I always come to IKEA in Stoughton because of the meatballs, of course. I have been coming here for years because it always brings back memories from my childhood in Europe. Last week when I visited, I was quite appalled of the circumstances and the quality of the food I was served and what IKEA has become on the food-front. The first picture was taken in February, the second was a week ago. As you can see: No more regular plates just paper, no silverware just plastic, no glasses just plastic cups. The serving and the taste of the meatballs were just not the same. Very soggy fries, not crispy at all. They didn’t even have salt and pepper to make it a little better… The pear soda was so sugary that I couldn’t drink it (just look at how dense it is compared to the one from February). If you come to IKEA, don’t come for the food. I am really hoping that this quality will improve soon for the higher price asked for these items. Only come for the household items they sell.

Google
Great place to shop around I love the upstairs with individual rooms full of inspiration. The food court is also great and always has some good food for a cheap price. Can't go without a plate of meatballs!

I was looking for an economical product for my under the deck project. Ikea had great prodigies flooring of spaces like this. I couldn’t find this product anywhere else in the market.

IKEA is setup so well and it’s what we needed shopping for our first apartment. As the wedding gets closer we are in a hustle for stuff and IKEA had us covered. We were there for 3 hours and really stocked up on things we needed. Cafeteria is awesome too. I love this place!

Google
Great experience of shopping. The cafeteria with good selection. Showroom is a highlight and very detailed and huge area to cover. Staff were nice and offered to help.

❤️💯Don't come here often however it never disappoint, come and review ideas for you next project or buy a gift for those dear to you

Google
Big place, a bit disorienting. Delightful fairly priced cafeteria featuring food that can be purchased to cook at home. It's located kinda in the boonies however. So, as a pilgrimage for inexpensive furniture and home furnishings it can be a fun adventure. Be sure to have a car with space for purchases. Be patient and ask for directions inside. Staff are very helpful.

Google
I love their products but the customer service for returns is ALWAYS a hassle. There is always a long line and only one or two people working the returns. It’s not an easy job I’m sure but they also are not the friendliest.

Yelp
Sad to downgrade IKEA as I've enjoyed going here since they opened the store way back in the day. One of the highlights of every visit has always been the soft serve ice cream, but I was exceedingly disappointed to find that they had closed the ice cream station when we visited this Saturday! When we inquired, we were told it was due to staffing problems- they had the ice cream, just no one to serve it! The self checkout is very awkwardly set up with no place to rest your shopping bag and also bag items into reusable bags. Additionally, when we had an issue with the self checkout the attendant was surly and seemed annoyed at us for making her do her job. We were annoyed at having to check ourselves out because the lines for cashiers were so long. Also, the lamps we wanted were out of stock. Recommend going late in the evenings on weekdays as it's often a lot less crowded.

Yelp
This Ikea is way better than the other closest one in New Haven which has really seen a decline... the restaurant there is especially dreadful. However, this one in Stoughton is not as great as it used to be either, and I hope the company can refresh some things. The product line overall is in need of a overhaul.. the furniture and mattresses have never been that comfortable or good quality. Also, Not a fan of the ground floor cafe set up where you have to kiosk app your order .. hate touching those screens that fifty thousand others have smeared with their filthy hands.

Yelp
I placed an almost $1000 furniture order and paid $59 for rush shipping for the items to get to my new (completely unfurnished) apartment on 6/2. They partner with Rxo, an in-home delivery company, to ship, and both Rxo and Ikea's communication about this order have been ridiculously unprofessional and poor on so many levels. Up until the morning of the shipment, the delivery tracker stated that I would be receiving the package between 10AM and 2PM, but it suddenly said to call customer service. After an hour on the line with both Rxo and Ikea customer service, I was issued a refund for the rush shipping, but the delivery got pushed back to the end of the week, 6/6. Rxo seemed to think that Ikea never set out the package at their warehouse for pickup, and Ikea claims that the package has been ready for pickup since 5/31. I don't know who is correct, but either way, they need to communicate with each other and deliver the package in a timely manner. By the time 6/6 rolled around, the delivery tracker once again said that the package would arrive between 10AM and 2PM, but when I refreshed it once again, it had me call customer service again. At this point, I have been put on hold for an hour and just heard back from the representative that my order was never even ROUTED in the first place despite supposedly being slated to get here FOUR days ago. I am now having to cancel my order because they claim that they are going to reschedule it to 6/10, but I have zero faith in their ability to communicate with me properly without having to reschedule it a third time, so I am going to have to find a way to go to the store that is forty minutes away to get this furniture for my unfurnished apartment.

