My family and I typically love Ignazio’s for their grandma slices; they’re super light and fluffy and the sauce is just the right level of sweet and fresh (this coming from people that don’t typically like thick pizza). Perfection. It’s our neighborhood go-to spot! But tonight our delivery service was outstanding - we ordered a large margherita cheese pie to celebrate my sister’s engagement with “Yes” written in pepperoni. Ignazio’s delivered it as requested but after noticing that the words didn’t come out clearly on a red pie, they sent a complimentary second pie with our order with “Yes” written out clearly in pepperoni on a white pie with a kind note. We were SO touched by their thoughtfulness on this freezing cold Super Bowl Sunday that was so special to our family. Truly above & beyond customer service 🥹Thank you so much Ignazios team!

I came for a slice at opening time on Sunday. I was Initially sent away saying they needed another 25 mins. I’m glad I came back as the pepperoni slice I ordered was the tastiest pizza I’ve ever eaten, great tang to the sauce, really fresh and perfectly baked. I’d love to come back with a group in the future.

Ignazio's Pizza is amazing. Visited NYC in 2015 and loved it. Just spent Christmas in NYC & couldn’t wait to get back to Ignazio's. The base of their pizzas is perfect & the tomato sauce is incredible. Great staff & location.

Fabulous Sicilian slices. Crunch bomb crust with great chew. Crispy pepperoni and just a proper hint of sweet in the sauce. Friendly staff. Very welcoming and hospitable. Sat at the bar for a beer. Highly recommend!

Ahhh-mazing!!! We’ve been waiting our whole trip for authentic New York pizza and this place exceeded our expectations. We walked in and immediately felt the electric atmosphere with fun music and extremely friendly service and to top off the atmosphere our pizza and calzone were unforgettable!! We devoured our food and were genuinely sad when it was over. You won’t be disappointed!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hands down one of the most underrated pizza spots in New York City! Ignazio's is an absolute gem. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the pizza—wow. The sauce has that perfect tangy kick, the dough is beautifully balanced, and the cheese ties everything together into pure comfort. Honestly, I think it’s better than Joe’s Pizza. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. If you’re a true pizza lover, this place is a must-visit.

Stumbled into here on a cold, winter evening while strolling DUMBO. Didn't know what to expect, but WOW this Sicilian pizza was amazing. The sauce, perfect sauce to cheese ratio, perfect thickness(not thin but not too thick). Also, the salads( Caesar and house) were phenomenal. The house salad had the perfect ratio of olive oil to vinegar. Service was great, everything came out on a timely manner. Bonus: $12 extra charge for those with gluten intolerances which is a great accommodation for those who need to choose this option. Overall, I will definitely return again!

I thought this was place was ok at best! We stopped in on Black Friday around 2ish because my friend swore by this place while we were walking around in Dumbo. This place made me question whether or not my boyfriend had tried other pizza places before. First - service was EH. We were fortunate that as soon as we walked in and said there were 3 of us, the hostess said they're just cleaning off a table. We're not allowed to stay inside for what I assume traffic reasons so we stayed in the tiny in between door between inside and out of the restaurant. After 15 minutes, my boyfriend went in to use the restroom and nudge them and they just remembered and sat us at a table that has been empty for awhile since we were eyeing it in this in between area. When we were finally seated by the hostess after reminding her that we were there. That was really annoying because we would have been waiting all day had we not reminded this hostess we existed. It took forever for a server to even know we were sitting where we were. We finally ordered after a 20 minute wait (I'll give them grace because it did look busy) and we got a mocha latte, a beer, and a pineapple meat pizza. The pizza took ages to get but it makes sense because I want to assume they are all made to order with that wait time, but the mocha lattes and beers came fast and they were great. We got the pizza, which for the most part is American style and taste like I can make at home with the ingredients from Trader Joe's. The pizza itself was not worth the wait or the high price tag in other words. Overall, wouldn't return, as the server didn't even check on us after we got the pizza. I think the high prices come from the tourist area but man the pizza was so ok it hurt. Overall, not worth but the mocha latte isn't bad!

Visiting from LA so checking out the pizza was a must! We ordered a Cesar salad and bacon and pepperoni pizza. Everything was amazing. Also very much so shareable! Service was good and it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. The music playing was a plus! I must say I prefer NY Pizza over Chicago Pizza!

The vibe was bit weird when we arrived. We had just wanted to try their sangria. People were just kinda standing around when we walked in. We asked the guy behind the bartender what time they closed and he said 10 but a quarter to 9 everyone was locking the doors, closing the drawers and bringing everything inside. We would have just left if they said that up front. I don't think I'll be back

The smaller pie for some reason is not as thin and cheesy as the larger so I was a bit disappointed as I've had their large pies many times before but it was ok. Definitely nice to stop by in dumbo without having to wait an hour in line and it has very nice view.

