If you’re looking for a whimsical, over‑the‑top ice cream treat in Miami Beach, Icy‑N‑Spicy delivers. It’s less about a full meal, more about artistry in dessert form—with bold flavors, playful presentation, and friendly service that sets it apart from a typical parlor. FYI: it’s absolutely worth it for a specialty shake or unique ice cream flavors after a day in the sun. Be prepared to pay a premium and zero customizations (asked for no whipped cream but my request could not be accommodated).

I visited Ice-N-Spicy to try the Dubai chocolate strawberries and they were so good! The place has a fun and vibrant decoration, making it perfect for young people or anyone with a sweet tooth. They offer a variety of ice creams, milkshakes, and other desserts, so there’s plenty to choose from. Definitely a fun spot to treat yourself!

Hannah

Google
I stopped by this place tonight for a sweet treat. Marta was incredibly friendly and highly recommended their homemade Dubai chocolate bar. I’m so glad I tried it; it was one of the most filling bars I’ve ever had. The chocolate was just right—not too sweet, but definitely sweet enough. It’s definitely worth trying! 💕

Google
Icy-n-Spicy is simply amazing! The atmosphere is very welcoming and modern, with an impressive variety of flavors that please all tastes — from the most classic to the boldest. The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, the impeccable service from Tatiana. She was extremely friendly, attentive, and knew every detail about the flavors offered, giving great recommendations. It’s rare to find such warm and professional service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommend it to everyone who passes by!

Google
Nice experience, but really expensive! The ice cream and atmosphere were great, and I enjoyed trying their unique flavors. However, I was shocked at the price .I paid $25 for a Dubai chocolate milkshake and $15 for a regular milkshake which is just ridiculous. While it tasted good, it definitely wasn’t worth that much. If you’re visiting, be prepared for high prices!

Google
I expected much more from the strawberry chocolate in Dubai, and what I received was completely different from the picture. I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase. Paying $17.89 for this is simply not acceptable. If you want to avoid being ripped off, I strongly advise against visiting this place. I do not recommend it at all.

Google
We went there specially to enjoy Chocolate ice cream but due to high demand it was over. We took another equally delicious flavor. Though it was quite late in day, the girl at the shop.was sweet and helpful.

Google
First time here and absolutely loved it! Martha and Agustina are incredibly sweet and welcoming—they made the experience even better. The strawberry cheesecake is delicious, perfectly creamy with just the right touch of sweetness. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This place is Amazing !! Icy-N-Spicy has the best shakes that gives someone refreshment and sweetness on a hot Miami day. Nestled under the Carlyle This Bright colored and cute ice cream shop serves up milkshakes, premium shakes with special toppings, soft serve and more. I visited South Beach in July of 2024 and tried the Dulce De Leche premium shake and my tastebuds blasted off of earth. I'm definitely planning on visiting to try more :)

Yelp
Delicious Ice cream and delectable shakes, the shakes are $16 but they are like a meal. The service is fast and the shop is cute to take photos. The location is perfect to o for a beach walk.

Yelp
Came here randomly with my cousins for dessert after dinner. We were in the area, and their menu items looked really tempting. My cousins went in to order while I waited in the car. They came out with the cutest ice creams! The presentation was adorable--one even came with a tiny Nutella jar--and the flavors were just as impressive. I decided to try their small cotton candy ice cream. It had a delicious flavor and the portion size was just right for a small cup. Overall, it was a great dessert spot, and whenever I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and options!

Yelp
Tried the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries. Yum-my!!! I have to type more per yelp requirements so, AGAIN VERY YUM-MY!!! side note: the customers behind us ordered a cupcake with cotton candy. The cotton candy surrounded the cupcake, making it look like the cupcake was wearing a ginormous tutu . My wife said I should tell you all because she thought it was adorable

Yelp
The food/desserts are really interesting and pretty tasty. The service from the staff was friendly and it was pretty quick. The ambiance was one of a kind, so creative and colorful. Very cute to take the kids.

Lauren W.

Yelp
A must visit every time we are in Miami Beach! We've gotten the cotton candy burrito twice, it's worth the wait and the hype!
google avatar

Katelyn P.

