The owners Tom and Jorge are crazy nice. They are always so happy to see my pup Beau and the store itself has so many unique and affordable gifts, cards, jewelry, home furnishings, etc. Whenever I think I’ve seen everything in the store, I find another treasure.

This wonderful store has been around for a long time... for good reason, it's a wonderful store for all kinds of fun, whimsical, stylish gifts and home embellishments. Anytime I've bought anything here for my wife, family, friends or the home it always brought great, lasting pleasure...

I was out walking and came upon this store and I love it! The owner was so nice and helpful. We purchased some delightful candles and incense. I’ll go back! Lots of fun gifts, home decor, furniture, rugs, on and on. Each room just takes you someplace new.

Absolutely love this store. Unique, fun, beautiful, unusual items from all over the world. I've bought several things here. They also make their own candles and you can order the scent and color you want if they don't have what you want.

I love Iguana not only for the beautiful textures and diverse items for gifts and the home, but also the owners Tom and Jorge are so wonderful!! They have done custom candle orders for me for years; their candles are made by Robert and are exclusive to Iguana and they are the BEST-smelling, longest-lasting, vibrant-hued, dripless candles I have ever bought in my life, and I'm a candle-fanatic, so I know my candles!! They have even custom-made huge amounts of custom colors -like teal and sage ;)!! - of the candles for me for bridal showers and holidays and they let me custom choose my scent that I wanted for them! And the candles are SO reasonable, I would never go anywhere else. Then while I am there buying my huge quantity of pillar candles, I always find something unique and lovely that I cannot resist for a gift or for myself ;).

Such a cute little shop! I accidentally stumbled upon this place! We were waiting for a table at The Attic and found this place right across the street. Which I'm sure, is how many find this place. Walked in and we were greeted right away. I believe it was the owner of the store. We looked around and saw sage, healing crystals, chakra related items, and beautiful wood pieces. There was a huuuge turtle hand crafted out of wood and some dolphins! How cool is that? There were candles, bracelets and even clothes. This store had a lot of things! I was surprised by all the different items that were there. IT smelt so great inside, probably due the soaps and candles. The water fountain right when you walk in is adorable and sets the tone for a relaxing/ zen experience.

Right across from The Attic, this little store, just blocks from the beach, should be on everyone's go to when visiting Long Beach. From cleansing sage and scented candles to antique jewelry, one-of-a-kind beach chairs and dressers, Iguana Imports has something for every body and every budget. Handpicked by the owner he'll tell you the background and history, and the where and how he came across it of anything that catches your eye. So many of the pieces are as visually interesting as they are tactilely so, things you want to pick up and touch. You wouldn't necessarily expect a shop like this to be (big) dog friendly, but they are (very actually), so stop in after brunch, you won't be disappointed.

The service is great and it's the cutest little shop on broadway. They have furniture, sage, home decor and much more! If you love crystals I'd check this spot out as well.

I love love, love, love, love love love destroy so much they have everything that you can ever need to buy a gift at all price points. I think they're super reasonable for what you get and the guys are always really nice. They have a lot of unique gifts as well. Lotta cool jewelry reasonably priced.

So many unique and lovely treasures here!!! I saw a furniture set that was love at first sight...although I didn't buy the set, I'm so inspired by their interior decor. I ended up buying a pair of earrings, a dress, and a decoration--I had to budget myself before I spent all my paycheck though and cashed out lol. I highly recommend this shop! The owner and shop dog are super friendly. Come check them out!

amazing shop.... i was walking by and saw some peruvian items by the glass window (i'm peruvian) went in and chatted with the owner super nice guy. but looking around the store... so many great pieces and the prices reasonable as well. going back soon to get an alpaca sweater :)

Hands down, my favorite store of all time. I know that's a big statement but truly this store is incredible. The space is so unique with all kinds of eclectic worldly, one of a kind treasures! A perfect place to find a gift for a friend (or yourself lol) with items ranging from jewelry, textiles, crystals, art, sculptures, incense, home decor, clothing and of course their incredible selection of hand-made candles. The owner and staff are always so kind, welcoming and accommodating. Prices are totally reasonable, too! Highly recommended place to drop by and enjoy!

11-22-20: During a walk in the neighborhood, I noticed this shop from the sidewalk display and saw they had a bunch of cool Dia De Los Muertos Items and random cool gifts...reminded me of my fav spots down in Old Town San Diego. Walked into the shop and browsed around...finding all sorts of cool stuff to buy but limited myself to two items giving the long walk back. Will stop back next time in the hood.

Iguana has a lot of cutesy gifts, cards, apparel, jewelry and home goods. Perfect place to get unique gifts or a gift for yourself. Every time I'm there, I always find something I can use or give as gifts.

