IHOP

I really enjoyed the vibe of this Ihop, it was small personable and clean. The food and service were decent as well. Loved the banana foster pancakes, but it didn't come with everything it said it would, but I think that was my only major hangup. Otherwise, overall it was a good experience.

We stopped in to dodge the rain and get a bit to eat. To start our waitress spoke in a low tone so we couldn't hear what she was saying and then discovered she didn't understand English well also, this place needs better cooks, our arrived semi-warm after sending it back to be corrected she returned with the food in the same condition. There is no floor manager to correct issues as they arise. Will not return to this location. My tip, provide better customer service.

Never Again will I ever come here for French toast Or anything I had to add cinnamon There’s no powder sugar on it And it looks like a dry piece of bread 🍞 Should’ve known better to come to Marlow Heights coming from Gaithersburg this place is ghetto. Should’ve went to Rivertown ihop So DO NOT GET THE FRENCH TOAST

Me and my aunt went for brunch and I am never disappointed by ihop. Always great food. But this customer service was so elite at this one because LJ made it such a great experience. He came to the table already with an amazing attitude and vibes. He continued to be that way through our entire visit. I needed to give this shoutout because it was the best customer service I have received at IHOP, and I really appreciate his service, and his positive vibes. And the burger, fries, and milkshake were delicious!

This waiter was not proactive, made my guest feel like she asked for too much even thiught she kept repeating herself. I was gonna order more and some to go but the service changed everything it was so unfortunate 😕 😪. While injured I've been there a couple times this was not pleasant

It was ok except we were sitting close to the kitchen and they had a wait staff who was hitting on the counter that was disturbing. But other than that the wait staff that has waited on us was excellent.

Petrified, but tired and hungry. Stopped in at 7 P.M. on a weeknight. A few homeless men lurking both inside and outside. Bomb squad officer coming in and out as well. Servers were calm, so I felt safe enough to stay and eat. Salad was delicious and fresh!

To my surprise! This Ihop was really good. Good customer service, food came out hot and coffee was fresh!

Food came with the wrong sauce, took a long time to get the food out. Very busy. Popular, almost all the seats were filled the whole time we were here.

Haven't pulled a late night in quite sometime. Went to this IHOP about 3am and an Amazing experience. Ms Sharon our Server was nothing short of perfection. Her ability to get our entire party order right was impressive. The food was hot and good! Keep up the good work!

Ordered on line breakfast sampler over 16.00, order #28863892778729473 food made my companion sick we shared the breakfast, he got a plate took out what he wanted and I took the rest he was eating while I fix coffee all of a sudden he broke out in a sweet I thought he was going to pass out, I gave him water he throw up a little because he also had food in his month he said he felt better after he throw up . I was getting ready to call emergency. I threw the rest of the food in the trash. I had a nasty taste in my month for no reason and I throw the food in the trash. I call and informed the manager and told him to check his workers because somebody in the kitchen is not washing their hands or just nasty handling the food. He said he will check but did not offer money at least half. I want my sixteen dollars back.

I loved the atmosphere for the tiny little IHOP and the waitress I had made sure my drink was NEVER empty as soon as it got close to the bottom she brought out another glass quality service. And the food was also amazing I didn't even have to ask for extra cheese on my omlete I was so happy.

Terrible, gross. Can't even eat - it is all bland. The white folks in Alexandria put more flavor in their potatoes and pancake - include actual chocolate chips (which are supposed to be, inside and on top), AND DON'T CHARGE FOR SYRUP. This is terrible and they should be ashamed of themselves. I usual frequent them in-person but after this, I can't waste another dollar. Even in-person their servers are terrible, service is weak. During these times of inflation, we are working damned hard to keep up with rising costs - they can'r justify this trash.

I visited this IHOP on Tuesday. The eggs were terrible and I'm still trying to figure out how one could mess up eggs. I guess the cook was having a bad morning. Anyway, I ordered the Breakfast Sampler and I give the meal a 4/10. The highlight of my visit was the excellent server. I can't remember the young man's name but he was very professional.

I ordered through Uber eats I get all the food but I don't get a fork or a knife or napkins. So I called the store the young lady put me on hold and just walks away from the phone which is quite unbelievable, but that's how they treat people who use Uber eats and DoorDash be careful not to use them for your service.