Yelp
Hands down the best sweet spot in Miami Beach. The Dubai strawberry chocolate is my absolute favorite, and everything I've tried has been top tier. You've got to try their milkshakes and ice cream, they're made with real milk and taste incredibly fresh. If you're craving a treat that actually lives up to the hype, this is the place to go. Great service and area by the beach!
google avatar

Freen T.

Yelp
Delicious! We got the Dubai chocolate strawberries. My son got the Cookie Monster ice cream. Great nice service, sweet people. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
wow, I wish I knew about this place earlier. Great flavors, the ice cream tastes really fresh, staff was super friendly. And right on Ocean Drive so a great spot for people-watching haha. I'm a glutton for ice cream and this place hits on all cylinders! Highly recommended!
google avatar

Shanette M.

Yelp
I only went here because of Tick Toc. But i honestly don't understand the hype of this place. Yeah, the ice cream is cute, but it doesn't taste good. It melts all over you hand within 3 minutes after you purchase it. Customer service is horrible. I just think it's the Miami vibe to have wait staff be rude. the decor inside the shop is cute and great for a photo op.

Yelp
This place is BANANAS! I had seen this on some show (forgot which one) so this was in my MUST TRY places whenever I went back to Miami and now was our chance. This place specializes in out of this-world ice cream shakes and I was here for it. We stopped in around 8pm and yes, it was busy but the line moves fast. What we swallowed: *FERRER ROCHER: Was this shake as big as my head? Yes! Was it dripping down my hand as soon as I got it? Yes! Did I TRY and eat as much of this deliciousness as I can? YOU BET I DID! Although I was NOT successful, I really, REALLY did try. A HUGE milkshake with big Ferrer Rocher chunks with Pirouline straws and nuts and whipped cream and all sorts of goodness. Yes motha freakin' PLEASSSSEEEE!!! (enter angels singing) *PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE MONSTER: Bless my little daughters heart for thinking she could keep up with her Mommy. She got about 1/3 of the way through before she had to tap out (big ups for trying!). Hers was filled with full-size Reese's PB cups in her shake, as garnish and cookies as well. She had to hold it with TWO HANDS! This place is NOT for the faint of heart (although my hubby did just get a single shake and my other daughter got a single cone with rainbow sprinkles). You can easily split a specialty shake with 4-5 people, or just 1-2 if they love ice cream like we do. Yes, me and my daughter went back a couple days later.. but we just split one and it was just perfect. Get it. Try it. YOLO.
google avatar

Chelsea K.

Yelp
Cute place but the ice cream was not really sweet or good. (I even tried my kids' ice cream to make sure it wasn't just mine) I was expecting much more from this place.
google avatar

Yelp
This was such a cool spot! My fiance and I had a day to spend in Miami and saw this place while walking from the beach. The space is the coolest on the inside. There were balloons all over the ceiling and it was just so bright and colorful in here I loved it! I got a cotton candy milkshake and it was to die for! It was so sweet and filling. My fiance got a scoop of cotton candy and a scoop of birthday cake in a red velvet waffle. He enjoyed his! All of the ice cream was homemade and the server was friendly and got our treats out to us quickly. I would love to come back the next time I am in Miami to try more deliciousness!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're in Miami Beach and craving something sugary, you gotta check this spot out! It's seriously cute and a total paradise for anyone who loves ice cream. Picture this it's cozy, chill vibes all around, and the staff? so warm and welcoming. Big shoutout to the owner, who's just the sweetest! let's talk desserts. the ice cream is legit amazing! And those milkshakes they're like a party in your mouth, topped with all kinds of yumminess. But the real showstopper is the cotton candy burrito stuffed with ice cream. It's wild, it's fun, and it's seriously delicious. Plus its perfect for sharing with someone. This spot isn't just an ice cream sho it's an experience. And its perfect for instagram photos . Definitely check them out.

Lily G.

Yelp
Soft serve is amazing but the staff was rude. But I'll still come back for the soft serve even if I have to deal with rude staff. Girls here just don't want to work

Yelp
Super yummy! Great for kids. Service was nice. Perfect for pictures. My shake and water was $20

Riya B.

Yelp
The service was amazing and so was the ice cream. In fact, it was so great that we went back two days in a row. We had the Dubai Chocolate ice cream, and through people might call it over rated, this ice cream was absolutely fabulous with pistachio and kunafa. The ambiance was great. Highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
Delicious homemade ice cream with classic and inventive flavors! Perfect for an afternoon pick me up on the beach.
google avatar

Goretti M.

