It is an IKEA and there is nothing to say about this store that would change anyone mind or opinion on it. It’s assemble yourself furniture that is boxed and easily transportable. There is also a restaurant which appeared pretty busy in the morning. Store is exceptionally clean and organized.

Having bought a couple of roomfuls of furniture at this Ikea in the last couple of years, I happened to be done with shopping at Lowe’s a few minutes away, and facing a very cold drive home after dark. I was surprised when, among the usual dull fast food diners on Maps, Ikea was just as close—and I recalled the Swedish cafeteria there. My meatballs and cream of mushroom soup, complimented by a red berry drink, were just the ticket. The bright, cheerful design of the store was a tonic before a long drive home after dark. I love this Ikea and have been going for many years, but I felt drawn to write a review after my most recent visit. The store is clean, organized and endlessly fun and the restaurant is always a must visit. The reason for my 3 star review is that after visiting this location for over 10 years I was shocked when I want to check out, that there was absolutely no other option for checkout than to temporarily become an unpaid employee. Despite Ikea's prices all appearing to be 10-40% higher this year, they can no longer pay people to man the registers and instead seemed to use those same people to stand at the end of the checkout to stand and stare at you while you do their old job. As Ikea didn't prepare me with any training the checkout process took 4x longer, and was significantly more stressful than I have ever experienced. Fortunately as a young person I was able to manhandle my own furniture boxes, if you are older I would suggest simply not going. The checkout space is large enough for about 6 small items,the other 40 things in your cart will not fit and have nowhere to go, increasing your stress as the line grows behind you and your items are falling on the floor. The employees they can now only pay to stand around and watch you will periodically come over and "spot check" your cart for unscanned items. It seems like the easiest way for items to be scanned would be for an employee to simply do it the old fashioned way themselves, but for some "reason" (money) that isn't an option. After taking no less than 15 minutes to slowly and painfully checkout, with 5 employees staring me down the entire time twiddling their thumbs, I think I will be pausing future Ikea trips until I no longer have to moonlight as the underpaid cashiers Ikea can no longer afford.

Great place to Furnish any space im the house. Came across some great sales during the visit and was able to furnish the kids room. Highly recommended!

I haven’t been to IKEA in years. Decided to take myself on a solo outing and it was a great experience. Plenty of parking, and There’s even chargers in the parking garage. Their showroom is huge and had beautiful pieces for each part of your home. Tried the meatballs for the first time and they were delicious. They ran out of Mac and cheese which sucked, and the line was crazy long for some reason in the cafeteria to get the food but otherwise I highly recommend this location, whether for shopping needs or just to kill time and aimlessly wander

A great stop for affordable furniture and home goods, but what stands out to me is the restaurant! The Swedish meatballs are always tasty. The store is well-organized, and the staff is usually helpful.

It was a fun experience! Exactly what you would expect from an IKEA. The parking lot was convenient and lots of places were available near the entrance. For the food, the meatballs were fantastic, but the shrimp salad sandwich had a different flavor to it that was not very enjoyable.

I recently went to buy a closet, and I must say, two gentlemen there were incredibly helpful. I want to take a moment to thank them here for their assistance. I believe I made an excellent choice in terms of both quality and price. Compared to custom closets, this option was far better in every way. I feel confident that this decision will pay off in the long run. Sometimes, finding the right balance between quality and cost can be challenging, but this experience proved that it’s possible. Always 10/10. Always a fun stop! IKEA has stylish, budget-friendly furniture and clever storage solutions. We did our play room upgrade using the Kallax storage system, it's one of the best things. We also love touring the showroom, it gives me so many ideas for house projects.

