Where to Eat Crepes in Chicago | Eater Chicago

"Originally founded in 1998 in Sparta, Greece, Iguana Cafe relocated to Chicago in 2000 and has proudly highlighted its European roots. The all-day spot goes so far as to feature different selections of sweet and savory crepes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Savory crepes are named after European locations or cities — think the Acropolis (feta, tomato, red onion) and the Berlin (turkey, provolone, onion, avocado). Sugary dessert crepes include a spin on a cannoli with chocolate chips and the Chocolate Delight with Nutella and Oreos." - Naomi Waxman

Where to Find Savory Pancakes in Chicago | Eater Chicago

"The crepe menu at this pan-European cafe pays tribute to the great cities of Europe, from Amsterdam to Monte Carlo, and Berlin to Budapest. All contain cheese and vegetables, and some also have geographically-appropriate meat or poultry." - Aimee Levitt

The crepes and waffles are definitely what you want to try here. The salty crepes are a little under seasoned in my opinion but the sizes are very genius and filling. The lattes were also very good.

Google
Service was exceptional. Food was lackluster. Crepes were soggy and bland. Salad was standard.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Pastas, crepes, and Mac and cheese appetizer were all delicious! Highly recommend giving this place a shot!

For my first time, I was super impressed. Great service and amazing food and coffee/drinks. We all had various crepes - I had “Sparta”, it was so yum. My white mocha was really good as well. Definitely coming back.

Google
The Crepes here are fantastic! Delicious, large, and well filled so that you actually get a full meal out of it. You definitely need a knife and fork to eat it, and the dipping sauce that they put on the side is so delicious with the savory crepes. I personally loved my savory crepe, the Budapest, which has Krakus ham, provolone, spicy feta spread, tomato and green pepper. It was the perfect mix of savory and salty from the ham and feta with a little sweetness from the tomato, and it went really well with the side dipping sauce. We also got a sweet crepe, the Tempting Trio, which is filled with Nutella, banana, and strawberries and that was really delicious as well. However, I do think that the chocolate that they used inside the crêpe didn’t taste exactly like Nutella so I suspect it may be a knock off. That’s probably the only criticism I have of the dish but overall it was still quite good, well portioned, and you get a side of whipped cream, which goes well with the crêpe itself.

Google
Amazing restaurant! I am not a huge fan of crepes but omg these are honestly so good. The atmosphere is very cozy. I went with 2 friends I hadn’t seen in a while & we sat there for 3 hours. The waitress didn’t make us feel rushed at all & was still tentative which we appreciated because we knew we were there a long time. Granted there was no one waiting for us. I would highly recommend coming here for breakfast on a weekend.

Google
A lovely spot with a truly welcoming atmosphere and exceptional customer service. The staff are engaged and attentive, which really adds to the experience. Seating is well thought out and comfortable, allowing for both quiet corners and sociable spots. The coffee is rich and aromatic, and their tiramisu—served with a generous swirl of whipped cream—is simply delicious. Although the place also offers food, the ambiance brings to mind the charm and elegance of Viennese cafés. A great place to relax, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quality desert. Visited on a Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours. Highly recommended!

Google
Stopped into Iguana Cafe on Halsted and had the turkey & spinach crepe plus a house white wine—total ran about $15 before tip. Crepe was light, flavorful, with perfect melty cheese. The space is airy, bright, full of plants—really gives off that European café vibe. Staff was friendly and laid-back. Chill spot for coffee, crepes, and a glass of wine—will definitely be back!

Yelp
Stopped here for some drinks and apps. These were delicious apps. We didn't get full meals so I can't speak to this but if they put this much into their apps the main course must be awesome. Inside was so cool. I loved the art work on the walls and the set up. Would be a great place for a date. Unfortunately I was with a coworker. But I felt the pressure to fall in love with him, or at least go back to his place.

Yelp
The seafood Mac and cheese was advertised as an appetizer. It was so large I could barely finish it. It came out piping hot and was soooo savory. Each bite was of heaven but I had to save some for later. Try their pumpkin spice cappuccino! It's like a cup of coffee made from home. I'm not sure how long they'll have it for. It's very European/cafe/bar modern inside. Mood lighting always, letting in just enough sunlight on a sunny day.

