I visited IGNIV Bangkok and had high expectations. First off, the atmosphere is incredible—very chic, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The service was also flawless; the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the experience feel very premium. Visually, the food was a work of art. The presentation was stunning, and the sharing concept is quite unique. However, flavor-wise, it was a bit of a mixed bag. While the dishes were tasty, I found several of them to be a bit too salty for my palate, which overpowered the other ingredients. Considering the price point, I felt it was slightly overpriced given the execution of the food. It’s a lovely place for a special occasion because of the ambiance and service, but I expected a better balance of flavors for the cost.

Sunday brunch had been flavorful at Igniv. Needless to say, I admired the crew friendly hospitality. They made me feel at ease on this rainy day. The meal started off with those little but punchy bites, at that point, I knew something good were coming. I had the most refreshing salad today, that dish scored a 10 out of 10. The venison dish was so aromatic and tender, and I wished I could have more. The Swiss pasta (i forgot the name) was as good as the top Italian places in Thailand. It had this gnocchi like texture with a soft aromatic foam and truffle. Throughout the course, I asked for the bread a few times, it was a buttery happiness. Overall, the quality of the food was fantastic but one of the staff forgot my parking card (she didn't even scan it), so service could be improved if they wanted a second star. I will be back for the Spring menus, cheers Igniv.

Dining at IGNIV was an interesting experience, but ultimately not one that justified its price point. I visited for the Valentine’s special lunch, and while the menu was certainly creative, many of the combinations felt more experimental than enjoyable. The dishes were technically sound and thoughtfully presented, yet the flavors didn’t quite deliver the depth and cohesion I would expect from a one-Michelin-star restaurant. It was good, but not truly memorable. What stood out the most was the service, friendly, attentive, and genuinely refined, which elevated the overall experience. The elegant setting inside The St. Regis adds to the occasion, though the arrival experience was surprisingly inconvenient. Parking was difficult, there was no valet service, and being charged a parking fee after spending 10K baht on lunch felt out of place. While IGNIV shows clear ambition and craftsmanship, the overall experience didn’t fully align with the expectations set by its reputation and pricing.

Food and ambience are good but the service is not up to a Michelin star standard. Another issue that bothers us is the sharing concept. They serve multiple dishes at the same time, while each plate contains two portions of food. We have to split the food between us and to help ourselves to change spoons and folks for each dish. However, no extra plates are provided that means the flavours of the previous dish are eventually mixed with those of the following ones. The serving and sharing practice not only makes us rush through the whole meal but also greatly diminishes our enjoyment. We literally finished the 19-course dinner within 1.5 hours (including two-way travelling time)

Disappointing experience. Food is average at best. A lot of the dishes did taste similar with an overtone of acidity for most appetisers and main dishes (except the vison). Bread was not fresh and portions are ridiculously small (even for a gastronomic restaurant). The sharing plates concept does not work - each plate is barely sufficient for 1 person and the sharing makes its overly complicated and not practical. In short, everything is looking good but the taste is not there. We were really looking forward to eat there but it was definitely not worth it. There are much better places in town.

The staff were lovely and provided excellent service. The chef gave great recommendations, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food was delicious—especially the venison. The dishes were perfect for sharing. Desserts were very tasty without being overly sweet, and there was also a selection of treats to take home. I was truly impressed💗

What an amazing restaurant! Went today and had the special jay menu during the jay festival. It was absolutely delicious! You can really tell the amount of labor and dedication that goes into making the dishes. I’m so happy that they have a vegan option all year round. Will definitely be back!

My first time at the Swiss-influenced Restaurants. Great food, great Swiss wines that you can taste by glass. The combination of food and wines was memorable. The chef and Sommerlier were very nice and shared with you the detailed story of each wine.
