This food was so delicious! I had the loaded baked potato with sweet pork and beans and it was SOOOO good. 😋 I don't go out to eat barbecue super often, but when I have, the baked potato and nacho options were not something I usually see and they really hit the spot. Their pumpkin cobbler was also very yummy. The macaroni and cheese was also better than what I've had at other places. And the service was great!

Google
Love to try BBQ around the country and this place was surprisingly really good! I ordered the brisket coke slaw and potato salad and all were so so good. My friend ordered chicken and pork, thought they were good as well. I think some of the other reviews about speed are accurate but you have to take into account where you are. This is not a big town or a place that is consistently busy so I totally understand if it’s hard to manage the traffic if it gets busy

We loved this place !!! We have visited Bryce Canyon from Costa Rica and we also planned to come directly to this place! It was worth it, it's amazing! The place is very nice, it is really cozy. Kevin's service is the best, he really shows that he loves what he does and strives to give his best to customers! The prices are very good. And the food?? Well, it's just amazing, everything tastes great and the portion sizes are perfect! We did our best trying as many options as possible, and everything was great! ...but the Twisted Nachos are amazing! You must try the baked beans! If I had the opportunity, I would definitely come back. Recommended if you are near the place.

Google
You have to wait in line, and they take one order, prepare it, then move on to the next person. If there is a long line, you will wait a while. The food is very good. They do need more help. The eating areas hadn't been cleaned in a while, so we had to clean a table to sit at. They have some neat truck seating. When we were there, they didn't have ice in the soda machine, so you had to wait until it made some more. We had the peace cobbler with our meal, and it was okay. It was too mushy for me. I would skip that next time. We enjoyed eating here.

Google
If you’re looking for incredible barbecue, this is your place. The food is excellent and they serve it fast. I had the meat platter with brisket, coleslaw, and mac & cheese my husband had the loaded baked potato with sweet shredded pork. The owners started with a food truck which is why they are able to serve it so fast. The restaurant has several tables with two inside old truck beds. They also have lots of picnic tables outside. If you want to support local business and have a great meal, this is your spot.

Google
I drove 5 miles from Bryce Canyon City because the reviews for this place were so high. I had looked through photo menus on previous reviews and had an idea of what to get and what it would cost. They don’t have the 2 meat + 2 side plate, and with the 1 meat + 1 side (corn bread or Cole slaw) you had to pay extra to “upgrade” the side to Mac n cheese or baked beans. The lady preparing the food told me it would be x amount to upgrade the sides which was half as what she rung it up at the end. We ordered a plate with pulled pork and brisket, and paid $9 to add 1/4 brisket and ended up getting 3 pieces of brisket… and one piece of CHICKEN. we didn’t order any chicken at all, so we basically paid all the extra for barely any brisket and a piece of chicken we didn’t want. The food was okay, but not worth that price or the experience we had. Would NOT recommend.

Google
My adult daughter LOVES this restaurant and so we stopped by to check it out while there for a race. The food was excellent and the vibe is awesome. This was her fourth time and my first. She said they have amazing customer service but we didn’t see it. The girl brought us our food but forgot our drinks. There were only four tables of people in the place. She made me produce the ticket to get our drinks. The mini cups to get BBQ sauce were gone, I asked her if she had more. She said “No” and walked away with no help in having us get the sauce they offered for BBQ. Great place, they need better staff.

Google
While the National Parks are reliably beautiful, there is one other thing you can rely on when dining near a national park: 3 star food at 5 star prices. After doing a quick search near Bryce Canyon, I quickly learned that we would need to drive a few minutes a way to get some decent food. I.D.K. BBQ was a great value and incredibly tasty. We had the Mac n Cheese, a Chicken Sandwich (called the Emily), a Pulled Pork meat plate and some Pulled Pork Nachos. Everything was well made, generous, and we loved trying all three of the BBQ sauces available. The only thing that was better than the BBQ for lunch was the left over BBQ in my hotel room later that night. :) I don't write many reviews, but if you are in the Bryce Canyon area, you have to check this place out. You won't regret it.