I like the store and most of the products (Though shame on you IKEA for removing the Ektorp line from North America and replacing it with the inferior Uppland line, yet continue carrying it overseas.) however their delivery vendors need better vetting. I have had extremely bad experiences twice - once in 2016 and now in December 2025. In 2016, I was given a delivery window and they did not show. I allowed a two hour grace period because I lived in Fredericksburg and IYKYK. But at hour four, I started looking for ways to contact the vendor. Back then, you could call customer service and get them to call the vendor and have them call you. The vendor called and said delivery was attempted but they could not locate the residence and I did not answer when they called. Not true. If you ever have waited for something like a scheduled delivery or service call, YOU SIT BY YOUR PHONE, RIGHT??? No missed calls. I asked to speak to the driver who then said they would have left it out front, but it did not look like a good area. In front of what? If the could not find it, how would they know what the area looked like. I sent photos of my street to show the management my side of the argument- they should have been able to locate it. Especially since I described the location in detail in delivery instructions along with my phone number if they had questions. My delivery fee was not returned and I declined redelivery. I went to IKEA in three trips and 50 year old, 5ft , girly me with no coordination and even less upper body strength dragged in two dressers, a cabinet, two bookcases, and a desk. Fast forward (or not) to today. My delivery window was 8-12. At 1:30 I tracked the delivery through the app, but all it gave me was the time window. It did give me the option to text the driver. I chose the custom text option (you can choose to have the driver call you or send them a custom text) and texted them to please let me know when they'd be arriving. At 1:45, chose the call me option. At 2:00, I texted, "CONTACT ME BY 2:15 TO TELL ME WHEN YOU WILL BE HERE OR THE TIP THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN CUT IN HALF WILL BE ZERO!" At 2:30, I get a text saying, "Sorry for the delay. On my way." I asked "When?" Thirty minutes later he texts back between 4-5 - when I can't be home. So he will have to leave it outside the garage and I'll get to drag it in then unbox and move pieces in bit by bit. I understand that things run behind (thus the two hour buffer). But if you can't deliver until 4 or 5pm (It's the DC Metro area...Vaya con Dios) then DON'T SAY BETWEEN 8am-12pm. If you can, order online and go pick it up at the order pick up queue. Much less of a headache.

First of all, the store is more confusing than the Pentagon to navigate but I found a store clerk who took the time to walk me directly where I needed to go. Then another one in the section greeted me immediately and asked to help and walked me through designing a closet organizer I needed on the computer. I ordered and somehow found me way out of the maze. The cost was very reasonable and I feel like so far it was a good really first experience buying anything from there.

Swedish meatballs and cinnamon rolls, what more do you need??? This location was definitely busy even for a Saturday and the line for the cafe was LONG. Worth it obv, but still. After fueling up on meatballs and lingonberry goodness, my friends and I spent like 4 hours in the showroom which is crazy. Like we were there so long, I HAD to get a cinnamon roll at the end to refuel!

Came by Ikea to check out their selections of kitchenware and household items. I walked through the showroom after many years of not paying attention to their selections. Boy was I shocked by the price increases. The quality and styles of the items are reminiscent of what i bought 15 plus years ago but the prices have drastically increased. I don't think the prices reflect the quality. Unfortunately I'll stick to the household items and kitchenware here only. I highly recommend getting the ice cream...so creamy and delish!

Pretty good furniture! I have some pieces like desks and nightstands that have lasted me 15+ years with daily use, but other things like sofas feel cheap and poorly made. The show rooms are cute, but the best thing here is their frozen yogurt! It's sooooo good. It's sweet, ultra-creamy, and rich. It tastes better than traditional vanilla soft serve. I would eat some everyday if I could! Can't wait to come back and try their other food court items.

