⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Fantastic Family-Friendly Shopping Experience! We visited IKEA this weekend as a family with two young kids and had such a great experience, we had to share! From the moment we walked in, everything felt designed with families in mind. The layout made it easy to navigate with a stroller, and there were plenty of spots where the kids could explore safely or take a break. The children’s section was a huge hit — our kids loved playing with the displays and testing out the colorful beds and mini furniture. It actually helped us make some smart choices for their bedrooms because we could see what they liked firsthand. The family restrooms and changing stations were clean and accessible, which we really appreciated. Also, shout out to the IKEA restaurant — the kids’ meals were super affordable, and there were healthy options too. Our toddler devoured the mac and cheese while we enjoyed some classic Swedish meatballs and a moment to relax. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we had questions about assembling the crib we bought. We even got everything we needed in one trip — toys, kid-friendly dishes, and storage solutions that actually make clean-up easier at home. IKEA is officially our go-to for stylish, affordable home goods and a surprisingly fun outing with the kids. Highly recommend to any family looking for a stress-free shopping trip!

Highly recommend signing up for IKEA’s loyalty rewards. Get the app its a must have. Tuesdays get you 5% off! I’ve seen so many customers standing in long lines, but you don’t have to with express checkout with the “Shop & Scan” feature makes shopping fast and easy. The IKEA app is also great, with free classes for students, home decorating consultations, and tons of tips to get inspired. IKEA really found a way to make shopping simple and enjoyable.

It was an experience for sure, different than any other shopping experience. They force you to view all items by following arrows on the ground totaling about 3/4 of a mile. It is an exhausting experience. If they had a wallpaper section that I completely missed it and at that point I was so exhausted that I didn't even want to ask and have to make that trek again.

Google
This one is so much nicer than Atlanta’s (where we’re from). The room designs are very thoughtful for the area and there’s more of them with lots of different styles for different tastes. Really fun to see how they use their own products in different ways. Plus It’s not as messy or disorganized. We’ve been twice in our month here, just for fun to walk around. Now- if only they’d offer gf cinnamon rolls!

Google
This store is amazing. There is something for everyone. The prices are phenomenal. The displays are beautiful. The restaurant food is really good and priced great. They even have a free daycare. Plan on spending 3 hours here. There is a free parking garage too. Update: 2025.. still amazing. The food is even better. They have some chocolate oat balls for dessert now and they're delicious! Spent 3 hours as per usual here.

Bought couch to be delivered in 7 to 14 days. No delivery, at home from 9am to 9 pm. Told the delivery would be in 2to 4 weeks. Canceled order was told a refund to credit card in one week. Did not happen. Got a email with a in store credit. Had to got to store to resolve issue. Will not shop IKEA again!

Always love Ikea! This was the first time I used their childcare center and my little one loved it!

I drove from Boulder to pick up an order of about 50 small items; essentials for starting fresh in a new apartment. Since I’d never been to this store (and my old one in Texas was totally different), I got super confused with click-and-collect. I showed up right before closing, and by the time I found the pickup area, the lobby was already shut. Two young guys changing trash bags walked me over to the returns desk, where two more incredibly kind employees made sure I still got my order, even at almost 9:30 PM. Fist bump for awesome customer service!

Yelp
We love IKEA! We made a visit into a day trip, and had an excellent time. Our first pleasant surprise was both low-cost (albeit only 6.4kW) EV charging and Veterans' parking spaces opposite the front door. We started with breakfast at the restaurant, which opens 30 minutes before the store. Affordable, tasty, and it included Swedish pancakes with lingenberry jam. (Yum!) From there, we followed the arrows through the store to examine all that was there for us. Prices and quality are generally very good. Passing through everything on both levels takes a couple of hours, but it's great fun to explore and make notes for future purchases. At the end, we stopped in their Swedish food shop to pick up items that are generally unavailable in our neck of the woods. We had a wonderful visit, and we will do so again with lists in hand.