Yelp
Hit the spot after a long day hiking! Drove out here since nothing in Bryce Canyon City was calling to us. The entrees were tasty and filling, but really writing this review on the cobbler. I think the flavor is seasonal, and was pumpkin when we were there. I'm not the biggest pumpkin fan, but it was so so yummy! The cake portion was warm and fluffy, and they mixed in the perfect amount of pumpkin. Service was a bit slow, but there were only two people prepping orders, and we came at peak dinner hours. It seemed to go faster as the crowd died down. Overall, it's a great local spot for a filling meal, and the dessert really made it for me!

Yelp
On a Saturday night, there are few options in Tropic for dinner. IDK BBQ was one of the few options and we found it busy and out of most sides. The fountain drink machine was inoperable. No ice tea. No water available. Had to go to gas station next door for drinks. The BBQ brisket was from the flat side, dry like it had been cut and sitting. The BBQ pork ribs were surprisingly good, The inside tables were dirty - had not been cleaned or wiped off. Trash cans overflowing.

Yelp
We needed some lunch after hiking all day at Bryce canyon. After doing some searching, we found highly-rated IDK BBQ. Now we are suckers for great BBQ, so we figured, why not? We got there about 1:30 pm, which we found out unfortunately, they were out of brisket. That was super disappointing, since that was one of the biggest reasons we came. When we sat down, there were directions to order using the QR code. When we ordered, online, they said they only had pulled pork and chicken left. That's what we ended up ordering, along with a soda, corn bread, and potato salad. When I got up to get my cup for soda, I noticed a larger menu that included ribs. Thankfully, they were able to replace the chicken with ribs, but i do wish the app included that option. When I went to fill mu soda, the machine was out of several options. They did refill it once informed, but I suspect that they weren't on top of it since there was only 1 person working the whole place. In terms of food, the pulled pork was solid, as were the ribs. We enjoyed the meat options immensely. The temperature hot BBQ sauce was interesting, but delicious nonetheless. The corn bread was a bit dry. The potato salad was pretty traditional. I saw some folks get mac and cheese, and it looked so good. That will be my regret that I didn't order. I think IDK BBQ is a solid option if you're near Bryce!

Yelp
Great bbq spot, and we tried the brisket sandwich (on pretzel bun) and sweet pork sandwich topped with coleslaw, pickles and jalapeños. We also got the pork ribs and mac n cheese. Smoky and Spicy Bbq sauces were available on the side, none on the meat. I found the brisket to be tasty but a tad dry, not much of the "bark" to see. Sweet pork was very good as well, nice flavors, the bbq sauces were essential for both sandwiches. The pork ribs were the best item, juicy and seasoned well and just tender enough to eat clean off the bones. Mac n cheese was great too!
google avatar

Yelp
BBQ was yummy but what impressed me most was how affordable it was about $50 for 2 sandwiches (which the toppings practically at make it a full meal) and ribs with upgraded side of mac & cheese. The Mac & cheese is worth it and the ribs were awesome - prob the best meat. Only reason not giving a 5 star is that I ordered and paid for a salad which is $1 more than a sandwich. They offered to replace it, so I chose the sandwich and had to argue that the sandwich is a lower price point to get rightfully refunded. Would have been nice to been offered a free side or dessert to make up for their mistake and definitely not fight me on the refund!

Yelp
Oh my, 5-Star alert! Probably the most memorable meal on our two-week roadtrip, and it happened in Tropic, Utah. There's a big chalkboard menu that has many offerings not on the website menu. First off: value. Meaning great food at very good prices, no tourist gouging. Sweet and Spicy Sandwich - pulled pork with jalapeños, beans and nacho cheese on an Asiago bun, so good. Brisket Meat Platter - excellent, good balance between char and softness. Cornbread was very good, coleslaw worthy. Good portion. Beans & Potato Layer - excellent flavor, potatoes were just a little too hard though Mac & Cheese - one of the best versions I've had, cheese is thick. Loved it. Burnt Ends - top your meal with these delicious pieces for $1.49. Great snacking for the next day even cold. Peach Cobbler in Waffle Cone - cobbler had small pieces of peach, not big chunks, perfect. It resembled a compote, just the way I like it. Hefty serving of vanilla ice cream. Three sauces from which to choose. Good, but they tasted somewhat similar. Great service.

