Find Crispy Chicken Taquitos at the Ikea in Burbank - Eater LA

"Ikea Burbank has added two chicken taquitos served with sour cream to its menu for $1.99. The taquitos are a temporary addition, with no plans to offer them at other locations. The Burbank menu also includes rice and beans, plantains, and the restaurant's well-known items like Swedish meatballs and marinated salmon." - Rebecca Roland

Ikea Burbank is a solid spot for furniture shopping with a great selection and clean layout. That said, it can be a bit challenging to find your way around, especially if it’s your first time. Finding staff to ask questions can also be hit or miss, which makes navigating the massive store a little frustrating at times. On the bright side, their restaurant is a real highlight! It’s perfect for recharging if you’re doing a serious shopping session that lasts an hour or two. The meatballs are classic, and the food overall is fresh and satisfying. Don’t leave without trying their ice cream, it’s simple, creamy, and the perfect treat after a long walk through the store. Overall, despite a few navigational issues, it’s still a great place to shop.

What a pleasure an IKEA trip is. From the moment you enter and make the choice to navigate the maze of showrooms, your adventure begins. Tons of inspiration, products, practicality, whimsy, value, and an increasing amount of high quality products, all with a focus on sustainability. Take a picture of the tags of all the items you're interested in. After the showrooms, you have the option to stop for some famous Swedish Meatballs, which you should do. The cafe even offers pasta with tomato sauce for something like $2. It feels good to shop and eat at an establishment which has not yet succumbed to the depths of corporate greed. And ironically, the IKEA cafe has one of the best restaurant views in Burbank. The last stop is the marketplace and warehouse, where you pick up everything you saw on the display floor above. While it can get crowded, the whole experience is efficient and streamlined. For me, an IKEA trip is genuinely fun.

This location is huge and full of great deals. It’s clean and staff are friendly. The bathrooms are clean and plenty of parking. The food court has the best Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, peas, and lingonberry sauce. The juice is tasty too. It’s cafeteria style. They have desserts and coffee too. We go for lunch sometimes. Ten out of ten recommend.

This IKEA is huge. It is a great spot for buying furniture. All the items look good and have a high quality. There are so many different things for home. Some of them are cheap, some of them are expensive. The IKEA restaurant is good. The meatballs are soft and delicious. And it also doesn’t cost a lot. You can get pasta and 4 meatballs for $2. It is pretty good deal. Overall, I like this shop.

I am reminded of how amazing this place is—how fashionable many of their products are and how reasonable priced and useful so much of what they sell is. You can get just about anything here! You furnish and accessorize an entire empty home here and I mean a ‘shell’ as they sell everything you need to nut only fully build bathrooms and kitchens from the appliances to the utensils to the towels—but the same goes for backyards, garages, laundry rooms, bedrooms etc. It’s hard to beat their kitchen and bathroom cabinets for the money and quality! Their beds and bedding are more than adequate and there shelving and size and design options are unbeatable. Their closet options and accessories are also unbeatable for the money. There’s lots of fun other things when spending a day there which you can easily do! From food to snacks to stuffed animals!

My visit to IKEA Burbank was a delightful journey through home furnishing inspiration. Spending about two hours exploring their expansive showroom, I was impressed by the range of stylish and affordable options available. Each display is expertly curated to spark creativity in home design, making it easy to envision how the pieces could fit into different living spaces. What stands out about IKEA is not just the quality and pricing of their products but the overall shopping experience. The showroom seamlessly guides you through various aesthetic styles, ensuring there's something for everyone. Following the showroom tour, the Market Hall provided a plethora of accessories, perfect for complementing any furniture purchase. A standout feature for families is the Småland children's play facility, which allows parents to shop with ease while their kids enjoy supervised playtime. It's a thoughtful addition, making IKEA a family-friendly destination. The in-store restaurant is another highlight, offering a varied menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's a convenient stop mid-shopping spree, serving tasty and affordable meals that cater to all ages. For those looking for flexibility, IKEA Burbank offers comprehensive services like delivery, click and collect, as well as assembly and installation. This ensures a hassle-free experience from shopping to set-up at home. Overall, IKEA Burbank delivers on its promise of quality, value, and a fun shopping excursion suitable for the whole family. Whether you're revamping a space or just seeking inspiration, it's a destination well worth the visit.

