Im over the moon with my experience today, my waitress Shannon was phenomenal. The food was great. I had the biscuit & gravy combo meal and everything was excellent. From the greetings as I walked in to the happy holiday wishes from the staff as I left. Thank you Shannon for helping this tired mama have a great day.

Joey was my waiter tonight. had an absolutely amazing personality and the best etiquette I’ve seen as a previous waitress myself. It’s great when my husband gets off work after a long day and we go out and eat. We will definitely be back 10/10 fully recommending this location and waiter.

Joey was our server and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His attention to detail and genuinely friendly service made our experience outstanding. We’ll definitely be returning and we’ll be asking for Joey again! Highly recommend.

Excellent waitress! My sister and I and our kid's ate there yesterday evening and the waitress was magnificent. My sister is deaf and the communication with my sister in regaurds to her order, refill and needs were excellent. She was attentive and quick! I would absolutely eat there again and ask for her...if I could remember her name. Just that she had dark hair, young, polite, wore a beaded bracelet with a smiley face. Along with 2 others. She was fantastic.

Everything was awesome from the service staff to the atmosphere and especially the food. The French Toast was awesome, bacon and sausage cooked to perfection. Grits buttery and coffee brewed excellently. All on a busy Friday night.

Yesterday was my first time coming here at around 11:30 am. I was greeted warmly by the young lady by the front door. The restaurant was festively decorated for the Thanksgiving holiday and the restaurant was nice and clean. I was promptly seated and my server, Trinity, was very friendly. She took my drink order and came right back with a nice cold glass of sweet tea. I was pleasantly surprised at how big it is on the inside considering it looks small from the outside. It's in a quiet and cozy location. My breakfast of fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, eggs over easy and pancakes with whipped cream was absolutely delicious and nice and hot. I come back here when, I'm back in town.

Really a great experience, especially considering their first week open. Loved the interior and exterior seating options. Menu is VERY extensive. Waiter was amazing (Brandon). All food came out as expected. 4 syrup options to choose from (🍓 was way better than expected). Milkshake was huge and very tasty (shared with a few). No complaints and definitely coming back!

First time at this place. Service was fast and easy. We came in at 1pm on a Friday and there was no wait. Food came quick and it was delicious. I recommend the omelets, they are no joke when it comes to filling the plate up. The burger was perfect and the fries were spot on. The double blt was banging it out the park. A'shanti was our waitress and she did a very good job. Off to a good start.

Let me start by saying we are from California and the service is generally just crap in comparison. We were greeted by Jordan J. who ended up as our server and he was a rock star. The service was as good if not better than the food. We will definitely be coming back, thank you again for a pleasant experience.

I really enjoyed the hospitality and the food was amazing I really enjoyed the food, especially the pancakes and the fried steak and gravy very delicious. Florine

The food is very nice I especially love their pancakes. Service is good they have very nice people there if you like good service I think that may be a good place to go. Decor is pretty nice I mean not too too much maybe it could use a little work.

Good variety of foods for most people. (Only experience breakfast items. Service was great and coffee was plentiful!

so good this is my 3rd favorite restaurant fries were good but you need to try the nuggets it tastes so good dip it with ketchup so good also try french fries with ice cream goood

So I have not been to the IHOP sense I was 11 years old but I want to the IHOP last week 25 it was no good it was bad l and not going to so no one any pictures because they ma are ma not Know the food is Fashion and the tea no good with the tea you may think it's the water it probably was are it cod of been the brand of tea she'll let me tell you what I got I got a Philly cheese steak and onion wings and they are old my Bill was 25.00 and my name is Jessica and I will never walk in there any I do know how they stay a live.

I LOVE IHOP! our server Kimberly was so amazing!!!! I had amazing pancakes and my daughter had crepes like French! I got lots of water! Hydrate!!!!! They were so considerate and sweet! The ambiance was incredible!!!! So amazing for breakfast! My daughter smiled! She is goth and has not smiled in a very long time. Hurray!

Very interesting experience. The waiter asked what type of drink I would like and I told them some water. They came back with the water, stripped down naked, poured it all over themselves, and started twerking on the table. All in all I'd probably come again.

My husband and I love middle eastern cuisine and we were thrilled that Grape Leaf Bistro opened in Southern Pines. It is very clean, bright and he had eaten there multiple times so for his birthday he asked that I pick up his favorite Beef Shawarma. It smelled great on the way home but it ended there. The meat was so over salted it was nearly inedible and caused indigestion and dehydration well into the night. For a $54 carry out I expected better. I called and shared the experience with the front counter person and asked if the cook made a mistake and doubled seasoned the food. Her response without even checking was "no, you're the only one who complained about it". They have my cell # and asked that the owner call me. So far no call and I'll give it a few more days but for now I cannot recommend it.

We just left this place and I am irate! First we were sat down waited 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we sat down. As I was waiting a table that was sat down after us had their order take and drinks on their table within the 15min. I had to stop a waiter to ask who our waiter was. When our waiter did come we gave her our order and she had to ask for our order three times. (I'm sorry, what did you want to drink, I'm sorry what type of eggs, I'm sorry I think I'm missing an order, etc.) At the 30 min mark we finally received some of our drinks. I ordered green tea and she brought out black. We ordered a kids chocolate milk and she brought an orange juice. She also forgot one of the other drinks completely. We waited an additional 10 minutes to get the remainder of our drinks to the table. Mind you, the table that sat behind us/ after us was already served their food. I asked for the manager and she said she'd look into it. Seconds later the waiter walked by and said it'll be at our table in a minute. She stopped to talk to another waiter as I'm watching her and my watch... having a conversation that has nothing to do with work or serving people their food. We walked out. As we were doing so she brought our food out and asked if we wanted it boxed. Are you kidding me? We left and went to another restaurant that immediately sat us and within minutes took our drink order and food order. Better service and food is out there.