Yelp
I absolutely love IKEA! I could easily spend hours exploring their display rooms, which offer endless inspiration for my own home decor. The variety of items is impressive, and their prices are reasonable. However, it's important to remember that the quality isn't always top-notch, you get what you pay for. If you're temporarily in Boston, this is the furniture store for you. Their instruction manuals usually only have pictures with no words and sometimes I have to google or youtube an assembly video on the product. The store has everything from kitchenware, to stuff for the bedroom, bathroom, storage area, garage area, and much more. The store has a huge parking garage, which makes finding a spot easy, and there are two floors filled with products. A handy map helps guide you through the store, but the layout can still feel like a maze at times, making it difficult to track down specific items. Thankfully, the employees are always friendly and eager to assist, often leading me to where I need to go. IKEA also has a small shop on the first floor that sells Swedish goods (including their famous meatballs) and a restaurant on the second floor with a nice selection of meals. Overall, come here for cheap moderately reliable furniture, their meatballs, or for home decor inspiration!

Yelp
Waited in line for 30 minutes for appallingly bad food. Eating the pulled pork sandwich felt like I was eating brains. The only saving grace was the chocolate cake, which was actually decently good. All other food was bland, unappealing, and not worth the wait.

Yelp
Food Review - Swedish meatballs with fries and peas. It's always so good for $10, but wish the food was hotter. Lukewarm. Ikea is always so much fun to go to. It feels like a new place every step you go. Great place for inspiration on decorating. I own so many ikea products, but my room does not look like their model rooms. Currently they have a back-to-school sale 15% off til Labor Day if anyone need school/dorm stuff.

Yelp
I finally visited for the first time, and I will NEVER go back. If you prefer traditional style, materials, and service, this store is NOT for you. Other than a few upper level cabinets I looked at, almost everything is very generic, sterile, and cold. There are almost NO employees around, either. Self serve, my foot... The building is also NOT recommended if you are claustrophobic OR agoraphobic. First you have to park UNDER the building, then walk a distance to get indoors. The layout is totally impossible to understand, even when you look at the oversimplified maps posted here and there. I guess you're supposed to look at the lit arrows on the floor, which sometimes worked. I wasn't the only person who was walking around in circles... There is one way in, one way out, so there are no non-emergency exits, no windows. I could find only a one-stall bathroom with a line (unless you somehow find your way to the restaurant area [which was very confusing just to look at]), and I felt like I was in a firetrap with no escape. When the floor started to shake, THAT was the last straw. NO building should have floors that shake! Especially so far from any moving forklifts, etc! Obviously, people around the world like IKEA, or they wouldn't still be in business. But I do NOT like the look or quality of most of their products, their self-serve and "green" business plan, the sterile feeling of the store, etc. I don't think I would get along well in Sweden...

Yelp
Good store, exceptionally great staff. Special thanks to Evette and especially Avianna. Looking for the most direct route to the checkout area, Avianna personally walked me to the checkout lane and helped me get on my way. Employees at most retail outlets often won't go out of their way to help a customer in need. Not here. Thanks New England IKEA!

Yelp
Terrible experience at IKEA. We have spent a lot of money here on furniture, we bought a couch and bought the wrong color cover. We've waited about 3 months for the color we wanted to be in stock, we messaged with chat online, set up alerts, everything. Finally we get the heads up it's back and we place a pickup order (it was too small for delivery). I drive an hour out to pick it up during my pickup window, wait 20 minutes for them to go back and get it, and they come back to tell me it's out of stock and the best they can do is store credit. I asked if there was anyway for me to get the product I paid for and the answer was no. What a terrible way to do business. I guess you really can't place online order with them because it doesn't guarantee you get what you pay for and spend time to go get.

