Absolutely loved Ignatius. This place was a spontaneous stop for my friends and I whole trying to find another coffee shop. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, friendly staff, and quality of the coffee. The head barista (I don't remember his name) was thoroughly entertaining and extraordinary talented. His latte art was phenomenal, and my group thoroughly enjoyed watching him make our coffees. We even took his advice on where to go for dinner (Joey K's) and was thrilled by his recommendation! If I ever return to NOLA I would most definitely come back to this coffee shop!!

Always fantastic food, and the cocktails are even better. The Sunday brunch is fantastic. The portions are not over-sized, which is a huge relief but the food is very tasty with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I have been to Ignatus several times, including when it was completely packed and was never rushed out the door. Overall great creole food and great experience to match. Warning: the cocktails are very well made and you will drink more than you realize if you are not careful.

Had the Sampler Platter, with a side of Gumbo. Red Beans, spicy good, Grawfish Etoffee, rich, Jambalaya nice and thick. Good French bread. They had been recommended by our B&B breakfast cook, but when we got there only 2 tables were occupied, but we were not disappointed. Service was good. Definitely a neighborhood place. I would go back again.

Great service and great tasting food! We came here after we were completely ignored and denied seating at Joey K's down the road by one of their rude waitresses, even though a table was available. Glad we ended up here. We loved the Jambalaya and Gumbo!

Very good! Went there as they were open later than the other Creole places that friends recommend. If you can, you should go. Very flavorful but not overly spicy. And the Lime Jalapeño soda is very addictive.

Nice large coffee shop. Fairly busy area keeps it pretty full. Coffee selection is good. They have a fun menu of coffee shop mashups of popular cocktails. The cocktails aren't great but they are fun to try and worth getting. The baristas were very helpful and accommodating. Service can get a little slow when a lot if people line up at the counter.

We ate here on the same weekend we ate at both Commander's Palace and Muriel's and I have to say that this was my favorite meal of the 3 and the cheapest! The corn crab bisque was DELICIOUS and so was the meatloaf! Happy hour was a great bargain as we paid only $10 for a great bottle of wine. Highly recommend!

Food and cocktails are amazing!! Delicious!! but why put everybody on the same bill?? It's not very nice to finish our meal while doing mathematics... Others restaurants are able to do separate bill, why it's not the same thing with you?
