Got the beef teriyaki and dragon roll. The beef teriyaki was flavorful and tender, though I did wish they gave even 2 more slices of beef, even if it was super thin. The dragon roll was tasty. Interior is small, but there is another side room too. The service was friendly. I sat at the bar and mid way, there were 2 different servers that asked to see how I was doing too. They speak cantonese too I hear

If you are ever in the mood for some good sushi, then you wanna check out Ichika Sushi house. Customer service is excellent m. Atmosphere is excellent and the prices are pretty good. I actually ordered some food to go atmosphere was so good. I stayed and ended up eating there in the restaurant. They brought me out some appetizers and free water. Did I mention the Great customer service. Well done.

Had dinner with a few friends there. Is a regular place for the friends but 1st time for me. The service was friendly n excellent. The food tasted average to me. I had solfshell crab ramen. The soup base lack wow factor n the crab was fry with corn meal,. It was not season n feel a bit gritty. I would not come back alone, but would come with my friends. This is their neighborhood place.

What a wonderful neighborhood hidden gem. We came we ate we destroyed the treasure box, sushi taco, some kimindei, and the chef special hand roll. The staff was welcoming and esp. Jennifer was so sweet. Thanks to the team at Ichika for making our meal amazing.

One of our favorite Japanese spots on the Peninsula. The sushi is always fresh, their staff is super nice and attentive, and they also have quite a few non-sushi options too. Their chicken katsu curry is probably the best one in the Bay Area.

Being native Texan visiting San Fran, I was blown away at the quality, portions, uniques dishes and price point. Recommend you try the Brisbane roll, fish tacos, bluefin tuna nigiri. DeeLish!

Good japanese food. Service was ok at best. I've been here several times, and the service was good in the past, but this time around several issues were present. One, only 2 waters delivered, after asking for waters all around. Two, waited for a Hamachi Kama that took at least 20 minutes to arrive after everyone was eating. I guess they misheard the order, and gave a hamachi 6 peice roll instead of the hamachi kama. They didn't check on us to ask if the food was all delivered. After asking, it took another 10 minutes. At the end of the meal, we were waiting for the check, but had to go find a waiter. Other than this experience, the food was tasty. The quality was good. Reasonably priced, and good place for groups.

I stopped by here before attending a concert in the city, and upon noticing the parking lot is pretty small so it can be limited. Once I got to the restaurant, I noticed that there's inside and outside seating and the decor inside is very cozy. On one side of the restaurant, you have the tables where you're able to sit in a booth which I thought was neat. We had a party of 3 and wait time was roughly 10-20 mins, not too long. Once we sat down, the service was quick and food was great. I forgot the name of the items we ordered but they were all fresh and delicious! The oysters we got were plump and the sauces paired up with it. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely come back here :)

Came here for a date night. From the moment we arrived, we were immediately seated and within a couple of minutes the server was already at the table with complimentary Edamame and water while going over the "Specials" on the menu for the evening. Top notch, high quality service. It feels like a sushi hut but in restaurant form, while being able to watch 3 sushi chefs working their magic behind the counter. The food is definitely on point. If I remember correctly, we only ordered 3 rolls, but received a 4th by mistake and weren't charged for it. I offered to pay for the roll, nonetheless, but they wouldn't let me. Just a humble apology for the mix up. - Oysters - California Roll - Heart Attack - Old County Roll - Angry Fish I'll be coming back! Service, Food, Ambiance were all beyond my expectations.

Love love love Ichika Sushi house! I've been eating here for years and has become a special place for me and girlfriend. It's not an exaggeration when I say everything I've eaten here was great. The quality of fish is top tier and the rolls they have are unique and creative. They even have a great fresh wasabi My go orders are the Chirashi bowl and also the sake don. For the rolls I love the double toro and mango roll. Inside it's very cozy they even have a couple booths that look very traditional. Love they serve tea and edamame to customers. They have a small parking lot so parking isn't usually an issue. 5/5 and A+ across the board for Ichika Sushi House

Natalie our server was amazing today! She was very kind and attentive. The staff here never seem to fail with service. Always providing wonderful service. Our food always comes out delicious and fresh. Never have a complaint when coming here. This is my #1 favorite sushi spot to go to and would highly recommend people to come here. Service is very fast as well. The restaurant is always kept clean and tidy. Todays visit we had tried: -Wagyu Yakitori (3) -Scallop Yakitori -Beef teriyaki (My personal fav) -Mango Salmon Roll -Itchika Supreme Handroll All items came out very fresh and absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend everything on the menu from this place. I'll never stop coming here. We've been coming here for 3 years and the food and service is always up to par! It was so nice, after paying the bill they gave me a complimentary gift card to use during my next visit. How sweet is that? In all, I paid $99.93 after taxes (not including tip). I made sure tip was cash and 20%! They always strive for wonderful service and best quality food. Thank you Natalie for your wonderful service and all Itchika staff!