Yelp
Often a madhouse but I find the prettiest things. And, I love the Swedish meatballs for lunch. Word to wise: don't come here during college move in weekend.

Yelp
I went with my friend to get her some furniture but then we decided to try the Swedish meatballs at the ikea restaurant and I liked the food.

Yelp
There are some places where I should not be left unsupervised and Ikea is one of them. I've been a fan of the brand for over 20 years and I always find plenty of items to put in my cart. I love wandering through the showcase rooms to get inspired ideas for ways to set up and decorate our spaces at home. I suggest going early since it does get pretty crowded as the day progresses. Plenty of parking and very easy to get to off the highway. Stop in the cafe before or after for a snack and be sure to check out the outlet before getting to the check out. I've found some great deals there. Will this furniture last for generations? No, but it looks great and as long as you don't move it too much after assembly, it will last.

Yelp
WARNING: Do not order from IKEA. Ordered delivery of new couches and paid extra for removal service of the old couches. Delivery driver arrives and says he only does the delivery and another truck will be along later to do the pickup. The 2nd truck didn't show up. I called customer service, and they promised to address the issue within 24 hours. It's now been over 3 weeks. I've called 4 more times. Each time, I'm given a new excuse that contradicts the previous one. At one point, I got a new pick-up date, and they no-showed again. Now, I'm trying to get a refund, but customer service say they can only "pass the request along" and won't say when/if I'll receive it.

Yelp
Great place to get furniture and household items! I also got some food from the quick service area after the cashiers and unfortunately they forgot about my order so it took a while for my food to come out :(

Yelp
If you're looking for affordable yet good quality furniture, IKEA is the place to go. The Stoughton, MA location has lots of parking spots available. Without a car, it may be hard to get there. Not only are they known for their furniture, but also IKEA restaurant. Their signature meatballs are amazing. At IKEA, you can find plants, household items, lights, tables, chairs etc. additionally, their items are set up in a way where it shows you how they are normally displayed in a house. Large items are mostly found on the first floor right before check out. Often times the lines to checkout may be long, and sometimes they'll only open 2 lanes. Outside the checkout area there are hot dogs, ice cream and other food items for cheap (similar to Costco). Overall rating: 10/10

Yelp
It's hard for me to catch the food court but when I do, it is joyous. Average cafeteria food but so pleased to have vegetarian/vegan options. I really liked the plant balls :)

Yelp
My first time in Ikea..... I did not like it at all. Bad customer service, I had to ask multiple people the direction to items I was looking for. No one actually takes you to the location, they just tell you to follow the floor arrow that leads you to nowhere. The store was hard to navigate. It was very crowded and messy. Just not a good experience. I was so excited to come here and get renovation ideas and I was underwhelmed and disappointed. I gave it 2 stars cause at least I found what I was looking for. And I like the prices of some items... However, Not sure if I'll be back. I prefer that great 1:1 customer service you get at Bobs Furniture or Jordan's.

Yelp
In the past, we have picked everything up ourselves at the Stoughton, MA, IKEA store. or alternatively, we have had smaller items shipped to us. However, in this case, we ordered a large shipment of kitchen cabinets, and so they were sent unfortunately through RXO shipping. We were promised that our very large order would arrive yesterday, and then, although many other deliveries were made to us, this company did not notify us that they had decided to not deliver to us due to the, "weather. ". This was the same weather of course that the other companies encountered, but were able to deliver to us. Then after we called IKEA, we were told that the shipment would arrive between 9 am and noon today. Again, no one showed up or called. We called IKEA again and were told that the order would arrive at 4 pm today. Unfortunately, no one showed up and no one called, again. Now we are being told by IKEA that we cannot convert our order to pick up and pick the order up ourselves and that the order should arrive on January 20, which, of course seems quite unlikely after the performance of this company so far and what we have read about them IKEA should not use this shipping company, and when customers encounter this much difficulty, they should at the very least, allow us to pick up our own products at their store Tomorrow morning I am calling my bank and having them cancel payment on this order since that seems to be the only way that we will not be just strung along forever. I would say that if you can pick up your own items at IKEA, or order small items, that it is still a great place, but this shipping company which they are using has made this seem that we would be much better off to purchase through someone else.