Google
IKEA is an art and decor museum/labyrinth !!! The staff here seems so willing, ready and able to help !!! I love that you can grab a bite to eat before wandering !!! Or chill and study in the dining area !!!

Google
Really nice size Ikea, and the Bistro is a great option even when not shopping. They have Ikea Family Member weekly specials. Today, I had the plant ball plate for $3 when it normally costs $8.99. A lot of food options and a large dining area.

Yelp
1st time indulging in a IKEA Lunch assembly line. Their staff is helpful and quick at replenishing their selection. I enjoyed the variety of proteins and sides. It was also interesting to see that there are different deals depending on which day of the week it is. My expectations were pretty low but with the right seasonings their food is actually tasty! The Swedish meat balls were delicious and filling. I had a hot coffee which also tasted like a nice basic cup of brew. Overall their dining area is so spacious, brightly lit with natural light with the enormous glass windows. Would definitely do this again, an amazing deal!

Yelp
Update: Ikea has taken this complaint seriously, which is s huge green flag. For the past month or so Ikea has consistently had the soft serve working every time ive been here, and I visit at least oce or twice a week. Well done Ikea, well done I'm very happy to see even "little" issues taken care of effectively. Old review from over 1 month ago: Do not bother going for the forzen yogurt its always "out" i go every other day and its maybe working one day out of the week if I am lucky. All i wanted was the nice tasty and cheap frozen yogurt/ice cream. But no, cant have that working at IKEA. Huge international corporation cant keep the soft serve machine stocked and running? One star for sure.

Yelp
Good design at good prices at this largest IKEA in the USA. And a great place for an indoor stroll when it's too wet or hot outside, you can literally walk for miles. Just follow the arrows on the floor. If you feel lost or just need to leave, there are overhead maps with shortcuts, or ask any employee. Quality is generally good (upholstered goods are uneven). You can decorate an entire house here at once with classic and modern pieces that are easy to digest. Also easy to digest -- the delicious swedish meatball lunch (vegetarian version available) at the reasonably priced cafe. Can be busy on weekends. Take a picture your parking space as the covered lot is gigantic! A very well run store full of interesting things for your home.

Yelp
Cheap quick bite. They have a wide variety at their food court or you can grab a quick snack at the exit. They are properly staffed to get through the food court rush.

Yelp
This IKEA was walking distance from our hotel. It's supposedly the largest IKEA in Northern America. There's tons of parking. Yes it seems huge but really not much different than other locations. The restaurant is very large and has a garden feel. Definitely should check it out.

Yelp
This ikea sucked back in 2008 when I bought a kitchen from them and I had to intercept the order because it was sooooo delayed and it sucks still. I placed a small order yesterday for pick up today between 1-2 pm. it's 3:30 and it's STILL NOT READY!!! Whyyyyyy?????? You can't call, you can't talk to anyone, the chat is a bot. Your only choice is to go there, park, get out of your car, run the 10k aisles and stand in line and get your stuff in your car. Everyone else, all the big box retailers have mastered drive up, why haven't you IKEA???

Yelp
We absolutely love walking through IKEA. A fun place to be inspired by great and affordable ideas for our home. The maze is a bit much, but if you know your way around the store, you can zip right through. The selections are plenty and the prices are very fair. Service was fantastic this time around as well. We needed an item to at didn't have and they found it for us closer to our home with next day pick up. So, while the to this location didn't quite serve its purpose, we were still able to get what we needed just a day later. Very grateful! Place is always clean. Love the kiddos play area and always easy to find great parking.

