I’ve worked with Caitlin in the kitchen design dept with my kitchen design and 2 salon design projects. I cannot recommend her enough! She’s more than helpful in navigating all of my questions & dimensions. All of my projects have been brought to life so beautifully!

I am going to review the "Swedish Restaurant" at the IKEA... It was on a Tuesday, not everything was available, but after asking a few questions, we made some decisions. I had the Cod dinner which came with peas and mashed potatoes and gravy and a drink. My son got the Chicken tenders with mac-n-cheese. We also added two slices of garlic bread. And we added a chocolate cake and a carmel crunch cake. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars were the fact that several of the tables were dirty and it took us awhile to find clean ones. But - all of the food was just great! So good. It was like dining at a local diner or hole-in-the-wall place offering some good comfort food. I enjoyed the cod and veggies so much. Drinks are free refills and there are plenty of options. The desserts are great - so don't skip out!

If you need ideas for your home, bedroom, kitchen, patio, or bathroom, they have the right ideas. Although some items look low-quality, the prices are affordable. The advantage is that you can return the product within a year.

The classic IKEA meatballs are always very delicious. Today a nice staff helped me find a product I was looking for! Love IKEA. The perfect place to buy cute plushies and enjoy some food.

Wow ! They went down hill fast. Drove all this way because we love the food. No salads. 1 dessert type, NO Salmon AND the line was 31 minutes. Skip the zoo and come to IKEA to watch sloths in the kitchen.

IKEA is always the perfect place to find inspiration for home decore!. I tired the restaurant for the first time and that was a fun experience. I liked the school cafeteria vibes while you pick your food items. I chose the lemon Cod, it comes with mashed potatoes and peas, I asked for some jam on the side and a garlic bread. I definitely feel the food needed some more condiments (flavor) but the garlic bread was super delicious! And I really liked the jam. The fish wasn’t bad just a bit meh. I fell in love with their desserts though!. I got the blueberry lemon cake and I absolutely loved it!, perfectly balanced flavors and just the right amount of sweet!. Overall I had a great experience as always!.

Indeed, IKEA offers a delightful experience for its customers. From navigating the illuminated arrow pathways and discovering new treasures at every turn to savoring the delectable cuisine served in the restaurant, IKEA consistently provides a welcoming and efficient shopping environment. The friendly staff and swift check-out lines further enhance the overall customer satisfaction.

You can find almost anything for the home at IKEA. It's not as cheap as it once was, but still pretty affordable, and for household basics, everything from furniture and cookware to dishes and bedding, to lighting and fake plants, it's a good place to start, especially if you want to see it in person. As a person with mobility issues, I increasingly dislike extremely large stores, but IKEA is the exception. Why? 1) there are elevators and escalators 2) there are plenty of places to sit down if I become fatigued, even if it's a model bed 3) I LOVE as someone using a cane that they have little carts to carry your tray on (try juggling an unevenly weighted cafeteria tray with one hand when your balance is already terrible and you will really appreciate this) 4) there are shortcuts so you don't have to walk the entire store if you don't need/want to/can't I was there today and I am glad to see that they have moved the Swedish marketplace area to a better location (it used to be basically past the registers, which didn't really work well). There's also seasonal stuff to look for such as the Advent Calendar at Christmastime. Overall, IKEA is a great place to start for household goods...or just to get your Swedish meatball fix!

I went to my local Ikea with my dad and sister to buy room decor and eat lunch. The food is consistently good. My only complaint is how plain and sandy the mashed potatoes are, they're the only things I've had from Ikea that I dislike eating. I also recommend that you save yourself the $2 for a fountain drink because they're pretty lacking in my opinion. Not much to comment on for their service because there's minimal interactions except for asking for your hot dish and paying.

