Ike's Love & Sandwiches

It was a beyond amazing experience! The store manager, Ray was very helpful and patient with us while we looked and helped us narrow down our options as we love many of their sandwiches and there was additional valentine sandwiches to try. We tried their new sandwich called, I’ll be your valentine and I said yes, please. It tasted delicious, I wonder how they get all their sandwiches so perfect every time!

Hey this place is good. I eat at a lot of different sandwich shops and this may be my new favorite. I think there’s something especially tasty in their sauce. Not sure what. Also, they have better lemonade than just Minute Maid like some of the other places. I’ll be back. Good music too. The Strokes are playing at the moment. 👏👏👏

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches at this place! Don't know of a better sandwich shop. Haven't had anything here that was bad. And they serve Zapp's chips. 10/10!

So many options for vegans and vegetarians and the fake meat they use is very believable. I love the bread too and the vegan sauce. I went here before I was vegan and loved it and am still able to enjoy it. Hope they open a place up in south Austin but that would be bad for my wallet. This place is expensive but worth it in my opinion.

Carolyn and Derrick were amazing!! Super clean all throughout the store. Bathrooms were spotless. The food was just incredible!! I got the Bad Santa which had fried chicken, marinara, pesto with other goodies. My husband got the Damon Bruce which was steak, onion rings, steak sauce and provolone. Made fresh and oh man. Finally a good sandwich place that will be my new go to. Thank you again to Carolyn and Derrick for providing awesome customer service! Rock on<3

So freaking delicious!!! The menu is very large so plan for a few moments to even look through before ordering but wow this sandwich just changed the directory of the life. I got one with fried chicken & bbq in it. Will definitely return! A great addition to the Great Hills neighborhood.

Got the Silicon Valley sandwich which I really enjoyed. The prices are a little high but the sandwiches are hefty and I thought the french bread was really tasty. Parking was easy, staff was friendly, and there is some seating available. Also, a lot of vegetarian and vegan options available.

I was excited to see the vegan and vegetarian options on their menu. They are doing it right by offering sandwiches for everyone. So many interesting choices to pick from! The place is well lit with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are kind and friendly. Definitely check this place out if you're in the mood for some sandwiches.

Ordered the Falling for Ike's and after trying the sandwich, I indeed am in love with Ike. He deserves the biggest smooches for these delicious sandwich creations. This sandwich was so hefty and filling and I love how extensive the vegetarian menu is, which you don't see too often. I need to return IMMEDIATELY so that I can try all the other sandwiches. Also got free lollipops with my order which was very cute :D

I can confidently say I am no longer a jersey mikes girl anymore after trying Ike's. HOLY SHIIII!! It's delicious. After a hungry shopping spree we needed something quick and close by. Looked and saw Ike's and said that should do. Both my boyfriend and I never been and only heard about it. We walked in and it had a good amount of people, which I definitely know why now. We got the hot momma and I believe the Friday the 13th sandwich (can't find it on the menu now) DELICIOUS AND MOUTHWATERING! We traded both our sandwiches and honestly they are basically tied. We can't wait to try the different sandwiches and breads! SEE YALL SOON

I try not to say this aloud in Texas (iykyk) but I am a California native who has a loooong history with Ikes and while I've been here for five years now, I only recently discovered that there are Ikes throughout Austin and I couldn't be happier. My love for Ikes as a whole: - I have been to various locations in multiple states and they are CONSISTENT with their sandwiches - The Dutch crunch is painfully good. When I say painful, I mean that literally. It does scrape the roof of your mouth a bit but well worth the pain - You can add a variety of free toppings like banana peppers and jalapenos - Ever sandwich comes with those delightful caramel apple pops - They have TONS of vegetarian options and many can be made vegan. In addition, each location has a special sandwich that can only be found in that location. Despite the options, I am a sucker for the "Sometimes I'm a Vegetarian" (yes, I am fully time vegetarian). Its the one I always come back to and they have it at every location! This location in particular: - Unfortunately, I don't have too much to say about this particular location as I had an online pickup order but the staff were nice and greeted me when I walked in. - For my girlies who want to know about the parking situation: it's in a plaza with AMPLE parking so no need to fret :)

I personally really enjoyed the matt cain sandwich. I also tried the meat ball sub which I thought was okay but my boyfriend may have gotten food poisoning from. The bread here is super delectable. Tables are clean and lots of options to choose from. Many halal options as well.

These are the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever had. They do not just throw veggies on a sandwich, there is love and creativity! The sandwich makers were wonderful and knew about their craft! All in all probably my favorite sandwich place!

Ok, I LOVE a good sandwich. I was VERY hungry when I ordered and SHOCKED at the price........ BUT IT WAS WORTH IT. Everything was so fresh and so good!!! The place is cute and the service was great. My sandwich lasted for 2 meals and was absolutely worth it! I can't wait to come again!

The steak and cheese sandwich was really great on wheat bread. Will definitely return.