Yelp
(Shopped 04/29/24 MO @ 8:00pm): IKEA... it's not just for Swedish meatballs, although I loved those! This was the first time I visited IKEA's relatively new Burbank location, since they moved here years ago from the former San Fernando Rd. address. Known for their home decor, office furniture, and their assortment of food, I've personally purchased some furniture over the years, but I was really a fan of their food! This was especially true when I used to work next to their aforementioned former location, and I partook in my lunch break in IKEA's cafeteria. No food for me this time around, I was here in search of a replacement bathroom mirror for a newly-remodeled vacant apartment. This item was one of the last things I needed before it was ready for showing. Would I key in on a proper mirror to finish this unit!? PURCHASE Enhet Mirror Door/Glass 18"x30" ($30.00): Unable to readily find this at The Home Depot, Lowe's, or even the local hardware store my family has shopped at for decades, J & J Trading Post Inc., I found this which was nearly exactly what I was looking for! At the very least, it was similar to the other bathroom mirror (the dimensions were slightly different), but it did the job! The thought never ever crossed my mind to consider IKEA as an option for any apartment remodel/repairs materials. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=bRFhNRzwInna5mSprfmXCg SERVICE I was greeted by a jolly young man who helped me search through their directory as to where this item was located. Once that was established, off I went on a journey that ultimately took me about 10 minutes to find it with a few wrong turns along the way. Once I had it in-hand https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=zWIPgspYhZykijWUgamSlw and checked other similar items in the same area, I grabbed it and headed to the checkout counter, where multiple lines were open, and I was able to get through quickly - greatly appreciate! PARKING (FREE) They had their own huge private lot - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A ginormous cavernous warehouse store that conceivably could've had its own zip code. I swore, everything that you imagined that belonged in a home or office was found here with the exception of major appliances and electronics as far as the eyes could see. Entire rooms were set up that gave you ideas. If you needed a plush blue whale https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=mOXwoy6Y6antC-0qVVsqGg they had those, too! Wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling, you could hours as you walked throughout the place as it snaked its way around. Hardly any natural lighting except at the front entrance, there was a ton of assorted electric ceiling lights that lit your way through. I didn't notice any TVs nor background music. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=1n4NLL8ClJxO89JYjwiNBw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Burbank's IKEA location was a country unto itself, and I loved it! Because I personally wasn't in need of any home or office furnishings, there really wasn't a need for me to shop here... except for this fortuitous moment. Otherwise, I wanted to return and reintroduce myself to their awesome cafeteria and lovely food. Their product mix was second-to-none, the quality was generally fine, the prices very affordable, and the service was decent as it was more DIY excluding the greeter and cashiers which was fine by me. I found total value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $33.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Yelp
This IKEA is the Walt Disney World of all IKEA locations in North America!! It surely deserves more love than its current rating. Definitely 5 stars from me! From the baby blue Volvo 245 Wagon stacked with moving boxes at the front entrance (Returns door), to the fabulous Showroom floor with thoughtful, colorful, and functional designs, I really love shopping here!! On my first visit, I was overwhelmed with the amount of customers. Familiar with LA traffic? Yep, same at this IKEA. It is night and day compared to the Las Vegas location. Nevertheless, I can easily spend ~2 hours every visit. I'm always inspired to change up my spaces without having to break the bank! If you want to avoid the large crowds, do not visit on a Saturday. Either come on a weekday or Sunday morning. Returns? Check in by registering at one of the kiosks and standby in one of the many comfy sofas. Great prices. Functional household goods and furniture. Easy to assemble. Best and very affordable artificial plants. Oh! Their bedroom linens....I'm a big fan!! Service is always friendly and patient, even at the returns desk!! :-)

Yelp
I love IKEA. And I love this location WAY more than the previous Burbank location. You can find so much from furniture to kitchen dishes, lamps and more. Huge & easy parking lot. I went looking for holiday ornaments and ideas today and found them. Most of our furniture is from IKEA. I will always enjoy shopping here.

Yelp
I recently discovered that this Ikea also serves breakfast at the cafe. A small breakfast that comes with eggs, breakfast potatoes and 2 pieces of bacon is only $2.49. That is such a great deal! The breakfast plate is actually pretty good. I also like to get their cinnamon scones for breakfast. It is always fresh and unlike most scones, the inside of this scone is very moist and chewy. It pairs well with their hot coffee. Ikea is a great place to have an affordable delicious breakfast.

