The Aaron Nunez is amazing. Always get Dutch bread.

Google
Good sandwiches but EXTREMELY disappointing catering experience. We ordered from this location for an event. The food was over 45 min late in arriving. We had 85 hungry folks standing around waiting and waiting and waiting.

Google
Fast friendly service. And amazing sandwiches. Came for a quick bite not expecting much, but got amazing sandwiches. Will definitely be back again

Google
These are some of the best sub sandwiches in Austin. I highly recommend this place. I usually get the tuna sandwich, but everything else is delicious!

Google
Great sandwiches and the vegan options have made Ike’s my go-to sandwich place!

One of our most favorite sandwich places is Ike’s sandwich shops. We have come here a lot of times. I think i love their versatile menu and how many choices they have for vegetarians and vegans. Their World famous Dutch crunch bread is my favorite choice for my sandwich. It tastes so good. My husband usually orders Friday the 13th. For vegetarian they have vegan chicken, vegan beef, eggplant, vegan bacon in sandwiches almost 20 varieties. I love their James and Giant peach and Barbette, even though I have tried a couple more and also loved it. I also recommend getting their freebies with dirty sauce. It’s so good. They have cool names for their sandwiches too. I also like their Voodoo flavored chips and Mandarin, cardamom and turmeric drink. Overall it’s a must try restaurant and you’ll keep coming back for more.

Google
The Matt Cain Sandwich was so good! Perfectly toasted. I couldn’t choose between the Dirty or Grandfather sauces, so got both on the side and dipped my sandwich - Highly Recommend!

Yelp
We were staying in town on vacation. Decided to stop in. Clean restaurant and a friendly staff with great service. The food was amazing. I got the Matt Cain sandwich and my hubby got the Cheesesteak. So sad this isn't close enough to home to make it one of my regular places to eat! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
I first tried Ike's back in college on ASU campus. Usually, I don't LOVE sandwich shops. In my opinion, I usually see sandwiches that I can make at home with great bread from local bakeries, so I don't totally see the point. But Ike's is DIFFERENT. It is PHENOMENAL. They have an insanely large menu that differs between locations, always giving you a new option to try when you're feeling experimental. On top of that, I don't think I've ever had a BAD sandwich here. I think I've had close to 30 of their menu items and I am satisfied EVERY time. It's expensive, but the sandwiches are so big and filling I sometimes split them across two meals and that makes the cost very respectable. Decor is super cute! Furnished with collectible lunchboxes on the wall and pictures of famous people that have tried Ike's, it feels cozy. Staff is always super sweet and seem like they enjoy their job. I'm not a huge fan of chains - but Ike's does something special and I'm happy to be their customer time and time again.

Yelp
Decided to stop in after years of getting sent pics of Ike's logo from my friends. The server was nice and helpful. I forgot her name. The vibe was cool. It's a sandwich shop. The menu is vast and it would probably be overwhelming but when is I walked in I was the only customer. I had time to talk recommendations with the server so she helped me choose. I got the #91 Paul Reubens on Dutch bread and added pickles and banana peppers along with lettuce and tomato. Sandwich is large enough for two or leftovers and is served warm. The Dutch bread is good but don't think I like as much crunch on the top. I think I'd liked the sourdough better. The lettuce and tomato was fresh. I couldn't tell how good or bad the pastrami is due to the pickles and peppers masking it. It's definitely not a slight on the sandwich as it's my fault that I added the veggies. The sandwich was good but it seems a bit pricey. Prices varied for other sandwiches so I guess the value is depending on what you order.

Yelp
the sandwich was really tasty, bread was sweet and crunch and i love that, soggy break makes me uncomfortable. the only thing i would change is the amount of sauce. i am a SAUCE GIRL so i like it dripping out sometimes. will come back. delicious. Got this from door dash so i can't comment on the service.

Yelp
I wish we had Ike's in the DFW! This sandwich shop beats out other chain sandwhich shops hands down. I love all the varieties in their menu whether you fancy meat, chicken or a veggie concoction. They also offer Dutch crunch bread which is sooooo delicious. The service is super quick and efficient - no long wait to get your meal especially with the consistent number of people coming in to the restaurant. Price point is on the higher side but so worth it. The restaurant is clean and bright. I love the open feel of the restaurant and they have tons of tables to accommodate a crowd.

Yelp
Love grabbing a sammy and sitting umder the trees! This place is a great spot to people watch and enjoy your lunch. They have a great selection of meat and vegetarian options. My kid sticks with the Adam Richmond and I'm a sucker for the silicone valley!!! I truly feel you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. They are huge so the $15 price tag, for me, is worth it. I eat half for lunch and the other for dinner. It does take a few minutes for them to prepare your order so calling ahead is a good idea for those on a time crunch.
google avatar

Camden U.