Yelp
Went to Iguana Cafe today to try some new food! I was very excited about the crepes. We tried: 1. Espresso Martini - this was super nice! Very well made and I enjoyed it a lot 2. Bloody Mary - presentation on point. 3. Amsterdam Crepes - I am vegetarian so this option was nice! It had a lot of red bell pepper and tomato, and I added some mushrooms as well because I love them haha. Service was super quick! We didn't even have to wait to get a table. The ambiance of the place is very nice and cute. Felt very European.

Yelp
Lovely cozy restaurant! I'm surprised I didn't try it earlier. It might look super discreet from the outside, but you will be surprised with the amazing food and the friendly staff. Our favorite was the pesto pasta and the croissant sandwich. Will definitely come back to try more things on their menu!
google avatar

Yelp
Cannoli crepe and coffee drinks were good. Unfortunately the Caprese crepe and Amsterdam crepe were really underwhelming. The space/decor is cute and appears to have so much potential but unfortunately the food was subpar. The service was fine but sadly we didn't feel very welcome and the servers honestly looked a bit depressed. I'm sad for this place as it seems to have so much potential.

Yelp
Great spot for a casual meal! I went for lunch and it was the perfect portion and pretty good food! We started with the seafood dip and I got a sandwich. The bread and pita for the dip were fresh which was a great touch! The dip itself was good, a bit fishy tasting though. I got the Napoli sandwich and it was great! The food is also priced super reasonably compared to places in the area so it makes it an easy spot to just pop in for an easy meal. The pastas also looked very good and I'd love to go back and try a crepe for breakfast! The atmosphere is a bit dark inside and outdated but the servers and staff are so friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back, I'm excited to try breakfast!

Yelp
I have been coming here on business every year since 2017. The pastas here are generous and delicious! However, this time I decided to order the fig, beets & burrata salad and added grilled chicken. It was unfortunately a let-down -- though the chicken was well-seasoned, it was overcooked and hard. The salad, which came drizzled in balsamic, lacked sufficient dressing. I had to ask for additional dressing. My friend who ordered the smoked salmon salad enjoyed his -- I took one bite and was immediately jealous that my salad paled in comparison to his. I typically order an espresso martini with my meal every time I dine here, because in the past, it had always been good. Sadly, my martini was too creamy and lacked the punch you get from the espresso. It hardly tasted like espresso at all! At such a milky consistency, I couldn't even finish it. It was disappointing. Hopefully better luck next time!

Yelp
Went for lunch ... first time visit. The room is lovely with it's dark tones. I ordered the tomato basil soup with crumbled feta and the Amsterdam crepe with ham added. My husband ordered a bowl of the chili. The chili was very good. The tomato-basil was good but the crumbled feta was actually large chunks. The major fail was the crepe. The taste was overwhelmed by the peppers and the olives. I could not taste the Gouda or cheddar (of which there was a minimal amount). The service was okay 'though when the server saw me "deconstructing" the crepe at the end of the meal, she asked if everything was okay. When I replied that I wouldn't order this again, she just turned and walked away. Maybe I'd go back for a drink because the bar looked nice and cozy, but I wouldn't rush back for a meal.

Yelp
Iguana Cafe hands down has the best crepes in the city. If you're looking for some European flair head to Iguana!! (looking at all the girlies who vacationed in Europe this summer). I'll save you time on your order because the cannoli crepe is simply genius and transports you straight to the heart of Italy. Grab one of those and a freddo cappuccino and you are LIVING. It is truly the best dessert crepe I've ever had in my life!! Would 10/10 recommend Iguana for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Osiel B.

Yelp
I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to chef Gustavo. We all enjoyed your delicious food. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. I was very impressed with the quality of the product I received.

Yelp
Catching up on reviews, I was here quite some time ago so I don't remember details. I do remember thinking that everything about it, the space and service, etc was lovely and had wondered why I'd not been there before. We were on our way to a concert and, as we were early, decided to get a coffee. We yelped nearby places and enjoyed wonderful espressos and cappuccinos. Will definitely go back for a meal! If memory serves me, they had plenty of vegetarian/pescatarian options.

Yelp
Someone took me there 5 years ago it was very nice and I just went back the other day still excellent. I have not had a wide range of things there but this last time had a Greek Sandwich that was ultra yummy. I'm Greek and I noticed most of the customers were speaking Greek so it has to be good if that's the case. Nice quiet atmosphere.

Yelp
We were looking for savory crepes near us. Iguanas Cafe came up. We got there just as they were opening. Within a few minutes, more people came in. It has a nice European decor. We ordered the sparta with add-on smoked turkey and monte carlo crepes, americano and caramel latte. Food and service were good.

