IHOP

Popped in her after the Formula One weekend. Seen it advertised/featured/referenced in so many tv shows and films we had to experience it. Friendly service from the moment we walked in . Food was tasty, hit and generous. Best bit was the server who unprompted topped my coffee up. I felt truly American in that moment.

I had a wonderful experience. Diamond was a great server. She was quick efficient and so kind. And ordering was quick. Food was out in a timely manner and everything was fresh!!! IHOP has definitely stepped up their game on customer service and food quality!

Princess was absolutely wonderful best ihop server I’ve had by far! She was so sweet and attentive! She brought us everything we needed and then some our food! I’ll definitely be back and would love to have princess as my waitress again!

The food was delicious, hot and fresh. The wait wasnt long at all either which was nice. Our waitress Princess was so sweet, very attentive, she checked on us just enough throughout our dinner to be attentive but not too bothersome - literally a perfect waitress. She even had the forethought to bring hot sauce with our plates and drink refills as soon as she saw we were low. Pay that woman more! Her dedication and good energy is worth every dime.

Miranda was absolutely incredible and easily one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with such a warm and welcoming attitude that it immediately set the tone for a great experience. She was extremely friendly, professional, and made us feel like we were genuinely valued guests rather than just another table. Her energy was positive the entire time and she made the whole meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. She was also unbelievably attentive. Our drinks were always refilled before we even had to ask, and she checked in on us at the perfect moments to make sure everything tasted good and that we had everything we needed. The timing of everything was perfect — food came out quickly, plates were cleared smoothly, and she never let anything slip through the cracks. It honestly felt like she had the whole restaurant running perfectly while still making every table feel taken care of. What really stood out was how much she seemed to care about giving great service. She was patient when we had questions, gave helpful suggestions, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Her attitude never changed the whole time — she stayed upbeat, kind, and professional even while clearly working hard and staying busy. That kind of consistency is rare and it really shows how good she is at what she does. Miranda also had a great personality that made the whole experience even better. She was easy to talk to, had a great sense of humor, and made the table feel comfortable without ever being over the top. It’s obvious she takes pride in her job and genuinely enjoys making sure people have a great time at the restaurant. Because of her service, the entire dining experience felt smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. Great food is important, but amazing service like Miranda’s is what really makes a place stand out, and she absolutely delivered. If you ever have the chance to be served by Miranda, you’re in fantastic hands. She went above and beyond in every way and deserves major recognition for the effort and care she puts into her work. Truly outstanding service from start to finish. Easily a five-star experience and one of the best examples of great hospitality I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you, Miranda!

Ingris was a good server I had a great experience at IHOP. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. My food came out hot and everything tasted really good. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I would definitely come back again.

IHOP is always a great option if you don’t want to take risks trying a new restaurant or feel overwhelmed by the amount of restaurants nearby. Great coffee, amazing and fluffy pancakes, and the food is good. I prefer to always have breakfast.

Out on a early " walking for exercise" in downtown Austin and took the opportunity to grab a bite at this location. While visually not qualifying as old school,the ages of some of these places are getting up there. Make your way past the morning rush of traffic and street people and youl find your typical IHOP. I chose to do something today I'd never done before. Eat off of the 55+ menu. Portions are smaller and the price can't be beat. For $8 I got 2 pancakes,a sausage, bacon and two scrambled eggs. Add coffee and tip for a grand total of $12. I would definitely do this again.

Got food poisoning lol. Very sweet hostess told there was a "new cook" when she handed me my food because it was prepared strangely according to her (couldn't wrap a burrito? Lol) Anyway, tasted about as mid as you'd expect from iHop. 2 hours later was regretting my decision. Won't be back.

Went this morning and a nasty nasty manager refused to let me substitute hashbrowns for extra bacons (I have a food allergy). She said it was "illegal." I told her all other IHOPs do and that IHOP had always done it too. She told me no. So I got in the car, drove 6 miles down the freeway to the next IHOP where they had no issues doing the substitution. Guess it wasnt actually "illegal." LOL.

It's ihop, it's fine. While not exactly fine dining, the food is edible. Stick to the pancakes and you'll be okay.