I will never order anything from this location. On Mother's Day 2021, there were literally 40+ people waiting on food. I placed an order at 10:28am, the food was due to be ready at 10:51. I arrived at 11:05 and left at 12:30 without food. I canceled the order because like others we were waiting for so long. The staff was working though what they could, but I guess there was not enough staff in the kitchen. It was a complete cluster fux.

If I could rate this IHOP a -100 I would. I ordered 2 steak burgers tonight and received no meat!!! Went home, sat down, got comfortable and all that just to find out that there's no meat... If y'all didn't have it we should've gotten an alternative. #wheretfisthemanager

I came with my friend to enjoy some food and chat. We came To NO ONE in the parking lot So we was thinking YASSSSS!! We can eat and talk without extra. He tried the door and "their open!! We come in And Justice says we can't serve you; we have no server. I asked do you have a cook and a menu? He says yes we have a cook but I'm not a server. I ask for the manager. He says he is the assistant manager. So I'm confused on how a MANAGER has a cook and the doors are open but can't give me a menu and write down a simple order of pancakes, sausage and grits with turkey bacon. Right... very simple!! What kinda manager wouldn't take the easy money presented. IF your gonna be open.... DO BETTER IHOP! This was ridiculous and you lost out on at the least $20 but I was hungry so showing me the menu... who knows. He could've took our order just like he took the 3 pickup orders I saw when leaving

Shoutout to our Ihop ambassador, Mark B! You rock! Potato pancakes on fleek!!! Order them with a side of sour cream... hard not to order another serving. It comes in twos. Great coffee and I love having your own personal coffee carafe. Pancake syrups are all such delicious flavors. I enjoy this environment and the new exciting combos. The staff is personable and attentive. It is great for groups or a date, because everyone can find something yummy. My son was too full off his delicious steak tips to ask for a second order of his "endless pancakes"... lol

They gave me floor food and refused to refund my order. They tried to give me a certificate to return, as if I would endanger my health again. No, thank you. Stay away from this IHOP if you value your health.

After the Wizards game, we headed home, forgetting that restaurants would be closing early in our neck of the woods - because it was Sunday! We ended up at IHOP. Open 24 hours. Fast service. Friendly wait staff. Satisfying food. It was close to 10pm when we arrived. When we pulled in the lot, we thought that the place was closed. We entered and found that there was one other couple dining in. We were greeted and seated immediately. My new go-to place in my 'hood for a late night meal.

The eggs were cooked wrong and on the second try there was a hair in the plate. We had a large party and were missing some silverware but everything else was great. The food and coffee were hot and there was plenty of it. It's in a good location and has parking.

This place is SOOOOO freaking SLOW! Came in on Sunday morning to get a quick eggs, bacon, hash brown before church. We've been waiting over 40 min. Ridiculous! They kept serving the To-Go orders before customers that have been seated.

Terrible, honestly never again, look at my food, one person in the kitchen also one person serving, needa management and better service! Want my money back

This place is disgusting they have roaches crawling around and ghetto cooks and mangers. There is always drama and dirty tables all around.

So the servers there are extremely nice. The food came out in a timely matter. However, the manager was the nastiest individual I ever met in my life. He treats his staff like crap, as well as the customers. Furthermore, there is a strong ODOR as soon as you walk through the door. It smells horrific, almost like piss. I do not recommend this place for food. RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

We had a really nice time. The food was so good and the staff is polite, energetic and very efficient!

So I cant say anything bad about the food but the service sucked!!! The waitress was blah and not attentive at least she didnt get the order wrong I guess if you go to the Ihop in the hood you get hood service I wont lie and say I wont be back as this is the closest Ihop to my house but I rather go to Dennys on benning rd before I come back here lol

Order was wrong, no greeters, had to ask to be seated, had to ask for who our server is, coffee never given, and waited 30 min just to be checked out. The front of the store hasn't had their grass mowed in probably months. If my kid didn't ask for IHOP we probably wouldn't have came here. Oh! Let's not forget the vomit in the men's room that my son nearly lost his lunch from just to go in to pee. Didn't seem like no one was in a rush to even clean it up. Please don't go here... save your money and just go to the next IHOP about 10-15 min away.