Yelp
Came here for Sunday dinner and it was a horrible experience. I came here with my good friend and we ordered a savory and sweet crepe, and we specifically requested a vegan salmon crepe (aka no milk). They messed up the salmon crepe, and when we told them, they were nice enough to make us another and took back the original. When the remake back 20 min later, it came with chipotle mayo... which also has dairy. She said screw it and skipped the meal, and I finished half of if. The sweet crepe never came out, and when we told the waitress she thought we somehow replaced the original salmon crepe for another salmon crepe? I don't know. But then when we went to pay we were charged two salmon crepes and a sweet crepe. We told them the issue, that we literally never received a sweet crepe and got a replacement savory, but they were up in arms about having to make two even though they can't follow directions. The food was ok, service horrible, we wasted so much time trying to correct the order. I would not recommend this place.

Yelp
This place is a hit. Location is a bit of a problem with very little parking but once you get in, the lights are dimmed and there is a great view of the iguana cage nestled in the upper left hand corner of the place. Ambiance is great, candles on each table and a nice classy look all around. We ordered the banana foster crepes with Nutella. Very thin made to order layers of banana and chocolate. We also ordered a latte. Both were great. Very fresh, they add lots of Nutella, a healthy serving and customer service is excellent with the staff constantly checking on tables. If you like desert and Nutella, this place is a must! Everything is made to order and you can tell the quality of ingredients is perfect. Check this place out ASAP!

Yelp
One of the best chicken Pesto sandwiches in the neighborhood. And the crepes I've had are all fantastic. Service is friendly, quick. I'm moving, and this is a place I had to have before Thanks Iguana!

Jennifer B.

Yelp
A hidden gem. Savory crepes are amazing. Great place if you want a quiet lunch with nice service.

Becca C.

Yelp
Cafe is very cute and it is great for a weekend brunch. The food is amazing! We've had a couple of things that we love there. Great food, cute cafe and great service. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Aanchal B.

Yelp
LOVE. One of my favorite dessert places in the city and was a go to spot in undergrad (right by UIC). The waffle and crepes are recommended and definitely filling! It's a good place to bring a date too because the lighting is low key and romantic. The ambience and decor is modernistic and there is an iguana cage but have never actually seen one so not sure what is up with that.... Service is a little slow but still giving five stars because the wait is worth it. I have heard the coffees give a good "taste of Europe" so will have to try that next time. Another plus is that there are outlets available and they are open late.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by early Saturday and it was pretty empty. Had their mimosas and their crepes; Zurich and Pantheon - they were yummy! Danka took care of us and was very knowledgeable of the menu. They have a nice ambiance, creative wall art and even an iguana!
google avatar

Shaji K.

Yelp
Decided to stop here for breakfast Saturday morning as it is a short distance from the metro stop. Large restaurant with almost no one inside, so easily was able to get a table for two near the window. Large menu with customizable options and add-ons. Between two people, split the Amsterdam Crepe w/spinach ($10ish) and Strawberry/Banana Waffle w/Nutella ($10ish). The crepe is a well toasted exterior, stuffed with gouda, muenster, tomatoes, peppers, and oregano. Wonderfully cheesy and plenty of tomatoes, albeit the ingredients are not mixed in well. The Belgian Waffle is also made perfectly, and topped with ripe bananas and strawberries. Nutella was an overkill for sweetness, which we used in place of the syrup provided. To drink, ordered the Iguana Special ($4) - an iced blend of espresso and coffee that was okay. Food comes out fast and the server was patient with us as we asked a few questions. Quaint spot for a relaxing breakfast/brunch.

Yelp
Iguana Cafe is an ideal Europian Cafe with cozy charm and welcoming atmosphere. Their hot chocolate is to die for! Their sweet crapes are the main reason I try to visit Iguana Cafe as much as I can. Tempting Trio is my absolute favorite! Due to large crape servings, make sure to order a light appetizer before you order a sweet crape. I have to mention that their pastas are delicious as well! Food and drink prices are more than reasonable for a place this close to downtown Chicago!! I strongly suggest you visit Iguana Cafe next time you are in the area, you will not regret it!!! PS. There is a live iguana in the built-in wall cage.

Richie R.

Yelp
It was ok! Small dinning area. Food was like the usual. Good pesto spinach pasta and tiramisu! Service was ok.

