Miami’s Best Ramen Restaurants | Eater Miami

"Ichimi gives the ramen bowl an upgrade with its modern twist on Asian cuisine. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a perfect venue to enjoy its house-made noodles in a variety broth flavors. Try the Tonkatsu ramen that comes with pork belly, a hanjuku egg, and bamboo shoots." - Olee Fowler

14 Outstanding South Florida Japanese Restaurants That Go Beyond Sushi | Eater Miami

"This Coral Gables eatery offers a concise menu of izakaya favorites for diners who need their fix. It is its namesake ramen, however, that is the real draw here. Besides its bowls of noodles in in a variety of broths, including the rich and porky tonkotsu, the restaurant also offers cold ramen dishes. Additionally, the restaurant offers noodles with dipping sauces, called tsukemen. On occasion, the kitchen will also feature seasonal ramen preparations." - Carlos Olaechea

Stopped by just to try their ramen, and it did not disappoint. The Spicy Miso Ramen with beef was rich, flavorful, and satisfying. Tender slices of beef, creamy eggs, and a deep broth made it a very solid bowl. Service was quick and polite, and the food came out hot. The atmosphere is casual and works well for a spontaneous meal. However, a few things stood out: • Cleanliness could definitely be improved. You pass through a cluttered back area full of boxes on the way to the restroom. • The restroom was not clean, which left a bad impression. • We ordered a simplified ramen for our daughter (just broth, noodles, and beef), but it was almost the same price as the full Soul Ramen with mushrooms, scallions, sesame, black garlic oil, and egg. The pricing didn’t feel fair for such a basic bowl.

I have eaten a lot of ramen over the years from all over the world and this is the BEST ramen I have eaten in my entire life. My wife and I are on our anniversary trip in Miami and this is the first restaurant we ended up at and it did not disappoint. We ordered spiced duck wings and pork belly bao as appetizers. The spiced duck wings were tender, umami filled and just overall delightful. The bao buns were amazing, the buns themselves were soft and had a subtle sweetness that went perfectly with the saltiness of the pork belly. (pro tip: ADD THEIR CHILI OIL ON ANYTHING) I ordered the spicy miso ramen with brisket as my choice of protein, the broth was phenomenal and the brisket melted in my mouth. My wife ordered the Ichimi ramen with chashu as her protein. Her broth practically made her cry with how good it was, it was extremely flavorful, rich and deep in its essence. The chashu was on a whole other level of tender. Lastly, the NOODLES. Their thin house made noodles were out of this world. They were soft and perfectly al dente, giving a nice chew while still being cooked to perfection. We will be coming back even though we have to catch a flight, it is completely worth it.

Highly recommend for a quick ramen stop. Quality of food is excellent so are the utensils provided. Very impressed with the food and will definitely come back for that. The place itself was beautifully designed but there was a faint smell of something weird. The tables also were a bit greasy I’m sure that could’ve been easily remedied. Great prices though.

Google
ichimi did not disappoint! we ordered the chicken gyoza & ichimi ramen with homemade noodles. the noodles had the perfect bite & texture, and came with tender pork belly. the broth was rich & flavourful - i could barely finish the bowl with all the toppings and broth! each ramen bowl was about $17 and there’s a parking garage nearby!

Google
The ramen broth was way too salty, looks pretty but flavors were off, unfortunately I didn't enjoy it at all, left half of it. Scallion pancake was way too dry, also not very good. While the place is fairly new it feels run down.

Really enjoyed my visit to Ichimi. The shrimp bao was was light, fluffy and packed with flavor. Texture and taste of the noodles were perfect and the broth was excellent. My egg came a little over cooked but it happens. On top of the great food, the service was fast. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing experience at this Japanese restaurant. I ordered the chicken dumplings and the vegetable ramen, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The ramen had a rich, deep flavor that was incredibly satisfying – you could really taste the depth of the broth and the perfect balance of ingredients. The chicken dumplings were juicy, tender, and packed with flavor – every bite was a delight! The texture was perfect, and they were incredibly fresh. Overall, the meal was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys authentic Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was top-notch too