Came to this IKEA rather than the College Park one because we were shopping nearby and it seemed more convenient. Will not try again. Our trip started with a coffee fill at the exit cafe, where we picked up some soft serve ice cream (it was hot okay), a cinnamon roll, and a coffee. I should've known something was amiss when most of the fridges were turned off, the shelves completely empty, and the ready-to-eat food looked sad and lonely (unappetizing). But hey, it's just coffee right? Hahaha no. The service was fine. But the coffee was just slightly yellow water. It looks like when the intern makes a pot of coffee and forgets to change the filter and add new grounds. It tastes like bean water (note: not coffee). So given that the point of buying coffee is to drink coffee, I took the cup and showed the girl who works there, who flagged another girl, and she informed me that it looks fine. That's how coffee looks. Uhh... So I figured maybe she doesn't drink coffee or maybe she has a preference for weak coffee so I pointed out that this is not what coffee is like at other Ikeas. She informed me that they are all making it wrong! They put too much ground coffee in the filter and that's why it's a darker color! ...wow. So I did the sensible thing and let this person also named Jessica be and went upstairs and tested the coffee in the cafeteria which was real coffee. Thanks Jessica for trying to gaslight me on what coffee is and isn't. The store itself was missing a lot of things (not available for pickup despite being in their showroom). The marketplace simply didn't have half the things we had expected to be able to pickup based on the showroom selection (will buy online instead, I guess). The warehouse had put things that are the same product, but different color, in different rows and bins. So if you saw a white piece of furniture that you want and you go to the warehouse expecting to see a selection of colors so you can pick up a different one--you're out of luck! They only have white. Then you have to go to the computer to see where they store the other colors and they're all just scattered in different places so you've gotta zigzag around to find what you want. Great. And for the record this is not how all Ikeas are set up. Been going to ikea since I was a kid in various countries and this was by far one of the worst locations. The Norfolk one is better if you're close to that one.

SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! We had trouble at the checkout, and the staff member who helped us was very patient with us to solve the problem. SELECTION I had already come to IKEA with the furniture I wanted in mind using their design feature online. Seeing the furniture in person was really helpful in narrowing down what I wanted, and the compactness of the items when purchasing was incredible. We were able to drive back home with around 5-6 large pieces in our SUV easily (i.e. bed frames, desks). FOOD We ordered a vanilla frozen yogurt to go, and it had a slight tang, was sweet and creamy, and great bang for your buck. Definitely recommend it as a sweet treat before leaving!

This is my first time in this IKEA. It has a huge parking garage (free) which is great if it's snowing or raining. It happened to be doing both on my visit! The entry is unclear and not simple like the IKEA in New Haven, CT. So I found my way through the bottom section first, and clearly walking against foot traffic! I was bummed that their selections weren't super appealing to me. Perhaps my tastes have changed? The value for what you get is always spot on, I used to love walking thru IKEA when I lived in CT, loved the variety and simplicity of everything! This was not as friendly in my opinion. I did get a few small items which is great since I am traveling and don't want to overload the car just yet!

I usually come to IKEA for their Swedish meatballs, but this time I decided to try their Stockholm Salad with Salmon. It was surprisingly light and tasty. It comes with salmon, salad, and mashed potatoes as well as a yummy sauce.

6/6/24 JUST WHEN I THOUGHT, I had the lay of the land here, IKEA decided to do a little remodeling. If you have teenagers and want to torture them a bit, tell them you're taking them to an "ESCAPE ROOM", create list of items each person has to search for whilst you stand at the checkout with your stopwatch. That should kill a few hours if you got a bunch to entertain. Don't get me wrong, I love IKEA. True to fashion, I had collected a variety of " things" I didn't know I needed. I was about an hour in before I found what I came for! Next time I'll bring the hubster....surely his military mapping skills could get me out of this jungle!

Plenty of parking and staff available throughout to assist. Everything was pretty organized and enough selection of items. Price of items are always worth the trip. Also so glad they have a separate lactation and baby changing room!