Is it expensive? Slightly yes. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY. BEST PINEAPPLE PIZZA BY FAR. The sin of pineapple on pizza is what we crave for and they just do it so right. It is cash only so be aware of that. Beautiful place esp if you sit by the window to get that picturesque view of the bridge. The pizza still holds its flop after only having one slice left. Its airy crispy edge is so amazing. We got the medium to share but I swear I could've gone for the large But felt full and satisfied nonetheless. (We had a show right after and couldn't bring a box) You won't regret it.

After seeing this place on social media, we decided to give this place a try. Hubs was nervous about not being able to find a parking spot because of its location. We got really lucky that there was a space right outside the restaurant. He was really happy about that. We got here for an early dinner, so the place was empty. The restaurant is big, with the walls being an attractive shade of burgundy and having a layer of wood panels at the bottom. Fans are mounted on the upper walls, with full-length mirrors separating them. A bar is situated in the back and portraits and paintings hang from the walls as well. We ordered a caesar salad and a large pie with meatball on half the pie. Caesar salad tasted great and the pizza was great as well. We liked the fact that the crust was not floppy. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu!

This was my 1st time having NY pizza. OMG! Game changer! The crust was delicious, the marinara was perfection and it was divine. Def check this spot out!

Very good delicious pizza ever in Brooklyn. Must try A bit pricey but worth it . Only sad part is cash only ... Bathroom mirror is so high up ... like u must be over 5"2 ..

Service was great!!! Location is nice. Other than that this pizza is not worth the price at all. 3 stars because it wasn't disgusting... but for the price of 2 slices and a beer I would recommend going elsewhere.

Ignacio's a piece of my heart . Take the ferry get off at dumbo walk two blocks to amazing pizza ! Great service ! Little pricey but the view of the Brooklyn bridge is definitely worth it . Highly recommended!

Ignazio's is in a prime spot in DUMBO and has some fantastic pizza. They have two options- dine-in and take-out. Do note that take-out does do slices versus pies only but it is also cash only. It is pretty hefty at $5 a slice but the pizza is pretty damn good. Do yourself a favor and grab a slice, go to the Brooklyn Bridge Park, and enjoy yourself the little wonders of NYC.

The best food and service in the area of dumbo. I enjoy my meal and the scenery every time I come. The tex mex and the shrimp pie is one of my favorite things to order. I love how they also have great options for appetizers, and pizza toppings. Historic and cozy, I love ignazios!

Friendly staff nd pretty attentive with refilling water. We got the pizza with pepperoni, and wings bbq to share. Filling pizza, tangy tomato sauce and kinda thin crust with a crunch, crispy texture. The crust is pretty dry tho. There's two bathrooms and very spacious, an atm inside by the bathroom entrance bc theyre cash only. There's a bar area seating, but its kids friendly cause they got a changing station in the bathroom.

We had a big group of 13, including 8 rambunctious kids. Shoutout to our server, Sim, who was so patient and attentive to our group. He frequently checked in on us and did not appear to be fazed by the rowdiness of our group. We had a great time! Also must try the white pizza with prosciutto and arugula! It was so perfectly salty and delicious. And don't sleep on the meatballs, yum!

Terrible service. We ordered a single slice of cheese to go and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. We were told to pay when we get the pizza. Ten minutes go by, I didn't even see them put a pizza in. No acknowledgement of our order. Staff just looked at us and all the empty tables inside. Never got to try the pizza.

My favorite pizza spot in dumbo. The first 5-6 times I ate here the pies were beautifully thin. The last few times the dough hadn't been stretched out as much. Hope they get back to the awesome thin NY style. The sauce is unique and has a delicious oregano heavy kick.

I love Ignazio's pizza!!!! The location is on dumbo and very convenient and if you just want to pick up your pizza and then hop into the park and have a great view from the city, that's the best idea. This place is usually busy so you might need to wait if you want to eat indoors but you will not get disappointed with their pizza. You have the option to do half and a half pizzas so you can choose different toppings for your pie. My fave is the pepperoni one :)

Great pizzeria situated in Dumbo at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge, this is definitely a very happening area with a lot of foot traffic, the pizza is very good and the service is even better nothing fancy straight to the point, bring cash

The sauce was very fresh and flavorful on the original slice. The Sicilian was a bit breast and a little too thick and crispy/burnt for my taste. Overall decent pizza and in a good location

Ignazio's serves up some seriously tasty pizza. The flavor goes all the way down to the perfectly crispy crust. Plus, we scored a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge while we ate. Just be aware that it's cash only, but conveniently, they have an ATM on-site.

No, just no. This is a cash only place so be prepared or you can use the ATM machine which will charge you $3. I had a salad and meatballs the salad was mediocre at best and the meatballs were bland. No taste. It's right by the bridge so it's nice to look out but I would not go here again. We should have gone to Grimaldi's down the street. The servers were nice but they didn't understand english well.