Yelp
solid bbq spot near bryce canyon. we came around 6:30-7pm and there was only 1 serving of brisket left as well as pulled pork...sweet pork/chicken. The brisket was very tender and falling a part; we would have loved to have more if we came early enough. mac and cheese is solid, not grainy at all. creamy and delicious as a side. baked potato had lots of nacho cheese/other cheese/meat but would have enjoyed extra toppings such as sour cream, green onions etc to make it more complex. otherwise a cozy spot with a good amount of parking.
google avatar

Yelp
Meat was tender. House made sauce was good. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere....picnic tables inside with rock music playing. Good meal

Yelp
I ate here in 2020 and love it. Sorry it took so long to leave a review! Came her after Bryce Canyon hike. Not super duper cheap, but very delicious.

Yelp
Adorable family-owned BBQ joint near Bryce Canyon. Owners are super friendly and the food was all good. Overall, I would give 4.5 stars if possible. The star of the show was the peach cobbler with ice cream. You absolutely must get this, and I recommend in a waffle cone! We tried every meat with different dishes. 1. Pulled pork baked potato - 5 stars 2. Brisket Nachos - 4.5 stars, needed just a tiny more brisket - that was the best part! 3. 2 meat plate w/ribs and chicken - 4 stars, the brisket and pulled pork were better

Yelp
If you're in Bryce Canyon, I recommend you take a 10 min drive to Tropich and stop by. The food is great. I got the Smokey Sunrise - chicken on Parmesan bun topped with max & cheese and smoky sauce. Awesome sandwich. The max and cheese was really good too. It comes with chips. I subtracted a star due to poor customer service. My wife went in to get an item that they missed on our order. The girl at the register huffed and puffed and sighed and in the end finally got the item. It was a bother to get the item we paid for but didn't receive. Seating is nice. We sat outside on a bench and table. They also have indoor seating. I recommend you try their bbq.
google avatar

Yelp
If you can overlook the customer service the food is worth it. We had a few people on our family and each one said wow they were so rude. I got the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw! So good! It comes with a bag of chips. The pork was juice and tender not dry at all, the cole slaw was really good too it had great flavor. I ordered a corn bread and that also was really good. Everyone else In our family enjoyed their meal. Just customer service was -1 star. There was a lady in-front of us who came back and said she didn't get her Mac and cheese and they asked for receipt and she said I didn't get one. ( you have a choice to say no to a receipt but get it in case they miss something) and she went back to check previous orders and then got upset when she had to get the Mac and cheese. Same thing happened when I took my niece in because they forgot the ice cream on her dessert. She asked for a receipt and I said we said no and she rolls her eyes goes back and then grabs our container and the tells the other girl you forgot the ice cream rudely. The peach cobbler was really good definitely recommend with ice cream. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor only has like 5 tables. We sat outside In the end food is worth it and just get a receipt!

Yelp
My wife and I were in the area visiting the local national parks. Thought barbecue would be a good idea. Saw this on yelp and there were some OK reviews we went in, the place looked really nice but was like almost nonexistent. We had to scan a QR code and order on our phone still OK not too bad, when the food came, it was dry dry dry. Now myself being a barbecue aficionado could tell you that this was cooked a long time ago and it was held at too high of a temperature. I guess the most salient words I can use are "will never go there again." It's a shame when you pay good money for barbecue that is way overcooked. When the meal came, there was no napkins and no utensils when I asked where are they? They just pointed.

Yelp
IDK BBQ is super yummy. The only thing better than the food is the service. Awesome people work here. The truck bed table is adorable and a fun place to sit. I had the pulled pork sandwich on an asiago bun which I highly recommend. I don't think you can go wrong here, there are lots of combinations to choose from but if you like BBQ, you will love IDK BBQ.

Yelp
TL/DR: The meats were okay. The sides were better. The peach cobbler is not worth it. Here's what we got: - 1 Meat + 1 Side - Brisket + Cornbread ($9.99 + $1.99 for brisket): The brisket was pretty average. The cornbread was good. - 2 Meats + 2 Sides - Pulled Pork, Sweet Chicken + Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese ($15.49): My husband said the pulled pork was fine, the sweet chicken was good, the baked beans were tasty, and the mac & cheese was amazing. - Peach Cobbler ($5.99): Simply not worth it for taste and also not worth it for price. A far cry from the best BBQ I've had.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
The BBQ is the best in town. It is a small fun place, and some of the better BBQ that I've had outside of Texas.
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
I am so glad we chose this place over its neighboring restaurant. My 1 meal plate of sweet chicken plus fixings was heavenly. The servers were nice and the ambiance was spic and span cute. Great pit stop for RV travelers like us.
google avatar

Brittney H.