The food here reminded me of when I was in the military with the exception of even though they showed about 10 different choices of what you can eat. They only had one thing meatballs with mashed potatoes and peas. They were supposed to have two different kinds of fish they had none they had no other vegetables. They did have macaroni and cheese, so let's talk about the food. Absolutely no seasoning on anything whatsoever. The Lincoln berry was the star of the dish. It made everything sweet and it did taste pretty good by itself. The meatballs were very processed and that they reminded me of banquet or frozen meatballs. The mashed potatoes were not real potatoes at all it was Water tasted like water. No taste whatsoever were frozen peas were cooked. Everything was warm but again for the price they charge. It was crazy that people would actually wait that line for this stuff style but only one quarter of the food vans had actual food in them they weren't serving everything else. It was a total bust. I would never come here again. It was a complete waste of time the foodwas lower quality, then old country buffet or anything like that

What started out as just a shopping trip turned into a lunch outing. It's been years since I've been to an IKEA and that long since I ate there in their cafeteria style restaurant. We decided to sample a couple things and I have to say my favorite was not the Swedish meatballs, but the salad with lox. Very fresh and outstanding that came with a little potato salad that was tasty as well.

Meatballs were meh, nothing special. An order of those, texas toast, small salad, potato pancakes and a drink for $20 I thought was steep, especially considering how cheap the hot dogs are here. It's filling enough, but don't come here intending to eat unless you really have to because you're so hungry from aimlessly walking around the giant maze that is Ikea for hours. You order via a kiosk but the food came out quick. It was easy finding a table, although it was dirty.

We had lunch at the ikea cafe yesterday while shopping at ikea. Sitting in the cafe is always fun with colorful decor and nice views looking outside. We were very hungry and got a lot of food. We got the veggie balls platter - the veg balls were very flavorful and the gravy with it was good as well. It came with steamed vegetables and we got the lingonberry jam which is always our favorite. We also got the lemon crusted cod with mashed potatoes and peas. The cod was soo fresh and light. Flavor was amazing too! We also got the tea which is free for ikea family members. We also got the salmon plate with veggie medallion - so so good. And the fish was perfectly seasoned and flaky and fresh tasting. After a round of walking around, we got the strawberry vanilla swirl. Tbh I preferred the plain vanilla yogurt to this, plain vanilla is my favorite! Ikea cafe makes for a fun place to eat once in a while!

This is till my most favorite place to shop! It never gets old! They are having a pretty good sale happening now so stop in for some good savings!

What can I say just disappointed. I came to this place from Chicago for this dish. The mash was dry and the food on plate had no flavor, and the drinks don't get me started. Sparkling everything it's bad enough they took away the corn bread...but now the change in food.

Many things not in stock .. (isn't IKEA supposed to be a warehouse store?). Deliveries ALWAYS late - DAYS later than promised. Projects slowed waiting for IKEA's damn deliveries. Amazon delivers next day, sometimes even SAME day ... IKEA ...nope nope nope. UNACCEPTABLE. Clearly, IKEA should keep their stock at Amazon warehouses around the country and have Amazon deliver their stuff. Couple this with the IKEA store layout .. a rat maze - they make you walk through EVERY inch of the store just to get to an exit. It's disrespectful to customers and manipulative. I avoided IKEA for YEARS ... only went there this time because their DIY cabinetry was available nowhere else.

Love Ikea! I come here often for walks with my family if the weather is bad outside. Usually end up visiting the restaurant for a light snack and coming home with some household trinket or plant. We like walking around checking up the different set-ups. Love the Swedish meatballs and fried chicken at the restaurant. If you're a member, you can score a free cup of coffee every time you visit. Service has always been friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back here!

Nice walk around the store checking out all of the tables, chairs and home accessories. In the market for something I can put together myself; not too many steps and EASY directions. Anyone looking for Jurassic World Dominion dinos; Ikea has all of them and at a great price. Although, I did not find what I was looking for, I did leave with something. Chicken meatballs and a peg board.

