Imagine the infamous Moulin Rouge, add a teaspoon of La Cage Aux Faux, a pinch of Studio 54, a cup of P.T.Barnum and fold in the soul of StoneWall and walk past the soaring purple palms and through the doors of Las Vegas’ newest night club, Iconic. In life, there’s the wrong way to do things, the right way to do things and then there’s the Iconic way and the result is a singular fantasy that astounds at every turn. With first rate shows erupting every hour as a retractable catwalk brings the show and singers and dancers floating across the dance floor to amazing music, to unexpected characters appearing and disappearing all night long with feathers and splashy, sexy costumes rivaling anything at The Follies Berger, oh and a man on stilts stepping over the dancers- leaving you to ask, “Did I just see that or am I drinking too much.” This is Vegas at her best! But even better. Vegas is dazzle, and Iconic is certainly that, but it’s also instantly the epicenter of Vegas’ gay community; a gathering place, a town square, even a home for the LGBT community, so it’s more than just a night club. And when you meander upstairs you find yourself in the soothing, upper-scale club-Avant where you can chat with friends or purchase a table with bottle service or take a quick break before heading down to hit the dance floor again. There’s so much more to describe, this just scratches the surface - it’s one of those places that has to be experienced to be believed!! As a young lady yelled to a friend on her iPhone, “Trust me, you’ll be blown away. leave there now and get over here!” I too yell, “Trust me, you actually will be blown away!”