Yelp
Small, cute and delicious. Food was great got a George's Special and the Backyard BBQ sandwiches. They have warmed bbq sauces by the fountain drink area. Service was quick and pleasant. Highly recommend if staying near Bryce Canyon especially compared to the restaurants near the hotels. Place was very clean and smelled great.
google avatar

Blessie W.

Yelp
Idk, I must've come on an off day... My family and I were stoked to try this place as a treat whilst enjoying the views up on Bryce Canyon's lookout spots. We got: - brisket plate ($9.99): came with a side of coleslaw and cornbread. Nothing special to note here. - sweet chicken salad ($10.99): the chicken was on the drier side. - pulled pork salad ($10.99): the pulled pork wasn't as juicy as I would've liked - brisket loaded potato ($10.99): same sentiment with the brisket as the brisket plate. The potato was a-ok. - peach cobbler with ice cream ($7.48): the cake layer of the cobbler was doughy, rather uncooked :((( Don't think I'd come here again unless I was desperate. The workers were nice though :/

Yelp
I don't know what the Idk stands for in Idk BBQ (har har har), and forgot to ask, but damn, their BBQ meats are bomb! Stopped by here after hiking Bryce Canyon. Fast casual vibe and thank goodness, because we were hungry! We ordered the beef brisket, ribs, pulled pork with side of baked beans (with bacon!), cornbread, coleslaw, and potato salad. We family-styled it, so ended up being a great value. The meat was moist and succulent. The three sauces (smoky, sweet, spicy) were delicious. .Ended on the peach cobbler, which probably would have been better with ice cream, but was delicious nonetheless! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Miranda L.

Yelp
So delicious!!! She served me even when I came in 5min before closing (and even gave some extra meat that was left that day!) I got the pulled pork and cobbler and both are fantastic - perfect meal after long day of hiking :) thanks for making a hungry hiker happy!

Yelp
I would consider myself a BBQ fanatic, and I loved IDK Cafe. The interior has a few dine-in tables and is clean with well-decorated, Texas vibes. It seemed like the food was prepared already, so they pretty much just combine the plates/meals depending on your order- regardless, everything tasted fresh and it certainly made the service fast! I got the brisket sandwich, which was so tender and flavorful. They have three BBQ sauces you can help yourself to, and I wish I could've bottled up the Smokey BBQ sauce to take home. My boyfriend got the BBQ plate combo with pulled pork, which he also loved. Our least favorite parts of the meal were the sides- the coleslaw was a bit too watery and the cornbread muffin was quite dense. Mac and cheese was pretty good but not mind blowing. My biggest complaint was that they seemed to be out of many of their menu items (not sure if this was just because of the time of day we went?). They were out of the other bun "flavors", so I could only get the plain bun for my sandwich. They also ran out of nacho cheese for their nachos, which seems like a pretty important ingredient...
google avatar

Clare C.

Yelp
Wow!!! I think this is the best restaurant around Bryce Canyon National park!!!! My only complaint was the amount of time we waited in line. We waited about 45 minutes. We went on a Tuesday night around 7 pm. The parking lot had lots of available parking. There was only one worker when we got there with a line close to the door. The worker was very friendly and nice, I just felt bad for her. She was working very hard. The food was amazing though and such a great price! I ordered the chicken with 2 sides of cornbread and Mac and cheese for ~$12. A good portion of food. They had three different bbq sauces to choose from and they were all very tasty! The inside had a lot of seating which was nice and some cute decorations. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back if in town again!!

Eileen C.

Yelp
Went there on 4/8/25, it's permanently closed. We were told the next door restaurant Rustiers is now serving their menu. Disappointed that it's closed!!

Yelp
I visited IDK BBQ when camping in nearby Kodachrome Basin State Park. I enjoyed my first visit so much I made another trip into Tropic to eat there again. Yummy barbecue and a very friendly owner. Leave room for their uniquely delicious cobbler in a sugar cone dessert.
google avatar

Sylvain K.