Yelp
Boooooooooooooooo! The meal I had here was the most disappointing meal I've had in quite some time. When I ordered, I'm sure I was ravenous because I ordered through Uber Eats. They had a high rating so I thought it was safe and I had really been craving some type of pasta with an alfredo and pesto-like sauce. I went with their spinach pesto pasta. Fast forward, the order comes and the dish is simply horrible - not even basic. I barely taste any alfredo or pesto sauce, even though it looks plentiful. Something in the sauce was ultra grainy and there's not even enough sauce to cover all the pasta. Sometimes ratings can be a trick with so many variables. PRO TIP: waiting to the last minute to order food is not the best bet.

Yelp
Got a chocolate craving? BROWNIE À LA MODE is the way to go!!! Warm brownie served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Cakey on the outside and gooey in the middle.
google avatar

Kate M.

Yelp
Love, love, love Iguana Café! Server Danka is always super friendly and polite and everything on the menu is good starting with beets salad or Cesar wrap and ending up with a crepe dessert with Nutella, bananas and strawberries! It's a bit quite there which makes it perfect for a date with a friend who you have not seen for a while and ready to catch up
google avatar

Yami Y.

Yelp
Iguana is my to go place when I crave for pasta. Their pastas are creamier than most places I know. Must try: Carbonara Pasta with creamy white sauce topped with provolone cheese. This is more than enough for two girls (or not lol), I highly recommend just share one and get some appetizers. By far everything I tried here was good. Super cute spot for 4 people and under, limited seatings. There's also a bar for drinks. Street parking.
google avatar

Sam N.

Yelp
I feel like this is highly under-rated. I feel like writing this in Haiku form. Then again I may not. When I just want to get away from everything and just vegg out this is my spot. That being said Its also a good first date place, a 3 date spot. I found that the staff is interested in what you want to eat. I have basically tortured them with my requests to mix up the salads and put in different items from other salads and they abide by my requests and dont give me that weird vibe like i have just asked them to sacrifice my first born son or something. My favorite is the smoked salmon AKA "lox" salad. I added the AKA. They have a chard for $5.50. For those of you winos out there you will understand that this is a good thing.

Yelp
Met some friends here while visiting the city. Love that this place is right by the blue train station. Walked in and it was empty, which surprised me with all the great reviews. But realized it was early evening on a rainy Monday. Also meant we got great service. Loved the atmosphere, this place would easily be great for a date night. I ordered the tortellini which was on special. It was delicious!!! Yummy, al debate and cheesy. It looks small, and I was hungry but I could only eat half.
google avatar

Maralyn O.

Yelp
I had the best vegetarian wrap from there. And it was about the size of my head. Didn't think I was going to be able to eat it all but I certainly did because it was so delicious. It's very conveniently located near my hair salon.
google avatar

Yelp
Lattes with a kick of alcohol, crepes with nutella, ice cream, sweets, I mean nothing but great things here. I am from Los Angeles and we don't have anything like this out here or not that I know of. I've always enjoyed lattes with alcohol and they are pretty good here. I got to taste about three different ones and they were all good. I ordered the rum chata latte and loooved it! Great place for sweets and hot drinks in cold weather!
google avatar

Christina A.

Yelp
The food was okay nothing to be excited about. Wine selection was also average. The pricing is average. However, I will say the service was great!
google avatar

Alyson K.

Yelp
If you have not yet been to Iguana, do yourself and go (or carry out). I have never had a bad meal here (when dining in or carrying out). Their menu is solid and they have something for pretty much everyone (including my very picky boyfriend). Their chili is by far the BEST chili I've ever had. It's a winter item but I wish they had it year round. Some other favorites of mine are the chicken pesto sandwich, Smoked salmon salad and their crepes are delicious. Always great service & staff. One of our favorite go-to spot for lunch and dinner.
google avatar

Helen C.

Yelp
UPDATE: We just had brunch here. They are just as fabulous for brunch as they are for dinner. The Crepes are FAN-TAS-TIC!! ... The Pasta Carbonara (without green peppers) is to die for!!! The wine is priced very well (not many places in Chicago where you can get a decent brand nice sized glass of wine for under 10 bucks). The service is consistently fantastic. I have to say that I have never had a bad experience here and I have been coming here about 12 times per year for 4 years. I highly recommend this place if you like good food, good service and good wine. Two thumbs up here!!

