Fresh food daily and family owned! Flavorful eats with creative delish plates. A must try is the tater tots and any sandwich... oh their cinnamon rolls are insanely delicious. Love this little bakery and foodie spot. Right on the road of main street through town. Perfect in winter and delightful in summer!

If you are in the mood for one of the best breakfast burritos, then this is the spot! Absolutely massive nearly 1 foot burrito with eggs, meats, melted cheese and the works! The cup in the picture for scale. The pastrys were delicious as well. I got the Blackberry Danish which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Cozy atmosphere with great service.

Newly opened Backroom is one of my all-time dinner favorites in Idyllwild. Had eaten there before for lunch but this joint recently opened with a new dinner service that completely rocks. Ate there twice over the weekend, Paul (Bar) and Stevie (Chef) completely delivered a top of the mountain menu and top-notch brews to match. Mahi Mahi fish and chips, steak, TNT calamari and the bangers-n-mash (Sauage and bashed mashed potatoes) were​ so good that this pack of Angelenos came back twice! Oh, the burger during lunch is rock solid taste fantastic on a cold winters day.

Get to talk with the owners of the shop. Nice people and very friendly. Nice ambient in a nice little town. I happen to work in a town call Hemet down the mountain approcimately 45mins from the shop. But that not going to stop me from driving up here to experience the local brew beers and the food. 1) What's on my plate? Meatloaf Grilled Cheese 5*. Cut in half perfectly good with tapatio. 2) Drinks: Brew Rebellion "John Paul Jones Chocolate Strawberry Stout" serve in cold glass 5*. Ice Caramel Late also good with the pie. 3) Bakery: Mini Apple pies 5*. I had one earlier, it was two month ago and have to come back for more beers and the pie.

A great place to relax with coffee and good food. Take the sandwiches as trail food if you are hiking! Perfection. The staff is always friendly and chat with the locals and tourists alike making a nice community feel. FYI don't be in a rush. Coffees and food orders alike take a second. Not a long time, so slow down and enjoy the atmosphere! Would be 5 stars but multiple times I've called a few hours in advance for to-go orders when I was under a time crunch and they have never been ready on time.

Best breakfast place in town. Attentive service, great selection of beer, awesome oatmeal, sandwiches & wraps.

Best bakery in California! Everything is so fresh and delicious!

Got a coffee and Carne Tots. Both were delicious. Food takes a while to come out, but it was worth the wait!