Yelp
such a cute little ice cream place with some of the most extravagant desserts i've ever seen! everything on the menu look mouth watering but i would definitely recommend the ferrer rocher shake!! the customer service is also amazing and it's located right near española way! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!
google avatar

Charlie E.

Yelp
Pretty good! Not the best milkshake i've had but certainly the best looking one. Nice people work there, and there is no space to eat in there besides 3 tables. Very popular. Id suggest other flavors, the fererro one is meh.

Yelp
Super cute ice cream shop to get a refreshing treat while in Miami. It was a small location but it was definitely a picture worthy place, with it's vibrant colors that pop right off your screen. The staff was also very friendly. I ordered the Cookie Monster and coffee ice cream on a red velvet waffle cone - Just what I needed on a warm day in South Beach. If you like coffee in general, you'll enjoy the smooth, milky coffee flavor.

Norman M.

Yelp
Delicious and Ariana was great! She recommended me the banana milkshake. Must try if you come to the beach
google avatar

Stevi B.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for a nice thick whip cream, and this shake hit the spot. Of course, you have to go with the specialty shakes to get the full Monty, but be prepared to drop $15 to do so. I opted for the salted caramel one with Twix and wanted so badly to finish it but had to refrain or I'd make myself sick. The shakes are a nice thickness to match the whip, perfectly topped and blended with the corresponding candies. The ladies behind the counter were helpful in guiding us to the best decision, and also let us sample a couple of the flavors before committing.
google avatar

Mel S.

Yelp
Fun, colorful, ice cream shop with lots of instagram-able walls and desserts. They are most know for their shakes, which look insanely delicious and have all the toppings and flavors you can imagine. We ordered a simple cone with the cotton candy. The strawberry sorbet was very good and refreshing and the coconut ice cream was equally amazing and delicious! It's definitely an experience ice cream shop, very vibrant and lots of picture perfect desserts. Staff was friendly and patient.
google avatar

Danielle F.

Yelp
It's Miami Beach so it may be hard to find parking but it's worth it. Ice cream is reasonably priced to be on the beach. Lots of fun things to create as well. Cotton candy burrito filled with ice cream and toppings. I had I think it's a hurricane or tornado with cotton candy and their gourmet ice cream. It was all delicious and very cute. The service was fast and friendly. Lots of photo ops here!!!

Jenna R.

Yelp
The service was good but while I was enjoying my ice cream I noticed a roach on the counter. The food was good but it has left me to question the cleanliness of this establishment.
google avatar

Carol T.

Yelp
This place is small but cute! The staff were friendly and patient. We enjoyed watching the Instagram followers counter change if you log in and follow them. The shakes were good but expensive! The cotton Candy with ice cream was fun!
google avatar

Nikki G.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere and large menu! My husband and I split a fancy Oreo shake of sorts--sorry I don't recall the actual name, but there was def Oreo in it with cookies on top too. The "whipped cream" had some thickness to it!...we think it was "fluff"? Tha main take-away is that it's overall ok but likely overhyped. The toppings were all over-the-top sweet, and then shockingly, once we actually got to the ice cream, it was so bland! How can ice cream be bland?! I guess when your toppings are SUPER sweet, then the ice cream just can't shine with it. I see lots of 5 star reviews, and several being from Elites, but I just have to disagree. The place is overall fine. But it's not amazing.
google avatar

Yelp
I was in town with a coworker for a conference and after dinner, I was craving something sweet. I had seen this place on tiktok/Instagram and was excited to find out it was nearby. The place was super cute and colorful, it made for some great photo ops. There was so much to choose for but they are definitely known for their big milkshakes so that's what I wound up getting. The staff was super nice and helpful and gave me suggestions. The milkshake was super yummy and not too pricy. If I was nearby again, I would definitely go back!

paola

Yelp
Holy tourist trap bro the prices super high in the sky for no reason the ice cream bad and it reeked of public bathrooms looks all TikTok-y too
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Stop all the palms this place after the food and wine festival on South Beach. I saw the sign that said ice cream and decided to walk in and check it out. They have ice cream and milkshakes anything you can imagine. I had a lavender ice cream on red velvet cone my friend had the red velvet milkshake very good!
google avatar

Paige S.