IKEA is such a great store to walk through. The displays they have offer great ways to get inspired on how to organize your living space, and also offer so many small appliances to pickup that you didn't know you needed. When you're finished with your stroll through the showroom, you're greeted with the classic cafeteria. The meatballs are my favorite

I've have ikea furniture at some point or another during my adult life. From my modern bedroom set in high-school that I took with me to my first apartment that lasted for well over a decade. I've had various Ikea items sprinkled throughout my living spaces and they have all held up very, very well like bookcases, side tables, and lamps. Most recently, I've purchased kitchen items like dish towels, dishes, cutting boards, and other storage containers. What I like most about Ikea is affordability. All price points are covered from budget friendly to more high end. I also like the modern look to everything. Everything is very practical and has a purpose. I guess that's the Scandinavian philosophy behind everything ikea. Whether you want to redesign your entire kitchen or just want to spruce up your space with a few candles, plants and blanket throws, ikea has you covered! The only hang-up, if your purchase furniture, it comes in a box meaning you have to follow the instructions and assemble it yourself. Or, you can have it delivered and hire someone to put it together for you. Some things are very, very simple to assemble. Other items are a bit more involved and you may need to watch a few YouTube videos before you begin. I wish they had classes like how to use a drill for beginners!!

Came here on a road trip to eat. Easy parking and good signage in the store. Veggie meatballs were delicious with a flavorful sauce on top. Fries were hot and fresh. Walked the store and it was organized. Good prices throughout.

Okay some items are alright. This living room light is a winner. Plenty of illumination and good price. Yet their wine rack while functional, putting that together, was a nightmare that no one could expect. My main issue with IKEA is their assembly instructions aren't easy. Is this some Swedish joke, that I've not been read in yet. Words would help this greatly, instead of diagrams from engineering school. Their dresser has lasted years, and I am happy with it. Going here is to me a real chore. Am not going to win any people friendly awards, but this store is always loaded with crowds. It is a neat place, but I don't get the "must visit" vibe others do. The employees are very friendly, and over the years great service. Getting in and out of the parking garage is an adventure. I like IKEA and this location, but am not overly happy going here.

Bland showrooms, need to switch it up, plus they need to bring back the moose plush line as well as the elephants.

Everyone loves Ikea! My friends and I decided to close out our 2023 with a fun day trip to Ikea. We had been getting endless ads on the djungelskogs and had to see them in person. Thankfully we didn't hit too much traffic on the way up. There is a huge free parking lot attached to this ikea and it seems to be really close to a mall. Upon entry, we were happy to find the bathrooms immediately. We arrived around lunch time, so head straight upstairs to the cafeteria. Ikea has a family loyalty program. It's free to join and gets you discounts on everything from furniture to cafe food. I highly recommend joining or going with a friend that is a part of the program. We got the classic meatballs of course (I'm not a meatball girl, but like the ones here) and some other goodies. You'll want to be well fed before your Ikea adventure because it could last a while. You are able to skip the showroom and go straight to the shopping section, but the showroom is half the fun. We enjoyed exploring every room and playing make belief in several different rooms. Since it was after Christmas they had some great sales too. Ikea can be a really inspiring place. It can get the creative juices flowing and make you excited about interior design. It's also a fantastic spot for starter furniture. It's affordable and thankfully their instructions on how to build things are pretty easy. This is our go-to Ikea. If you don't feel like venturing inside, you can do pick-up from your car. I had a blast at Ikea with my friends and find this location to be wonderful (a bit endless, but they're all like that haha).

The product is good but the service is AWFUL. I placed an order, which they would not let me edit, so I had to cancel the order and reorder it. IKEA contracts out their installation. When I cancelled the order, they never notified the installer. I was contacted by the installer who is threatening to charge me for not cancelling installation in time. I have no way of contacting the installer (goes to a 404 error when I click on the links provided in their email). So I went to IKEA. Their chatbot failed to allow me to proceed and I am now on a 10-minute hold!! You should be able to purchase things without this hassle!!!