The service was amazing. The staff was very accommodating. We had a birthday and they kindly offered a few free mochi icecream with a candle. There were two rooms in this restaurant. One side had what I thought was tatami mat seating, but it turned out to be a table inside of a raised floor. You were sitting like you normally would at a table but the seat was the entire floor if that makes sense. It's not actually tatami seating. We ordered a 10 piece salmon sashimi, rainbow roll, double salmon roll, and the dragon roll. The sashimi was delicious - no fishiness at all. They cut some of the pieces too thin, so they gave us an extra piece to make up for it! All the sushi was as expected and tasted great, the only problem was with the rice on the rolls. The taste and texture were fine, but I'd say they only put half the rice that would usually be on a sushi roll. I've order take out before and it was never like that, so this might have been a fluke. All in all, service was great, but you might need to order an extra roll to make up for the smaller portion sizes.

Four stars all around for Ichika! We've been here a few times and their food is always consistent, sushi always fresh. Dinner time, especially on the weekends can get busy but the restaurant is pretty big. We never have to wait long for a table. My favorite here are the belly nigiri (salmon, toro, hamachi), angry fish roll and double toro roll. Their geso age is also a must order. Service is attentive and quick. Parking is easy since Ichika is located in a strip mall.

Ichika Sushi House is a small, clean, cozy restaurant in a strip mall in Brisbane. Lots of parking. We came for lunch on a Saturday when it opened at 11:30 am. We were seated right away. The staff were friendly and gave great service. Served ice cold water and edamame and miso soup as soon as we were seated. We ordered mainly Sushi, Assorted Tempura and a Chicken Karaage Curry. All the food was tasty, yummy and fresh. Usually sushi is on the pricey side and this was no exception because it probably averaged at least $30 per person for lunch. I would not say it's a hidden gem because it got very busy!! Overall, we would definitely come back. The food is good, ambiance is very nice and clean, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Fresh fish and excellent sushi rice! Instead of omakase tonight I opted for the deluxe chirashi bowl. It was packed with fish I and there was even scallops and uni inside. The crispy shrimp head was a nice touch, it made for a refreshing bite from the fish. The shrimp itself was creamy but not super sweet. While the uni was pretty solid in flavor, salty cream and fresh. The uni wasn't in the best solid texture but it still made for good eating. The sushi rice was perfection, seasoned just enough to have that subtle vinegary taste without taking away from fish. I would love to come back and try the omakase next time! Someone in our party had the pork curry katsu and enjoyed their meal. The portion looked quite generous and the katsu looked crunchy!

I love this place! The sushi is always fresh and delicious. I have been here with the family numerous times and are not ever disappointed. We usually get the Dragon Roll, Double Toro Roll, Phoenix Roll, Lion King Roll as well as Chicken Katsu Curry for the kid. Everything is consistent every time. The service is attentive but not hovering and they always make sure you are satisfied. The decor and vibe is minimalist yet pretty. I think I have my favorite sushi spot now.

Ichika - Brisbane Girls' night out kind of evening Finally caught up with some long-time friends over sushi at Ichika. One of the girls mentioned it gets packed, so I made reservations ahead of time (thankfully!). I wasn't sure what to expect, but the customer service was on point -- super welcoming and attentive. We ordered family style -- everyone went for the rolls... except me, haha. You already know I'm all about that sashimi life! One standout? The hamachi with truffle appetizer. OMG. One bite and it was like fireworks -- buttery, rich, melt-in-your-mouth with that perfect hit of truffle. Overall, I was genuinely impressed with the quality of the sushi. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Definitely worth every bite. Will be back!

We got here right at 5 and left by 530. This was a great spot to sit down and have a good meal. We loved the miso soup it was warm and flavourful. We enjoyed the complimentary edamame. When we got our food it was delicious and filling. I enjoyed my backed scallop roll. It was the best! Look forward to coming back. Service was prompt and attentive. The crowd started coming in. Surly people know where the good food is! I loved the decor inside. The music was also perfectly curated.