Yelp
We will never go back to IKEA - ever! We haven't been to IKEA in 15 years. We now remember why. We went to the store in January, bought a couch, arranged for the delivery date, and for someone from Task Rabbit to come to our house to put it together. It seemed simple enough and we were reassured everything would be smooth as ice and twice as nice but then we paid and the absurdity began. IKEA continuously changed the delivery date after we taken off work multiple times to accommodate the delivery schedule and the Task Rabbit professional. We attempted to be as flexible as possible but IKEA made it as painful as one could make a delivery. IKEA customer service stated twice - after being on hold and the actual call for a total of 2-3 hours that they refund for Task Rabbit and the Delivery Fee would be applied back to the card used during the original purchase. This never happened. The delivery was scheduled for a Saturday and we made arrangements to stay home during the period it was set to be delivered. The information was incorrect but no one notified us. The logistics company blamed IKEA and IKEA blamed the logistics company. The logistics company stated that it was arranged for Sunday but the information online and with the IKEA customer service representative stated that the delivery was set for Saturday. The logistics company argued that they wouldn't bring it til Sunday so we rearranged our schedules again. The logistics company stated that they would be here within 30 minutes but showed up 3 hours later. After going through a ridiculously bureaucratic process that took a total of 5 hours of my time, I received a call from IKEA stating that I had to complete information via an email and then wait on another phone call from customer service to receive the refund for the delivery fee due to their repeated mistakes and the refund for Task Rabbit. I have no idea if this will actually be processed as I continue to get the run around and have IKEA waste my time.

Yelp
Headed to IKEA to peruse and get ideas for a room makeover- the trick to coming here is morning weekdays! If you can swing it, you will avoid crowds and not be so overwhelmed... We love looking at all the staged room and dreaming up our spaces!
google avatar

Sonja A.

Yelp
IKEA is a shopper's paradise, offering stylish and functional items at reasonable prices. However, timing is everything when visiting this store! The best time to shop is during the weekdays when the crowds are manageable, but I'd avoid it entirely during the holiday season--it can get overwhelming fast. The furniture and home goods are a great value, though assembling them is part of the experience. Most items only take a few hours to put together, and the end result is worth the effort. My recent visit had me purchasing a wish list item finally in stock (Ekedalen Bar Stools) and maybe a few extra items. Ok, mom and I did fill up a cart. Still my fave item is the Kallax. It holds my vinyl well and is visually pleasing. If you're looking for a fun shopping adventure and budget-friendly finds, IKEA delivers--just plan your visit wisely!

Yelp
Came for house items as they are moving to an apartment. Went straight to the marketplace as they picked up furniture ordered online. Grabbed a front door mat on the way to the bath area. Selections are good and prices are affordable. I like IKEA items because they look nice and are good quality. The people who work there are usually nice.

PackUpNGoNow L.

Yelp
IKEA IS NO LONGER A FUN PLACE FOR SHOPPING I haven't been to an IKEA store in recent years. Nothing beats having a Swedish meatball plate at IKEA but after our recent experience, we may not be returning soon. The Centennial IKEA has empty areas with little merchandise and no room sets. Some of the empty areas are cordoned off but most are open and part of the shopping path. The stark empty spaces reminded us that IKEA is essentially just a big warehouse. There was no salesperson to help us in the self-serve warehouse section. The store website showed that our items were in stock but it appeared that two pieces we wanted were sold out (many empty shelves in the warehouse area). We did find a console storage unit but it was only after we got home and started assembling it did we realize that it was not the right model. Apparently the box we pulled off the shelf was either stocked on the wrong shelf or mislabeled because our receipt showed we bought an item with the same meaningless IKEA name and price. We dropped by the food court on our way out. The area was not clean.
google avatar

Anson C.

Yelp
Every IKEA is always the best if they sell Blåhaj, but the prices were decent and the service was great, they were showing us directions. Just be safe when the lights turn off.(3008)

Cathrine F.