Yelp
Pro: -delicious food -friendly service -very affordable Cons: -they run out of things, get there early -it gets super busy, get there early -slow We got there at 6:40 on a Saturday. There was about 4 couples in front of us. It took 25 minutes to order and get our food. The service is slow because the person who take your order also prepare your order. By the time we ordered they had run out of most sides. But the 2 workers were super friendly, you can see they put care in their craft, prepare your dish in front of you. The food was super good, I took 3 meats and tried BBQ Turkey. I generally find Turkey meat to be dry and boring - this was super well cooked. Price are super affordable, 3 meats and 3 sides for $16. No wonder there is a line and are seem to be sold out every day. Solid place!

Yelp
There definitely aren't very many food options in and around Bryce, but this BBQ spot is perhaps the ONLY worthwhile choice. You can order a la carte the traditional way, or choose from their set BBQ platters (1-3 meats w/ two sides; very popular option), their crazy "secret menu" (on the chalk board; mostly wild because of the nacho cheese drizzling), or their sandwiches. Their *Brisket Sandwich* on a pretzel bun was an excellent choice! Their brisket is oddly not that smoky, which is not a deal breaker since the meat was so incredibly tender and oh-so moist; seasoned thoughtfully too. They have three BBQ sauces to choose from -- spicy, sweet, and smoky. The sweet is traditional and solid. The spicy had some legitimate heat. Ordering did take a minute as we showed up just behind a rush. Workers were courteous to us, but impatient with others. The little girl working the cash register was a boss! As for parking, there are a few spots in front, but we were unlucky and had to hesitantly park next to the inn in the same sanded lot. There were no signs that said we couldn't, plus it didn't look like the inn had many patrons anyways since there were no other cars. A solid and dependable choice regardless!

Yelp
After a 3 hour horse trail ride in Bryce we were starving!! We decided to drive a few extra miles to this place & so glad we did!!! Walked in & the smell of bbq was undeniable!! Ordered the brisket with baked beans & the sweet pork with coleslaw...SO DELICIOUS!!! The staff were super friendly & the ambiance was on point!! Highly recommend for some yummy bbq!!

Yelp
I really liked this spot! I can't imagine there being a better option to go to after a long day at Bryce Canyon. The service is pretty good. I know a lot of reviews mention it getting too busy, that was not the case for us at all. We ordered right away and got our food shortly after. I ordered: Pulled pork sandwich on the regular roll. I added pickles and coleslaw to the sandwich, nice addition. The sandwich itself was solid. I chose the regular bun because it looked bigger and you know your boy can eat. I think it was a mistake because the pretzel bread looked better. Also, the guy that worked the counter told me the pulled pork was better but I tried my friend's brisket and it was superior IMO. I tried both regular and spicy bbq and they were great. (Would probably have been a 5/5 had I been recommended the brisket instead). - 4/5 overall For sides I had the potato salad and the beans. Both were the perfect choice. Potato was probably a Mayo and mustard base with a bit paprika. Beans were sweet but not too sweet. 5/5 a piece. I tried my friends mac and cheese and it was kinda bland. Glad I did not choose that. 2/5. For dessert I had the peach cobbler and really enjoyed it. Would have been perfect with a scoop of ice cream but they had run out. 4/5 (deducted a star for no ice cream). I was really looking forward to their ribs but they had ran out. Overall I enjoyed this place and the food was good. They could easily be a 5/5 with just a few adjustments. I will return next time I'm here regardless. Very solid spot.

Yelp
As the food is very limited around Bryce, this is a good option. Be prepared that it can get busy due to this fact. I visited on a random weekday around 2pm. There was only one person in front of me, but it took a semi-extended time to order and get my food. I enjoyed getting a plate with a lot of different types of BBQ and sides on it. The corn bread, beans, and potato salad was good and I enjoyed taking bites in combination with my BBQ. The coleslaw was okay, but a little dry in my opinion. The different meats were good, but some were a tad overcooked. I loved the different sauces you could grab too. If in the area, I would return here again. I also enjoyed the creativity of the dining space. There's a large wall with signatures and greetings that I enjoyed exploring and reading.

Yelp
Delicious unpretentious BBQ stop - stopped here after hike at Bryce Canyon. Hubby had the brisket combo, daughter had the pulled pork BBQ sandwich on pretzel bun and I had the loaded potato. YUMMMMY!!! Cool decor, small town vibe. Stop by!!
google avatar

Yelp
Outstanding BBQ! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this gem, which was about 15 minutes from our hotel in Bryce. The brisket was truly some of the best I've had--high quality meat that was perfectly cooked. The coleslaw was also yummy--not overly sauced. I tried my husband's baked beans and immediately regretted not ordering my own side of them. FYI--Plan to wait a while to place your order. There were about 5 groups ahead of us, but with only two people working, it was a pretty timely process. Fortunately, it's worth the wait!