This store has a very calming presence the moment you walk in. I was greeted by Tom who was extremely helpful and kind to me through my entire shopping experience. He was very personable and friendly as well. I wish I had more time to really explore the store, because it is filled with beautiful crystals, candles, incense and all of your spiritual needs. I am looking forward to returning to Iguana to purchase other things I might've missed during my first visit.

UPDATE: I called to ask for the owner and he basically said he didn't know what to do. Excuse me? You destroy someone's property and say there's nothing you can do?! How stupid can one man be? So I went to try on a dress and there was basically a tiny room with almost no light and no where to put anything other than a small sink. The sink was filled with water and I couldn't tell because of the low light. The dress I was trying on got soaked as well and my shirt and my bag. The guy didn't even care. Horrible customer service.

This is one of my fave places in Long Beach. They have so many unique one of a kind gifts. The owners are some of the nicest people in Long Beach. Handmade candles, jewelry, unique furniture.

Whenever I have brunch at the Attic I always pop in to this happy place. The woven blankets are a must. I've taken to giving them as gifts to practically everyone I know. The incense are beautifully scented and there are tons of other bohemian home decor. I recommend this place to anyone looking for something different to decorate their home or a unique gift idea.

I walked in as i was waiting to be seated at "the attic" next door. From the outside i didn't think i would like anything in here or if i did it would be waaay over priced but i was wrong. This store has so many cook nick knacks that you wouldst find at any other retail store. The two gentleman working there were super polite and helpful. I also learned that for the Christmas holiday they apparently wrap your items for you! If you are in the neighborhood this is definitely a store with checking out.

This place has a variety of beautiful things from different countries..clothes, throes, candles, jewelry, and a variety of different knick knacks..all very beautiful to see.. The owners are very friendly, attentive and sweet! If you haven't been here, I highly recommend you check it out, you will thank me later..

Love this store. I walked in and was immediately taken in by the atmosphere and the wide variety of items. Each has a story to tell. One of the owners (Tom) was there. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Willing to leave me alone to browse but available and eager to discuss items when I had questions. I purchased a couple of gifts and some items for my home. I do plan to return.

Iguana Imports is chock full of beautiful things and I buy a ton of candles there. The very nice owners make them in the store in many colors, scents and sizes. They are so reasonable and burn beautifully! Go check out the diversity of the merchandise. It's like a department store for imports!

I love this store it's amazing. The customer service is excellent. They take the time to explain the items their origin and give meanings if applicable. It will be my go to store for special gifts from now on. Also when I can splurge for myself. I could spend hours and lots of money here if I had it.

They have items ranging from very inexpensive to quite pricey, and everything in between. Walking to breakfast, we saw the cutest little shop I had to go in. You could instantly feel the energy shift from the busy loud street to a wholesome, zen and abundant space. We found many items to cherish (Bilingual childrens books, singing bowls, custom jewelry, oils, cards) everything in this store is intention based and I was so grateful to have found it. Thank you Jorge for welcoming us into your space graciously and creating such a special store I intend to visit again and again!

Honestly can't believe what happened when I went to Iguana. It's my Day off and I decided to check out the stores here on Broadway because I'm new to Long Beach. The Owner looked at me and greeted me as anyone would, but the moment I started looking at items I could feel him watching me. I turned around to walk to another room and there he was.. watching me. Went to the furniture section to look at rugs and there he was WATCHING ME. Then I look at other blankets and I could hear his stomping behind me and I turned around to see him pretending to fold stuff and continue to WATCH ME. Keep in mind there were other shoppers too (who were white) but I guess being the only visible Latino automatically makes me suspicious. It really ruined my first experience here.. I was so uncomfortable that I just left. Their stuff is nice but I guess I won't recommend this store to anyone if you want to support racism. I scrolled down to read a review that was left 5 years ago and it was exactly the same experience as mine. I guess if you're a POC DO NOT come here if you want to be racially profiled. Can't believe it. IN LONG BEACH!! Go to WorldMarket instead.

Iguana is my favorite store in Long Beach to shop for gifts and decorations for my home. The furniture is beautiful, it is pricey, but the quality is excellent. The jewelery is to die for! LOVE it! This is the perfect place to find unique signature pieces for yourself. And what is great is that many of the jewelry pieces are made by local artists. The Mexican folk art is great! They have a HUGE selection of incense. The candles are wonderful. I always go to Iguana when I need to purchase a gift for a friend, they gift box your purchases for free! I can keep talking about Iguana forever. It is such a relaxing place to shop, the owners and everyone that works there make you feel like a friend. Great place!