Yelp
Always an adventure and a treasure hunt amidst a lot of cheap stuff. HUGE, you will get your steps in. Unfortunately everything we touched was made in China, so I have to question the quality of everything. Some China-made products are well made. Not in Ikea. On a tight budget? Ikea will get you by until you can replace the disposable products you will buy. The mock up rooms, however, are REALLY COOL and helpful in designing a space, particularly for mini people like me!

Yelp
This review update is in regards to current changes made for reopening in a world of Cov-2. A few highlights: Even though the CDC does not require masks for those who have been vaccinated, Ikea still requires all customers to wear their masks. Patrons are asked to continue to keep 6 feet apart when possible. Dining is open. There is a 'roped' line to enter the cafeteria where a host will give you a sanitized cart w/the number of trays you need and instructions on sitting and ordering, which are basically the same as they were. There was only apple juice and water available for beverages during our visit. The soda, coffee and tea area was closed off. Salads and desserts are still self serve and meals are plated by staff. There are some chips, cookies and chocolates on the way to the cashier. Both the food service staff and cashier are protected by plexiglass. Staff were wiping down all tables and chairs between guests. Lots of signs in restrooms asking patrons not to 'linger' in the area, to keep distanced and there was only one sink available to keep patrons properly distanced (this seems excessive as they have about 8 sinks in the main restroom) and the hand dryers are disabled. Two paper towel dispensers are available. The store was not busy during our visit, and they have rearranged some of the displays making the labyrinth follow a slightly different path. Most of the expected items were available although we walked out with nothing on our list making me think perhaps I should have check availability online before making our trip. With so few patrons in store it was easy to keep socially distanced although many folks didn't mind passing 'close by' in the aisles. There was a good amount of staff available throughout the store, although not in every department as previously so you may have to walk to another department to order if you are not picking up your item(s) in the warehouse area. it's good to get back in store (MA did not welcome RI's for a long time) we got a good stretch of the legs walking around the store, the new displays are interesting and inspiring and we got some Swedish meatballs, so that's a win.

Yelp
Large facility with many inspiring visual. Love their simplicity to organization for everyday objects. Prior to your visit to IKEA, always measure your room space and car space. You might purchase objects that are either way too big or way too small. Side note, this location is always packed and parking can be difficult to find. Plan for a leisure day.

Yelp
Definition of IKEA: giant store formerly known as being a fun place to go and you would expect decent service. I could just leave it at that, and a lot of you would say "yeah, WTH has happened to IKEA?" but I will elaborate a bit more: after three (yes, 3!) trips to IKEA in a 7-day span - and one REALLY frustrating experience trying to get a human on the phone at their 800 number, but there are no humans there - I decided to have the three things I wanted delivered. I just couldn't deal with a 4th trip there, there has been enough drama in 2020 without schlepping to IKEA once more. Order was scheduled to be delivered on a Monday. I received text messages all weekend long, as well as a few emails. I even received an email on Monday saying it was on the way, but at 9pm there was no delivery. Yes, my delivery timeframe was 9am-9pm!!! It was then "rescheduled" to two days later without even asking me, which is pretty nervy, but they probably figured if they called and said "can you wait around for another 12 hour period?" I would have given them an earful. Fortunately that delivery actually happened, but I had added in a few holiday ornaments and 1/3 of them were missing from the order. I quickly called IKEA to report this, but you know how that call worked out. I emailed them instead, never received a reply. I know, more not-shocking information. Today I decided that I wanted all of this stuff OUT of my apartment, so I headed to the store to return the ornaments that had arrived, but were useless without the missing ones. They opened at 10, I arrived at 11 and was immediately pissed at myself for not getting there at 9am and just waiting. Hell, I should have camped out just to get in line! I waited in line for 42 minutes to return a small bag of stuff for $21, and it was obvious to all of us waiting that TWO people working at the returns area just wasn't enough. Really, two people, and the line is snaked around so far that it was blocking access to the elevators. Instead of the usual New Year's resolutions to exercise more, eat less junk, etc I am making this one "avoid IKEA". It's been a rough year, I don't need more aggravation and neither do you.

