When this place first opened, the food was a 10/10 — fresh, flavorful, and well worth the price. Unfortunately, since the change in management, the quality has gone downhill. The food is now overly salty, and the portions are noticeably smaller. I ordered again last night hoping it was just an off day before, but it was even worse. One of my meals looked like it had been eaten from, and I was also missing a coleslaw from my order. Very disappointing experience overall. I really hope they take the feedback seriously and improve. I attached photos so you can see that I ordered the exact same meal loaded both loaded chicken and this how it looked you can see that the one on the right had wayyy less chicken for it being the exact same order.

Chicken is pretty descent, well seasoned and crunchy. I like the fact that they fry it when it’s order. I would like more fries though. Wait time is around 15 mins so if you are in a hurry call and order ahead. They have a spacious sitting area.

Saddest wing & cheesecake experience in my life. Wings and fries arrived cold as if they were sitting at the store all day. Not fresh. Not even warm. The cheesecake was a joke. Looked nothing like the picture on DoorDash. Had a dark, gross looking jam dripping off it. No real whole or halved strawberries. Not sure why this place is highly rated on google or DoorDash. Disappointment. Will never order from here again. Threw everything in the garbage.

I was prepared for the other recent reviews to be wrong, but unfortunately the food is much worse than before. The fries are alright but the chicken sandwich is smaller, less crispy, and less flavorful than before. Doesn’t seem like there’s the special sauce now either. Bummer. Not bad overall for the price but don’t plan to come back

Ordered here from DoorDash late at night and wasn’t expecting much. The chicken wings were just ok (I wouldn’t get these again, the meat isn’t great quality), but the jumbo shrimp was BANGIN. Wish I would have ordered two of these. The fries were great too. Would have given 5 stars but the chicken just wasn’t giving.

Man theres a-lot of hot chicken places but this is life changing, the chicken actually has flavor!!!! Starts off sweet then it hits the soul! Peach tea is a must try! Oh and the wings are out of this world (ask for heat on the wings) 10/10 ! Tip: ask for the loaded fries !

Had their two sliders and fries combo with homemade pink lemonade! Super delicious and would recommend to anyone. Might just be the best hot chicken place I have ever been to. Service was pretty quick, too.

Have seen a couple other comments about the change of ownership. I've noticed the same thing. It's fine but the product is not at all what it used to be. Used to be one of my favorites but I think it's time to put it in the past on my list 😮‍💨 It also doesn't help that I got into an argument when I came to pick up my order once because their iPad with Chow Now wasnt working and they were wanting me to effectively double pay. Got a refund on the spot from chownow while I waited for them to remake the order and while we waited a dude came into the store asking for money and took his pants off and almost started peeing right next to us. Last part isn't exactly their fault but an argument followed by that followed by food that was only okay kinda put the nail in the coffin for me.

Their wings really are bomb. I walked by this place so many times and wanted to order, but I'm not a fried chicken Stan. Went one day and some guy was popping off at the owner, so just be known that corner of the street is a little messy. But the wings are really freakin' good. I mean when you see all the local Oldtimers dining there, it must be good. They ain't wasting their money. I wish the young transplants would support more of the local businesses in Bedstuy. Wings are excellent and different in a way. Lots of different flavors and dipping sauces. Fries are good too and price is right! I'm trying to watch my waistline but I'll be back.

Iffy's was formerly and very recently, a personal fave Tex's Chicken location. Hungry on a late night after work (as usual), I stopped in to see if this new spot had a menu that I could also enjoy. At 1030PM Iffy's was empty. The menu consists of chicken sliders, chicken strips, fries, loaded fries and sides. I ordered a hot chicken sandwich with fries. The fries were fresh and crispy and seasoned with a tasty coating. My chicken sandwich was real nice to look at with its soft brown bun, brightly spiced chicken cutlet and extra pickles as requested. It just didn't taste like much. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. The legendary chicken sandwich at Popeye's has Iffy's beat! I'll probably go back on a late night after work to try something else.

- turnover is not that fast Felt like I was waiting a long ass time - three tender meal is really hearty - second spice level is kinda spicy - spice is tempered with a nice piece of bread - environment does not encourage eating in - idk if I was hungry or if they were really good, but I dogged out those fries

This place used to be Texas Burgers & Chicken they shut down and rebranded the location and relaunched it as Iffys Hot Chicken & Wings it's a franchise and the only location in Brooklyn. The food is amazing you won't be disappointed. They have self service ordering and counter service. The ambiance is cool dope graffiti on the walls and perfect lighting. Adding to this review I'm now a weekly regular here when I'm in town.

I wanted the sauced tenders similar to what's shown in the pictures, but that wasn't directly on the menu. The chicken was hot and fresh and their house sauce was tasty.

Just popped in for some fries one day and I was surprised by how good they were! The counter service guy was nice and honest about how long the order was going to take. I want to go back and try more stuff from the menu!

Chicken was juicy and delicious. Pretty big. Service was quick . I ordered online, but it was pretty clean when I went to pick my food up. Would go again

I love this place. Some of the best chicken in Bed-Stuy! Absolutely delicious, well cooked, well breaded, and flavorful. Literally crave this place all the time lol