To preface this I am not that big of a fan of ikea in general. I've been to this location a couple of times. Usually years in between my visits. Plenty of parking. Once you go up the escalator inside it's a madhouse. One of the things I can't stand is the free for all of parents letting their children run everywhere and jump/test out all of the furniture. Trying to maneuver through the crowds is one of the things that I don't like about the store. We were looking for a dresser and found one we liked. It said was available in multiple colors. Then when it came to picking out there was only the one color available. When it came to the line for checkout on my day of visit there were only 2 registers open. No joke took like 15 minutes to check out (at least, maybe longer). Cashier was friendly, but she could only do so much. When I left there was probably a good 30 people in each line.

14 carts in line now and only one cashier. Self checkout is backed up as well. Still waiting.

I actually came here to window shop because I've actually never been to an ikea in my entire life and it definitely was not my typical shopping experience. Like I had to go up an elevator through a maze of everything to get to the end. I know ikea is purposely designed like this too but literally this storm is full of brainstorming ideas for many rooms in my house and what I would want in my future man cave. The best part at the end of the journey you can find the discounted section and the food area that sells veggie dogs with chips and drinks for 4 bucks for the combo. What a great place worth visiting but the prices are really high!

Horrible shopping experience. Moved to the BACK of a line as if this were the year 1950. I can't say this was ALL staff however 1 staff member was very rude and as much as I don't want to say racist it really seemed like directing us to the end of the line was racially motivated. We even attempted to speak with the supervisor on duty and our concerns were dismissed.

- Customer service was really good. - The item I wanted was in stock. - The price was fair. - Thumbs down on the delivery end. Unfortunately there was a mistake made with the delivery. There was no easy way to fix it (not sure why) so the order was cancelled. Three stars due to the delivery mistake and never receiving the item I wanted. I pretty much wasted a lot of time to end up with nothing. Also, the refund process is redundant and slow.

Coming to IKEA is always a fun time to me, and I often stop by their restaurant and grab a quick bite. Their entry setup is SO much better than one in Schaumburg. There's one (1) single entrance that leads to you to dessert, appetizers, hot entree, soup, and pastries. I like their princess marzipan cake. It isn't too sweet and perfectly portioned. If you're an IKEA family member, you can get free coffee and tea with re-fills (value of $1, as of 04/07/2018). I recommend to come in during non-lunch or non-dinner hours to avoid the crowd. Seating is plenty, but you can even get a few more cups of joe, get some work done, and even chill for a little bit if they are not busy. Most food items they offer in the restaurant can be purchased at their market near the exit. They added the Icee type of drinks at their exit cafe near the checkout counters. However, the line is always long. Since we were done shopping, both hubby and I just wanted to leave and moved on. Oh well, that was understandable, so perhaps we will give a try next time.

The restaurant always has veg friendly options and the store is filled with people that are willing to assist your design needs.

The air conditioner was broken or not working - Idk - but it was so hot and miserable to shop, I cut my visit short. When I told the cashier - her reply was - you can go stand over there in the customer service line and wait to tell them. Hmmmm, or you could relay my complaint. I felt like I could have fainted it was so miserable. People don't shop when it's hot in the store.

I trick my husband into going shopping by saying "Let's go get some Swedish meatballs." It works every time. I don't know much else about the hot food offered here because I literally only come for the meatballs, but honestly you don't need anything else. If you don't know, the restaurant/cafeteria is located upstairs. You queue in line with options for dessert first, then entrees, then rolls, soups, and salad. I usually pick up a cheesecake, then my meatballs with lingonberries of course (they're pretty similar to cranberries... I'm not convinced they aren't the same), a roll, a cup, and I scadattle to a table. My husband is always disappointed when he remembers that they don't offer Coke products, but he needs to drink less sugar anyway. They do however have an unusually variety of fruity sodas (think: flavored soda water) and a cola variation. I usually go with the pear soda. So if you can't tell... the meatballs are sooo good! They're never dried out and always have the perfect ratio of meatball to gravy and mashed potatoes. And if you are a fiend like me, you can add four more for a dollar, but the normal portion is actually a good amount. I did also mention I normally grab a cheesecake and I'll say they're really not memorable other than the fact that most days the fruit is still a little frozen, but I keep getting them because it feels like the right way to end a meal. And price wise it's all relatively inexpensive so it doesn't hurt my heart to pay to eat something that's just okay. Outside of the kids drop off area downstairs, there is a play place upstairs in the restaurant too... you just have to watch your own kids. The area surprisingly stays clean and it's all pretty open so you can sit just about anywhere if you have the kiddos along. I will forever be a fan of the IKEA Swedish meatballs and I will continue to trick my husband into thinking we're just going there for them.