Yelp
I am only here to write this review because all attempts to reach their customer service departments have failed. Either by phone or chat, I get the same response "We are sorry for the difficulties, and will pass your complaint on the correct department"......How can you pass on a complaint until you know WHERE and WHEN the issue occurred??????????? This morning an unmarked van pulled into our apartment complex parking lot. Two men got out and stated to carry various boxes into our building. I mad the assumption that they were going to deliver them to a specific apartment. Instead, they just left them in the entry way!!!!!!!! My father (who is 90) could not have gotten in our out if his life had depended upon it! I had to move the boxes so we could get and out. SHAME ON IKEA!!!!!!!!!!! It is bad enough your have a customer service department that is completely inept, but to hire delivery people like this is appalling!

Yelp
You get what you pay for, and this is not high quality furniture that you will have for your lifetime, but if you are looking to furnish a home, or a dorm room, on a tight budget, then you really can't go wrong with IKEA.

Yelp
It was a great experience. I had gone in to pick up a too good to go bag which is a dinner or lunch bag or whatever. It's an end of the day food saver bag so you get meals or dinners or desserts etc. that they sell there in their restaurant café for a reduced price OK we should that date it was I believe 499. I got a chicken tender dinner. I got a meatball dinner And dessert for that price and then I also picked up an order for my daughter for my grandson of a new kitchen set and I walked around for a while cause I was early and ended up picking like another $40 worth of stuff. Lol. Which is so easy cause I have that clearance section there and I found some awesome frying pans for like three dollars and then a couple I got for $1.49 which are amazing they like their $20 pans but they had an overstock and then one of the pans was, three dollars I believe because the man said they were stamped with the instructions from Canada from their other warehouses and they couldn't sell them on the floor in the Massachusetts ones because they had Canadian instructions and stuff on them. But I will say.

Yelp
I love shopping at ikea. I've gotten a lot of nice things from there just remember to go during the weekend if you go on a weekend it's a madhouse and will be annoying to shop. Eating there is always enjoyable as well. Yummy food and desserts :)

Yelp
NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM IKEA...........WHATEVER YOU DO ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH IKEA. We placed an order for a couch and chair on 7/31/24 and it I now 8/21/24 and we still have yet to see it....... When we placed the order online it said that all items were in stock and would be shipped very soon and got an estimated delivery date. Within an hour of placing the order, we were notified that the delivery was delayed because all of the items were not in stock. So, we waited and after a few days got a new delivery date. We received a conformation for the delivery the night before. So, the next day comes and we are not hearing from the delivery company RXO. Out of the blue I received an email saying that my order was not able to be delivered. The delivery company RXO NEVER contacted us and they were delivering to an unoccupied home as we were not moved in and living there yet. So now we reached out to the delivery company RXO to see I they could come back later in the day, and they said they would. We they DID NOT show up and again did not contact us. So, we called back again to reschedule the delivery ASAP. Ikea told us we had to contact the delivery company, so this is what we did. After much back and forth, they said they could deliver the items in a few days. So, we took time out of work and busy schedules and waited for the delivery at our new home. Finally, around noon time, we decided to call because again we were not hearing anything from anyone. After well over an hour on the phone, we were told they were not coming that day. Again, no contact what so ever from anyone. At this point we were getting extremely upset with the situation. Every day we would call Ikea and Ikea would tell us to call the delivery company. Then the delivery company said we had to call Ikea. There is not even any communication between Ikea and the delivery company. After several days and hours wasted on the phone, we were given another delivery date. Well, that date came and went and guess what....... NOTHING WAS DELIVERED. So again, we call, and voiced how appalled we were with this entire process. All we got was, "I'm sorry" At this point sorry does not help. I WANT ANSWERS and we were not getting them. Ikea absolutely downright refused to do anything to help us. Again, they told us to talk to the delivery company. So, we reached out to them again and guess what....... we were told there was nothing they could do and we had to talk to Ikea. We were then told that it would be another week until we would get the delivery. We that did not work for us and we told them this. Out of the blue on day they changed the delivery date on us without even reaching out to see if that day would even work for us. We are absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated and nothing was done to help us AT ALL. Every person we spoke with at Ikea and the shipping company RXO did absolutely nothing to fix what they messed up and nothing at all to help us in any way. Here it is almost 1 month later and we are still waiting for our delivery to show up. NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM IKEA