Yelp
IKEA Burbank in Los Angeles is a massive store. It's a one stop shop for all your home furnishing needs. The layout of the store and warehouse is well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find one is looking for. The parking lot is so huge and it's easy to find a spot. The staffs are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. There's a food court with affordable and tasty options. A great place for shopping and ideas for home improvement!

Yelp
Often imitated, never duplicated! -------------------------------- If you want to know why IKEA is going gangbusters in their self assembly furniture business, all you have to do is look at the competition, for example at Target. See my separate review. We returned that hot garbage ASAP and booked it over here. Here, the pieces just WORK. Yes I know it is particleboard. But the X factor are the instructions that are extremely precise (without words!), and the 1-2 combo of metal straight screw (with screw lock) and wooden dowels. This ensures that there is enough strength in the finished product. The wooden dowels fit in snugly to the pilot holes, no wobbling. They even had a plastic extender to the hex key which is a torque multiplier. Now that is pretty smart. They even had black stickers to cover up extra holes. That shows an amazing attention to detail.

Yelp
I still feel like IKEA is pretty clean and has most of what I'm looking for when I'm here. I was wrong before about the cafeteria not having seats. There are plenty of seats. It's so spacious that it's like a public school cafeteria but with nicer chairs and tables. I remember trying to buy a bed frame and also could have used shower curtains. I got the bed frame and happened to see the shower curtains on the way out. It was nice to pick up things like this to avoid a second trip elsewhere. However, during that trip, I encountered something really annoying. There were no instructions available to tell you what different items are needed. Yes, the bed frame had two boxes that you need to pick up. No one said anything about needing the slatted bed base or center support beam. I had to make another trip out here to pick up the missing items. I attached a photo of the MALM instructions, which would be more useful being posted in the store or online for reference. Why can't they use words?

Yelp
I love IKEA. I am at the stage in my life where I don't want to go through the whole stage room, I want to get my stuff and leave. This last particular day, in Dec, they actually had a drink class. That was fun, it was mocktails of course. They mixed drinks with the elderflower and longan berry syrups. My son and I tried the drinks and learned a few things about making mock tails with syrup and carbonation. Overall, we picked up a few essentials, the famous clear storage bags, and had a few snacks on the way out ! Everything is always decently priced so i never feel like I overpay for things here. We did well that day.

Yelp
This store is so much fun to visit! We love traveling through the vast upstairs showrooms, thinking about how amazing it would be to live in the -500sq foot apartment just like the set ups! Props to whoever sets the rooms up! Downstairs is way more then I ever needed but I still have to have (and got)! The plates and that look like white Corelle are amazing, so light and sturdy at the same time. The duvets are in abundance and the assortment of couches is large! We were looking for a dining room table and saw a few contenders. I appreciate that they have sizes for all price points, I wish they had tables that you could add leaves to for more than 6 people though. The cinnamon rolls, Christmas "juice" and random household wares are great! Food: the Swedish meatballs and lignanon berry are always Delicious! The whole meal needed a good salt and pepper this time though. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese were very watery and tasteless this time, usually they are good! First time trying the barbecue sandwich, SKIP IT! Egg rolls were a bit like the Santa Fe egg rolls from Cheesecake Factory, the dessert plate was 5/10, the cute green almond paste dessert: do NOT get, no one liked it at all (and that is out of 8 people!) All in all, go for the goods and the meatballs!

Yelp
This review is only about the food~ The Service: Self kiosks on the ground floor, selling drinks, snacks, hot dog, pizza, dessert & etc. Super fast service! Very cheap prices too! The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. 2 cashiers. During lunch time.... the line is ridiculously long! The Food: They increase the prices so it is not super good deal for the portion of the food. They do have good varieties of food & dessert. The Parking: Lots of underground parking spaces (free)

Yelp
I love coming to IKEA and getting inspired with new ideas for my home. This weekend we visited to enjoy a holiday event for families. They had a gnome scavenger hunt and gingerbread cookie decorating free of charge you just had to sign up online. I highly recommend checking out what events they have going on so you can register ahead of time. We also checked out the dinning and enjoyed some plant based meatballs as well as their Swedish meatballs. Everything was very tasty! My plate typically comes with green peas but I was able to substitute for corn and zucchini.

