"Ichi Ni San is a Japanese restaurant from Mot Hai Ba chef Peja Krstic, with former Yama Izakaya and Sushi chef Somnuk Gatesuwan leading the sushi menu. It offers live scallop sashimi, snow crab onigiri served with uni-spiked butter, okonomiyaki, grilled kampachi, and tofu-avocado rice bowls." - Amy McCarthy

Cool spot located inside The Exchange in ATT Discovery District off Commerce. The service and atmosphere are top notch and the Pink Panther sushi roll was enjoyable. I gave the food 4/5 stars because the roll wasn’t quite worth the $20 I paid for it. That being said it was still pretty good!

Ichi is located in a food court complex, which is nice if you're in the mood for sushi and the person you're with is in the mood for something else. I ordered the spicy tuna roll with tobico and it came in a cute disposable bento style box with a few soy sauce packets and a packet of ginger. I asked for a little wasabi and it was great. The pieces were so big I had a hard time eating them and I would have liked it a bit spicier, but it was beautiful and prepared well. It was finished rather quickly and I'd order it again for sure.

I went during the lunch rush. There was a wait for food, but I watched them make my salmon bento box, so at least I know it was fresh. Decent quality. I completely understand why they have a limited menu but surprised simple, small maki rolls weren't offered a la carte. Like the $6-$8 maki rolls at other sushi places. The staff was friendly though. Nice to try but I don't see myself being a regular.

Average poke bowl- compared to actual Hawaiian bowls! They fill it with other things which taste good and are healthy but I love the ahi fish which was not that much in bowl- located in the exchange- cool atmosphere- fast service- street parking- nice staff

Visited during lunch. Only had a short amount of time. There was a line but it went fast. Food was good just the portion size was a little smaller than average.

I got the pleasure of eating the salmon bento box and shrimp tempura roll. This was my first visit to this establishment and I am one happy camper! 10/10 (oops, broke the Google review rating scale 😅) rating for the atmosphere, food, and staff! Thank you!~

Google
Fantastic quality of salmon!! Melt in your mouth. Rice perfectly cooked. Apples ripe and fresh cut. Unfortunately the sesame seeds were rancid. My wife noticed the funky mildewy taste on everything. I agreed, and we ate through each ingredient separately. Confirmed a nasty, barnyard, earthy mold flavor on the seeds that ruined the dish. Sad. Even if this was a random fluke, I can’t recommend it. What others have said about the portions isn’t wrong. There was maybe 2 ounces of salmon in the bowl, for $20. There was roe, which was delicious, but it was mostly rice and lettuce. A $5 taco would have been more satisfying. They could go a long way just by doubling the amount of rice.

I was going to order here, but then I watched the person making the sushi keep his dirty gloves on while touching all over the ordering screen that everyone else has to sign and touch, then go straight back to making sushi and digging through the rice and other stuff with the same gloved hands. So gross. 🤮

Yelp
Visiting to Dallas for the first time and decided to go to The Exchange for dinner. Hit up Ichi and realized there's only one guy working. He's doing a great job being by himself. Props to him. Wondering why it's short staffed? Feel bad for the dude.

Yelp
I was craving some decent sushi and finally tried this place out! It's right across from my office and very convenient. I got the vegetarian bento box and it hit the spot! It wasn't busy but the bar hostess said I could call it in next time since I waited about 15 mins for the order. The time gave me a chance to check out the private dining areas for possible work events. I snagged my bag and ran back to my office. Delightful packaging with 4 veggie sushi roll pieces, fried tofu swimming in sauce, a bed of sushi rice piled high w some crunchy stir fried veggies and a salad mix. It was so tasty! I'll order this again with no sauce on the tofu. Their other options looked tempting as well. Until next time, Ichi!

Yelp
The sushi was honestly really great, some of the best spicy Tuna I have had. The guy was kind and hard working. Would recommend!

Yelp
Total waste of money. Charged $22 for a veggie roll. Fish tasted off. I'm particularly upset with the manager who decided to rip us off because we asked for a substitution.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant located upstairs inside the exchange at the AT&T center, spectacular views and service. Ed our bartender is definitely the best not only is he super personable he is very knowledgeable and he can shake those drinks like no one else can it is certainly a show :). The Manager is so sweet and accommodating, I wish I could recall her name but every time we are there she makes us feel very welcomed which is a major plus. Food is amazing, the duck fired rice is delectable, so happy that this place is open since it is just a few steps from where I live and the service is outstanding. I love this restaurant and their staff I will definitely come here again.

Yelp
Went here for a date with my wife and it was great! The service was friendly and the food was good. I got the duck fried rice and we split a strawberry shortcake for dessert that made me want to cry (in a good way). The ambiance of the the second floor is romantic and a great place for a date. We will be back!

Yelp
We spontaneously decided to go here for lunch and it was wonderful! It's on the second floor and there's so much natural lighting and the aesthetic is very chic. There were only a few other people there when we came, so service was great. We started off with a couple cocktails and I will definitely be coming back for the "Just Like Audrey Hepburn" again, I highly recommend it. The cocktails are priced $10-13, pretty average for a nice place in Dallas. The food was delicious. The chicken in the sandwich was probably the most moist fried chicken I've ever had. I'd definitely go back and eat this again. Everything was seasoned and sauced really well, except the potato wedges that went with the Executive Lunch Steak were on the dry side. For $25, the Executive Lunch is a pretty good deal. I'm planning on going back again for sure.

Yelp
Not worth the money you'll spend... but the food was good. Here's why: - They provided wooden, throw-away chopsticks. You know - the ones you get in your Friday night Chinese takeout - No coasters - Our table piled up with dirty dishes - Our server didn't take time to let us know the portion sizes of small plates - leaving it up to us to portion them out with our own utensils But here's the big one: I organized a party around this dining 'experience' - communicating well and in advance of our arrival. This was a special event. The waitress said it would take a long time for our meal to arrive, so I took this time to use the restroom. I waited outside the occupied restroom for a few minutes. The restroom door opened and two members (guy and a gal) of the wait staff walked out of the single-person bath room with tousled hair as they straightened their clothes.... Not more than five minutes after the waitress said it would "take a long time for our food to arrive" I began walking back to our table to find that "the main event $130 sushi boat experience" had already taken place and my party was waiting on me. Like I said.... Not worth the money you'll spend. The food was great though.