Yelp
I shop here because it's cheap, relatively speaking for what you get. But customer service is awful. I bought over $1500 worth of closet storage to be delivered and confirmed multiple times in store that they would be able to deliver to the 4th floor in stairs only building. If I were to it custom installed, it would be 6k or more. On delivery day, the delivery window changed from 11 - 3 to 1-5 and they showed up at 5 pm. And they said they don't do more than 2 flights of stairs. IKEA customer service said they would send a 3 person moving truck and I would receive a call from the moving company. Two days later, I simply received a text message about a delivery window for the next day. I arranged for family to come and be present. The delivery driver shows up with only himself! LOL I requested a call from the IKEA Stoughton Store Manager and I have not heard anything back. What a waste of time. I think I'll hire my own movers to go get and delivery the stuff since that's still a lot cheaper than custom closets. It's too bad because I really want to like IKEA, but customer service is the worst.

Yelp
If you want to contact Ikea customer service, be prepared to lose a piece of your soul and mind. I just went there today to purchase a mattress and some other fixtures. I was able to get most items from the shelves with no problem. And they do indeed have some delicious Swedish meatballs. But there comes the komplement kompl shif which is just a piece of wood board. When I went to the aisle to get it, the ikea employee stopped me and told me that I need to go to a help desk to get this item, so I did. I went to the help desk, and they print out a sheet for me to pay at the cashier. So I paid. After I paid, they provided no further information and the item is just "reserves" with no way of picking it up. Keep in mind it's just some wood board that cost $10 a piece, not some thousand dollars sofa. I went through all these steps, I paid for the item, but I was still unable to get the items. What's even better is when I called ikea customer service, and they place you on hold for the duration of a tennis match. I'm not even exaggerating, you could honestly go finish a full golf course, watch a movie, have dinner, take a shower, make love to your partner, and you would still be waiting for someone to pickup the phone. What makes this already painful experience even worse, is that while you are on hold, ikea would continuous tell you how much they've done to save the earth, how all your problem can be solved on their website, and how their customer service representative are "trying their best" to get to me. All company should provide the option for customers to wait in silent, forcing this loud repetitive music with this robotic machine voice lines is honestly inhumane. To top it off, when I finally get to a representative, she could not help me with my issue whatsoever, instead, she lied to me, claimed the reason why I didn't get my items is because they didn't have stock. I checked the stock online, and there are 85 available. If I'm not mistaken, ikea employees should have the same stock information as all customers, so she just blatantly lied to get me off her line. When I confronted her about this, she just puts me on another "20 minutes" hold and eventually transfer me into "another department" that doesn't exist in which I finally gave up after waiting for 2 hours and 40 minutes. So in brief, she couldn't solve the issue, so she put me hanging in the perpetual jail of "20 minutes wait." I genuinely regret going through hours of waiting, all these trouble and suffering for $20 worth of wood. I can always earn another $20, but I will never be the same with all these pain and suffering, and a broken soul.

Yelp
The Swedish meatballs are definitely better than the plant balls. We were pleasantly surprised by the apple crumble too. Affordable food and we didn't have to wait too long even on a Friday night. The mashed potatoes were also really delicious.

Yelp
Guys...you lost me when you made it extremely difficult to find the shopping carts. LAME. Upon entering the facility the restroom had a toilet that needed an exorcism and would not stop flushing. Not very environmentally friendly huh IKEA? The layout is horrific. It makes all of the customers angry. People are wandering around the store like a horde of hungry zombies. Thank goodness for the cafeteria...NOT! The chaos ensuing at this cafeteria made this a hard pass. I'm pretty sure I got attacked by fleas in the bedding section. Not cool. As we were leaving the parking garage smelled like dead fish. Why?!? The only saving grace was the metal ladle my daughter found. This store can Florgin my Gorgin.