Yelp
We waited in line until 12 PM only to find out at 6:05 that they hadn't updated their hours online yet. They actually open at 12:30 PM. We left and grabbed lunch in the meantime. When we came back around one there was no line. There was one woman working behind the counter and helping our party of five. She was very patient with each of us, even when I requested for tasting spoons because I cannot make up my mind. One thing that created me out was when I ran into her in the restroom before they opened and she was in the bathroom for a while. She left without washing her hands. Eww. Thankfully she wore gloves when she was handling our food. And back to the ice cream... It was a little more expensive than I'm used to paying for ice cream but every bite I tasted was heavenly.
google avatar

Robin K.

Yelp
"tik tok famous" they say.... I did not see why, but to each is own. It was decorated cute. The ice cream was ok. There is an instagram followers sign that keeps up with the amount of followers it has, that was cool. Someone in our party got a milkshake that was of a generous size. They had a cool counter on the wall that kept up with actual instagram followers in real time which was neat.
google avatar

Jada H.

Yelp
This place is very cute and I can definitely see this place being very appealing for kids but as an adult I would have rather gone somewhere else. The milkshake my boyfriend ordered was so sweet he could barely finish it and those milkshakes are too expensive to be wasting. My icecream cone was good but there was nothing extraordinary about it.
google avatar

Omari D.

Yelp
With the large over-the-top serving & profile on all socials, I was expecting the place to be much bigger... Located on the corner inside The Carlyle Hotel next to Birdcage Restaurant this is definitely a "unique" experience with some crazy cool items. If you're on social media, then you've seen this spot blow up your feed... if not, it's your time to head over and make your own clip to post & share as you can go with the menu items or customize. on this trip, we came through 2 times. 1st time it was the Oreo Specialty Shake. 2nd time around was a custom Reseses Peanut Butter Cup Shake. A bit of advice... it's kid-friendly and they will go "berzerk" when they come up in here with sensory overload... (I know we did) so if you do, let them indulge, and don't act funny when you get the bill!!!! LOL... Overall, the specialty shakes were good given the toppings added. Definitely an experience to add on your trip!

Yelp
When you want a sugar rush, but you want it to look good for the 'gram. Their creations aren't just pretty; they taste delicious too! A tad on the pricey side, but good for an occasional splurge. Blue Raspberry & Strawberry Cotton Candy Cone w/ Mango & Passionfruit Sorbet w/ Gummy Bears: So much sweet fruity goodness! I felt like a big old kid eating this. The cotton candy was freshly spun and they were fine with me asking for two flavors (as seen in many of their own photos). The fruit sorbets were pretty good quality, tasting very much like the fruit. I imagine they were all natural and used a lot of the real fruit juice. So hey, this dessert is healthy, right? And the gummy bears were a fun topping. They got to float on top of the cloud of cotton candy.
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 5 stars but it's not worth it for the price. So much so that I would have give it 3 stars; however I saw the fantastic display of the cotton Candy creation that someone's child ordered and I thought "well that's something you don't see everyday." I felt like the ice cream I ordered had a banana after taste and the lady in the shop was like- no way. But I have a sensitive palette. Maybe one of the ingredients was stored next to bananas. They didn't open early the day I went and it was actually pouring raining and it's in a hotel entrance / lobby area. Cute for taking photos. I definitely took an awesome video. The gold was not worth 1 penny but to say I had it.
google avatar

Nina C.

Yelp
I stopped in here with some friends after a hot day on the beach looking for a cool way to refresh ourselves with some ice cream. I had heard of this place and it's exotic desserts, and definitely wanted to try it but today I didn't have it in me to drink an entire extravagant elaborate milkshake, and all of the corresponding calories. Although they looked awesome and super tempting on the menu, I ended up going with just a simple scoop. I tried a few different types of ice cream, they had really interesting flavors, and ended up settling on the lavender flavor. It was a rich, sweet and unique. Combine with some crunchy rainbow sprinkles. It made an awesome snack that wasn't too much. The prices were as you would expect on Miami Beach, $10 for a cup of ice cream. But it was a cute place and a very niche location and theme. I would definitely come back and try the exotic desserts.
google avatar

Kadeesha L.

