flavors, but when she went to ring me up there was an additional 1 DOLLAR charge. I understand it's only a dollar, but my order was around 5 bucks. You're charging me an additional 20% for asking for 2 flavors. You should have mentioned that there was going to be a charge instead of saying I could get multiple flavors as long as I got a small or large cup.

Place was next to Sharetea so what is going going to compliment a drink with some deserts right? Service - Good help and friendly service. Prices - The avg as to any other place like this. Taste - I will have to say it just tasted like any other place that sells these items. Location - Great location near shopping and restaurants. Venue - Clean with some seating inside and out. Overall chill place and worth trying out.

Ordered their Vietnamese coffee. It tasted water down and did not taste like the usual Vietnamese coffee. I asked the lady working if drip espresso is used and condense milk and she said yes. And I appeared confused because I said It tasted really watered down and not like your typical viet coffee. She then clarified that they used nespresso pods. I'm usually happy with what I get coming here but I was pretty disappointed in the service. She didn't even bother to offer trying to make another one or offer a different drink. She just said oh yea ours aren't like the viet coffee like you get everywhere else. I don't think it should be marketed as a Vietnamese coffee.... If it doesn't taste like one.

Beautiful dessert spot in Otay Ranch! Plentiful indoor and outdoor seating. Not too crowded on a weekday afternoon - service was attentive and prompt. My tiger milk style soft serve was delicious and well presented. The flavor was on-point and a bit sweet - as totally to be expected. Pricing is reasonable and I'll be back to try their shaved ice and waffles!

First timer ! Worst costumer service. Tiger Oreo milkshake. Two young ladies working. On Saturday at April 27 around 9:30 pm I asked if I could please have my drink Remake tastes horrible !! The employee working went to the back and made a face mon king my request . As if I did not pay for my drink. And walked up to the register and and with a immediate attitude and I asked her what was her name that I wanted to speak to the manager. She responded you don't need to know my name. And then said I'm the highest rank here. She stated she had a horrible day and she really hates her job and I said I'm sorry but that isn't my fault. We are paying costumers. I'm 21 weeks pregnant and that was probably the worst experience I've ever had. Never coming back here again!!

First time trying !! It's really good and friendly place ! It was only one worker working that day !! He did an amazing job taking care of his customers !!

Place looks nice and all. I ordered a matcha latte and they gave me the wrong order. I did not taste the latte at all. All they did was put almond milk and ice with matcha powder on it. I was so thirsty so that's why I finished it and I don't want to waste $8 for a drink I can make at home. What a disappointment uggghhh...

We brought my daughter here to treat her for receiving awards from her school. We had seen that this place wasn't too far from our house & good ratings on yelp, so we wanted to try it out. My daughter was interested in trying the Matcha Afogato when she saw the picture of it & decided that was the one she wanted. We had never been here before & had questions about what came in the matcha afogato as well as some other things on the menu. The employee that was helping us kindly answered all our questions & I really appreciated that. They don't wear nametags there so I had to ask her name, so incase her manager saw this review they can recognize her for her patience & kindness. Her name I believe was Jaylene. With the combination of her excellent customer service skills & the delicious Matcha Afogato we will most definitely be returning & I reccomend this place to anyone who likes to eat unique desserts.

A Crying Tiger Milk Tea was in order when I visited this place. I am already a Brown Sugar Milk Tea fan, so it was perfect for me. Initially, the flavor of the milk tea was very mute, but once I mixed the brown sugar mixture attached along the sides of the cup into the tea, things became much better. I wish they would of told me that because I drank about half of the milk tea before I figured it out. At any rate, the milk tea, once stirred, was quite tasty. The to young ladies working the shop were sweet and friendly. They giggled a lot for some reason too.

Cute spot! Think froyo but with shaved ice. The worker will take a big block of ice, whatever flavor you choose and shave it off into a cup! Definitely neat. You can then add toppings as you wish. They have plenty to choose from, fruits to candies and then cookie dough, cheesecake and brownie bites! Don't forget to opt in for the condensed milk. They also do waffles and drinks. Looking forward to trying other things. The location is NEW, bright and clean. Plenty of space to sit around and lounge in, of course after this COVID pandemic is over. Hoping to be back soon. Don't forget to start a punch card!

They have TAYAKI now!!! Yay!!! Now I don't have to drive all the way to Convoy just to get these! They come in 3 different flavors: mochi, Nutella, and banana. So naturally, I got all 3. LOL. My favorite is the Nutella. You can even add a tayaki to your soft serve, which is what I recommend, but they are just plain delicious on their own. They've got an amazing array of other concoctions; my daughter's favorite being the Bruce Lychee snow and my favorite being the Tiger Milk Tea because I'm not a huge ice cream lover like the rest of my family is. On top of that, they always have great service; super fast and super friendly.

We have visited Iceskimo in Chula Vista a few times. The customer service is always excellent. The cashier is always helpful, sharing recommendations and always with a smile. No matter what we order, we love everything. We ordered the Coconut Paradise, the Cookie Monster, the Snickerdoodle, and the Bubble Waffle with Vanilla Soft Serve. Everything was delicious. The items are a little on the pricey side, but everything we have tried so far has been delicious. We definitely plan on coming back for more. I can't wait to try other items.

