I initially came for a blow dry with Mica before a wedding, and I was very happy with the professional, attentive service. I then decided to get my hair cut, a few months later, again with Mica, and I am delighted with the result. I have curly hair, and Mica is an expert in curly hair cutting and maintenance. She listened to my ideas and she executed them perfectly. She also gave her feedback and ideas, so it was a collaborative effort. I had lots of compliments from people the coming days after asking about where I got my hair done - and one person immediately booked Mica for next week! I look forward to coming back regularly to have my hair done. Great price, quick, efficient, friendly and professional.

I had an appointment with Mark last Thursday for highlights and it was everything you could possibly want from a hair appointment as soon as I walked through the door! I was warmly greeted, checked in and taken to my seat before being offered a range of drinks. Mark then worked his magic on my hair! His calm confidence, mixed with his expertise and know how of all things hair, enables him to offer fab advice and guidance! I'm over the moon with my hair and simply cannot recommend Idlewild enough; their attention to detail and warm friendly manner is exactly what all hair appointments should have!

I was nervous going into this appointment for a haircut and i left feeling PHENOMENAL. Genuinely the first ever salon that I have gone to and left super happy with the results done by Izzie . She was so brilliant and Im definitely going back to her for my next haircut.

I would just like to share some details of my experience of having my haircut with Kirsty at Idlewild in Witney. I went in with every intention of having my wispy fine irritating horrible hair cut into a pixie cut. However after Kirsty gave me some really sound advice we decided upon a less drastic approach and she cut my hair beautifully and one week later it’s thickened up and I couldn’t be happier this is what you want from a hairdresser is for them to give you advice and guidance when you feel that a drastic approach is the last resort. They should be the experts to tell you otherwise and Kirsty absolutely did can’t thank her enough will definitely be returning.

I had a great experience at this hairdresser's yesterday. Staff were lovely and welcoming as soon as I arrived and offered me a nice hot drink. Izzie was so lovely and a pleasure to chat with and she did an amazing job on my hair. She gave great advice on how to style it as I wanted a slightly new cut and gave me more tips on how to maintain my hair. I left feeling very satisfied with the whole experience and definitely will return again.

I love coming to this Summertown salon. I came here after years of colouring my own roots and finally decided to see a professional. Megan has been brilliant at fixing my broken hair colour and getting me back to a colour start suits my skin tone and is youthful. I get lots of compliments about my hair now, which didn’t use to happen. The salon is lovely, the service is efficient and I won’t go anywhere else now. I have finally found my perfect hairdresser and salon! Hooray! I have started to bring my daughter in for hair cuts too now. She is only 14 so we’re charged the under 18 price which is very reasonable. She is absolutely delighted with her experience too. She sees Izzie who she thinks is really lovely with her. She said yesterday that Izzie chats to her, is really friendly and gave her the exact hairstyle she wanted. I can confirm, her hair looks great and my daughter has had a boost of confidence. 100% satisfaction all round.