Caroline S.

Yelp
First of all, just know that this is a very casual barbecue place, where you order at the counter and eat indoors on picnic benches or get takeout. It's almost comical how many things they were out of. We visited at 5:30 PM on a Saturday night at the end of September. They were out of potato salad, ribs, pulled pork, and barbecue sauce. Note this is a barbecue restaurant We ordered a baked potato with sour cream and butter. We received it with nacho cheese sauce and fried onion rings instead. We never would've ordered it that way, but it was actually very delicious and I'd get it again. I didn't care for the sweet pork sandwich, but my husband did. The barbecued beans were very good although a little too sweet for my taste and I like sweet beans. Ordered a peach cobbler and couldn't find any peaches in it. When I asked about that, they said it was the seasonal pumpkin cobbler instead. Really didn't care for it and we asked for our money back. She wasn't gracious about it when we asked and didn't ask for our credit card to refund the money. Not sure that we'll get the refund. The more that I think about it, I wouldn't eat here again. I think they need some new management.

Yelp
Yessss stop and get the brisket. I'm from the south and did not have high expectations but everything was great. We got the Mac n cheese and mixed bake beans and potato salad as well. The spicy bbq was not playing around and the smoky was perfection. The service was great as well so give this place a shot.

Yelp
Great little BBQ spot. Menu is a little tricky to understand but staff great at explaining

Yelp
Brisket, brisket, brisket. Did I mention the brisket is amazing ? If you're in the area highly recommend . They ran out of pulled pork . We shared sweet chicken and turkeys as dodo but the brisket and spicy bbq was so good.try to get there before dark drive in from Hatch. There food was so good!

Yelp
Great food and cute restaurant! My kids enjoyed writing on the wall while waiting for food too! Wish there had been kids menu option, but otherwise, great!

Yelp
Idk BBQ hit the spot. I've found myself craving their sauces specifically a few times since we've been home from our trip out west. This is a great example of a business that cares about the whole dining experience. The staff (which at our visit was one guy running the whole thing) was welcoming and kind. Enjoy a seat on an old truck bed turned into a table, and enjoy some solid barbecue.

Ordered the 2 meats (brisket and pulled pork) and 2 sides (coleslaw and white chilli) plate, only to realize that coleslaw was the wrong side choice! Tip: you can get a smaller portion of coleslaw, pickles, jalapeños as an extra for free. I should've gotten something more interesting like the Mac and Cheese or Cornbread. Coleslaw was meh, the White Chili was good. Anyway, both meats were really good! Very tender, juicy, and just the right amount of fat + smokiness. The homemade bbq sauce was also delicious! I loved that they are kept warm in self-serve pots. I'd recommend the 3 meats + 3 sides for better value and variety.

Yelp
After an almost 10 mile hike that started at sunrise, we were happy to find a place on Yelp that had at least a 4 star and lived up to expectations. The food options around Bryce Canton are severely limited. We had such a terrible dinner at the Ruby's Inn the night before. I got the 1 meat plate consisting of brisket and the potato salad. The brisket was decently cooked, but like what others have said, it lacked flavor unless you doused it with one of its three provided bbq sauces. The potato salad was amazing. I was shocked that a decently small sized peach cobbler with whip cream was only 1.99. I really enjoyed it but it was a touch sweet, but it still didn't stop me from devouring it.

Yelp
Wow. Staying at the cabin lodging across the street and wanted something quick and wasn't expecting an outstanding BBQ place in such a small town. The meats offered are Brisket, Pulled Pork, Sausage, and BB Ribs. You can select 1,2,3 meats and sides. Best brisket I've had. The Brisket and BB ribs were tender and full of flavor. The sides of Mac and Cheese, beans and cornbread were also good. For dessert had a peach cobbler served inside a waffle cone. This is a solid place if you are visiting Bryce Canyon or just passing through.