I always wanted to try the food here and finally had the chance to. This overall experience is this: if you are in the store shopping, go ahead and eat here. Otherwise there are probably better places to eat in the area. The line was short and the people serving you are nice. The food is not bad, but not great. The broccoli cheddar soup is for sure not worth getting. They had no more salads left even though it was 6 pm on a Saturday. But most importantly the portions are really small. This is not the place to fill up on food if you're starving.

IKEA Restaurant offers fresh meals at low prices. Most of the items are organic. They have beautiful salmon plates, salads, and a soup du jour. Of course, the top seller is the $6 meatball plate: a dozen meatballs with gravy, mashed potatoes, and lingonberry sauce. Sometimes it includes a veggie, too. There are more than 5 kid's meals and many families eat here. Hence the super noisy restaurant. A big lunch with pastry and coffee is $9 US. That's a good deal.

I went into this restaurant and thought I was in the kitchen of the county jail I work at. The food looked like it had been setting out. I order the food. I wait and I get the food. Upon going to the table I then noticed the Swedish meatballs were cold as Well as the vegetables and the soup was also cold. I complained to the manager and that person could care less. This place is ran horrible and I'd avoid it. No pepper in the pepper shaker for god sakes! I reached out to the customer service email and got a bs corporate response. This location needs to fire kitchen staff and start over. Your better off going elsewhere

We recently left Ikea in Bolingbrook with tears of joy recently all because of your wonderful sales coworker Phil in the Living Room department . You see, we are educators from Ukraine who are living with relations in the Chicago because of war . We have only been here short time and do not know about living here too much . Phil was very helpful in letting us understand IKEA but also walked us through the store assisting us with our purchases and making sure that we understood function of each item. As we ended our interaction , Phil asked us more about life in Ukraine and then spoke " Slava Ukrani" which means Glory to Ukraine . We cried on the way home. It's nice to know you have special person like Phil as a member of store team .

IKEA's food sucks, after I was done eating and almost done drinking my coffee I noticed hair in my up. I went up spoke to one of the service ladies and all she said was "oh that's a first, that never happened here it gets washed in a dishwasher." no APOLOGY no nothing and she just walked away........rude? The service is blah, could open a few registers when u see the lines so LONG, reminds me of Walmart service. There's one old sweet lady at the door who greets and gives you a bag she's the only good thing about this location.

It's IKEA. A wonderful place for low to middle income people to get stylish furniture. What's not to love? Throw in some very low-priced food that is warm and tasty, and I don't see how anyone could complain. It's not an overwhelmingly personalized process - go through the line, get your food and seat yourself - but for a furniture store, again, how can you complain about simple and efficient. Plus, the meatballs are good and there are plenty of that's really all that matters when your sick of shopping & need a break.

First time getting food at ikea and I was impressed! With the prices and the food! There are so many options to choose from. Beef, chicken, salmon, veggies, soups, garlic bread! Salads, juice boxes! Was an awesome experience visiting Sweden in Illinois.

Pros: It's cheap. Dinner for 2 was $5. The food was decent. The guy working was nice. Cons: The food was only decent. The place was an absolute mess. No plates. Seriously. They didn't have plates so we had to eat off napkins.