Yelp
I have a love hate. Impossible to find an employee, often has things out, and is a nightmare to get to even if you do live in Burbank. I also find that things just don't ship there ‍ Otherwise, it's ikea. A good way to kill and afternoon.
google avatar

Angela G.

Yelp
If you have kids and need to kill some time, take them here! : ) First if you are an IKEA Family member there are special deals that you can get for food. I was able to get 2 kids meals today for free after buying an adult meal. Just know the food is just ok in my opinion. But it got the job done. I took my miss to the kids club and I felt confident with the woman working there. She seemed very sweet. But since I don't trust many, I sat in the lobby and did my shopping on the computer to feel close to my kids. Then when it was time to pick them up, we went upstairs to find what we were looking for. The kids came out happy and said they had a pleasant time. Then as we walk through the store, the kids loved trying out the things in the kids section. We ended up being in there for about 3 hours and they didn't even want to leave! So obviously this could be a great way to beat the heat and keep the kids entertained. Just go that it will be nearly impossible to get out of there without spending money. :)

Yelp
We returned to Ikea yesterday after a couple of years . We're just 9 miles away. We had a delicious lunch and then started our trek through the store. We picked up a few plates and bowls and some other items. It just seems that when we're ready to leave, it's difficult navigating back to the front of the store. There's not enough signage and not enough employees on the floor. Also, the arrows should be a little more demonstrative. After asking 2 employees, we finally made it back to the front. We will return soon for lunch and another trek but hopefully less time leaving the store.

Yelp
I could spend all day in IKEA from the nostalgia of childhood [enjoying the Småland play area and space at the location in Carson - movies, ballpit, games, toys and coloring] to shopping it up with the inner kid still in all of us imagining that new rug, cozy blanket or kitchenette becoming apart of a revamp or renovation. Great deals and prices an lots of furniture from bedroom to home office to your outdoor spots. The service on the floor as well as at checkout is always great. It starts off with a very this could be your house series of displays. Amazing kitchen sets, that feel better than any set decorating or dressing [if you've ever done a studio tour or been to a comedy series taping]. Usually appliances, fixtures, fridges, panels and curtains are all highlighted. All these items for sale in store as well as online will have a tag w/ pricing. And the prices are often bailing on a budget! Which is probably why IKEA is so great! The parking is massive but it's very grand driving in and out, like a full experience [not a simple in and out]. The way things wrap around and all the space they have for large purchasing loading is unmatched as well as unbound. It almost feels like driving in or out of Universal Studios/Universal Citywalk, excepting parking is very free at IKEA. Accesses to restrooms and lockers, set a pin - it's free [first come, first serve]. And if you forget they have a supervisor who can help you access and/or reset. Large flat bed carts as well as classic metal for shopping. Everything is organized, but the store is endless - the largest location in the U.S. and North America [456,000 sq ft]... Bring/wear some good shoes for walking. Don't forget to indulge in the Swedish restaurant and market, which has gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan/plant-based options.
google avatar

Yelp
This is for the food review. I had the Swedish meatballs for the first time here and OMG! I literally licked my plate clean and even cleaned my peas to the very last green ball. Noooooooow, I totally get the hype.

Yelp
Review for cafes only! I had some time to window shop, thus I decide to pop into IKEA on a Tuesday late in the afternoon! Was quite pleased to see that the store was relatively quiet unlike typical weekends! As my time was short, I thought I would browse IKEA quickly and spend most of my time relaxing in the cafe! IKEA has two places to get food. On the main floor just pass the checkout area is a to go cafe and their mini mart! At this place you can find hot dogs, drinks, ice cream and more! Hot dogs are very reasonably priced: all under a dollar. I was pleased to see they offer veggie dogs now too as I don't eat pork dogs! And the veggie dog only cost me 72cents: what a deal! I then progressed upstairs to the main cafe. At the main cafe you can get whole Swedish meals at good prices! Everybody must know the Tuesday dinner deal, as the cue was developing at 5pm. I just opted for a hot coffee! Note the restaurant has deals Monday-Friday! Seating area is huge! The window seats have great views of the mountain. A great place to relax in the midst of some extensive shopping. I had a great experience with my coffee staring out into the mountains! Next I need to try some food!