Stop by for a quick snack to go. Carol, the waitress was very attentive and conscientious about my gluten-free diet. She helped me order the Poki salad and princess roll with no sauce and provided gluten-free soy sauce on the side. Places always clean and ambience is chill. The fish was fresh as ever and hits the spot! The pokey salad had some sweet daikon and cool cucumbers that gives the fresh fish great flavor! The princess roll is aesthetically pleasing - so good, I almost didn't want to eat it lol

Good and creative presentation. The service is attentive and fast. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. It is like you are transported in Japan. I highly recommend it.

This is my husband and I's go-to sushi spot! They always have a wait on the weekends for a reason--they quality of fish is there and the prices aren't crazy! We do recommend the treasure box for those special occasions. At $85 per box, we took the plunge for our anniversary and enjoyed the variety and taste of everything. Our usual order is chirashi for the both of us and an ichika roll to share. On a fancier day, we go for the deluxe chirashi but honestly a regular chirashi is more than enough food for us. Great hidden gem if you're near the area! It has a small parking lot and seats outside for waiting. In warmer seasons, they place tables outside with outdoor heaters too.

My partner and I tried to give this place a shot but after no employee acknowledge us for over 15 minutes, we went inside to see if we can get a table for two. Again after no acknowledgment from the employees, my partner and I decided to seat at an empty table. Soon after an employee quickly went over to us saying that they needed to clean the table and basically demanding us that we get up. This made us feel really uncomfortable, as it seemed that they did not want to serve us. I'm not sure as to why but I'm thinking race might have be an issue (my partner and are Mexicans). Doesn't surprise me though as we have had negative experiences in Brisbane before. We ended leaving but this will be shared with our network. We and our networks will never be coming back nor think about supporting this business.

service was horrible. asked for ginger twice and they kept forgetting. server was rude and didnt come to check if we needed anything else. food was not fresh either. got the double toro and the fish inside was chewy as hell. the rice seemed like it was sitting out for some time also.

Great food but a bit pricey. My brother loves the sushi, it's fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the seating in the backroom. More of a traditional setting.

I've been coming here since before pandemic. I just did not have a good experience yesterday. Our server Nicole forgot our edamame beans. I thought we didn't order the right foods to get this perk, but it turns out she simply forgot and I was too salty to ask as she never came back to our table after giving us our flatware/drinks and taking our order. I went on Wednesday 1/26/22 @ 1830. It was a full house and ended up waiting 15 minutes outside for a table inside. I spent $135 for fish tacos ($15.50), charashi bowl and the toro bowl. I just was a bit taken back as I didn't feel it was worthy of $100+. The fish tacos have shrunk. The toro bowl rice was lacking in flavor and the fish was cut so thin.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday and got seated right away! It's very lowkey and cozy. We were given complimentary edamame and hot green tea. We ordered the chicken karaage, Romeo roll and ichika roll. The chicken karaage was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Romeo roll was delicious, the scallops were really fresh. The flavor of the ichika roll was also superb. All the fish seemed really fresh.

Excellent food and quick service!! Sushi always tastes great and fresh. Highly recommend this place for good Japanese food.

We came here for dinner and sat at the bar. A waitress dropped off a bowl of edamame and tea. We started with the veggie tempura and yaki ika. We also got the angry fish roll and deluxe chirashi. The fish was fresh and yummy. I was quite satisfied with the food. Service was good overall. The food came out quickly and the tea was refilled. When we got the bill, we were given a gift certificate. I guess it's because of the holiday season- nice touch!

GET THE TREASURE BOX!!!! Treasure box consists of all the great selection of chef's choice, and can easily be shared with another person. The waitress mentioned it was good enough for one person, but I like variety and wanted to order more items on the menu. Sushi is amazing, and way better than the Michelin restaurants that I've been to in SF. Cute restaurant and top notch sushi. You know the sushi is going to be good when they give you quality pointed chopsticks to eat with!

I'd give this place a 3.5/5 but there's no half stars. The food was alright, I got a tempura udon and a hand roll that isn't pictured. The udon was good and the tempura portion was more than I was expecting, at first I thought I'd just get one shrimp tempura so I was pleasantly surprised they had a good assortment. The handroll wasn't the highest quality roll they have better sushi places on the peninsula or in the city, but this place is a solid sushi for the Brisbane area. Service was decent but they were busy so it makes sense that they weren't the most attentive. Overall not a bad option if you're the area.