IKEA rocks!! I am still using a desk I got from IKEA after college, still enjoying the monitor step and key board tray. On our recent visit i purchased a couple of kitchen items including a non-stick skillet that I have been loving. I had not been a non-stick fan but decided to try this deeper non-stick pan that I now love. This pan has me enjoying eggs with an easy flip & an easy clean-up. We plan to add a wall of bookshelves to a room and expect we will turn to IKEA to bring order to our books.

4/2/23 When we go to IKEA, there is a great chance the place will be busy. Nevertheless, before we did our primary mission, our secondary mission kicked in first. Yes, I am talked about food glorious food. To paraphrase Billie Ellish, when you are hungry, the food whore can make one do a lot of things...even things we might regret. Swedish Meatballs which came with mashed potatoes and green peas. I added garlic bread and a side of mac and cheese to the dish to round off everything. Unfortunately they did not have any cornbread when we were there. Otherwise I would have eaten some unlike Martin Lawrence's character in the movie LIFE. Unfortunately, there were consequences and repercussions. The last time my wife and I were here, the soda drink options were few. This time; however, there were no soda machine drinks except water. I have wanted to try their peach fizzy drink, but alas, to no avail. We ended up getting several IZZIE Apple drinks for a $1.29. An employee informed us the place is going through a restoration. We'll I think it is going through one hell of a restoration, because I belive this what I was told the last time we were here. Aside from this, the food is delicious and I ended up buying the last two soft batch chocolate chip cookies. I am not into sugar cookies. If there had been Soft Batch Oatmeal Raisin Cookies... Whoa mama. After the meal, my wife and I saw many options on fixing up our house. However, we needed to find something for my wife's shoe collection and guests. We finally found something note worthy. We were able to aquire it in a blackish brown. Something IKEA seems to love in color options. I would rather it just be black. I like to see the options of choice each time we go to IKEA. One could spend hours here. Something not every young kid enjoys. This is where the grown ups my might say "put a leash on your kid." Well someone patented this request and many parents are doing just that. Now the dog and cat have something to smile about. We got home and I brought in the shoe stand. Since my wife hates vacuuming and folding clothes, I did this and she put the shoe stand together. Things we do for love. Another great time at IKEA. Oh, we might have to try the food on the first level near the checkout lanes. They have upgraded the area with new choice items. They were also selling a lot of chocolate for Easter Sunday. What will they have next time we are here?

Been trying for over a month to contact someone to resolve a warranty claim. I have been calling the store customer resolution department for a week left several messages and no one ever replies. Worst customer service ever

This was a very quick stop to IKEA for a couple laundry drying racks to replace the same ones I've had for 15 + years. I did get a helper to direct me to the "organization" department to make my selection (where the racks were displayed) and another helper showed me to the proper bin once I knew what I wanted. Everyone is eager to assist .... Actually I'm embarrassed I forgot my way around IKEA; when my children were little we practically lived at IKEA thanks to the impressive child play area and dining that made shopping there such an obvious choice. It was good to be back revisiting our old stomping grounds. YES vegan friendly YES kid friendly

This is my go-to Ikea since its the closest one for me in Northern Virginia. Just as you expect, it is always a fun experience browsing around, going through the maze of a showroom. Furnitures are either reasonably or cheaply priced! However, stocking has usually been low on the more affordable furniture items. I read that there is a shortage of supplies, but the stocking numbers are not reliable. Things that are very popular are a 50/50 if it is not fully stocked. There were a few times where the website said it had something I wanted, but it was out of stock. Besides that, everything else is fine.

The customer service has declined as well as the efficiency. You have to wait over an hour if you are not able to get the item yourself. Customer service stands around and does not assist anyone. The entire point of IKEA is to be self sufficient and unless they have staff who care, just order items from another store.

Poor service & misleading sale items. Items marked down in Red throughout the store, but they ring up as full price at checkout. Checkout clerk then does not believe you and makes you take a picture of the sale items! Then upon returning to checkout, you're at the back of the line. Clerk then calls in the price check and now you have to wait for someone to validate your price check...., it taken 15 minutes and it's a slow Wednesday. This is ridiculous. IKEA fix this process.