Late night eats weren't so hot...literally. Came in around 11:30pm on a Wed night and only one person working the floor and looked to be one cook as well. Upon arrival two tables ahead of us and three more came after. Food was delayed to say the least and ran out of coffee several times. The coffee and hot water for tea were the only hot items. All of the food was cold, even the pancakes! Come on man..::they offered to microwave to warm stuff up and we obliged but did little to help. Overall disappointing IHOP experience and seeing the short staff probably impacted this more than one person.

Okay, so this visit was unexpected. I'm fact, the plan was for midnight pancakes at Kerbey Lane. However, they couldn't seat 25 (understandable). With the change of plans, we went to IHOP by Rainey, and server Lindsey handled the large party very well! Mind you, our visit was a post Easter-service celebration with pancakes, rather than the expected post Rainey need for munchies. While the crepes weren't offered on the main menu, Lindsey made it happen!

SXSW. 2024. Dinner time Day 1 of the Music Festival. IHOP at Cesar Chavez and I-35 is deserted. No one is going to fly from Los Angeles or New York or Memphis or Berlin and go to an IHOP. The artistic illuminati want tacos and barbecue or maybe an organic salad. No one at SXSW is going to want to eat pancakes for dinner EXCEPT for the table of young women from Malaysia. They were having the time of their life. They had travelled halfway around the world to come to Texas. And here they were in a genuine real deal IHOP. And here they were eating genuine real deal American pancakes. With maple syrup and scrambled eggs and hash browns and everything Just like they had heard about in Malaysia. (The Moslems at the table passed on the bacon.) The Malaysian women thought IHOP was totally fantastic. Their happiness was infectious. * * * How is the IHOP on Cesar Chavez and I-35 in Austin If you are an American and you can get IHOP any time you want it? It is like IHOPS everywhere. Decent on breakfast food. Dicey on non-breakfast stuff. I had a burrito bowl with chicken and avocado. The chicken was cheap, tough and mediocre. The avocado was tasteless. The eggs were wonderful and the hash browns were wonderful Because IHOP can totally do eggs and hash browns. I liked half of what I was eating. * * * A significant issue with the IHOP at this location is the large population of homeless people and all purpose crazies that wander the sidewalks near I-35 anywhere in downtown Austin. IHOP's policy towards the nuts and crazies is actually very enlightened. Anyone can do anything they want in the parking lot so long as they don't destroy property and they don't explicitly threaten to hurt anyone. Most homeless people aren't going to hurt anyone. Most homeless people aren't going to vandalize anything. So the lunatics are out in the parking lot and they are doing their thing. If you want to see the lunatic show, look out the window. If you don't want to see the lunatic show, don't look out the window. Either way you and everyone else on the planet are going to be fine. * * * The biggest danger you have to worry about? Ordering stuff that is not pancakes. Stick to pancakes and eggs and life will be fine.

Yum. The food was so yummy, definitely hit the spot. The service was a little slow but likely due to how busy. While it was busy it was very quiet and relaxing at the same time. Definitely a great end to my night

As a frequent diner at IHOP, I've come to appreciate my usual order of the Tres Leches Pancakes, 2 sausages and scrambled eggs. I didn't really expect much out of the ordinary since I come here often but I want to give a shout out to Phillip S. who made our day so much better. Service at IHOP is consistently friendly, but on my recent visit, our waiter, Phillip S. - truly went above and beyond to make my experience special. He took the time to answer my questions about the menu, and made sure we were on the same page as far as the substitutions and add-on's we requested. He was super attentive which added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience, and I left feeling grateful for his excellent service. In summary, IHOP is my regular and I'm a regular there but this guy made it even better simply by being a nice person. Give this man a raise!

I requested over-hard eggs using real "shelled eggs" vs liquid eggs. We were told that the over-hard eggs are only made with "powdered eggs." I even clarified by showing a picture of a "sunny side up" egg, and the server said that it was made with "powdered eggs." When did IHOP stop using real eggs?

