We came here for dinner after reading positive reviews. This Japanese restaurant serves both sushi / sashimi along with hot food items. We ordered off the a la carte menu as we were hoping to get a good sampling of their offerings.
The sushi is extremely fresh. A good variety of fish was served. We got both a special sushi and special sashimi which came with different types of fish that were marinated in different manners which changed both the texture and the taste in a very positive way. The amount of rice vinegar used was appropriate. They also have a brush at tableside allowing you to control the amount of soy sauce to add onto it needs a fish. I thought this was a very fun detail.
For hot food items we ordered the korroke, karaage (fried chicken), yakiniku, and Wagyu udon. These were all delicious and we enjoyed them very much. If there was one feedback that we would give is that the yakiniku was a bit heavy on the sauce which took away from the delicate beef taste.
Not sure if this would be feasible, but if this restaurant imported more fish from Japan it would definitely elevate their sushi dishes even more!