Woodbridge IKEA, please change your shipping partner, NAL Group/CRST Logistics. This is a terrible company that cannot support the amount of business you gave them. Their contract/agreement should be terminated. Their systems are outdated, their CSRs are overworked, and they have no intention of lifting a finger to ensure their deliveries make it to their customers on time. Dealing with them has been a terrible headache and not only is my delivery arriving a week late, but I also have no confirmation if I will even get my delivery on that late date. Again, they cannot handle the amount of packages they have to deliver. Lose them.

One of my favorite places to go to is Ikea, to browse, shop and eat. It is pretty organized, the food in the cafe and affordable and delicious. They have a wide selection of furniture and even full kitchens. I have a few ikea items, on your birthday you get a $10 coupon that I use faithfully.

I've visited IKEA many, many times. It was a first to this location. From what I tell, many of them are basically carbon copies of each other. Very well organized. Very clean. And most is in stock. All have everything to decorate your living situation. You name it. It's probably here somewhere. They think of all you will need, and lots of what you think do. Very kool, contemporary, and as different as you could possibly think. There's very stylish rooms, kitchen, dining, sleeping, bath and even closets. Makes one want buy this and that. It's a different kind of furniture. Some love it - some do not. Quality is good, though it does depend on what you're planning to decorate. Storage, kitchen, plants, towels of all kinds are great here. Love the color choices. In the past, I've furnished an office, den, and playroom. I do have lots of the kitchens this and that. They have some really cool stuff. I went for a few specific items this trip. I believe I found the pieces that will work well. Since they are still in boxes... I will take pictures and post as soon as we get it all together. It's definitely a good place to start, if for nothing else but ideas. Though I'm willing to bet - you will not leave without a purchase of some sort. I learned this last time they have a rewards card. I suggest you check- it- out- if I had known, I would have saved $70.00....in today's world with all that's going on - would have been nice in my pocket.

I've been dying to go to Ikea, and this weekend, I finally got my chance. I'm renovating and redecorating, so I thought this would be a good place to start. I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to it, then wait another hour for it to open.. and when it did, I jumped right in with my cart and started my stroll through every area... hoping to find some specific items. I did not find them, but... I discovered some other options and bought a chair, and four throw pillows with pillow covers. The one thing I wish were better is for more of the furniture to have models on the floor put together. As it is now, you pull it up on a screen to find the name, then walk through warehouse aisles to find it and throw it in your cart. You can't tell much looking at the box. The chair I bought was actually set up, so it really allowed me to see what I was getting and invision it in my house. I will wait and go back about a month from now to see what new options have shown up.

Yesterday I went to IKEA and they are in full renovation. Now they have no more cashiers. Just self checkout where you have 1 employees for 6 machines and that employee kind Check whet you bought. This is ridiculous . Why do I have to work for me buying their products. You know what IKEA - you lost a client for LIFE. If you are so capitalist that you don't want to pay people to be cashier. You lost my business forever. Bye IKEA

Review is for food only! Look at how much smoked salmon they put in the salad! I was pretty satisfied with each of the items that bring you back to good memories. The meatballs are always a crowd pleaser but I was pleasantly surprised by the smoked fish/veggie option and was a great start to a productive shopping trip.

