Price quality quantity ratio is really good! It's a filling sandwich. I preferred the tonkatsu sandwich over the tamago (egg) ones. The egg is slightly sweet. I like that they used the Japanese milk bread but they also used ones that are thicker so it feels a bit too bready towards the end. Good place to go for lunch!

I had the tamago with roe, shrimp and the dessert fruit and cream sando. Oh my goodness! They were full bites of happiness. The tamago (egg) was very soft, sweet with dashi flavor and the shrimp was bursting morsels of shrimp in each bite. The bread very light and soft. The dessert sandwich was definitely amazing too. The cream itself was very subtle and yummy and the fruit gave the sandwich the kick of sweetness. The bread for the dessert was also like cake but even better! Pricey but I feel it was worth it! FYI The little crystal on the desset bread was called "fruit caviar."

Ordered the standard tamago sando with horseradish katsu sauce. Sando came freshly made and warm. Nice quality and thickness of bread. Tamago was cooked very well. It was tender and moist. My only issue was the tamago was sweet. No balance of sweet and savoury. Just sweet. I thought perhaps it was the katsu sauce but I tried the tamago on its own and it was that predominantly sweet flavour. Very filling but would have been more satiating if it didn’t feel more like dessert. I hope it was just that batch.

Delicious authentic Japanese sandwiches, wow! I highly recommend the egg sandwiches particularly the mentaiko! It's a perfect blend of sweetness and mild spiciness in between deliciously soft bread! All sandwiches are made fresh and although the price may seem high, the taste more than makes up for it. 😁👍

An exciting addition to Japantown, and a great experience on how Japanese sandwiches, and Japanese Tamago differ from most sandwiches. I am also excited that they kept the shaved milk machine from the previous restaurant at the location, as it is a great treat for after the sandwich. I will definitely be visiting regularly to check for new specials.

Had the original tamago and the tonkatsu. Both so incredibly good! Originally thought the prices were high for a sandwich but they were filling and super tasty. Would go back!