A wonderful store full of the many types of imports I've enjoyed and often collected over the years -- Talavera ceramics, Oaxacan animal figures, little African stone animals, Turkish lamps, dreamcatchers and much more, including furniture, spread over several rooms. I really like almost everything they have in the store.

Ok THIS is the place to go for Authentic real incense! They carry a huge array of home decor, salt rocks, clothes, (mostly furniture). Just super impressed with the incense selection

I love Iguana's! They have wonderful and unique gifts, crafts, candles , home decor & more! And they will even gift wrap your small items.. the owners are wonderful , knowledgeable, and so friendly! A real locals place!

You know that friend of yours? You know, the one who's into Mexican culture and kitsch, is a hippie, loves art, and is a Buddhist? And you know how it's always so difficult to shop for them? Well, Iguana Import Gallery has all of the loteria cards, incense, patchouli, hand painted greeting cards, and Buddha statues you... er...I mean...your friend can handle. They've got just about EVERYTHING here. Having driven by this place a million times I had absolutely no idea how insanely large this store is. It's huge. And not only do they carry chotkes and doodads, they care loads of clothes and furniture. Everything from folkloriko type dresses, to all organic dyed tunics, to lucha libre masks. The price is a smidge high, but the excellent selection and superb service make up for it...even if you will leave the store smelling like a patchouli-soaked hippie the rest of the day.

I was looking for some Mexican mercado mesh bags with Frida Kahlo & Day of the Dead printed on the bags, and low and behold I found the bags at Iguana's. I couldn't believe it. I was looking online for these bags and even considered Olvera Street, but I found them at Iguana's for a lot less than what I found online. Man, I was so happy and impressed to have found these bags here. Iguana Imports is great. They sell everything from folk art, incense, candles, dia de los muertos escaletos to Mexican folk art. You will find some interesting gift and art items. Clothes, furniture, Tibetan flags, Buddhist/Hindhu statues/books to fun birthday cards. This is a fantastic store. Think Cost Plus imports, only better, but without the wine and food items. Plus, Iguana's is more eclectic and more ethnic, and hipper than Cost Plus. Iguana's is my favorite new store to shop for gifts, or to shop just for me.

Had a gift card, $535 on it. Said they could not take it and do not except it any longer because they did not renew the contract with the gift card company. Said there is no way to find out what my balance would be. BS, I went online to the gift card website and there it was my balance in black and white. So what? That means everybody who had a gift card is up sh@$ creek? I will never give this place my money again. I think they took enough of it, and for what, absolutely nothing!! Thieves!

Need a crucifix? A statue of Buddah? Both? Then this is your store! Need a sofa? A new bracelet? Both? Yep, this is your store? Birthday Card? Water fountain? Bench for your garden? Painting for your wall? New Blouse? Incense? Watch? Children's book? Lucky rock? Picture frame? Tampons? Okay I lied about the last one, just wanted to see if you were paying attention. You catch my drift on this potpourri of a store? They have a little of everything. I'm not sure if they have potpourri though. Hmm. Well they have a butt load of candles though so forget the incense, get a candle. And a candle holder while your at it. Get some dishes too. And a picnic basket. You need these things, don't you? I do. I go in and think to myself "I need gigantic vase the size of my leg?" Of course I do. Who doesn't. This is a fun place to get cards and gifts as well as, well all the crap above. The guys that work here, I'm assuming are the owners, are VERY nice guys and leave you alone while you shop.

Lemme tell you something about these guys who run this shop...(and local shop owners take note) THEY UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE - Everytime I walk in, I'm greeted within seconds. (5 Stars there) - They ask me if I'm looking for something in particular, and if not, they let me wander through the store (5 stars) - They treat everyone equally regardless of what you look like, they welcome you into their establishment with open arms (5 stars) - When looking for something specific that they might not have, they take your info, and ACTUALLY call you when it comes in (17 stars if it were possible) - The biggest compliment they give to a customer is acknowledgement. There's no clerk on their cell phone texting, and personal conversations pause to say hello. (47 stars!) What sets them apart from the rest of the specialty shops in that area, is that they're always friendly. They don't treat you like you're doing THEM a favor by shopping in their shop. They're very considerate and want to help you have a pleasurable experience. They come HIGHLY recommended!

Just thinking about Iguana puts me in a state of bliss. When I close my eyes I can almost smell it... the incense and soy candles that I can't live without. Yum! It's not just the candles and incense, though. Iguana has handcrafted knick knacks and decor, hand carved furniture, beautiful ethnic frocks, leather goods, handmade jewelry and more, all with a Latin influence. Beauty is in every corner and shelf! I love my neighborhood. We're so lucky to have so many great boutiques and shops within walking distance. Iguana is my favorite.