Yelp
they seem to have reduced the number of staff working here quite a bit. it's harder to find someone on the floor to help . In the restaurant, there was one person serving and one cooking, and I felt really bad for them because the line was really long.

Denver L.

Yelp
Low effort, human cattle corral. Many display items are the only example of the item and the item to actually purchase frequently is non-existent. This theme extends all the way through the corral to beyond the cash registers where you can buy fast food items. Try the yummy looking pretzel with cheese sauce pictured in the flat-screen self pay kiosk. Enjoy the dry pretzel after you pick it up at the counter only to be told they do not have cheese sauce. You'll be informed of this in a way that is so nonchalant an attitude, like, "you dummy, you really expected cheese ,sauce?" Giant portraits of Chairman Mao placed throughout the facility would fit in perfectly with the overall experience of Ikea.
google avatar

Margaret D.

Yelp
This store is filthy. It looks like they never vacuum the showrooms or the furniture. There is hair everywhere, in the sinks, on the furniture, countertops, inside drawers. The restaurant wasn't stocked, no forks, condiments, napkins, or side items. The staff was friendly enough but the lack of cleanliness made it really hard for me to want to shop.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
I buy things here when I really need to. So it gets 2 stars because occasionally it has something I need. I can only say so much but they don't seem to honor work contracts, they have zero clue about the ADA (I mean zero), hr is very disappointing. The employees seem like dicks due to terrible management.
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
IKEA is an experience! This is not a furniture store or a restaurant or interior design store...it's all of these rolled into one. You wander, find things you never knew you needed and can grab a bite right before you finish the last leg of your adventure. This is always a good choice if you're trying to decorate and fill your house without breaking the bank.

Hello K.

Yelp
Today was a terrible experience. We arrived around 245pm and the only positive was good options for parking. However that is where it ends. All the escalators were broken and the elevators said only take if you're going to returns so options are stairs or stairs and they're concrete and gross. So you hike up two flights of stairs that are very high and we immediately got hit in the face with stuffiness of no ac. I mean it was hot and muggy inside. Not really the best ambiance for shopping. We couldn't get out of there fast enough!! We had driven 1.5 hours to get here so we couldn't just turn and walk out now could we? They clearly have been working with a skeleton crew bc products were strewn about and it was just messy overall. Check out was a hot mess as always with huge families and a ton of kids and it's just chaos with no options to pay with cash. I was so flustered I forgot to put a small rug I bought in my cart because I just wanted out. Do better IKEA your customers don't want to walk in your giant messy warehouse in a sauna. Oh and you'd only get 1 star but a nice older gentleman in the plant department gave my daughter and I amazing info on how to take care of her new ficus. Kudos to you only sir!
google avatar

Caroline Y.

Yelp
Ikea has some useful items at a good price. My couch is Ikea and I love it (FRIHETEN sofa), and I have an IKEA HAUGSVÄR bed. However, I don't really like the Denver store. I find it very difficult to navigate. Display chairs, beds, and couches seem worn, and they are often out of a lot of products. The location is very far out for us that live north of Denver. It's not worth the drive here to shop. I recommend shopping online and picking up on the store or getting the items delivered to you.
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. Ordered a lot of furniture from IKEA Centennial for a new place, waited for delivery and then saw it was rescheduled without notice. Getting run around via customer service. Cannot confirm if it will ever show up.

Vitali Andrei S.

Yelp
Bought a mattress 5 years ago from Ikea. It has a sag on the right side. Ikea claims it is not a workmanship defect so it is not covered by their 10yr warranty. Just a heads up, warranty claims are subjective

Chris H.

Yelp
5/20/2025 around 2:45pm we went to IKEA to do a return. We were told by the customer service person that the returns system was down, not working. We had our receipt and we had paid cash but we were turned away. We absolutely do not understand how there is not a manual back up plan in place when something like this happens! We drove 45 miles, when we mentioned it to the supervisor she told us that was nothing because somebody drove all the way from Nebraska and they had to turn them away and ask them to come back another day. How is this acceptable??