Yelp
So while visiting Chicago after dinner we ( group of 6 ) were debating what to have for dessert. Well we Yelped locations and found this place. Showed up to this place, as you walk in it looks very intimate, quick, low key dinner/cafe type place. We would soon find out they had more than just dinner and dessert. So we the menu showed us that they had "hot" alcoholic drinks which I have had before and have been very tasty. I ended up choosing the rum latte which was nicely soft and not to strong. We also tried their crepes which were very tasty and not too sweet. I would definitely recommend this place. Their place is not large so smaller groups would be easier to get seats but we were 6 and they were able to accommodate us. I will be back to this place whenever i am back in Chicago.

Yelp
Have you ever tried its 'Carbonara' pasta? If not, I highly recommend to you this as my life pasta ever. This is very rich creamy carbonara pasta covered by abundant cheeses. Don't worry, even though this is not like light dish as Italy's cuisine, it is not a heavy too much. This is perfectly balanced pasta with plentiful fresh ingredients such as mushroom, bacon, etc. You may fall in love with it! Waffle also very delicious if you are chocolate lover! Also, servers are all very nice! They give you comfortable moment all the time, care of you carefully, kindly, politely. You can enjoy your dish at your time. Happy moments-

Yelp
Reliably open. Hit/Miss. Stay with European Basics - i.e. hot/cold frappe, bougatsa, tomato soup. With today's coffee standards, $2.75 warm generic HOUSE BLEND COFFEE (1 refill only) is unacceptable. Have you seen Starbucks or Dunkin serve WARM COFFEE? Server was confused why I wanted HOT COFFEE, so I suggested to microwave it. Its the same cup with my lipstick on it, my guess... hot water was poured on existing coffee. SKIP the flour tasting crepes. Crepe color and feel says UNDERCOOKED. CAUTION: SUGGESTED GRATUITY on the receipt is based on TOTAL (with tax), NOT before tax!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for food in the city. What brought me in initially was the fact that they are open super late both on weekends and weekdays. The owner is usually there and is very involved. I enjoy the crepes the most. The savory crepes are all good, I particularly enjoy the Berlin and Roma and on the sweet side the strawberry banana is really good. The location in the west loop is also a cool area, not too far from Fulton market. Close to the highway and the L stop. The only downside sometimes is that if you're there with a large group, they may take a long time to get your food. Other than that, it's an awesome place. Bonus for having a real iguana!
google avatar

Yelp
Came in on a Thursday evening -- I love the hours of this place! Open late enough to grab a quick bite for dessert. I've only ever come here for dessert treats so not too much input on what the savory crepes are like, however I've always left satisfied with my sweets! This time I got the Chocolate Monkey Crepe and was not disappointed! Serving size is decent for a crepe and the price is pretty in line with what a crepe will cost you in Chicago. My friend got the Sweet Sin (apple w/ caramel + walnuts) and she was quite happy with her dish too! Overall, the ambiance of this place is great for conversation and super cozy. It's always a top choice I recommend for just grabbing dessert and chatting since we can usually find a parking spot on the street right outside (quite rare in the city!)

Yelp
That salmon champagne dish is one of the best salmon dishes i have ever had, The burger wrap is like a gourmet taco bell crunchwrap, everything here is TO DIE FOR!!

Yelp
This is my favorite place in Chicago for crepes . Sweet and savory ,delicious!!!! Every time I am in town I have to stop by and get crepe . Prices for alcohol are very low for this neighborhood. They have full bar ,as well as all types of coffee drinks . Servers Danka and Angela are very polite , always smiling and very friendly.

Yelp
Love this place! Hidden gem for sure. Delicious salads and crepes. Next time I want to try a sandwich. The coffee is incredible. The iced mocha latte is life changing, trust me. Wifi is reliable too and the waitstaff doesn't hover but are always nearby if you need something. Very friendly, relaxed neighborhood vibe. It honestly doesn't feel like you're in Chicago, it feels like a European cafe (which it is). I've gone about three times in the past week and I honestly can't get enough! Highly recommend for a weekend brunch or late afternoon boost.