Always great food. Usually horrible service. I order coffee. You bring me creamer. Great. There's sugar on the table. There's one more thing i might need. A spoon. I run out of coffee before i get my food. Not one refill. I ordered blueberry pancakes, extra butter, blueberry syrup. I get blueberry pancakes, " do you need anything else?" Yes, extra butter, blueberry syrup and utensils. I don't know why this is so hard. I ordered food, therefore, i need something to eat it with. It's crazy. Edit ran my card and no pen to sign it with.

Wow! Ann is amazing she definitely deserves a raise and a promotion. She was a true leader to the IHOP name. She wore all three hats, the hostess, waitress and server. It's a shame that she was the only person on the floor to keep your business afloat. The order Chicken Fried Steak & eggs, Chicken & Waffles & Burger & fruit. The food was delicious. The three stars is for Ann.

12/12/21 "General Manager is taking a break" (!?) was the reason we were given that there is NO caffeinated coffee... no regular pancake syrup... and SEVERAL other items we out of stock. Weren't told til after we ordered. :( We got it to go so we could have normal syrup at home. Cook didn't have on a mask. We won't be back... we used to eat here a lot, before covid. LOVED THE HARVEST PANCAKES! They were still pretty tasty ONCE we got some syrup. Bad experience. :(

I don't care that I came here after a night out at 130am, but this slapped!!! Got bacon, fried eggs, hash browns and buttermilk pancakes and I devoured that plate like it was my last meal. I have no idea what they put in those hash browns but it tasted like my new addiction. They were severely short staffed but the server was exceptional. And my top reflected that! And the fact that the entire meal was cheaper than a cocktail at the bar down the street blows my mind. Next day and I'm still thinking about that meal.

Walked in, place was empty, no one greeted me, smelled a strange mixture of puke and diarrhea, walked out, dodged the homeless hanging out by the door, immediately left this review. This place is a disgrace to America and should be condemned by the Health Department. DO NOT GO. Enough said.

Horrible service , don't recommend it to anyone . The waiter had a horrible attitude and came to our table like 3 times and we didn't have any water refills or coffee refills. The food was alright but again HORRIBLE service DONT COME.

Can't say I remember where both the locations are that we frequented " while traveling over here. Have to say they are all alike here as in UT because of the people, cleanliness, good food etc... What a Comfort to feel Worthy to be where we are Welcomed. Thanks IHOP from just one of the many "Grateful Customers". Truly a Joy to Eat!

Reviving my yelp account to complain about the worst service I've literally ever had. Bugs crawling on the table while the waitress continues to ignore half the people sitting down. Good lord. Shut it down.

When one of my legs is really sore and not working properly, IHOP. We don't like IHOP and we have never liked IHOP. This is no exception. We came here because Barbie's only relative in town is kind of obsessed with coming here in the middle of the night. We suggested several options and alternatives, including In N Out Burger, but this was the one that she wanted to take us to, all excited to do so, as if we have never been to an IHOP. It didn't go well at all. Some of that infamous cold on the inside hot on the outside microwave action happening here, and the service wasn't good either. And I can't believe how expensive it is now. Even when it was cheap it was bad but this is ridiculous. Added one star for a lovely server.

So much better than I expected! I came in because I had an email coupon for free pancakes. First I wanted something with protein to balance all the sugar of the pancakes so I went with the Spicy Poblano Omelet, just whites, no serranos. Without the serranos, it wasn't spicy at all, which was perfect for a wimp like me! It completely blew away my expectations for a chain diner dinner! So so good! But it was too much good so I took some of it home. The pancakes were a little too sweet. If these are fairly basic pancakes, I can't imagine how sweet their others must be. The place was almost empty and the one cook and one server seemed to be handling the slow stream of patrons just fine.

(Literally would give 0 stars if I could.) Omg, I dont know where to start. First off my boyfriend and I are visiting from out of town. So boom, We just made it back to our hotel room after a fun night on the town and a little adult extra curriculum activities and basically we worked up a appetite. We used Uber eats to complete our order and I Hop forgot our cutlery, syrup for the pancakes and most importantly they forgot the wild berry lemonade I paid for. Smh So dissatisfied, actually I'm pissed af. I'm drunk and I just wanted my order to be right. Smh I hope y'all let me down I'm disappointed af! I don't even want my pancakes without he butter or syrup, cause who tf eats pancakes like that!?