Yelp
I like some of the IKEA stuff for the price and the durability is fine, The bummer is when I buy a piece of furniture and I get all the way home and there's two or more screws or it's missing a tool to assemble it and you have to drive back to to get it. The service was good they helped me loaded into my car. Now it's at Pleasant experience of course the restaurant helps .

Chin W.

Yelp
I love IKEA, don't get me wrong, but you are as slow as molasses if a customer has to return an item. I bought the wrong sized picture frame for my little grandsons painting. I realized it when I got to the car (his paining was in there). It feels like I spent 20 minutes shopping and a lifetime returning

Yelp
The staff were very nice and the cola gummies are super good. I like how the second floor was the show room. The biggest one in North America, it's so good

Yelp
IKEA store: - tried picking up an online order here and they only had half of it ready when I showed up even though I got a notification it was ready. I let them know I had more items and they went and got them on the spot. Would give 2 or 3 stars for this experience since they were nice IKEA food court: - love everything about this. It's fairly quick, super affordable and pretty good quality. They have a lot of options for mains, sides, sweets and drinks. Would give 4 stars for the food court

Yelp
REVIEW FOR THE CAFE! Selection of food is really good‍ they cater to most diets. The cashier/workers are so friendly, like beyond friendly- I wanted to cry from being thankful/grateful. I'm a single mom, pushing my toddler in the cart & tryna hold a full tray, pay & get to a table w/o dropping all the food/plates on the tray while getting my kid there safely. The guy that was checking me out @ the cashier, had someone else man down the register while he showed me a kids friendly area & he walked my tray to a table while I pushed my son in the cart. That's A1 customer service & I appreciate him I wish I wouldn't caught his name

Yelp
This place is always packed with people browsing their assortment of products and design ideas for the home. Most staff is friendly and ready to answer all your questions. But mostly, what really draws the crowd is their restaurant. And earlier while I'm listening to the radio there's a poll about the best restaurant coffee and I agree with one the listener opinion IKEA have the best restaurant coffee out there. Aside from the many healthy food options reasonably priced. The restaurant vibe is so family friendly, relaxing and inviting.

Yelp
Still a fan of ikea! Just wish I lived in a bigger space to have all those great ikea model rooms come to life. Still check out the the "As Is" / clearance section in case u find exactly what u were looking for or something you didn't know u needed. Still stop by for lunch at their cafe orrr a quick hot dog on the go. My current fav lunch items are the salmon salad (that dill mustard dressing is YUM) and a slice of the chocolate caramel crunch cake. So so tasty and fulfilling. Plus prices can't be beat! I got the salad, a bowl of soup, slice of cake, coffee, and a sparkling water for $20... winning. Staff are still helpful and friendly.

Yelp
Another day trip to IKEA with mom, hunting for some new home decor. Was planning to have our favorite frozen yogurt cone but they ran out so we tried the new veggie Hot Dog and I was totally blown away by how flavorful and delicious it is. Ingredients: - Kale - Quinoa - Lentils - Onions - Wheat protein And topped with fried onions and pickled onions Quick and fair service, I'm so impressed what I am tasting. I might switch to vegan hotdog each time now. Reasonable price with great quality food.

Yelp
Yup. I did it. Yes we all do it. And I did it on a Saturday no less. At like 12:30/1PM on Sat. I had an itch and a few hours to spare and I rolled to IKEA Burbank, Ca. CRAZY!!! I know, whatever. I did it. I'd be fast. I knew what I needed but wanted a fresh perspective. I was on my way out with a few things and BAM!!!! Oh Boy. The IKEA Resturant & Cafe called me. And I answered with a Hell Yeah!!! These folks over here at IKEA. knew what they were doing many, many, many, years ago. I remember when they opened in Elizabeth, NJ wayyyyy back in the day. But who would have thought furniture-home decor from Europe would equate to good food too while shopping. Dude. I just spent $16.50 on Chx Tenders w/ Fries and a Salad with an ice tea for $16.50. Money well spent. I don't know who is supplying IKEA with the chow but I am very pleased. In and out in mins with super friendly service. BRAVO IKEA!!! And I was just gonna look at Medicine Cabinets.