It was our first time in this location, and I am not sure if it was because we were the only couple there, we had an amazing service, we left in love with our server, she was extremely sweet, the food was amazing and came very fast. We had breakfast around 6:00 am, love it. Also got the banana French toast for the very first time, Its delicious

They are out of EVERYTHING! Literally everything I've attempted to order has been sold out. I seen the commercial for the cookies and cream (Oreo) cheesecake pancakes and I've been dying to get to IHOP and try it. I asked to order it and he said they were out... I was disappointed and our server decided to check the back and LUCKILY they were prepping it now. Our server showed us a list of +10 food and drink items that were NOT available. I'm extremely disappointed but at least our server is nice and patient with our group.

Slow service. It wasn't busy and it took us 15 minutes to sit down. Order wrong twice and the waitress lied and said extra eggs were being given to us on a separate plate vs our current plate. Lied because we waited 15 extra minutes. Waitress didn't even write our order down she just said she got it. Entire crew wasn't even responsive when we asked for our check. Waited literally a whole 30 minutes for someone to actually charge my check. I went to the front and said they can only do payments at the table. If you enjoy a lazy, slow, bad IHOP experience please come here. You won't be disappointed.

Slowest IHOP EVER !! Sat for an hour without my food . The excuse was they were backed up with orders and had 4 cooks. If your backed up the best bet would be to stop taking to go orders until your caught up. The workers were working but they need to do a better job of keeping up .

Food here is decent. I've tried their Big Brunch and Garlic Butter burgers and they were nothing special. Actually I'm not a fan of their burgers, they taste pretty bland and dry. But I did like their cheescake pancakes, and the blueberry pancakes were pretty good too.

I love this particular Location. The morning crew is always nice and the manager always ask how is my day going. Ther service is fast and accurate. I really appreciate them.

I know...don't have high expectations of an IHOP. But I do expect to at least be treated with common courtesy. The story begins with a new server who spills my hot chocolate all over the table. He's nervous...and new we've all been there. I can deal with that. He never comes back to the our table after we get our food...In this area I've grown accustomed to not receiving stellar service. Ok, I'm not happy but again I can deal with it. My food was lackluster to say the least, the "churro" pieces of my pancakes were so hard I could've broken a window. But I tried something new, I didn't like it. Oh well. I was STILL willing to spend my money and order another type of pancake so I could eat. I never was given the opportunity. After having to get up to find our server, we received our check. And...it's wrong. Now I'm hungry and irritated. He says he has to get the manager....after THIRTY...1,2,3...30!!! Minutes of waiting to have our check corrected. We received the adjusted bill. The manager never even bothered to come out to address us. Yes this fix was minor, but the wait to have it fixed?!?! Unacceptable. 10.86 for a hot chocolate and a churro rock?! Had she came out to assess the situation she would see that I hadn't eaten any of my food, and possibly acted accordingly. But then again who knows? My relationship with IHOP ends here. I will not pay my money to be disrespected in this manner.

Food was great and done just right. The service was on point and took real good care of my party. The building is a brand new spot looks great inside and out. The entire time the employees were tending to the cleanliness. I went in on a day after my two daughters had dance class. We were with my brother-in-law and his two kids. They made sure we had room for the six of us, and the booster seat we needed had plenty of room also. Our waitress was "SASHA", and she was very patient with the kids and even gave us icecream for the kids. Great time.

I enjoyed the brunch date with the Family. I ordered the T-bone steak dinner with the the side of sauteed spinach and red potatoes. The T-bone was nothing special it was dry (but keep in mind I ordered it well done) and hardly seasoned I had to add salt myself. The sauteed spinach was good very tasty tho the presentation wasn't appealing but the red potatoes were good. The waiter was friendly and consistent. I'll come back I just wouldn't order steak again if I do I would try the medium well steak to see if it'll be any different and that's not a promise

Purchased two breakfast meals. Both were prepared to specification. Inexpensive, quick and friendly. Decent portions.

I almost pasted this location, because it's so small. The food was average with other IHOPs I've been to. The service was nothing to write home about. Doubt I'll ever return to this location, due to the location, but it was an okay experience.