Stop messing with your hair while rolling silverware . Gross ...and also manager having convos with servers across the dining room ..yelling at the door "we be right with you " walk your lazy ass toward whom u want talk to . Dining experience was terrible

If I could rate zero starts I would. the cooks are assholes that stop cooking your food because they are LAZY. I came in with my friends to do a takeout order @ 2am. They forgot out food and we had to come back and we didnt leave until 5am because the cooks weren't actively cooking our food. don't waste your time going here. Terrible customer service! this place should be shut down.

I came here today to sell a bike to my friend for $1100 and because I paid for a fellow that was down on his luck food, I was requested no toad that the manager Angie said that I had to pay for my food ahead of time. I find that extremely rude and very unprofessional. Like she's any better than anybody else probably less than a person the way it looks has no respect for anybody except herself probably don't like her employees and they probably don't like her either. She's very rude that's the best way I can put it. I believe her manager needs to send her through some new training even the police don't treat people the way she treats them. With her attitude this place don't even deserve one star.

We went for my sister birthday breakfast. We had aGreat service and the food was on point.

We came in for a quick breakfast before our flight on a Friday morning at 7 am. Your basic ihop....this one was clean, with quick service which was nice and refreshing!! We each ordered the 2x2x2 which comes with two pancakes two eggs and either bacon or sausage. Service was a little off....once the food was dropped we weren't checked on again about the food or refills. Food came out nice and hot and fresh and quick!

In a word: Sad Water glass tasted like soap. Link sausage was almost raw. There was a hair in the hashbrowns. The only thing that tasted really good was the pancakes, they only had maple syrup instead of the four or five kinds they used to have. Really sad to see an IHOP like this.

I'm not really sure what I'm looking at, or what I just tried to eat. But I do know that I ordered a T-Bone steak. I guess Texas is the place for me to get the real deal kind of beef instead of whatever this rubbery textured thing might be. I decided to never order from an IHOP again. I have tried about 10 times, and the place I knew as a child is no more- Nationwide. I suppose being open 24/7 and centrally located to downtown is a plus for convenience.

They were so unnecessary rude for no reason. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with hostility from the servers to the point where I was thinking I didn't even want to order anymore but I did anyway. Food was basic, bland and the ranch tasted funny. 0/10

Don't order online. It said it would be ready in 15 minutes, I arrive and it's still not ready after 45 minutes of arrival time. Call in your order or eat somewhere else.

This review is for the Ihop in Phluggerville, TX. The 1st time we came here they tried to overcharge us and automatically tack on 20% tip for 2 people when the order was wrong, orange juice was hot, milk was warm, and service was awful. A bunch of kids that like to roll their eyes. It's been 4 months the and we gave it another chance and same issues, except to add my wife ordered a steak well done and they brought it out medium rare and raw. I don't advise wasting your time with this location or the other in Round Rock. The service, the people, the food is just complete crap

Someone has to balance out all the bad reviews. Just had a great experience at IHOP! Friendly and attentive server and hostess, excellent pancakes, coffee, and top notch chicken tenders. Pricing was a little higher than expected ($2.99 for coffee is more than I anticipated but was very good and hot). Interesting clientele to people watch too!

When you order pick up and end up in an ambulance 30 mins later due to anaphylactic shock smh wtf does an allergy mean? It one thing to not say it but to look at the cook directly in the eye and for them not to give a fuck is completely amazing thankfully I had an epi pen today And to the cashier tonight I was serious I don't want to die tonight glad to know y'all don't take allergies serious smh. Glad it was amusing to you smh When someone stated they have an allergy make sure A. The grill is cleaned B. No allergens are added I had a simple order now I'm sitting here fighting for air because of your negligence. No I'm not typing this but I'm sure if I was it would be a lot worse.... Remember a micro gram is all it takes smh