This review is specifically for their kitchen services. If you are planning on working with Ikea to remodel your kitchen, don't do it! I unfortunately had a bad experience with one associate named Jonathon, and it just soured my whole experience with them. Also, I paid for their installers to come measure, and I get there, and the designer starts complaining about the measurements! Saying that it did not make sense. After spending three hours (!) with the designer, I finally get a design, which he then could not send to me digitally for who knows what reason. There was one space left that I needed to make a decision on, and after talking to three different kitchen associates and being told that I didn't need an appointment if I was just going to make a change to the design, I decided to go in only to be met by Jonathon who essentially didn't care that three of his colleagues had told me that I could come in to make a design change. He said he was alone (even though there was someone else there working with a customer), and that he couldn't help me because the change was going to affect more than one cabinet. Of course none of this was explained to me by the three other people who I spoke with so it just seemed like he was making things up or was, for whatever reason, not willing to help me? Because I'm Asian? Just makes you wonder sometimes why you seem to be singled out and treated poorly. It wasn't as if there was a line of customers waiting to be helped! Maybe he needed to check his personal email? God forbid he actually do his job and help a customer! Also, check out the complaints against Traemand on the better business bureau's website. This is the company they use for installation. They don't seem very reliable.

You can't go wrong with having a restaurant in this large of a store!! Food is super cheap and very delicious and if you are a Ikea family member, free coffee!! Discounts on everything! Meatballs is what we come for. The salmon is also so Good! The desserts are good as well and you can buy everything they serve, frozen to take and make at home!

Some of the food was tastier than I would expect, such as Chicken Tender and Fries, Swedish meatballs, and Marzipan, which was pretty delicious with vanilla custard filling with a layer of berry jam coated in light strawberry marzipan. The Chicken fries dish had crisp well-seasoned skin, rendered of excess fat, and yet still moist and tender inside. The Swedish meatball with creamy sauce had a unique flavor which is worth a try. Other dishes like Braised beef, which was quite dried, corn bread, and chocolate cake are just mediocre. However, the price of the meal was very reasonable, ranging from $1 to $8 with the big-enough portion for lunch. The fountain sodas were $1, free refill. All in all, this restaurant is doing its job so good as to keep the customers stay inside IKEA as long as possible.

First time ever. & for the COVID time They were good store especially being so big. IKEA the only thing I wish they provided bags instead of the customers having to buy they bags.

IKEA calls it a restaurant, I would call it a cafeteria. You queue in line; grab a cafeteria tray; grab a dessert, salad, or other pre-portioned side dish in the refrigerated cases; make your way to the hot-dish area where you tell the foodservice worker which meal you want (meatballs, fish, mac-n-cheese, etc.); grab an empty beverage cup; pay; fetch your own drink, silverware, napkins; eat; bus your own table by taking plates and garbage to the Tray Return area. If you are spending a lengthy amount of time at IKEA or have impatient kids, then the cafeteria is a decent place to take a break, rest, and eat. The cafeteria is on the second floor, and one wall has very large wall-to-wall windows that overlook the parking lot. For me, the quality of the food seems to have declined. I remember years ago being really satisfied with the Swedish Meatball dinner, but now it just seems kind of Meh-Okay. Or maybe it's just that my own Swedish Meatball recipe is tastier. The Swedish Meatball dinner comes with 8 meatballs. I seem to recall in years past, that it came with 10 or 12 meatballs. It is a GOOD VALUE though... a very filling lunch of Swedish Meatballs, mashed potatoes, vegetable, and lingonberry sauce for $4.99 plus tax (sans drink). As far as the meatballs, you have the choice of the standard pork-and-beef, chicken, or vegetarian. I sampled a vegetarian meatball and it was pretty good. They do offer other items but I couldn't tell you what they are--never checked them out, lol. After all, it is IKEA so it only seems fitting to have SWEDISH MEATBALLS !! While the food is average (what you expect from a cafeteria), I must say the dessert was amazing, something you would find in mom-n-pop bakery. We had the Almond Cake with Chocolate. It was rich and delicious. If they sold it in the IKEA grocery store, I surely would have bought an entire cake just for my greedy self, lol.