Last min plan for Valentine's Day night. My cousin and I decided to grab dinner together. I was a little worried we might not find a place to eat that's not crowded or $$ We arrived to Ichika right when they opened at 5:15pm and there were a few people waiting at the front already. We got seated in 15-20mins? And we did not make a reservation.... So we got lucky! Very cozy setting, so perfect for date night. The staffs were all friendly. Our last item which was the valentines treasure box didn't arrive for a while so we had to ask about it 15mins later or more. Which is understandable because it was Valentine's Day and they did have a full house. I will for sure return again ! Everything was so fresh! Lalalove their monk fish! Best I've ever had

This place has always been on my bookmarks and I got to finally try it on Valentine's day. We got here right when they opened at 5pm, and was able to get a table inside. super cozy and romantic spot with tasteful decor. Despite it being a busy day, the servers were still attentive and provided great service. Fresh Ankimo (5/5) Some of the freshest I've had in the Bay Area. Dare I say as good as Japan? We were super happy with this dish. Highly recommend. Treasure Box (5/5) Just enough for two people, the treasure box is a must get when you come here. We got the Valentine's day box that came with abalone, uni + ikura over rice, king salmon, wagyu nigiri, Toro nigiri, Hamachi, oysters with caviar, sea bass, and a savory egg pudding dish topped with a dungeness crab. Mango Salmon Roll (4/5) salmon was fresh and the mango was sweet and complimented the roll so well. Fancy Oysters (5/5) topped with quail egg, ikura, ponzu and green onion. i really enjoyed these as well and even put some of the Ankimo on top overall, great experience for our first time. I will definitely be back!

This place was so good. Came here with a few friends. What started off as quick bite turned into eating almost all the rolls on the menu. They have a parking lot right outside and tons of seating. We got sat inside, ordered 4 rolls. Our server was attentive and helpful in choosing what rolls to try. When we finished the rolls, we ended up ordering another two rolls. Then another two rolls. The fish was flavorful and so delicious. As we continue to eat through the night, we saw a line starting to form outside. Glad we came earlier and snagged a seat before it got packed. I'm not a big sushi eater but this took the cake for me. 10/10 all around and would be back soon! Tried these rolls 49er - classic, can't go wrong with this Mango Salmon - the mango on the sushi was unique and unlike anything I've tried. Hot Girl - this was spicy but love how they did not cheap out on the amount of crab put into it Double Toro - Similar to Mango Salmon but toro style Godzilla - another classic that has a lot more ingredients so more filling Phoenix - The truffle oil on the fish was the best thing I've had in a while (I just came back from Japan, too!) it really enhanced the flavor

The restaurant appears small when you first enter, but they have another room to the left with more tables. Their menu prices are pretty typical of decent sushi places. I only ordered the Ichika Roll since I wasn't very hungry. It was good, but not anything extraordinary or anything to write home to. Service was also very minimal, they don't make suggestions or offer to tell you anything about their fish. There is a free parking lot right outside. Also be aware that they automatically charge 18% gratuity for groups of 5 or more. I didn't notice and accidentally marked an extra 18%. Thankfully, when I called they assured me that they do not take on additional tips if tips were automatically applied even if I checked the extra 18% box! It's been 2 weeks now, and credit card was charged appropriately. I'm not sure I would be back though, since the sushi didn't impress me.

This is my second visit here, and the customer service was poor. We made reservations both times. During the first visit, we waited over 20 minutes because a family at the table continued to chat. This time, we waited over 15 minutes for a waitress to take our order, and someone had to get up to signal a waitress. I looked at the menu online before coming to the restaurant, but the in-person menu was different because the online version was outdated. The sushi is quite good; some pieces had mango in them, which really complements the fish. The restaurant has a nice and cozy atmosphere, with two different sections, one for smaller groups and another for larger groups.

Came here for lunch with my friend and it was relatively busy. We were seated right away at one of the cute "floor" tables. And they gave us complimentary miso soup and edamame. After a quick browse of the menu we ordered the fish tacos, veggies tempura, and we both got the deluxe chirashi bowls. Fish tacos were yum. Nice crunch and a little bit of a jalapeño kick. And had to get some veggies, even though they are deep fried. The deluxe chirashi book came with an assortment of sashimi, amaebi, uni, sake, tuna, hamachi, scallop just to name a few. I mean it was packed with a variety and definitely worth the price and would definitely order again.

This is our new go-to spot for sushi as we live nearby! We got there roughly around opening and were seated right away. The restaurant is pretty intimate so it filled up pretty fast. We ordered Nigiri's and it tastes really fresh. Would definitely go here often!