Yelp
I ordered from here a few weeks ago. I accidentally ordered pickup instead of delivery. They were nice enough to self deliver the food to me and the delay caused by my fault did not impact the food quality at all. And the food was great. Thanks

Yelp
Excellent European style cafe in the West Loop. The restaurant has a very relaxed and modern artistic ambience, and was not too busy around lunch time on a Sunday. The food came fairly quickly, perhaps about ten minutes. The crepes - highly recommend! They are very fresh and they have such a wide selection. The creamy caramel creations was such a treat, you must try it if you like caramel. The Venice was also very fresh and had a distinct taste of red peppers. The Napolitan was an excellent carbonara dish, and is a good dish for sharing. They also had a special of an egg soufflé which was delicious, as there was potato on the bottom and seemed quite gourmet. Overall, very high quality food and would recommend!

Yelp
The decor is amazing. It such a cute little cafe. But upon arrival, we took the hostess a moment to sat us down. That should have been a trigger that everything else was going to be a wait. It took awhile for our crepe to come out when we ordered it the same time as our other food items. Then afterwards, the waitress too so long that we didn't even bother waiting on her to ask for our check so we just paid at the counter instead. It could have been a 4-star if their service was a bit better. I had a croissant sandwich with sausage, egg & provolone. Nothing out of the ordinary. Simple and savory. The table got a hummus plate to share and the hummus was really creamy so it was pretty good. I would recommend sharing this as an appetizer. We also had the creamy caramel creations and the dulce de leche ice cream was what made it stand out. Really good crepe just wish there was more ice cream dab on top. Can't wait to try other crepes!

Yelp
I met some friends from grade school for brunch at Iguana Cafe yesterday afternoon and we had a great experience! Each of us ordered one of their breakfast or dessert crepes & we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Coliseum breakfast crepe, which comes with eggs, spinach, provolone cheese, and tomatoes in a wheat crepe. It had great flavor without being greasy and came with a small salad of mixed greens with vinaigrette on the side. My friends got the Pantheon crepe and the Tempting Trio crepe and they enjoyed theirs as well! In reading other Yelpers' reviews prior to coming here, I would definitely agree that this restaurant/coffee shop has a European feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, giving us time to enjoy our meals and each other's company. We never felt rushed and, as a result, spent more time than we typically do catching up when we meet up to go out to eat. I think the quaint and relaxed vibe of this joint is reason alone to stop by! I would definitely recommend Iguana Cafe for a weekend brunch or lunch with friends. They have a wide variety of fare on their menu, their drink menu provides something for everyone, and they take reservations. I hope to be back with friends sometime soon!

Yelp
A build-your-own-crepe and the chocolate monkey (Nutella and banana crepe!) was my go-to weekend treat for several years. Unfortunately, we've now moved away from Chicago, but I still fantasize about Iguana's stuffed crepes that are as big as my head. Don't walk -- run to this place and thank me later. P.S. Iguana, if you ever find a way to deliver to San Diego, I'll be your first customer!

Yelp
What a great cafe!!! This was my first stop coming from O'hare to downtown Chicago. Service started off kind of slow at first. I probably sat around for 15-20minutes before a waiter came up to me to take my order. I wasn't too mad about it but I might have when I realized how good the food was. I just wanted to eat some kind of lunch quickly before continuing on to downtown Chicago but I ended up staying here for 2 hours! I ordered a white mocha latte, carbonara pasta, and the "Tempting Trio" crepe (nutella, banana, strawberries). Let's just say the portions are more than welcoming for its price. I had leftovers from the carbonara pasta and I would have had leftovers from the crepe too but I finished that with pride. There's alot of variety to the menu and I hope to come back one day and try more things!

Yelp
Best bang for your buck! Great menu with quality food. Nice size servings and the service is great. Consistent quality of food! Their wraps are amazing! They have delicious crepes and European coffee. It's a great local gem! Support local!

Yelp
One of my fav cafes for coffee and/or food! Iguana cafe is located in river west area of downtown chicago and definitely offers a "taste of Europe" as they claim. I've tried their raspberry mocha, Nutella crepe, and jalapeño cheese dip and all items have been delicious and leaving me wanting more. All items are reasonably priced which is a plus. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu as the pasta dishes sound phenomenal! It does get quite busy during lunch hours, however, if you come in the morning or after lunch- there's tons of spots and availability. Lots of outlets as well and the wifi works great. I know some of the reviews say it's more of a sit down restaurant - which I agree, but the laid back vibe makes it a cool spot to get work done at as well. Another big plus is the hours!!! They are open 7 am - 12 am which is unlike most coffee shops and they have a full bar so it definitely offers the best of both worlds.
