Dang, these guys might be my favorite for Mexican food in the area now. I'll be honest, having been around the US, I can confidently say West Michigan has some of the worse Mexican food I have ever eaten consistently, but this was something that didn't make me viscerally angry when I ate it. Their spicy pork has a great flavor. The fajitas I bought weren't bone dry and the flour tortillas they gave me were super tasty. Also, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but 18 dollars for fajitas is shockingly affordable given how inflation has been lately. I still need to try their corn tortillas, I find those to be a little more hit-or-miss around GR so I usually don't order them even though they're my favorite. But the refried beans... Mmm... Dang they know how to make some good refried beans. There is something almost smokey about them? But not quite? I don't know how to describe it but they're probably the best refried beans I've ever had. My only complaint so far (I've ordered them on doordash twice now and that's it) is that the rice was crunchy and dry in some spots the last time I ordered. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or if they need to update their rice recipe. Either way, I can live with it because everything else made me so happy, I'm glad I found something I can tolerate around here, and I may even dare say I enjoy it! Bravo to the chefs and the owner. Whatever they're doing, keep it up! Thanks for offering good food!
