Ici Bistrô

"In the past, a bistro was just a popular local bar. During the 20C, however, tourism in France transformed it into its present form - a style icon of local life that is both charming and informal and a haven for traditional French cuisine. Here, it is almost as if Ici Bistrô has been moved lock, stock and barrel from Paris to Higienópolis, with its classic, well-prepared dishes using top-quality ingredients, such as steak tartare, duck confit and Tarte Tatin without unnecessary frills." - Michelin Inspector

One of my fav french bistros anywhere. Food consistently great. Service attentive snd atmosphere just like a bistro in Paris.

Extremely disappointing experience. When we arrived, we were offered bread without being told there was a charge. We accepted it, only to find out later we were charged about $4 USD per person — a surprise, especially since many restaurants offer it complimentary or at least mention the cost upfront. We ordered our food and received the wrong cooking temperature — a well-done steak instead of medium rare. To make things worse, my mother became violently ill shortly after eating and had to rush to the restroom. It was clearly food poisoning. When we raised these concerns with the manager, he shrugged his shoulders as if this was completely normal and didn’t offer any apology or solution. Between the lack of transparency, poor food quality, and total indifference from management, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not return.

Little gem nestled between Paulista, Consolação and Angélica neighborhoods. Great service, well executed French cuisine ( coq au vin was the best outside France) and with a set lunch menu of $17pp ( appetizer, main course and dessert). Good French wine from $9/glass. Loved the French music playing while we were there and their kindness in letting us dine in within 8 minutes of closing time. Only complaint...Be aware of the $5pp charge for the bread and butter brought to your table. If not refused immediately, its added to your bill. Otherwise, great bistro if you are in the area and highly recommended:))

Very nice French bistro, with traditional decor and yummy food (better than the average Parisian bistro, in fact!) I did not have the profiteroles, but they looked scrumptious. Only downside: slow service.

The restaurant is quiet, intimate and on the whole comfortable. The food is the same as the other locations. The duck was acceptable but I shan't have it again. Wife loved her sole with grapes. What really let the place down was the service. Maitre'd was welcoming but the staff were rather slow and unsmiling. I shan't visit this location again.

What a espectacular place. The food is stunning! The barbecued tuna is surreal plate and fries frog legs! Drinks are well prepared with a special house brand. Service very good and price is right for the flavors.