Yelp
10/19/24: Renewing 1 star review. After the check out they had a survey stand where you could get prizes. The problem was that the survey only had a qr code. Not all phones have qr code readers even if they are smart phones. They had no back up html address that guest could use instead. This is a type of technology bias and horrible customer service. It is a basic marketing principle that when ever you have a qr code you also display the link. Older (3 years): Drove out of our way to try to eat breakfast here only to find they no longer served breakfast and they hadn't posted it on their website. The guy we asked said it was due to covid and yet they are still open for lunch and dinner. That doesn't make any sense. Your chances of catching covid are not higher in the morning vs later in the day. Then on they way out there are only certain ways you can go that forces people with disabilities to walk a long distance just to get out of the store. Not ADA friendly at all. When we spoke to the girl by the front to try and make a complaint she just kept flipping through a list and said she couldn't find the right person to call. There should be a main manager to handle customer issues where employees know who to reach out to. This employee also didn't know that they were no longer offering breakfast at this location. Their employees are in the dark about simple things and the greater for the store should always have this on hand instead of making the customer experience worse. Horrible customer service all around.
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
This is a great place to come to shop. Ikea has great ideas for small spaces. My favorite part of the store is the plant section. You can find some lovely plants, as well as pots to put them in. There is a nice restaurant where you can get Swedish meatballs or just a drink before you go to tackle the downstairs.
google avatar

Madi H.

Yelp
I always love a stroll around ikea, and i always take home more than i went in for. Including the veggie balls. This is my idea of a fun date
google avatar

Cindy R.

Yelp
Did not live up to the hype. This has got to be the worst ikea. I feel robbed. I saw YouTube videos of a whole buffet with expansive dessert sections but all they had for food was a small kiosk by the registers. I expected to see more displays. I couldn't really look at anything because other customers wanted to stand where I was standing. Everything was dirty. The white display down fill blankets had visible stains from being touched so much. Half the time I picked up a product I could feel residues on it. I guess there is no shelf life so an item can sit in the store and be picked up 100 times. If I ever go again, I'm wearing rubber gloves. Couldn't wash my hands fast enough.
google avatar

Renaye V.

Yelp
Usually IKEA is my go too for household goods, and lunch but right now they are doing an extensive remodel and it's hard to see what they have. I would recommend just shopping downstairs until the remodel is done. They also changed up their cafeteria desserts, we love the chocolate cake and almond torte but they didn't have those items this trip. They replaced them with strawberry vanilla cake. Make sure to get the Swedish meatball meal, only $5.99!
google avatar

Anders Christofer C.

Yelp
Ikea rocks. Especially when they bring the awesome Swedish foods to the US. Not everything is good but most of the things they have on the menu are decently priced and are very fresh. I also like the fact that you can go to their food store and bring home the favorites. However over the years quality has gone down. I think they are trying to save money!
google avatar

Monika B.

Yelp
Oh how I really do enjoy getting lost in ikea. I love the showrooms with all the varying ideas for their products. I love the products as well. I noticed their new line was focused on sustainability and that made me so happy to see! It takes us small folks and big corps working together to make a difference. I've never had a negative experience here to date.
google avatar

Miatsu K.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I went to IKEA to pick out and buy our first bed together. It was a mundane task with some romantic over tones so we really looked forward to this trip. IKEA didn't disappoint. This store is absolutely huge. I had no idea just how big this place was until I was inside. We loved the way IKEA sets up full rooms and gives us an idea of what it would like in our home. They even give square footage notices so you can compare it to rooms in your house. There is a monstrous selection of housewares, furniture and decor. So many that it can make it hard to decide. This is a great place for new couples and college students to buy furnishings. Plenty of choices. Reasonable price and friendly staff everywhere. The building is clean and extremely well maintained. Buy a strawberry yogurt cone at the end. Wow, is that some tasty stuff. My girlfriend and I will return several times as we identify more stuff we need. We were not the only same sex couple shopping and that was quite nice.
google avatar

Jey S.