This was the best pizza I have ever had in my entire life! Plus, the Pinot Grigio I chose was one of my favorites, as well. Definitely worth a visit. Be sure to take cash because they do not accept credit card. However, as others have mentioned, they do have an ATM in the restaurant.

Great service. Very thick crust Sicilian pizza. Ordered the fried artichoke (never had it stuffed with ricotta before). Cherry bomb with vodka was tasty and refreshing (could have used a vodka floater ). CASH ONLY. Didn't read the reviews when we stumbled upon this place. Also not on menu or told when ordering. Luckily I did have some. And there is an atm by the toilet. But sort of important bit of intel.

Went here because the line at Julianas was too long. This line was quick and we got our take out food shortly after ordering. There's a Sicilian and normal style pizza. I got a slide of pepperoni. The crust was way too flimsy and thin, I could barely hold up the pizza to eat it. The flavors were good though I did like the red sauce. Note that it's cash only.

I went for dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday on a recent Saturday night. We were able to get seated right away, which was one of the few positives about the experience. We had multiple servers in a row come over to tell us the same thing. This would have been just comical but one of the waiter/hosts said he would go get dessert for us from a neighbouring place but never did. That would have been a better use of one of the waitress's time than needlessly coming over. My friends enjoyed the food (stuffed mushrooms and a salad to start), but I thought it was all mediocre. Worst of all was the bland veggie pizza: the toppings slid immediately off when I picked up a slice. Total disappointment.

If you're ever in the area and need some food for a picnic, definitely check out this place. We ordered a pizza from them to accommodate 2-3 people. The slices weren't too thin, but not too thick either. The pineapples added a refreshing, sweet taste to the saltiness of the ham and bacon. It was very delicious.

Great place to visit. Pizza is really tasty with a nice crispy crust. Meatball appetizer was tasty too. Place is nice and service very good. We took the Bayridge ferry to dumbo so this was just a short walk from there.

If you're visiting DUMBO and in "pizza junction", don't let Juliana's and Grimaldi's be your only two options! Ignazio is an oft forgotten gem right around the corner, but has even better pizza. Their "The Pizza" offering is a crispy pie that sticks to a few simple ingredients, but does things a little different than usual. The pie has more of a breadstick type crust, so it does not have the strongest depth of flavor, but makes up for it with an outstanding crunch. The sauce is really great and possibly the best quality of their pie. It is more on the tart side, but is well complimented with the oregano and other herbs on top. It works really well and tastes complex even for a basic pie. I've tried Grimaldi's and Julianna's about thrice each, and have done the same for Ignazio's. I can definitely say Ignazio's is the strongest of the three. However, my only criticism is that they could try and be a bit more consistent, as I did bring a friend once and we were disappointed to get kind of soft, soggy pizza instead of the usual crispy pie. Or perhaps this place does slices better than pies? I'll happily get another pie soon to know! Maybe it was just a one time mistake. The inside is quite chill, they have a cute little bar as well so it's a nice place to go with friends. Service is usually pretty smooth, and the dude (was it the owner?) hanging outside and talking to folks who ordered a slice was pretty chill. Overall a very underrated place! With the new L&B opening nearby I hope folks do not overlook it even more. I try to direct tourists here from time to time when I walk past the long lines for Julianna's and Grimaldi's.

Yeah, no this place definitely deserves 5 stars. First things first - the pizza was AMAZING. Warm, soft, savory; good crunch at the crust. Highly recommend the pepperoni pizza (call me basic but it blew my mind), white pizza was also delicious; definitely recommend trying it too. We came with a big group and they helped us right away, awesome of them. The inside was cozy and clean, nice decor, simple and home-y; nothing over the top. Current yelp pictures are very accurate, it still looks like that. Definitely check this place out if you're visiting/in the area.

Popped in here for what we thought would be a quick slice and decided to get a table! Lucky for us we sat in the window seat looking at the Brooklyn Bridge. Enjoyed our appetizer and the pizza was bomb! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the DUMBO/BK area in NYC. Love the fact they offer two pie sizes and can do different types as well! If you're into it, they also are featured on the One Bite App!

First time exploring Brooklyn and chose this pizza place for lunch. Really good pizza and salads, enjoyed the Brooklyn lager. Tried The Pizza - fresh mozzarella cheese, Italian plum tomatoes, pecorino romano cheese, basil, oregano & olive oil. Really good flavor and perfect crust. Really liked the house salad as well. Good dressing and a variety of veggies. Good size portion, it could feed two. You have to get whole pies if dining in, but they do have a to go window and can get just slices. Also, they are cash only, so be prepared! But they do have an ATM. I loved the location right under the Brooklyn Bridge. The only thing that was frustrating was the waitress was really short with us, and we didn't even finish ordering. Wanted avocado with the salad but wasn't given a chance to ask. It was really weird as it wasn't busy. Besides that, I really enjoyed eating lunch here.