Always happy at IKEA. Since we were gonna spend more than $100 on household items we decided to go all out on at the restaurant and try some new stuff in addition to stuff we always get. Good tip, you get the amount of your restaurant bill off of your ikea bill if the ikea bill is over $100. So we ordered our standards gravaux lax (cured raw salmon) and meatballs. Those were great as usual. Also snagged the newer veggie balls which were bland. The white bean soup was not that good either. We did enjoy the smoked salmon and veggies a lot. Finally the lingonberry juice was perfect. And my husband enjoyed his free coffee. We'll definitely be back when we need to get that perfect piece of furniture only ikea has...or when I simply get the itch to be in one of my happy places.

Perfect for when you are at Ikea all day and need a break. The food isn't spectacular. I wouldn't suggest coming here just to eat lunch and leave. Pretty good food for the buffet, large scale, food line process though. Obviously the Swedish Meatballs are probably the best selling item but they actually have a lot more. If I ever need to stop in Ikea to get some things and I have my child with me - I make sure to come on a Tuesday. Tuesdays kids eat free with a purchase of an adult meal. My girl certainly loves her carbs so I usually get her the pasta with a side of garlic bread. She is in heaven with that meal! The pops are not your typical Pepsi or Coca Cola brands FYI. You can get a cola, diet cola, pear soda, orange soda, etc. Cheap meal while shopping, good hot coffee, and chocolate cake... what more would you need? Word to the wise, bus and clean your own table please. They have signs explaining the concept, just follow the damn rules and make things easier for the next person. Thanks bunches.

A highlight of shopping here is enjoying the fabulous Swedish meatballs! They have gotten healthier with steamed vegetables with every dish. Limited menu but great classics and very fast service. Self serve beverages allows for refills. Perfect price with a kids menu that rocks! The thrifty Scandinavians got this one right! You can also purchase frozen meatballs to go when you are leaving the store! A great break when you are shopping!

How anyone can rate this less than 5 stars, I don't know. I cannot comment on the lunch food, but every day from 9:30AM to 10:00AM, they offer a $1 breakfast complete with scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes! For a dollar more, they also include Swedish pancakes with a fruit preserve topping. And the cherry on top? FREE coffee/lattes/americanos/cappuccinos during this time! People, it's one freaking dollar for an entire breakfast plate! You cannot go wrong at all!

Any store that offers a place to eat is worthy of my vote. This restaurant is cost effective, strives to ensure that nothing is wasted (environmentally conscious) and the food was delicious. I have Swedish Meatballs, mash potatoes, mixed veggies and a drink for about $10. After eating my wife received no complaints from me during our lengthy shopping trip.

Transport yourself into a Truly European style cafe. The large open spaces and floor to ceiling windows make you feel like you're actually in Sweden and not the suburbs of Chicago... Ok enough fantasizing That I was in Europe... let's get to the point. The style here is definitely cafeteria style you get in line grab a tray and tell the "lunch lady" what you want granted they tend to be far nicer here! The options vary by season but the Swedish meatballs stay year round that is their staple and they are damn good so are the vegetable balls with the lentil sauce! I had a full meal for under 10$ including a cup of organic coffee which is always a plus The place is clean the staff is nice the food is very good .. if you don't mind walking into a furniture store for a meal then definitely come by and check it out ! Your buds won't be mad

I'm always a fan for their meatballs. The gravy makes it distinct since it adds a unique flavor to it. Dipping the meatballs in the sweet lingonberry sauce adds a kick with the gravy.

The store is a little bit of a maze to walk through if you are in a hurry. If you pay attention there are cut through doors on the walls. The cookware is a good price and the quality has been good. Have bought furniture a couple of times and it has been ok. You definitely get more than you pay for. Assembly goes pretty smooth if you are ok at following pictures for directions. My daughter bought some furniture for her dorm room and had no problem putting it together. Bought some closet organizers with drawers and shelfs about 4 years ago and they have held up well. They have a lot of ideas for closet ideas. Sales people can be a little hard to find and getting help to load stuff into you car also.