Amazing find for a great sushi spot in Brisbane. Met a friend there for dinner and loved everything that we ate. The veggie tempura roll was a surprising star with the sweet potato and we loved it! Great atmosphere to hang out and chat over dinner. Staff was really friendly.

Place is so welcoming the moment you open the door. Food tasted great and came out fast, we enjoyed every bite! Ordered the Treasure Box, regular chirashi bowl, and double toro roll. Treasure box needs to be tried at least once. Everything was fresh and tasted yummy. The regular chirashi bowl rice was seasoned well and the fish was amazing; loved the variety. Lastly the toro roll was good. The fish was melt in your mouth soft and the mango inside added a nice hint of sweetness to it.

We came to Ichika on Christmas Eve since it was one of the few restaurants that were open! We got both the Treasure Box and the Omakase Sashimi and they did not disappoint! Everything in the Treasure Box was already seasoned to perfection, and such a good deal! It also came with steamed egg (not pictured) I did feel like the Omakase sashimi was a bit extra after getting the Treasure Box because a lot of the sashimi was also included in the Treasure Box but unseasoned. Next time, I would probably stick to just the Treasure Box. I love the vibe here as well -- they also have Japanese style seating. It's cool but difficult to get in and out of.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover how close I live to this hidden gem--it completely flew under my radar until this past weekend! I visited with a group of six on a Saturday night and was seated immediately. The restaurant features a side room with longer tables and Tatami seating, perfect for larger parties. There's also a cozy outdoor seating area with heaters. We were welcomed with complimentary edamame as soon as we were seated, which was a nice touch since everyone was starving! We decided to order various rolls for the entire table to share. We ordered the Mango Salmon Roll, Ichika Roll, Double Toro Roll, Phoenix Roll, and Romeo Roll. While every roll was packed with flavor, my favorite would be the Romeo roll--I loved the melt-in-your-mouth combination of salmon and scallops. My partner and I also ordered the omakase nigiri, which showcased fresh and delicate cuts of fish. What impressed me was the exceptional service--our food arrived incredibly quickly! The staff was friendly and attentive. The delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and quick service make this spot a must-visit. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring their extensive menu!

Mr and I had an impromptu date night a couple months back and I wanted sushi, but from somewhere I had never been before. He took me here as he's been a few times with the fellas. It was actually super crowded for a Friday night at 8PM. Indoor and outdoor seating (w heatlamps). We opted for inside bc it was a rather chilly evening. And bc it was just the two of us and we didn't care to wait we took a seat at the bar. Menu is pretty extensive. And I kept looking back to @yelp to see the popular dishes. The fish tacos (second photo) get me 10 plates of those. Yum! Seared salmon, white fish, avocado, jalapeño, and salsa on a crispy seaweed chip! I love me some fish tacos (the battered kind) but man this is IT! To be honest I don't even remember what those other rolls were because the fish tacos left a core memory in my tummy.

Brought my dad here for lunch today. He's an 87-year old Chinese-American man who was born in China. While he has had many years of experience eating Cantonese Style dishes, he lacks experiencing other types of foods. Today, I told him to choose whatever he wanted except Chinese. If there was anything that he'd ever wanted to try that his wife was not interested in, now was the time. Japanese, Italian, Mexican, Hawaiian, Korean... whatever he wanted. He chose Japanese. I asked him if he would be willing to try any raw fish. NO. Hmmm. Maybe a Bento Box? Well, I'll figure it out once we arrive at the restaurant. We were seated immediately after entering at about 11:45. We were given menus and Ice Water, Miso Soup and Edamame. Ut oh. No Bento Boxes. They did have lunch plates but nothing too exciting. So I decided that we should simply have a lunch of appetizers. BBQ Short Rib - 5 - Ended up by dad's favorite dish. Super flavorful. Lamb Chops - 5 - Two tender and delicious lamb chops. Assorted Tempura - 5 - Perfection. Age Dashi Tofu - 5 - Another tasty dish. Hamachi Kama - 5 - I've run out of adjectives. California Roll - 4 - The only reason I've knocked one star off of this dish is that I still remember when julienned cucumbers were part of the roll to add flavor and texture. Black Cod Miso Yaki - 5 - Just a bit too sweet but a bowl of hot rice would have fixed that. Yes, we had seven appetizers and there were no leftovers. Almost everything was excellent. Service was good with one minor hic-cup. My dad dropped a chopstick, and a server said she would bring another but apparently forgot. There appeared to be two servers that were hustling and two sushi chefs. I don't know how many were working the back of the house. When we first sat down, I thought the music was too loud. It was either the one song that was loud or someone turned it down. The dining room was clean as was the restroom. I'm going to have to return to try the Sashimi again!