My husband and I had an afternoon to spend in the city before a wedding and Ignazio's was recommended for lunch before walking the Brooklyn Bridge. We were able to get an outside covered seat which was comfortable with bridge views. The service was quick and friendly and we found all our food to have good flavor. We orders a large 1/2 The Pizza and 1/2 Shrimp and a salad. Zero complaints. Check them out next time you are in the area.

Bacon avocado and tomato pizza. That's the only pizza I order each time when I come to this pizzeria. I first stumbled on this place years ago when making the journeys to try the infamous Grimaldi's around the corner and didn't want to deal with the long 3 hour wait. This time would make it a solid 10th time and the pizza choice is still as good as I remember it. With the pandemic, there's an added option of outdoor dining now and they take credit cards too instead of just cash. Service is a bit slow when getting our server's attention since they may not be used to servicing customers dining outside. This didn't overall take away from the main experience and as an added bonus, who can honestly say they could have Brooklyn pizza with a closeup view of the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO. Yup if you need pizza options after touring DUMBO and need a place to sit, come here.

Came here at 12:30pm on a Sunday. Grabbed the last table for two. Sat by the window. What pretty views of the bridge and Manhattan skyline. Until a line to enter the restaurant filled up that view. The entire two hours of our meal, we were on display, like in a zoo. Hungry onlookers were ogling us and our food, as we ate. Extremely uncomfortable. Zero enjoyment from being watched from the other side of glass. Huge detracting factor. Instead of the views, you're watching hangry faces of strangers ogling every inch of you and your food. Get here right upon opening, at noon, or prepare to wait outside in the freezing cold. The space is not big, and this being a touristy location, you'll wait a long time during peak dinning times. Service was harried. Probably understaffed. Got a large pizza--half clam special and half shrimp special. Clam special was completely bland and tasteless. Skip. As if the kitchen forgot to put anything besides the clams on this half of the pizza. The shrimp special was delicious--truly a highlight. Can't really imagine seafood on a pizza, but this combo worked well. Really delicate shrimp perfectly done oreganata style. Also got a medium white pizza with mushrooms and spinach. Tasty, delicate.

The service was good, ordered a large to go and did have to wait for around 15 minutes after ordering but pretty typical. One worker made sure to keep us updated and was very friendly. The pizza itself was just okay. Nothing special but not bad by any means. The sauce was good, wish there was more cheese but that's more of a personal preference. Large Pie was $29

Stopped here for a quick bite before going to ice skating across the street. Went to the window and got a few slices and a soda. The pizza was the Best I've had in NY so far. Crust was firm, sauce was as fresh/homemade as I've tasted yet from any pizza place in NY, and cheese was gooey. From outside this place had a family restaurant feel. They also had a bar and an outside covered seating area with plenty of lighting. Service was quick and friendly.

I dropped by late on a Sunday afternoon and sat by the bar. I had the medium tex mex pizza. I enjoyed the tangy sauce and the flavorful and slightly spicy toppings. The crust was a bit sweet, which isn't really what I prefer. Overall the food was good, but, at $33 it was definitely overpriced. The business is cash only, so make sure to be well stocked before visiting.

Ignazio's is outstanding pizza! When in NY, you must go to Brooklyn for this pizza. There are others around but this place is excellent. Family owned and operated. Perfect crust. Perfect flop. Delicious. Even Dave Portnoy reviewed them at an 8.7. They also sell by the slice if you don't want to go all in for an entire pizza.

This was my first visit to Ignazio's Pizza. It was a Wednesday at noon. I ordered a Sicilian slice and a regular cheese slice from the host/waiter THEN I took a seat at a table. Every table has a pizza holder so that's their main focus. I enjoyed my meal while listening to the slower hits from many decades. Sicilian slice was more rectangular than square but scrumptious. The cheese slice was better than Juliana's and Grimaldi's with a distinct sauce. The classic crust was crunchy. I just prefer a softer crust. Twenty percent gratuity is automatically added to the bill. Jose was awesome.

We ordered the wings and garlic bread which tasted fine. But the worst is how sneaky these guys are. There's an 18 percent surcharge for gratuity without mentioning anywhere. Please be aware avoid this place if possible. You're in dumbo. Just go somewhere else

Although the greeting wasn't the best moving forward the place has not disappointed. The lady at the door sat us right away and was ve tú friendly to which I'm grateful for considering pre our experiences at other places. We ordered two pizzas a white and the pineapple, bacon and ham pizza and they tasted great. The kids and adults devoured the pizza and we left happy and full. 10/10