You would think a pancake restaurant would serve real maple syrup, not maple corn syrup. Wait staff could use a little more trading too.

I had just got done finishing my meal as i go outside and there's 2 of your managers smoking a cigarette in the front of your building. One of the names was bambi and the other was christina. I hope you get this under control, thank you!

IHOP is IHOP. Would be nice to see waitstaff use gloves to serve plates. Menus are sanitized only 1x per day per staff. Guess they havent been listening to the news. Doubt the kitchen staff wears masks either....thats said breakfast good

Extremely poor service. All African-American staff, I could not get waited on for even a drink in 15 minutes.

The restaurant has the best service, quality and cleanliness and pricing in Southern Pines, I recommend the big steak omelette. Love this place servers very attentive.

I've been to this location a few times now. The service has been great and the food was pretty good. It's one of the smallest IHOP's I've been to but they still manage to seat people fairly quickly. There aren't that many breakfast places here so it's a welcome addition to the area.

Who doesn't love an IHOP! This one is new so it is very bright and cheerful. They had an abundance of staff so you never waited long for anything. Parking is superb.

The food was hot and fresh. Full of flavor. Our waitress Gwyneth, was amazing. Friendly and fast. Overall I am VERY pleased with this location and will be back again.

I have been to this IHOP before and I had a good experience. When I went today however, I had an amazing experience! The staff was amazing and made the whole experience great. Robyn, Nyia,A'Shanti , Jaimie, Abdi, and Adalia specially were amazing. They made my entire week. The food also came out very quickly and deliciously. I would definitely recommend IHOP to a friend and I will be returning.

The new deluxe bacon Burger is best Burger I have had in a long time . I give it a 5 star rating.

Ordered to go with a friend. We had separate orders and while mine was ready upon arrival however, my friends meal was far from prepared. First off, my friend ordered one meal and due to the lack of experience from the young man that answered the phone an order for two meals was put in. Second, the order was wrong. Third, all of this screwing around made us sit and wait for nearly 30 minutes for an order that should have been ready when we arrived. Going to have to think long and hard before going there again.

Excellent! Food was very good. Service was outstanding! We needed a restaurant like this in our area. Love it! Been opened one week and I have been there twice!. Brandon is the best server I have ever had. He memorized a complicated order for four people and didn't forget a thing! Had lunch and dinner there. Can't wait to have breakfast.

Me and my wife made the mistake of visiting this poorly run location in aberdeen n.c. Anyone who would rate the service good at this location must be relatives of the staff. There are too many bad things to list but i will say we left after about A 40 minute wait when the waiter came and asked to take our order again. Our waiter looked like a bum they pulled off the street and gave him a shirt and told him to wait on customers. The service was beyond bad. That location is a shining example of affirmative action rejects. It always throws up a red flag when you go into a business and it is all one race whether it be white or black. Hire people based on skill and experience not skin color. Every person i saw was african- american. No pride or care whether they do their job or not. It's sad for you because i'm going to keep my money in my wallet and your stores are going to fail.it's just as bad to hire whites because they are white. Hire quality not quantity.i would have rated the restaurant lower than 1 star but it wouldn't let me

I went there figuring it would be a safe place to eat during the Corona virus. It was because there was no one in there. The eggs I ordered were tasteless, the toast was stale and the server (a young guy) was annoying. He came to the table patronizing me so many times I couldn't enjoy my lousy food. So I ate fast to get out of there, and I won't be returning. They need to stick to pancakes.

Since it's a new operation we did not expect it to be a good experience but on Saturday morning it was perfect. We were seated immediately. We had adequate time to review the new menu. The three of us were pleased with both the service and the food. Our friend requested sugar-free syrup as a diabetic and was promptly served. No one drank coffee so that was not judged. They have a good future in this location.

My coworkers and I come here almost every Friday night after work. Even though we're a larger party coming in at the end of the night, the servers are always amazing and the food is always great.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! And here's why, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the host at the stand, as she is getting our menus, there's two managers I think they were upfront and a server standing on the other side of the host stand. I guess it was his turn to be sat and as my friend and I are waiting, the server (who's name is Sammy I think it was) out loud said "I don't want that f$@king table" and the manager just tells him "don't f@$king be like that." Already a bad taste in my mouth. On top of the disgusting comments we heard before we were even sat he took a good 15 mins to greet us and wasn't even ready. Seems like he's more worried about what's going on at the host stand with his buddies then taking care of the customers. I understand with the pandemic and everything going on that people are short and things may take longer but the fact is, people can hear you whether you think they can or not. We spoke with a manager and cancelled our order and took our business across the street to Panera. First time here and NEVER coming back.

Not bad compared to ihops in other surrounding areas. The food was good and the servers are learning well and everything was generally clean. Probably won't come back due to the fact the made the business decision to only do military/veteran discounts on Thursday nights as if they would lose money otherwise.

This was a OK restaurant but the service wasn't very good and the food was ok. I got the pancakes and my friend got the burger. It took 20 minutes for the food to come out. And when we got the food it was greasy and didn't taste great.