Yelp
I've always gone to this IKEA even before they moved to the current location when it was just across California pizza kitchen btw it's gone now and always the service was good because the workers were always helpful and attentive if you can track one down haha this place is big! They always have good deals and products that are not bad in quality! The most thing I appreciate the most is the fact they have incorporated more and more Swedish food or at least what they might be selling in a Swedish grocery store I wouldn't know but i appreciate it because some of their products are good and theirs a variety of them. I frequent this place just to shop for furniture like most, going to their kitchen which btw I finally got to have their breakfast and it's decent, affordable and actually tastes pretty good and also I just go here to just walk around which is great exercise. You know overall I think this ikea is wonderful and it can only get better from here for me at least!

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant at IKEA. I don't understand how people eat here. The food looks and tastes like a freezer meal. The prices are high and it's tasteless. For the meatball plate with 18 small pieces of meatball is about $13 and the chicken tenders with fries is $9.99. The eating area is really huge so I'm thinking it gets packed. It was pretty busy today for lunch as well. There is no customer service so nothing to write about that. The eating area is nice with a lot of windows, bright and spacious. It's a great spot to take a break while shopping to get a cup of coffee or a snack.

Yelp
Skarlet deserves all the recognition! She was amazing and made us feel so comfortable with the whole experience! We even got teary when she showered us the 3D plan on the computer! She was patient and gave us great feedback as we kept changing our mind about the plan. Eveytime we felt overwhelmed and stressed she knew exactly how to clam us and make us feel excited about our project! She is a gem for ikea! Pay her well and keep her as long as you can because you can't find coworkers like her often! Thank you Skarlet for all your help! -Sat and Kris

Yelp
I see this place doesn't get the best reviews, but I've been to IKEA's from across the country, New York and California and I find the employees at this location to be the absolute best. They all have a great attitude. They're funny and extremely helpful maybe aside from the food court where they're a bit grumpy and have cold pretzels that are supposed to be warm and delightful, but I'm not taking away for, the grumpy food court employees and they're cold pretzels. Everyone else here has made up for their not great attitudes.

Yelp
This is one of the largest IKEA stores as told to me by the IKEA Burbank staff. Be prepared to get lost because it is a big store or ask for help while navigating your way throughout. They do have a wide selection. On my visits I've been able to find most things. There's been a couple of times when I've gone for a specific item that wasn't in stock even after checking the in-store kiosk for availability. I've also noticed vending machines filled with IKEA snacks for purchase located throught the store. This can help provide some fuel to continue shopping as once you get to a certain point there is no turning back. I learned that the hard way. It took me forever to retrace my steps for an item. They say there are shortcuts but it didn't seem like a short cut to me. The IKEA staff have been accessible and friendly, but like other IKEA stores it can be hard to find a staff person or track 'em down.

Yelp
Sorry Ikea, it's been a few years since our last visit as the restaurant was closed for over a couple of years.... Upon our return, we appreciate the member coffee being complimentary. We arrived for breakfast just before regular store hours. Parking was easy and free. These are the perks. Unfortunately, the breakfast and selection was subpar. The eggs are just odd. Are they powdered? Freeze dried and cooked in water? The look and texture are more like cottage cheese than egg. So we get our platter of the medium breakfast, taters, mystery eggs, 2 bacon strips, and 2 Swedish pancakes for $5.99. A very good deal for breakfast, and. of course, the coffee. So you order cafeteria style and have your food on a tray and wait in line for the sole attendant to ring you up. There was an employee on lunch or break behind us. The cashier asked if he could ring them up first. I get it it, because they are on limited time, and probably have to trek 3 miles from their work location to the cafe and back.... however, by the time we pay, collect silverware, try to fiddle around with the condiment dispensers which none of were working.... Note to Staff: Prime the pump. All the condiments had to be pumped and NONE of them produced any product.... I think whoever refilled didn't remove a safety seal.... anyway, who needs the extra calories, but a frustrating waste of precious time as the food now is colder than room temperature... What are you going to do about it... not worth the hassle. We took a lap through the store since it was now open. The prices seem quite a bit higher and the selection was limited in the food section. We used to get frozen Swedish pancakes and princess cake to go. They didn't have them. The frozen salmon and coffee prices have gone up significantly. There used to be some fantastic florentine cookies in a box, not anymore... So pretty disappointing after waiting so long for the cafe to reopen to visit.

