For $150/night, you basically rent a beachfront apartment. It's great! Let me start off with the view -- our view was of the apartment across from us, but if you step out on the balcony (yes! the rooms come with a balcony, large one too, enough to fit five or six people without crowding and two people sitting on a chair), you can see the beach! Unfortunately, when we went in early November, the pool was closed, but it doesn't mean that you can't venture out to the white, sandy beach and take lots of pictures and walk along the water.
Now, inside the hotel, you walk into your own personal kitchen, loaded with everything you'd ever need. I'm convinced that this is out of an Ikea catalog (most things were Ikea), with the glasses, coffee cups, plates, pots/pans, microwave, cooking utensils, and a freakin' Keurig and dishwasher for god's sake! I could probably live here for a week (although the closest grocery store seems to be miles away in Cape May so I'd do takeout? haha). Then, you have a couch facing a TV with another chair and a table with a dining set-up. So cool. That's not even all of it. You walk into the bedroom and the bed is huge, facing a TV with lovely sheets and the softest pillows known to man! The bathroom was very modern, chic, and clean -- just the way I like it. Weirdly, our sink was outside of the bathroom, but that didn't really matter.
Plus, the hotel staff is super friendly. We also tried the restaurant downstairs. Wouldn't recommend it unless you're absolutely starving. The setup is very nice and has a huge beachtown vibe. We were the only group eating and the service was quite slow. I had the Caesar salad and the chicken was grilled, almost burnt. However, there aren't many places to eat without going on the highway and finding a strip mall or something, so be wary of that. Plus you have a full on kitchen so if you're down to cook, it's there for ya!