Cute location located in Otay ranch. The AC does not work inside, it was hotter inside the cafe then outside, plus the door was closed.. yikes. The bubble waffles are amazing here. Made fresh, crispy, buttery light bubble waffles. The snickerdoodle and original waffles are both delicious. We ordered 2 of them with the toppings separated. The ice cream (soft serve) on the side. The shaved ice cream is good as well, we got the taro with sweet condensed milk. Customer service average. Prices reasonable.

Idk why the young girl with the thick fake lashes is rude !owner be aware! We explained it was our first time she made a resting bitch face and hated our questions, didn't even welcome us, I automatically felt like turning around but the little one really wanted ice cream, thank God the young man came out from behind, to understand and listen and show professionalism. The young short girl also invited her friend in and hang out on the clock wearing nasty shorts in children's view

The selection for ice cream is okay. I usually like to do the ice cream on fish bread/cone. The only downside is you will be waiting a while for your order. They usually only have about two people working and it's usually one taking orders and another completing the orders. Other than that, there is a lot of seating. However, the parking is not the greatest because there is very limited amount of parking.

Small and not busy at all for a Saturday night but it smelled delicious and lured us in with the promise of delicious boba soft serve. Ordered the Tiger (Vanilla) Soft Serve, Mochi Waffle Creation, and, the Tiger Waffle Creation. Would definately love to come back and try more options too!

Happy that there's a boba and snow ice place closer to home. We used to go to the Iceskimo on Convoy, but the parking there was a nightmare. Right next door to ShareTea, Iceskimo now offers other desserts. They have these bubble waffles that are made to order. You can either choose one of their creations, such as Cookie Monster, Strawberry Shorty, etc or customize your own. The Tiger Milk tea with almond milk and boba is my drink of choice. Very sweet and creamy and dangerously good. A must try is their Tiger Milk soft serve with boba - so good. One might say that it is outrageously sweet and IT IS! Cute place and friendly staff. We will be back - but not TOO often ;).

Really good and unique dessert place! You pour your own shot of espresso. All the toppings were really yummy. Once all the ice had melted it was kind of just like and an blended coffee though..

The desserts are so delicious and beautifully made! The employees are nice and efficient. The kids LOVED their desserts. We brought our Ohana from Hawaii and they enjoyed it too! We definitely will be back.

Saw it while driving by looking for a treat after church and we found this . It's flaky ice cream In a bowl with all the toppings you want . They don't weigh it just charge 50¢ for each topping . Which is pretty cool . I got a bubble waffle no ice cream it was amazing ! Restrooms still closed so if you have little kids I say go to a nearby restaurant there's a few . But that's why I gave it 4 stars . Very sweet girls and very fast to get order .

First time trying this place with the family. The food did not disappoint. The bubble waffle, soft serve and Taiyaki were good. The waffle was warm and crispy. The Taiyaki was warm, crispy and the filling was delicious. The soft serve was thick and creamy. The cashier / order taker was cheerful and all smile. Why the three stars? I'm old school and by that I mean, in order for a shop to fully impress me, the place needs to be kept clean. During the whole 40 minutes we were there, none of the tables were wiped after customers left. Needless to say, the table we used was sticky from the previous customer and had crumbs. I wiped it myself. I observed that there were opportunities in between customers for the staff to clean up the tables but that did not happen. Iceskimo, do yourself a favor and please clean up before the next customer shows up. Keep your shop as presentable as your food. I still recommend this shop.

Took my kids. They both got very similar cups with toppings. One rang up as $6+ and the other rang up at $12+! I paid and didn't notice until I saw my receipt (always ask to see your receipt!). The girl didn't even flinch. Just said she'd re-weigh the $12 one. She said there was something wrong with the scale and within seconds she "fixed it". She voided my original payment and re-rang the sale. Super shady business. Barely an apology and it seemed like it was intentional. Always check before you pay! We won't be back.

This place is really good. Their soft serve ice cream is the best I've had!! I got the Tiger soft serve and it's amazing! A little too sweet at the bottom but everything else is great. My hubby got the Vietnamese coffee and he said it's one of the best ones he's had. The Ube hot cocoa is good too. The place is clean and staff is friendly. Price is reasonable.

Well I showed up 15 minutes prior to closing and they told me they did not want to make waffles since they already cleaned it. Your supposed to serve all the way to the time you close. Just poor business. AND ON TOP OF THAT RAN OUT OF BOBA??? Your shop is a boba shop like come on. I would take your money right next to door they were super cool and hooked it up. And that's on period.

Tried out the new ICESKIMO today, the new location is gorgeous and the service was excellent. We tried a couple of new items from the menu. Both the original and chocolate bubble waffle were bomb, but the new star was the Ube soft serve. I consider myself a soft serve connoisseur and it was creamy, smooth and delicious. Five stars all the way Update 5/23/20 Iceskimo is back open for business! We missed it so much. Today we created our own waffle with Ube soft serve with mochi and chocolate chip cookies, it was superb as always. We will be back soon.