Yelp
A great place to shop. Prices are good and some ideas to furnish a small house. Workers are so helpful.

Yelp
Terrible delivery service and partner company Calling customer service mostly does not help because everything related to delievery and/or product needs to be relayed to local store (which does not have phone number to contact!!!) So you will need to either drive to local store and talk to them, or let customer service people to write an email to local store and hope they reply soon.

Yelp
I will never buy anything from IKEA online again. When an item comes damaged they will not take it back easily. They want the customer to dispose of the item - their trash. It has taken me almost a month and many, many long phone calls to get a resolution. Today is Oct 11. I have been trying to return a damaged shoe bench since Sept 16. They have told me numerous times that they would send me a label to return the item, via email and then by mail. I have not received a label. They were going to give me a refund, but I would have to dispose of it myself. It does not fit in my trash can. They said they could have it picked up, but it would take over a week. I do not have the confidence that they will pick it up. There is no way to escalate the case to a supervisor so the customer service people have tried to help, but do not have the tools to do a good job. I will now wait 10 days for a refund and then donate it to Habitat for Humanity. I will write damaged corner, needs to be put together. I will never again order anything online at IKEA and I will tell my friends to never, never order anything online from IKEA.

Yelp
As many would say, it's a love hate relationship with IKEA. It's the perfect one stop shop for almost anything you could need for your home / apartment. Almost anytime I move into a new place, I take a drive down to IKEA in Stoughton. Went on a Saturday in this case - must have been the longest line I've seen in my life. Took me an hour and a half of waiting to get through the line, even taking into account I got there maybe only 20 minutes after they opened for the day. Went on a Monday a couple months back and there was no line... just walked right in. IKEA does enforce a lot of social distancing which is what slows the line down a bit, its worth it though. Per usual left with $400 worth of furniture and kitchen stuff, which is nothing compared to what others walk away with. If you need anything from furniture, to kitchen, bedroom.... you name it and IKEA has it. Take a trip by if you are OK with a long wait.

Yelp
Online store showed my nearest IKEA (Stoughton) had many items in stock. The online order / checkout said "one or more of your items is out of stock" and to adjust my order. But it didn't tell me which was out of stock!! I dug around, and each item did show to be in stock! WTF IKEA!? This is the 3rd time I've tried to order in a week and been blocked by different things. I called the number and it claims to be high call volume every time, and then 'goodbye'. No recourse. The email function at the contact us page shows only one form field option: Cancel Order. I guess that's my only option. Not to use them. Poor showing, IKEA. Poor.

Yelp
It is like any other Ikea. Kudos to IKEA team though for maintaining their standards. Love the IKEA experience.

Yelp
Just about food (love the furniture but I have absolutely no idea how to evaluate them). Affordable cafeteria style food - meatballs small and chewy. Standard Mac & Cheese - not overly creamy and bit liquidy. Not too salty though! Pasteries are good - average coffee cake, nothing to brag about. Still, cafe is great for its value and reliable taste. Childhood nostalgia may have influenced this review.

Yelp
This store is feeling the effects of shipping problems fully. Things you could always depend on finding here are no longer in stock. This includes a lot of the basic furniture pieces. It is def worth becoming a member and creating an online shopping list, which you may use to see what is in stock. The restaurant is open but the house in Google maps and the stores website are wrong. The restaurant opens at noon, not 11. Enjoy getting your Swede on!

Yelp
I have never been so disappointed in Customer Service. I was scheduled to have a sofa and a chair delivered to my new house (a house that has no furniture) on Sunday. I was given a 12 hour window (9am-9pm!). Despite that being ridiculous, I stayed home all day waiting. At 8pm, I received a text that my furniture would arrive between 8:30-8:53pm. At 9:15pm, I received a text that it wouldn't be delivered at all and with no further details. I called the next morning, only to be given no explanation as to why it wasn't delivered as scheduled and then told that it would not be delivered until Wednesday. When I expressed my disappointment, I was told they would deliver it on Tuesday. I then learned in an email that they had scheduled it for a WEEK from Tuesday. When I called back, they stated there was nothing they could do because they had other deliveries scheduled. When I stated that good business would be to place my order near the front of the queue given that it was already two days late in being delivered, the agent sounded like she didn't even understand what I was asking. In the grand scheme of life, this is no big deal but I think it's worth a "yelp". What awful customer service and delivery service.