Yelp
Ikea offers a seamless experience, starting with ample parking that adds to the convenience of the visit. The journey continues inside with not just furniture but surprisingly good food options. From the Swedish meatballs to the diverse menu, the culinary offerings complement the shopping experience. Good parking and good food make a trip to Ikea not just about furniture but an enjoyable outing overall.
google avatar

Jese S.

Yelp
I do love me some open stock IKEA glassware. They have some great, sturdy glassware and being open stock you break one.. no problem. Just go get another. I have also bought some really nice metal night tables for 10.00 each here. Don't even mention to me the Oatmeal/Chocolate cookies. I could and (actually have but we don't mention that often) eaten an entire box of these things on a cross country car trip. They are so crispy and good, it's difficult to stop and then suddenly.. the box is empty. Please make it a bit easier for those who don't want to walk around your entire store to shop there. I like to get in and get out. I don't constantly want to walk around and around so I can get a glass. Join the IKEA family and you will get a nice birthday surprise. I just got mine via email so I need to go do a little shopping. Maybe those birthday cookies!!!!
google avatar

Faith T.

Yelp
Do recommend coming just to hang out and spend time. Yes the store is big and you should wear comfortable shoes, but it's totally worth the experience. The prices are almost always worth it. I have never regretted getting furniture here. It's not that hard to build it. It's sturdier than most under priced other furniture, such as most free furniture you can get on the Internet The service is pretty great. I never had a problem with the employees and they're usually actually very helpful to me. 100% do recommend.

Alexander L.

Yelp
Wife and I purchased bookcases about 8 months ago. We are moving and the bookcases no longer work for us. So we figured we'd try our luck and see if we could return the items. Customer service said it was up to the individual location if they will take it back. The issue is specific locations do not have phone numbers for customers to call nor can customer service reach them. We'd either have to disassemble the product and show up randomly and hope they'd take it back or drive there, ask if it's ok, then go back home and return. One of the customer service members said that we could donate it back to ikea.... The billion dollar company. We just want an answer. If we couldn't return it, we'd donate it to someone or an organization that needs it.
google avatar

Gina T.

Yelp
I tried returning something and had the exact date and dollar amount even showed them my bank statement with all of the details, and somehow they couldn't find it in their system to give me a return. They gave me no other option and just sent me on my way with product that I can't use. Worst customer service ever.
google avatar

Casey D.

Yelp
So Huge!! I can't get over how enormous this place is! You will need a map and a canteen for realz! The furniture is bomb!! I got a beautiful black and white desk with a white leather chair to boot. Very easy to assemble, too! I'll be back!!
google avatar

Jeilin E.

Yelp
My experience today was amazing with the employees willing to check on an item alert I had just gotten an hour before going to IKEA. They went through the trouble to get the items that were just delivered and gave me good boxes to put my dishware in to carry out. I was apologized to for the wait and thanked for my patience. My cashier was also friendly and quick. Keep up the good work!
google avatar

Mia C.

Yelp
Taking away the already pathetic 5% off for being an IKEA family member makes it not worth it at all. They say they're lowering prices but in this corporate greed economy that's definitely not reflected in the price customers pay. Also this location almost never has staple items in stock.
google avatar

Ky S.

Yelp
Best place to get your walk on!! Or see what a 200 square foot apartment could look like with everything you might need!
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
A lot of parking options. We ate lunch in their cafeteria and it was actually pretty taste! We got the meatballs with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The meatballs were covered in a delicious gravy. We found the meatballs and gravy in their little food store. The cashier told us that for one bag of meatballs they use two pouches of gravy. Very helpful. Very crowded but what can you expect on a Saturday afternoon.
google avatar

Dave K.