Yelp
A content creators dream of an ice cream shop. Everything here is over the top, in your face, bright and colorful when it comes to the decor, menu and even presentation. Prepare to spend upwards of 13$ for one shake depending how over the top you want to go with add-ins and toppings. They have everything from peanut butter cups to Oreos birthday cake. You can also order ice cream by the scoop here as well and all the ice cream is hand made. Definitely more of a splurge/ sugar surge kid of place. I would imagine a kids birthday party would be really fun here as well. They put this thick whipped cream like topping in the shakes that taste realllly good but takes up almost half of the cup. Ended up eating more of that then the shake but it was delicious.
google avatar

Alexandra H.

Yelp
Cool refreshing place for ice cream! Definitely one of the more popular ice cream parlors in South Beach, and was super cute inside. I got 2 scoops of cake batter and cookie monster - it was great! It even got a cone on top since I got it in a cup. Perfect serving amount and looks very clean inside. I only took off a star because we walked up super excited thinking that it had outdoor seating infront, but those seats are actually for a separate restaurant. There's not really much space to actually eat the ice cream (there's a couple seats inside but it's so tight in there), so we just walked around outside with it.
google avatar

Deniece W.

Yelp
If you're a traveling Instagrammer, you'll probably love this place. It's made for buying an overpriced scoop of ice cream and taking tons of pics of it. I stopped in for a cone when some friends were visiting Miami for the first time. They really enjoyed it. The ice cream is ok, but nothing special. You can get expensive, freshly made cotton candy too.
google avatar

Megan V.

Yelp
I was craving ice cream and noticed Icy-n-Spicy on the corner along Ocean Drive so I decided to give them a try. Upon entering it had a fun vibe with lots of bright colors and neon lights. The staff were helpful and recommended the milkshakes, however I was not hungry enough for one, so I opted for a single scoop. I sampled a couple flavors and decided on the Salted Caramel in a red velvet waffle cone. The flavor was great, very caramel forward and it had a wonderful silky texture. I will say it was expensive for such a small scoop, but that's to be expected along Ocean Drive.

E L.

Yelp
Friend and I got Banana Dulce de Leche and Cotton Candy, both tasted like Ludens Cherry cough drops for some reason. $7 for the tiniest little scoop
google avatar

Ellen C.

Yelp
I thought this place was just ok. It delivered on presentation but the flavor was lacking. Dairy Queen beats this place out of the park. We ordered a Reese's shake. Total came out to be $17. While it looked beautiful and appetizing, the taste was not there. People mainly come here to take pictures of the ice cream, but I came here for the flavor. I would not go out of my way to visit this place. This is definitely a tourist spot.
google avatar

Tamara M.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! I love dessert and am allergic to dairy. Icy-N-Spicy had 4 delicious flavors for me to choose from! And yes, delicious because I could sample two flavors and it made it even harder to choose after that. Lol. I had the dairy-free dark chocolate raspberry and it was the most delicious ice cream I have had in a long time. It really was SO good! My sister had regular butter pecan and she said it was delicious too! The pecans were fresh and crunchy and you gotta love that! My partner had an Oreo shake. The shakes are all freshly made. The only thing is it is quite pricy with a shake and a cone running $20. But it is South Beach, and right on Ocean Dr so ‍. I'll definitely be back. For sure.
google avatar

Trent N.

Yelp
Cool little Instagram/TikTok milkshake shop. I thoroughly enjoyed their Instagram counter that they have on their wall. It updates in real time as you follow or unfollow their account. I ordered a $16 snickers specialty shake. I've never seen so much stuff put into a shake in my life. It was just ok. I liked the entire Snickers bar that they put in the shake. This place like most of South Beach is more of an experience than actually excellent food.
google avatar

Lisette J.

Yelp
In you're in Miami Icy-N-Spicy needs to go on your list of things to do. I Was greeted by their friendly staff who made amazing recommendations for me to try, everyone was so beautiful made and Milli was amazing. I had the cotton candy burrito with was absolutely delicious and great for a group, i tried the Nutella milkshake was which also delicious & I got the Madagascar ice cream to go that was also another great choice. I loved the vibe of Icy-N-Spicy & it was very aesthetically pleasing.
google avatar

Mike N.

Yelp
Ice cream was good, but a little pricey. We are first timers to Miami, and on a very hot day, it was nice to find this little shop.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic shakes and ice cream! I stopped here with my family after visiting the playground across the street and admiring the Ocean Drive art deco hotels. They were so friendly and made our Ferrero Rocher shake look even better than the menu photo!