Ikes is a place that I ate at frequently when I lived in Arizona. We were in the Austin area from Houston after Beryl hit and we were looking for a place to eat when I saw there was an Ikes about 10 minutes from my airbnb. Now the best thing about Ikes is, as long as they have the ingredients, they can make any sandwich. There was a sandwich I use to eat all the time and I never see it on the menu anymore. Knowing that it was a whole different part of the country, I winced as I uttered the "Stephen Jenkins" sandwhich and to my surprise, they were able to make it as well as my fiances mario bros sandwhich. If you want to know what it is, its a turkey, pesto, provolone, onion and tomato sandwich. We were staying with another person from Arizona who was super excited as well to be able to have a bit of home again for dinner. I tipped these people really well as they had to pretty much take on learning how to make two off the menu sandwiches while orders were coming in still. They will always have my business

Tiny sandwich shop in the back of the strip mall, but if you just need to grab and go a delicious sando, come by Ike's. They're the sandwich masters who build epic things. The calorie counts are a bit scary but worth it. My go to is the Matt Cain (Turkey, roast beef, salami) with all the veggies and the legendary dirty sauce on Dutch crunch. Something about that bread is super special. Hefty and will leave you plenty full. If that's not your jam, they got plenty of other options too! Seating is limited but they do have some outside tables if the weather is nice.

Had fantastic sandwich here today... but I have to question the viability of a sandwich shop business model based on a menu wherein the least expensive meal option is $20. I appreciate that inflation has raised prices across the board, but a sandwich shop really needs to have some $10-$12 lunch options This place would have a spot in my lunch rotation if it had a half sandwich meal combo deal .... but I'm simply not going to regularly spend $20 for a sandwich lunch, no matter how delicious soda fountain out as well at my visit, with no way to even get water. Cashier a bit matter of fact about the inconvenience. First impressions count.

This was a good idea for the kids and the girls and the kids and the boys with it I guess they will have a great day . Love to see your mom happy birthday and have fun and have a good time at your new job. The meat and the dogs love you guys so much and cheese is always a great thing to eat. It is so hard for me to eat anything but cheese and bread and meatballs but it's not a problem at this place. It's just so easy to get out and get a good sandwich or something like that but it's just not a big meal for you guys.

Repeat offenders, lolz. When I saw the seasonal offerings I just had to order a Bad Santa...delicious! That pesto brings it to another level. And I was so happy to see this card in my to go bag letting me know about the grand opening celebration this weekend. Guess I know what we are doing Saturday!

Average sandwich, overblown price. A combo meal was just shy of $20 bucks - that includes the sandwich, a fountain drink and a bag of voodoo chips. That's about $6 too much. I had the 'name of the girl you're dating', again okay sandwich, but I wouldn't recommend it over the many other great sandwich shops in town. Voodoo was the only chips brand and I gotta say, not great. The fountain drink didn't have any watered down or cross contamination taste, so that's a plus. Service was good, place was empty but I went in the late afternoon. Price absolutely not worth it.

Damn good sandwiches & really friendly, helpful staff! Stopped by on a hunger whim & was very nicely surprised. Then found another one in my 'hood, which is a no-brainer when I'm hangry!

I started coming here when I began eating plant based and absolutely love their food. My goto is the Jayme Meatless, I love their yellow barbecue sauce. I appreciated them more when I made the switch eating no dairy and the option to have vegan dirty sauce is great. Please bring back the cookie sandwich . 10/10 would recommend

This place is definitely a spot to stop and try I enjoyed it so much! The menu can be overwhelming! But, once you find something you like you'll come get it again. I enjoyed my experience. Definitely will try it again. The lady at the front counter helped she did really good so great customer service.

I got the Da Vinci with voodoo heat zapps and Pepsi. It was the best sandwich I've ever had! Never going back to any other sandwich place again. They also threw in a caramel apple pop.

First time to Ikes Love and Sandwiches went to the Grand Opening event and the Sandwich was very good got the Nacho Boy Supreme very good but really messy did not care for the Lollipop they give you very hard so i think will pass on that The Ambiance is nice fairly small and your average look for a sandwich shop nice decor and friendly employees

First timer with decades of sandwich experience! My Amuna was awesome. Highly recommended.

For our 2nd visit, after a great first experience, we had the meatball sub. It too, was delicious; by far tastier than any meatball sandwich I've had elsewhere! As always, staff was super inviting & pleasant.

Tried this for the first time and it was so yummy. The sandwich tasted very fresh and was the perfect balance. The buffalo sauce was very yummy and not too spicy! The sandwich's are pretty big so you can definitely save one half for later, will be coming here more often!

Incredible balance and portioning + amazing flavor - one of the best sandwiches ive ever had and I can't wait to go back bc their menu has at least 4 or 5 sandwiches I've never seen anywhere else that sounded amazing

I love Ike's. They do a good job at this location. Not much seating, but a guaranteed solid sandwich every time. The Menage A Trois, Matt Cain, and Jim Rome are favorites, but they always have fun specials too

Definitely the best sandwich shop around! They have so many options as well as bread options! Meat or veggie!!! Fresh and tasty! just the way my mom would make it!

The food is amazing, there is nothing else like it. I have only came here once but I plan to come back here as much as possible. When I came here I got the Brutus it's like a vegetarian Caesar salad inside of bread (two of my favorite foods). I love the reference to Roman history in the name, Brutus. The vegan chicken in the sandwich tasted so real I almost couldn't believe it was vegan. All the vegan and vegetarian options make this place stand out among sandwich shops. I ordered the sandwich to pick-up and it was ready when I got there. Though I didn't interact with the staff much, the woman at the counter seemed nice. The store looked nice and clean. The next time I get a chance to come here again I will.

DELICIOUS!!! Superb filling, flavors and fresh sourdough bread. Couldn't ask for a better mid afternoon sandwich. I am looking forward to trying everything on the menu! This place might turn into my new favorite spot!!

I came for something els here in the plaza was fascinated by this sandwich shop came inside to order the beast mode sandwich best thing I ever had and the . The employees were very helpful in helping me make my sandwich how I like. Definitely coming back for more!