Yelp
so, the kiosk told me that one part of my order was on the shelf, the other one was too big given to me after I paid at checkout. After I go through check out, the clerk is confused she's never heard of this before. she tells me to check the desk by the kiosk. The worker at that desk tells me the second half of all these items are sold out. By themselves, without the first half The representative at customer service says that somebody online must have ordered the parts while I was waiting in line. All eight of them apparently Why was someone event allowed to order online? Why I already had my cart? I wasted almost half an hour, bugging around heavy boxes that I couldn't even buy the full sets for

Catherine W.

Yelp
Restrooms appeared not to have been sanitized in some time. The layer of ground in dirt was clearly evident in the flooring, tiles, edging, counter tops, etc. It appears that dirty water is being used to mop the floor. IKEA could do much better in providing clean areas for the customers.

A.J. P.

Yelp
I always thought IKEA was a decent store up until now. We did a carry out for furniture and they told us it would be ready at 1159. Almost 30 mins later, they don't have it. Not to mention the workers were running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off
google avatar

Tracey B.

Yelp
Oh this place is addictive. It is almost like I have to avoid it or I spend too much lol. But I love the showroom and wandering around- could wander for hours! They just have the cutest stuff! Staff will assist you with getting your literal pallet of stuff to your car, they are very professional and friendly. I appreciate how spread out the store is, so you are not on top of others while strolling around, and there is of course the food court area to nourish yourself during the marathon day of being in this store!
google avatar

Crystal G.

Yelp
Staying at the town Place suites hotel which comes with a full kitchen. What do you know IKEA is in the same little neighborhood. The blue and yellow lights were calling me. Got to take advantage of this microwave and stove. Quick thinking Ikea has a full dinner on the way out. Even non-meat options so excited! Came home with mashed potatoes of course the famous Swedish meatballs and new to me plant-based meatballs ! Oh IKEA you came in so clutch!

India T.

Yelp
After placing an order well over $1000.00 for a closet sytem, scheduling and paying for home delivery, my order was rescheduled twice and was on a third required reschedule when I canceled the order and requested a full refund. 5he third party delivery company never recieved the order from Ikea wheelhouse. No one and the delivery company could give me a reason why this order was not fulfilled and I was told it was not their responsibility to find out why. Ikea 18888884332 could not give me a reason, no seemed to care frankly. I was just told they set it for reschedule of delivery for the same day. Never asked if that was doable for me , nor could guarantee delivery would actually occur. I could not locate a local number for the store to call only the 1888 number and we know how helpful and motivated they are to resolve issues. I later recieved a call for confirming the cancelation and arranging the refund. Not once was I asked what prompted me to cancel my order, nor if there was anything they could to make the situation better. Once again a culture of "we don't care". I asked to be transfered to a department within the store when I might get assistance with answers to my questions. I was transferred. Sales person who answered proceded to dress me down because she was not the right department, then hung up on me. I will not spend another dime at Ikea in-store or online.

Yelp
This is just going to be a review of the dining center at IKEA as I have never shopped for furniture here. All I can say is IKEA food is friggin amazing!!! So delicious, well balanced, and CHEAP! They do a great job of catering to vegans. I ordered a vegetable balls meal which consists of about 7 delicious vegetable balls with some kind of curry topping, steamed broccoli and green beans, and a generous helping of quinoa all for about $4! INSANE It's set up like a big cafeteria which I thought was pretty cool. There are so many sweet temptations as you go through the line so you may have to exercise some serious restraint. The workers are very quick which is great if you go there on a lunch break, like I do, yet they still seem to be very pleasant. I honestly can't think of one negative thing to say except maybe that there is only one vegan option, but it's a dang good one! I heart IKEA!!!
google avatar

Monika T.

Yelp
I am from Sweden, I bought my first piece 1980 from Ikea. I like the furnitures. Ikea in Denver was great when they first opened here. Now it's getting worse every year I go there. The restaurant used to be a highlight, now we avoid it. The staff seems to be so unhappy to work there, no crisp bread, no butter, they run out of a lot. Some staff really try to be helpful but it's so few of them. I am surprised so little food items are offered in the food shop. It used to be a lot more.
google avatar

Cecile H.