Yelp
This is about as real as a 3 star can be... it's extremely hit or miss. When you get someone who cares about their job and helping it's a 5 star experience. Unfortunately there are a number of people who just don't care and don't actually want to help you. There is no sign telling you to sign in the tablet so I sat here for 10 minutes while numerous employees have come and gone including some just hanging out in the back while there is one employee actually taking returns... from someone who has returned about 20 items on multiple orders and payment methods... not once did anyone offer or did he call for help. Having someone come out so it just wasn't the one employee working in the one customer would have helped the now significantly longer line that has people with one or two items.

Yelp
When you walk into IKEA, you can visualize what your future apartment or house can look like. So many beautiful rooms with the most amazing lights and furniture. This place can give you so many ideas. The only downside is, everything has to be assembled. If you're good with directions you will be fine. I can't stand reading directions!I I can't even put a three leg table together. I think IKEA is now offering assembly from a third-party.. If you go to the actual store, be prepared to stand in line for a while. The lines of people resemble that of a super market before an impending blizzard lol. I guess it's because there are not that many locations in the north east so people travel from all over to visit this lovely store. I I found some amazing light fixtures that are so unique and really cool. Their furniture is not comfortable but they look nice. They do an excellent job showing how to use limited space and make it functional. And yes, their kitchens are really pretty. IKEA is a wonderful place!

Yelp
We drove a little over an hour to get here! God how I wish there was a location closer to us. Anyway, you can easily spend hours and hours browsing anything and everything for a home. After about an hour here, we headed to the restaurant to beat the dinner crowd. The smoked salmon with potato salad was delicious! The cakes and cheesecakes were underwhelming. The salmon fillet was dry so I wouldn't get it again. However the meatballs were alright....they aren't as awesome as everyone makes them out to be but they're certainly better than the veggies balls which consist mostly of oatmeal and some spices it seems. This location is pretty clean when I compare it to others I've been to where people are literally sleeping or snoring in the beds lol I'm looking forward to returning soon - they've got some great gadgets for the kitchen!

Yelp
I have been an avid IKEA customer for a long long time but wow, was i disappointed the last time I was there - just a few days ago. Prices have gone up and quality down including all items in the cafeteria (which I used to love). Customer service has deteriorated, pricing is deceiving and the quality.... The quality vs prices makes no longer sense. I don't think I will be returning any time soon.

Yelp
I live an hour away from IKEA and I had to make two trips in one day. I purchased a dining table and as I got home, I realized that there were no nails to connect the pieces. I simply called customer service and he suggested that I visit the store to pick up a spare set of nails. If not, they offered to mail me the nails; however, it would take 7 business days. We opted to revisit the store to pick up the missing nails. The store is very organized and always had employees throughout the store to help find and/or order an item. They are also known for their iconic cinnamon rolls. I would recommend getting them when they have a fresh batch available.

Yelp
Meatballs are yummy! $3 kids meal with 4 meatballs, French beans and mash potatoes/French fries are popular healthy choice for kids. Regular $8 for 8 meatballs with veg and potatoes are worth adding $2 for extra 8 meatballs. Garlic cod fillet $7 is tasty option. Weekday has good value discounts with Tues-Thurs 50% off meatballs.

Yelp
IKEA outdoor furniture states that it will withstand all weather. We purchased the BONDHOLMEN outdoor dining set in August 2022. When we opened up our patio in April 2023, we realized that the entire set was pealing paint. IKEA would not give a credit or replacement as it had been longer than 6 months. The set did not even make it through one winter, 8 months later the set is unusable and IKEA refused to do anything. I would think the return policy would be flexible for items that basically fall apart in 8 months, especially since we obviously were not out on our patio in Feb (the 6 month mark) in Massachusetts. AND, IKEA DELETED EVERY REVIEW THAT I WROTE ABOUT THE BONDHOLMEN FURNITURE LINE AS THEY WERE ALL 1 STAR.