Yelp
My parents and I came here for dinner after exploring Bryce Canyon. The reviews were pretty good, but unfortunately we were not really impressed. The food was good, but the service was minimal. We ordered via a QR code, they brought out the food and told us where we could get utensils, sauces and napkins. They never came back to check on us. My dad's meat plate was missing the cornbread. My mom and I added onion straws to our sandwich and baked potato, but neither of them had them. We love BBQ, but unfortunately this is a BBQ place we will not likely be returning to.

Yelp
great vibe and energy from the kind man behind the counter. food was probably better than expected, given the area and price. I enjoyed my loaded brisket potato, and that's what matters right?

Yelp
TLDR: Awesome Mac-n-Cheese! Good BBQ Sauce. Probably after a good 4 hours in the nearby Bryce NP, ANY food will taste delicious! Unlike Zion, there aren't too many nice restaurants near Bryce. This place is about 7 miles away, but the drive honestly makes it seem so much further away, especially at night. We got there at 8:30, right ahead of the saw-the-sunset-over-Bryce crowd. We ordered the 2 meats, 2Sides and a Salad. I wish we were a bit more observant and notice the "Not-So Secret" menu... a hotdog sounded pretty good! But the sweet chicken and pulled pork were both pretty good-tasting. They were both moist, not dry at all. There wasn't much of a char flavor, but I think that is because most of the flavor is supposed to be provided by the BBQ sauces, which they generously give you. I ordered a cornbread for my side, it wasn't bad... certainly better than KFC or Popeyes. It wasn't exciting either. It was... decent! But the star of the show for me, was the mac-n-cheese. Super cheesy, not the normal American-cheese... I'm not sure what the cheese was, but it was creamy and moist and didn't have that processed American cheese taste. But the macaroni was cooked al-dente. It wasn't mushy, it had a nice chew to it. It was marvelous! I really liked it... If I had known, I would have ordered 2 sides of it. Overall, it's a good place. Very friendly staff. The place was clean and neat.

Yelp
We visited here a few years back and everything was AMAZING!!! The bbq, and the pumpkin cobbler!!! Something we've talked about for years. We went to stop in today and it looks completely closed down. We asked someone from one of the other restaurants and they said they think they were closed down for the time being but were possibly reopening under new ownership! Very good food when we are there last and hope it's the same food when they reopen.

Yelp
We had mixed reviews in our party. You order at your table which is fine. They seem put off if you go to the counter for your drinks or to order more. I know finding workers is hard so the order at your table I'm sure helps. But friendlier service would be nice. The pic shows it comes with a corn muffin, however that is only if you buy an extra item. Brisket and pork were good. Small serving of slaw. Potato w meat was a hit w our daughter. I thought the meat was tender. Simply environment w some old cars inside. 3.5/5

Yelp
EASY 5 STARS. IDK BBQ is easily the best bbq I have had in a long time. They have a "not so secret menu" with super fun combos and sandwiches. My husband and I split the smoky sunrise-- "chicken on a Parmesan bun topped with mac & cheese and smoky sauce". It was perfect. The Mac and cheese is delish. The chicken was tender and juicy. The bun was toasted. All three came together to make a truly heavenly bbq sandwich. We also got a "meat plate" with pulled pork, coleslaw, and corn bread. The pulled pork MELTED in my mouth. The coleslaw was hands down the best we have ever had. And the cornbread was moist and dense. The homemade bbq sauces were jam-packed with flavor. I can't pick a favorite between the smoky and the regular bbq. I'm just sad I can't buy bottles to take home. The vibe of the restaurant is adorable and bright and well-decorated. They have classic truck beds turned into tables/seats. The guy who took our order was kind and helpful and clearly working so hard! There is a small parking lot right out front. If you are in the Bryce Canyon or Escalante area, I highly recommend a short trek to Tropic to treat yourself to this bbq.

Yelp
Staying in Bryce to hike but the food options were very limited. We got a recommendation to try IDK BBQ. It was a 10 min drive but well worth it. It was clean, cute and the worker was very friendly. I got the brisket with Mac & Cheese and a cornbread muffin. It was delicious! ! I would definitely recommend this over Ruby's Inn. 10 min is nothing to be able to enjoy some good food.

Yelp
Did a lil day trip at Bryce and my group was starving!! We did a quick search for any place with meat and decided this was it. We were greeted by a solo cook, a sweet lady, and man does she make a mean brisket sandwich. Prices are super reasonable and I'll be back Don't forget to leave a nice tip!!