super fast service! ordered and then sashimi came out in 5 min. the raw oysters were so good. tried the warrior roll, love the crispy onion touch on top, makes it unique. the sashimi platter was more than enough to make us full already. the fried squid amazing and good flavors. bill was on the pricier side. good amount of seating. inside and outside seating available

MY FAVE SUSHI SPOT! Love the ambiance in here. Always makes me wanna eat a lot. Love all their nigiri's, the uni was lovely, their truffle roll is delicious. Service is lovely here. Wait time isn't bad at all each time we came. Although evenings on weekends tend to be busy. My husband and I frequent here and I finally got to bring my best friend who is obsessed with sushi as much as I am. Will always be coming back here over and over. Highly highly recommend this spot!

FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIANCE ! This place was fantastic and extremely delicious! Service was incredibly fast, the waitresses were super helpful. We ordered the oyster special (x2) because it was so gooooooood and then we ordered the double toro (if you don't like the wasabi, don't get it) but it was still very delicious and another roll that I don't remember the name. No complaints, you guys have the best workers!

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I did not eat there but got take out. We order one chicken dinner, one beef teriyaki dinner and one tempura udon. The tempura was tasty and had a good texture and the soup had a nice flavor to it.Both the chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki were good except the chicken had some skin and fatty parts and the beef had some pieces that were a little tough. The employee that helped us seemed friendly and I love the decorations and atmosphere especially at night. The hanging lanterns looked really nice.

Haven't been here in a while and decided to make a return. The staff is friendly and efficient making sure to work as a team to serve their customers. The order was placed in a timely manner with the food arriving at a good pace. The ambiance is casual with music playing in the background. Ordered some sushi rolls and my usual chicken teriyaki. The portion was good and enough to get full. Recommend for your Japanese food craving!

Long due review. This place is the best you can find in a substantial radius, we all love going to Ichika for a family dinner regularly. Everything they serve is fresh, tasty and particularly well curated, the environment is welcoming and warm and the staff goes the extra mile to offer an outstanding service. Can't recommend this enough, and don't forget to read the daily specials from the menu on the wall. ;)

I love this place! My man took me here on a date and I am glad he did. First off, they are always packed so come willing to wait. Secondly, they are attentive. Thirdly, food is amazing! Their garlic edamame, miso soup, and Lion King roll is amazing! You may wait long to get a table but they are quick with the food. This is a go to sushi spot!

First time ordering takeout from Ichika and I was pleasantly surprised!! We ordered 3 rolls and 1 toro chirashi bowl. The food remained fresh and the rice was still soft and warm despite it being a to-go order. We ordered online and picked up but you can also order in person for to-go: which is a GREAT option if you dont have time to dine in. I feel like when I go to eat, this place typically has a 15-20 minute wait for parties of 4 on a weekend. So this is a great alternative!! Located in a plaza so plenty of parking available. this place has one of the best fun rolls in the peninsula. another touch I love about this place is the kizami relish they provide with their chirashi bowls - Ask for extra because they will give you extra for free!

This place really is a gem located in Brisbane. I haven't been back here in a couple of years, but the food and service is just as good as I remember. There's a parking lot out front that can get busy because it's shared with other businesses. My friend and I got there around 6:30 and we were able to get seated right away. The staff was great about checking in frequently. They have tables inside and outside the restaurant. The fish taco appetizer is a must!! It's fried seaweed that's topped with salsa, seared fish, and avocado. My friend got the phoenix roll and double toro. I loved the phoenix roll because it has truffle oil which brings out great flavor. It was my first time ordering the treasure box and I was super impressed. The presentation was beautiful and each dish was unique. The box was $85 which is a splurge but good to try at least once.

Came here on Saturday for the first time as a party of 2. Looked promising from the outside even if Brisbane feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. We ordered the agedashi tofu which was reasonable and came out promptly and then the regular chirashi and the omakase sashimi. I really wanted to give it 4 stars because most everything was fresh and the portions were quite large but it was also quite flavorless. We are used to other places in and around SF and this just didn't quite do it. There was enough staff and everything was prompt but unless you are looking for roll, deep fried and covered in sauce as I saw many others order, go elsewhere.

Nice vibes, quite busy during dinner time. Decent sushi, but very dry beef and chicken teriyaki. Service was extremely quick even though it was busy. Bathroom was clean but toilet was clogged.