This Morning me and my daughter stopped in here the service so fast our waitress Tianna was a sweetie pie with out an attitude which is so rare ! She needs a raise! The food was also good! Thanks so much guys for a good start this morning

Hm...I always have issues when I come to ihops, I really think that the people there are tired and maybe aren't tipped well so maybe they don't care. Poured our coffee and started sipping. Only to find faint traces of red lipstick on the cups. The waitress was really nice about it and said she cleaned it herself this time. I get it, the dishwashers don't clean that well I guess, and lipsticks are made to not smear these days. I would suggest that they find someone to still pay attention to these things when serving up customers. The food came and honestly it wasn't in line with the rest of ihops. The food had a certain twag to it, like maybe it was just about to spoil. I ended up skipping out of the eggs and sausage and ate my pancakes. Our server was actually really sweet and everything and we tipped her based on her service and not the food there. I personally would pass on coming to this one.

Place is always clean and staff is always friendly. Been here a few times and its always the same. Just wished the parking lot was bigger, if you're in the area come to this one and forget the one in Clinton.

Great place, friendly staff: the interiors are very well in shape. Quality of food is standard Ihop-but we didn't expect any really special. If you are looking for a good Ihop, this is definitely the place to be.

Very nice wait person. Very nice manager. Very communicative when they ran out of salad ingredients and substituted other items. This is a nice ihop. It is a little cold/drafty though, my only complaint. Food was good. If you want pancakes brought out last, remember to tell them or they will bring with meal.

Well, I've been to many IHOPs before but this place was not good at all. Carpet was dirty, waited 40 min for food. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with eggs and hash browns. The eggs were over cooked, and the Country Fried Steak was hard. Very disappointed. However, still tip the waitress.

Food was ok pancakes over cook service was grate so when you go ask for Dana didn't check out the restrooms but most of the time it's clean

I love coming here. Service was fast and everyone is so nice. Twan was my server and he rocks. The restaurant is clean and they are constantly taking my dirty plates. I will be back!

Came here off the early morning for some bfast to go. Was given old spoiled sausage. I knew something was wrong based off the way it looked. The sausage had ridges in it. Yes I said it, RIDGES!!! WTF!! I broke it apart and it was mushy on the outside and pink in the middle. Not my first bad expletive l experience here but definitely my last time coming

We ordered sirloin with blue cheese and bacon. The potatoes was not smashed. We sent the order back and the order was still wrong. James the waiter tried his best. Thank you James.

So I went here on a weekday morning around 1am. There were about 10 people in the restaurant. The people who work there had the nerve to start cleaning the carpet!! Like actually steaming and doing other things to the carpet! I saw dust particles floating in the air and I couldn't even talk to my friend due to the loud noise. I spoke with the manager and she said she agrees it shouldn't be done while people are eating and she has told someone who's above her and they did nothing.. Last time eating at this nasty IHOP!

Adrihannah was an A+ server. Very friendly and attentive, smiled often, and happy to help us in anyway she could. Hosts, managers, and bus boys were chipper and welcoming. Food was excellent. I got the strawberry passion fruit pancakes. Would eat there again, would give 2 thumbs up.

I love this location. I actually live near an IHOP but I travel to this location because it is always clean and the staff are very accommodating.

This place doesn't deserve a 1 star. DONOT GO TO THIS IHOP on Saint Barnabas Road! BY FAR THE WORST. This is one of the most unprofessional restaurant. No customer service etiquette what so ever. I placed an order and was told that it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. My dad went in to pick up the order while I waited in the car. I figured they may be crowed, but after waiting 15 minutes in the car, I went in to see what was the hold up. They weren't crowded! Very poor customer service. 45 minutes later, the order still was not ready and not only did the cashier short change (or should I say took it upon himself to take his own tip, btw what is it with bm always wanting to steal your change), when we got home we realized that the order was not complete. Then when I called to inform them of the missing items, I was brushed off. I would never recommend this place. However, as I was telling someone what happened, they said that the IHOP on Oxon Hill Road is a total contrast. Skeptically, I went there because my dad was really looking forward to the side order that Marlow Heights screwed up on. So I went over to the Oxon Hill IHOP and it was AWESOME!! Not only was everything in order. But the atomosphere was professional, courteous, so warm and welcoming. So, if you want great customer service and atmosphere, go to the Oxon Hill Road IHOP. DONOT GO TO THE SAINT BARNABAS ROAD IHOP!!!!!
