"It's easy to overlook this home goods shop, which has been holding down the fort on Beverly for years. It's a little bit out-of-the-way, which makes it easy to miss, but it's absolutely worth seeking out. John Derian decoupage plates, hand-beaded scarfs from Megan Park, and slightly macabre (but gorgeous) objects, like bronze cast beetles mingle with Ige's own line of pillows and fabric calendars."

One of the best shopping experiences I've had in LA. Was warmly welcomed and patiently attended to whilst I found some exquisitely strange and wonderful gifts. Helene understands "point of difference"! She's lovely and is a thoughtful collector of beautiful and curious things - go buy your presents from here! Also shes got some amazing window display skillz.

I went there because the works of John Derian were sold there. The shop itself is so relaxing and the owner is so nice. She said that her parents are from Okinawa, which is one of the prefectures in Japan (and I'm from Japan). I spent a great time there to shop around.

Yelp
Ige is a wonderful little shop that has the most unique and wonderful gifts. I would highly recommend going here to find that special gift for that special someone.

Yelp
a step forward in the endless search for "cool". Jennifer R. told me about this little gem and she her advice was well taken. Low profile and unassuming, you might not notice Ige if you aren't looking for it. It doesn't have a sign and it doesn't boast a flashy eye catching facade. However, if you do happen to look in the window you will be pressing your nose against the glass in no time!!! There are gorgeous nick nacks of all kinds. The baby gifts are ESPECIALLY outstanding. I recommend the little wooden toys that "rock" down their little wooden ramps.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this small gift and housewares boutique while walking around Beverly Boulevard, and I was really enamored of the items they carried here: tiny carved wooden spoons and bowls, delicate dangly earrings housed in several glass cases, and a menagerie of suede animal beanbag paperweights. I love stores like Ige because shopping there feels like a treasure hunt. Perusing the table of lovely things was like being at an upscale flea market. I happily left with a Sandy Vohr leather owl paperweight (http://www.sandyvohr.com/) and a small owl-print greeting card printed on a sliver-thin piece of balsa wood.

Yelp
Love this little gem! It has a good mix of collections and owner is very friendly. I had fun shopping a perfect gift for my son here. Highly recommend for one of a kind gift!

Yelp
This was the one of many antique furniture places on the strip. This store had amazing selection just like some of the others in the area hence the similar review patterns. This is s really $$ store just like the others in the area. Well organized. What attracted me to stop was that there was a beautiful etched bottle. I love the steam punk antique theme.

Yelp
Every holiday I go by Ige to buy my Christmas, birthday, Ground Hog day, etc., gifts. Actually I don't need a reason to go, I just love going. If it isn't because of the quirky holiday windows (loved the different stuffed animals with hand-sewn bunny ears for Easter), it is for the treasures inside. Year after year, I grew tired of trying to find memorable gifts in the generic malls. Then I heard about Ige from some friends. I had thought that all independent stores had been killed by chain stores like Macy's, Target, and [fill in blank with any store you see in every mall in America]. At Ige I found pieces that were one-of-a-kind, hand made, either designed by the store's owner, Helene or by local and international artists. Helene has these amazing mobiles. I bought her chandelier and owl mobiles. My child's room now has a whimsical orange owl and my study has a romantic and quirky black chandelier. The detailing on the mobiles is astounding. These are no Chinese knock-offs. They are made with quality materials. You'll never find me in a mall again (unless I'm going to get a Hotdog on a Stick or Cinnabon...a girl's got to have her sins fed!).