IKEA is truly a magical place! I think the St. Louis IKEA is one of the bigger IKEA's I have been to which is saying a lot because the department store is huge already. I forgot how much different things IKEA sells and at such cheap prices too, which does mean that quality occasionally goes down. Would recommend, if you're going dorm shopping, to not go during back-to-school time because a lot of the selection will be gone. Currently IKEA does have its restaurant side open although maybe at half capacity. I haven't been here in forever so was excited to try their food again. - Swedish Meatballs (the thing that IKEA is arguably most known for) - The gravy and the mashed potatoes were actually pretty good. For the meatballs, I think they were better tasting in my memory as it just had a lot of meaty texture to it and not a ton of flavor. Will warn you that the broccoli is just boiled. - Chocolate Cake - Kind of reminds me of Portillo's (the chain restaurant in the Illinois area). Very chocolate-y. - Berry Cheesecake - I actually like this cake very much and like how much fresh berries there were on the cake which I was not expecting. Overall, I spent too much time in IKEA which means that the department store is doing their job correctly. The amount of cheap things in here are a little mind-blowing (this very well-built umbrella was only $5). Definitely recommend going just for fun but beware of buying too much stuff. Quality isn't super great because of the price but definitely a cool experience and activity when in the St. Louis area.

My favorite place in the world! What does IKEA not have? So many things to get for your home here and a ton of awesome kid things. Not to mention how delicious the meatballs and other food choices are! We always make it a trip to come here (because hello, Woodbridge traffic). I'd recommend going right when they open because it can get crazy later on in the day. Workers where are always professional and helpful and we've never had a bad experience. Obviously will be coming back!

What's not to like about IKEA? The food, nope, it's really good for a furniture store. Good, authentic Swedish food. And, vegan or vegetarian, IKEA has you covered too. Next time you're in the neighborhood, stop by, shop and eat. Plenty of seating and parking. Oh, and great prices on the food too.

This IKEA is very pretty inside and organized, but it is so hard finding your way around this place and there's not many floor signs to help. Nor are there many employees around to ask for help, it's like a maze lol it took me so long to find my way to the storage shelves. If you have time to spare that's great but if you're running in and out ..that kind of becomes a bit frustrating The food from the cafeteria was great & oh so reasonably priced. I got all this for under $20. Yum, can't wait to go back just for the food.

My son and I went furniture shopping for his new apartment, and I don't know who had more fun. We found some really cool, inexpensive dining room and living room furniture, as well as some storage accessories. It was a nice way to spend our Sunday afternoon, and my son found what he needed. Not too crowded, and the customer service was friendly too. My only complaint was that there were a lot of items we liked that were out of stock, but shortages seem to be everywhere right now.

There's plenty furniture to pick from at reasonable prices. However, the real show stopper is the food. The food is priced so low, nothing can compete. A veggie dog topped off with fried onions is only $0.90. That's right, less than a dollar. You read that right! nothing else out there! All of this was less than $6. The pretzel was a perfect size, temperature, consistency, and flavor paired with that sweet Swedish mustard. The "sundae" was even more flavorful and warms your belly. The workers too, despite being hit with wave after wave of people, worked efficiently and were friendly to boot. Highly recommend and would definitively eat here again

I always hear wonderful things about IKEA, so I dived and drove here to check it out. I can see the hype now, primarily because of the cafe. So IKEA is a bit weird when it comes to its location. It's located in the Potomac mills mall area. It's a hassle to enter and exit the parking garage. Once we entered and arrived at the store. There are many elevators, stairs, and an escalator to the store. It looks cleaned and clustered when shopping in this store--too many people are looking for furniture. Overall I will not return during the week, I highly suggest coming here on a weekday

Honestly, I love coming here for the visuals!!! Every time I come whether it is actually for something or to just look around, I always end up spending more time in here than I had planned. I have yet to walk in here and walk out empty handed. The displays are always differs t and I find myself walking through each one to see what parts I like the eat. I always find something I didn't know I needed it can justify the purchase in my head lol. The store is perfectly set up to where even though there's a ton of people strolling around, you never feel like you are right on top of each other. That's my kind of shopping experience. I've never ate at the cafeteria upstairs but it's always packed so the food must be good. I am a huge advocate for their cinnamon rolls though, those things are delicious. The checkout lines are always long but always move pretty fast so you don't mind a little bit of a weight. Lastly, if you plan on getting any furniture please get the dolly like cart and not the actual shopping cart. It makes a big difference.