I had the standard Swedish meatball medley. Usually if I pick something else, I get meatball envy. We were there on a Saturday around 1:00 and the place was packed. We waited in line a long time. The one cashier seemed to be the rate limiting step. It not good when I'm hangry and a long que cuts into my time to pursue the wonders of Scandinavian design.

The store itself is ok, i learned that not everything you see online are displayed in the store even if they carry the items. The food section has always been disappointing and we will definitely not eat there in the future. We have been there many times during non rush hour and they have not been able to serve me a complete meal due to machine broke down or ran out of food. Mind you that we usually go there either at the beginning of lunch or dinner. On my previous visit, the fries machine broke down and they substituted dry rice instead. How does one eat dry rice?

It's not everyday I eat at IKEA, but when I do, it usually starts off with me thinking of how I should do it more often, then ends with swearing to never do it again. But those 99-cent non-fat frozen yogurt cones, y'all. They get me EVERY.DAMN.TIME. Even when I'm able to resist and make it past the first floor fro-yo station, the dagnabbit stupid Ikea maze always leads me to the second floor cafeteria fro-yo station. To be fair, the fro-yo cones are probably the best and most easily pronounced thing Ikea sells, so I don't feel bad about getting one cone right when I come here and another for the road because everyone knows shopping at Ikea is stressful as hell and I'm a stress eater. The cafeteria food beyond the fro-yo isn't the worst thing ever, but it's borderline terrible... which means that the first few bites are stomach-able, but half-way in there's a lot of regrets, perhaps some sweating, and the sinking feeling that your pizza crust may contain pieces of cost-effective particle board. The only exception (besides the first exception of fro-yo) are the Swedish meatballs... because those are basically the Swedish equivalent of pizza... which I realize is a confusing thing to reference given I also used pizza in an earlier example in this review, but think of their Swedish meatballs in the sense that even when they're bad, they're still pretty good. In the end, it's Ikea. You probably came for the furniture, and stayed because you got lost in their maze and need to replenish your lost fluids and nutrients in their cafeteria that serves food that kind of tastes like their furniture.

We were already hungry when we arrived at IKEA, which was our first mistake. As soon as we walked in, I saw a sign promising colorful images of delicious-looking food. We walked through IKEA, looking forward to when we would discover the delicious aromatic food. We finally found a cafeteria area, but it was almost completely empty. There were no workers in sight even though the store didn't close for two more hours. It was confusing. Was the food area open or not? There were no signs to indicate either way. We peered over at the food, which looked seriously unappetizing. There were some pre wrapped meals with plastic wrap covering them that really didn't get me excited about eating there. The food looked sad, like it had been sitting there all day. Even though my stomach was rumbling, I was secretly thankful no one seemed around to serve us because the food didn't look good at all. The cinnamon buns get an A+, though! These were available at a stand located right next to the doors after going through the cash register area. I had heard about these and knew they weren't to be missed. For just $1, we split a big cinnamon bun, hot, gist, and fresh out of the oven. These aren't to be missed! The bun definitely redeemed my otherwise lackluster experience with the cafeteria situation at IKEA. Next time I come, I'll skip the food and pick up a cinnamon bun at the end of I'm hungry.

Well, I went to Ikea restaurant today, on September 24th 2015 the line was a little bit long , about 7 people in front of me ,there was only one guy working ,he was an African American guy, and the reason why , I say that is because, there was another guy there , a white guy , and it was really funny cuz ,he looked at the line how long it was and left , I was thinking to myself, where in a heck is he going, can you believe he didn't come back for like 10 minutes, so, the first guy helped everybody , the last time I was there, a woman there gave me an ice cream, I think it was for like a three year old toddler, didn't even have one complete turn of ice cream, check out the ice cream this brother gave me now, that's an ice cream that makes up for last time, he was very nice, humble and that's two qualities I really like, I give ikea 3 stars because management should have paid more attention to this guy working alone and getting someone to help him but I give him 5 stars

If you like Swedish meat balls go no further. Yes it is a restaurant inside of a furniture store but the food is pretty good. You can leave your shopping for a few minutes then resume after eating. The kids like it too.