Yelp
Just another IKEA. It was clean and organized like any other location. I visited on a Monday right at opening. It was lacking customer service everywhere I walked. I was not looking for anything in particular. Just enjoying my time strolling. Cafeteria was kind of confusing. Nothing really exciting to eat there after looking at menu and nutrition facts.

Yelp
My family has been going to IKEA forever since they were at their original space in Burbank across from B&N. Today, we went for breakfast (yes, meatballs for breakfast is a thing), and it was pretty good. They have a really inexpensive breakfast special for less than $3 "the small" and a medium breakfast for less than $6. Crepes seem to be the extra item that makes it bigger, but honestly, they aren't worth it. They're just OK. We walked so much just trying to get back to the exit, we walked almost 3,000 steps before 11 am. Go get your breakfast and steps in at IKEA!

Yelp
Dog poop in-store pick up service. Everything else in there was completely fine. Waited a total of 1 1/2 hrs. Got told my order number would be called put once its ready. Took 4 minutes to be "In Prep" after purchase. Told to wait 4 times during the 1 1/2 hrs, didn't even bother to check the number. Asked again, a sweet woman looked at the cart and confirmed it was hours. The cart has been there 10 mins after we purchased the item. Dude with short hair, no beard working the pick up section during the time frame we were there today at 7PM-10Pm is absolute dogshit.

Yelp
Their return section closes half an hour before the store closes, but they don't indicate this on their website or anywhere else. I rushed over and got there 20 minutes before the store closed, but they refused to accept my return. Wasted an hour of driving. Not sure if the return section actually closes that early or of the employees are just lazy.

Yelp
An Ode to An Early Weekday Dinner at IKEA Peaceful dining room. Dinner for two for thirty-three dollars. We watch as shoppers enter and grab a yellow bag.... I love this place!

Yelp
I picked up my items and I went back to the same guy that gave it to me to exchange 3 shelves that's visibly damaged. The same guy told me I have to do it with returns since I already took the item from him already. I never left the store. Waited for broken items over 30mins to begin with, another 15minutes for return to call me and another 20mins to get it replaced by the same guy. WTF don't give broken shit to customer. Wasted too much time.

Yelp
I'm surprised to see such a low rating on this IKEA location. Went yesterday to pick up some chairs -that were only available at this location, and could not be delivered to the IKEA closer to us-, but it was well worth the drive. We drove up to the 'click and collect' and waited probably 3 minutes and the guy came out to the car, made sure we were the correct customer and offered assistance loading and asking if we needed to have task rabbit assistance. We decided to park and walk in after getting our items, since we had made the drive out anyway. This location is huge, if you're used to the Costa Mesa location, this is at least double the size. This location has two food courts, one for sit down meals which is upstairs, and the other food court downstairs past the check out, for grabbing ice cream, a hot-dog, or my favorite a meatball sundae on the way out. We ate at both food courts, and the food was hot and delicious both times, not to mention once we got home and put together the actual furniture, we ended the night with full bellies and two new office chairs.

Yelp
This is a rather large multilevel IKEA, well stocked. Associates are nice and helpful. The selection sees more than most IKEAs. There's a rather large restaurant on the second level and a bistro near the checkouts. Large parking lot, as well as underground parking.

Yelp
What an experience. If you have a couple of hours to spend it is worth the time. The selections are amazing and the prices are affordable. There are many employees available to help you and check out is easy. I am going back.