Like a lot of people in the area, I've been here dozens of times to grab furniture or even grab dinner. Sure it can be hard to find help depending on the time/day but there is always usually someone in the warehouse looking to help out. The store layout it self is super nice so we can't help but check out every item on he way to the end. Prices are great for both furniture and food if you were looking to save money so this place can take care of a lot of needs at once.

Overall, the company has come a long way in product development and quality customer service. This particular location has transformed from a below-standard big-box store pushing flat box products and into a retailer that puts customers first. We hadn't been to the store in quite a while. In fact, my wife band me from going there out of fear that slow grazing "shoppers" would cause my PTS to flair up. (Apparently "tapping" shopper's ankles with a shopping cart when they cut you off is frowned upon!) Anyway, this latest experience was terrific...probably because IKEA currently has a crowd limit in place because of COVID. Customer Service professionals were so helpful and the desk we bought is perfect for the price we paid.

Scrumptious Swedish Meatballs! OMG this is some of the cheapest food that you'll find especially in a furniture store. Love the concept and the recognizable dark blue and yellow building you can spot a couple of miles away. The concept of ikea is interesting because they have a walkthrough design of different showcases and example rooms which can be quite dangerous because you can go in for one thing and walk out with 5 additional "necessities." Also didn't know they did this, but they do bulk ordering of materials. My friends are remodeling their kitchen and basically bought all their cabinets, drawers, and doors from here. Before you start your shopping adventure, you should definitely stop by the food section and order a plate of food. The child size ($2.99) comes with about 4 meatballs, greens, lingonberry sauce, and mash potatoes with a delicious gravy on top. The adult size comes with almost double the protein for ~$1 more. Dangerously I could eat this everyday! Definitely a good place to stop and shop. Also there is a section of the store where kids can go and play while you do your shopping (best idea ever).

I feel like the drive to any IKEA is mad traffic. I used to make trips to the IKEA in College Park to get affordable furniture for my first college apartment. Since then, I've ventured away from IKEA to more expensive brands. I've come back to IKEA now that we have a family! This place is super family friendly. It's also a playground for our toddler. She likes to move from "room" to "room" exploring the beds, sofas, cabinets, and whatever she can get her hands on! The kids section is impressive with their quality toys, arts & crafts, kids eating utensils, and affordable bath and bedroom items. There's little nooks for the kids to play and explore. Our little one has not been to their play area. She enjoys exploring the bigger spaces. And to top off all that exploring, their restaurant is full of deliciousness! They have something for the whole family. The kids meal is less than $3 and it comes with a protein, carb and vegetable. I like this better than the happy meal. My toddler is in love with the Swedish meatballs. She was all smiles. I like their shrimp sandwich and marinated salmon with dill and lemon. I love how we can purchase their Swedish meatballs, along with many grocery and snack items. And don't forget the cinnamon buns and soft serve for $1. Most of the furniture here is as basic as it gets. Assemble yourself. The instructions are easy to follow. The family restrooms are descent. The place is wild and in need of tidying. But I think it's perfect for kids and families.

+4 stars for selling a motorized standing desk , starting at $399. +$1 ice cream cones +Fast, efficient customer service lines. +Did I mention IKEA sells a electronically motorized sit/stand desk? It also comes with a 10-year warranty! -Most of the products don't last that long and break easily.

Stock has been a bit better. I checked online prior to going and was able to find most of the things that website said were in stock. Staff helpful. Some postcard pictures were out of stock and worker was able to sell us the store display - didn't even know that was an option. Found a branch of our family's favorite restaurant a few minutes away. Very crowded inside but checkout was surprisingly quick.

This location is so quaint and peaceful. Feels almost dream-like compared to the chaos in New York. Monday afternoon on a rainy day sure helped with less crowds. Easy to find things and there was actually plenty of stuff in stock. Quick and easy self-check out. Very comfortable shopping experience.