Yelp
This review is for their online order/delivery store. I wish I could give a zero star to their online store. I ordered 1 month ago. The items was supposed to arrive today between 9am-9pm. I waited all day. Nothing happened: no truck, no calls. At the end, I called them to see what was going on. They said that there was a backorder and they have no idea when it will be available. Really ? After sitting 1 month on my money... Nobody calling me to say that there was a backorder.
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
How can you not love shopping at IKEA? I get so many great ideas from the layouts and décor. Plus they have lots of kitchen items that aren't crazy expensive and last a long time. I have never bought anything from here that doesn't hold up. I have bought a book shelf, a bed frame and other items that are still in great condition from buying several years ago. The associates are sometimes hard to find, but they are always willing to help and are nice. There is a self checkout if you have less than 12 items, which I used recently and loved because I didn't have to stand in a long line. Depending on the time of day it does get crazy. I would recommend going early in the morning because it's not as crowded. I have never tried the deli or food that they have, but I have heard that it is good and rather healthy. Maybe next time! Overall, IKEA is definitely the place to go if you're looking for affordable options and quality products.

Yelp
As adults, you can never go wrong with a trip to IKEA. And if you can get through the trip without acting on your impulsive urges to buy something, you've got strong will power. The displays of rooms, furniture, wall design, and accessories will allow the decorator in us to go wild with our imaginations on what our homes could look like. Sometimes I wish I could swap my current interiors for their displays. Only to realize when I'm back home and it's just like the displays I've witnessed at the same location! I enjoyed this IKEA for the most part. And should I find myself living here, ill be looking here for additions to my new domicile!

Yelp
Lots of markings and hand sanitizer but honestly few people, is any, were following. I immediately regretted my decision but given that I was already an hour in just driving here, I buckled in for a bumpy ride. As you arrive they have 2 lines, one for entering and one exiting. No one was following. The escalator was PACKED, and it's the only way in. They have the stairs blocked. Once you got on, same. Don't even get me started on the check out line. People were literally bumping into me. I had to use my cart to keep my physical distance. Kids running & jumping on everything. Yeah, I don't think I'll be back for a while

Yelp
Yesterday, I needed some lightbulbs for IKEA lamps so went into the Denver-area store. About a third of the customers were NOT wearing masks, and the store employees were even busy helping a customer who wasn't wearing a mask. I don't know what the policy is, but everyone in that store (hundreds of customers) should be required to wear masks and this requirement should be enforced. COVID is no joke, but IKEA is probably afraid to enforce the policy for fear of losing customers. That qualifies in my book as reckless disregard. I am not going back to the store. This is not the first time I've seen IKEA show reckless disregard for customer safety (I once purchased a shelf unit that had no assembly or safety instructions, so I wasn't sure if it was safely put together; when I called IKEA for help, they said it was "modular" so had no instructions--so no safety guidelines, either). I am fed up with IKEA but was once a loyal customer. Money-hungry idiots!

Yelp
Regarding self check out stand employee Jeanine (sp?) I was checking out around noon-ish today after feeling very unwell. I'm diabetic and my blood sugar must have been through the roof as I was exhibiting symptoms. Jeanine was appropriately concerned for me - asking if I was okay, offering to hold my items so I could go to the restroom, inviting me to sit until I felt good enough to leave. I didn't realize my meter and insulin were at home. I eventually made it home and treated myself. This evening I returned to finish the shopping I had cut short. Jeanine was still at the checkout, and I thanked her from the bottom of my heart. As I left I shared with a supervisor the amazing concern of Jeanine, I began to tear up. These days it seems rare to cross paths with someone who shows such care for a stranger, and I am forever grateful I met Jeanine. I hope there is some type of employee recognition and celebration for employees like Jeanine who go above and beyond!