This location is so hit and miss. I eat here a couple times a month. I ate breakfast here a couple weeks ago and had the BEST IHOP experience I've ever had. There were quite a few guests, but the gentleman that served me was quick, efficient and probably the friendliest server I've had in years. The food was served quick and hot. Guy kept up with all the tables around him and did it with a the most positive attitude. I told him he should be be training every server in the company. Today, completely different story. I think I was the only one in here. Food took twice as long to come out, and wasn't hot. My server was friendly and checked up on me. No complaints there. But the entire time I was here I had to listen to the back of house staff yelling and swearing. The number of F--bombs being thrown around, especially regarding people picking up to go orders after those customers left, was just over the top. I heard one lady swearing and complaining about somebody picking up a to-go order. After her little tirade she said "What are they going to do, fire me?" I'm sure you can guess my answer if it was up to me. I work in the service industry. I have the same thoughts about guests/customers all the time. But I know enough to keep my mouth shut at work. Other guests don't want to hear my opinions of the people I serve. I don't know why that's what I have to listen to out loud while I'm just trying to enjoy my breakfast.

They've redeemed themselves here. My friend is a very demanding breakfast eater as she needs to have her coconut cream can opened for her coffee. She requested some cinnamon in the side for the coffee as well. All these things were granted. Waitress is attentive and try's to please meet her customers needs. The poblano omelette is really good and had lots of shredded et meat. The breakfast overall is good. Very good service today. ***Our change was supposed to be $6.39. Why didn't we get the .39 cents??? There were two of us and neither one of us got the .39 cents!!!*** NO BUENO! This shouldn't be happening. We didn't fight for the money, but hope this review makes up for it. They're keeping people's money and I wonder how much they've kept so far!

Been to this location twice. Terrible service the first time. Came back a couple weeks later to dine in and they were only serving to go. The management here is non existent and you can tell they would rather not have customers coming in.

Many thanks to Juan and great server and tasty breakfast, at a reasonable price. While I know this restaurant is open long hours, they could focus a little more energy on keeping the place tidy. On the same note, customers could also be better at not creating messes.

My review is based on the service, or should I say lack thereof! 10 minutes for an employee to seat us, another 10 minutes listening to our waitress (Nadia) jibber jabber with the next table instead of acknowledging her new customers. When she finally concluded her important conversation, we asked her if she could get our waitress and OMFG she's our waitress. Overall terrible service.

Asked 3 times if they could put the strawberries on the side because i was taking it togo. They told me no, it comes in the pancakes. seriously? I swear, some places could just care less if they make the customer happy or not. I'm in the service industry and have always tried to make a regular out of every customer. I just don't understand the blasé attitude and not caring whether or not people come back.

just now We just went inside to have a great morning breakfast. The young lady was seating with her family or friend so somehow it was an inconvenience for her because while she was on the clock she was enjoying a family time. Therefore she came to us with an attitude. Put us in a seat that is dirty and is super rude. I will never ever again come back. She is a young lady I think Hispanic and was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you don't care about customers don't work in customer service. I own in a restaurant and I would never treat my customers that way. So yes I give a one star while I was walking out the door. I would do a zero start but they don't have that. I refuse to stay go back and seat with your family and chat.

You'll always wait 40 fucking minutes for anything. No matter what time you come, very annoying. That's calling in that's walking in anything at all.

Been in this location many times over the last 4 yrs! Having said that, i went in this morning @ 430, only one other patron besides me. I can only assume it had been super busy earlier, their was 3 servers, in the approximately 15 min i as in the restaurant, only 1 or 2 tables had been cleaned, the vast majority of others were still filthy!! The manager & staff need a refresher course on how to present your restaurant!!

Terrible service. Super understaffed, slow service, management is extremely rude. Now, I am not one to complain but they charged my card twice at two different times for two different amounts. Once I noticed I contacted my bank and they suggested I try to call IHOP to see if they could cancel the payment or stop it while it was still processing, I try to be nice to anybody since I worked at a restaurant myself a while ago. So I called, spoke to the "manager" which I didn't get her name, she was extremely rude and started to get an attitude and loud when I was transferred to the "general manager" which I thought I was speaking to in the first place. I know it's close to 6th and sounds good after a night out but don't waste your time or money here.

Eggs tasted bad, service was slow, front lobby smells like pee, had to wait 20 mins for my order after it said it was ready for pick up.
