I want to start by saying the staff was extremely pleasant and the ambiance was festive and fun. It’s a great spot to sit down and enjoy a meal.
The torta was huge — seriously massive (check the photo, I used my whole forearm for scale 😂). The bread itself was probably the best torta bread I’ve ever had — super fresh and flavorful.
That said, the filling portions felt a bit light compared to the size of the bread, and the price was a few dollars higher than similar tortas I’ve had elsewhere. I also tried the gordita, but the shell was pretty flimsy and fell apart while eating, which made it tough to enjoy.
Overall, it’s a fun place with great vibes and friendly service, and I’m glad I tried it. With so many options in the area, the portion-to-price ratio might keep me from returning regularly, but it’s definitely worth checking out at least once.