Yelp
Very good sandwich, if you want to have a good time: get the Adam Richmond, Halal chicken, add dirty sauce, add pickles, sourdough. You will walk away pleased with your choice. So good.

Yelp
We recently tried ikes for the first time after hearing many positive reviews. I ordered the Madison Bumgarner and the Menage a trois extra dirty. The bread was AMAZING. The flavor was soooo good and the texture was like a toasted focaccia almost. Unfortunately thats all we ate actually. The sandwhiches both had an EXTREME amount of sauce on them. The flavor was really good but the meat on both was chopped up to the point that with the amount of sauce resulted in a texture comparable to wet tuna salad. The prices for the amount of food you get is fair and I would like to try it again but maybe ask for the sauces on the side.

Yelp
Ike's has to be one of the most underrated sandwich shops ever. They have SO many sandwich choices, many of which are vegan/vegetarian which is a super plus. You can get a standard cold sandwich or a warm sandwich. I am particularly fond of "Name of the girl I'm dating" and "Friday the 13th" I have had them both several times, and each time they are made to perfection. I have not once had a bad experience. Their sandwiches are always thick, full, and delicious. You also always get a lollipop as a treat with your order which I just love.

Yelp
This review is in comparison to other fast sandwich shops (Quizno's, Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's, etc). The variety of options at this sub shop is second to none, and there are a ton of vegetarian and vegan options as well to try out. Tuna - The tuna sandwich is pretty average, I think. There wasn't anything that popped about it's flavor, but I didn't dislike any part of it as well. I would probably be more bold with toppings if I get the tuna again (like adding jalapenos). Pee Wee (Vegan Turkey) - I love this sandwich! The purple slaw makes it unique and adds a pop of flavor and crunch to the sandwich. It also kind of dyes the rest of the sandwich kind of purple for an artistic flair. I just really like how there are options that fit any diet or preference on here, and the quality of most sandwiches is pretty good.

Yelp
I have been coming to this Ike's for 4 years now and I always get the Hunter Pence sandwich, I understand inflation is on the rise, but $15 for a sandwich is quite steep, so thus I find myself coming less and less. It's delicious, stuffed with turkey, bacon, avocado, etc. and I love the crunch of their famous Dutch crunch bread. I appreciate them offering a caramel apple lollipop with each sandwich. It's a popular spot on the weekends, and they have an extensive menu, so there is something for all taste buds.

Yelp
I tried Ike's for the first time a few weeks ago at a catered event. I was really surprised about how much I liked the sandwich I had and decided I wanted to go back. The menu is endless and quite distracting. I ended up ordering the Barry Bonds sandwich which they don't even have on the menu anymore, but they said they could still make it. Service left a bit to be desired, but not a deal breaker. Everything was great, except the fries. It's a new menu item, so it might be a work in progress. We spent over $75 in two sandwich combos, a kid's meal and fries which seems steep for sandwiches but I don't mind cause I really enjoyed the sandwich and even got to save half for later.

Yelp
I am an elementary teacher who kept eyeing my teammate's sandwich and felt compelled to drop by this place after work. The staff was patient and supportive with helping this indecisive foodie choose a sandwich. I ordered the Chase O., without lettuce, and found it delightful. The bread did not take over the texture of the entire sandwich. I would order it again, but as much variety as I saw in the menu, I'd love to try another sandwich. I don't know if it was because of Valentine's Day, but I was offered a complimentary delicious Charm's caramel apple sucker with my sandwich.

Yelp
Great Sandwich, got the Buffalo chicken as per the suggestion from the staff. Awesome staff and the place was clean and well maintained. The sandwich was fresh and delicious. Would've given 5 star if not for the price, the chicken sandwich came around $14 plus taxes!
google avatar

Yelp
The Hunter Pence sandwich was my favorite, definitely thought about removing the BBQ but I didn't and it was great. Tasted like a normal BLT type sandwich, I honestly wish they made a combo with soup which would elevate the experience. The Jim Rome was kinda the same as the Hunter Pence with out bacon and barbecue. Everything seemed fresh and tasty. These two sandwiches with chips were about 40$ which in my opinion is overpriced. The sandwiches were really great, 40$ great? I'm not sure. The service was great, they were about to close and they seem nice.

Yelp
This place is sneaky! I've heard it's good but it's really really good! Very unique menu, sandwiches are unlike anywhere I've ever had. Service was quick and friendly. I live way too close to this place to not be here at least weekly. Make sure you look at the menu before coming because there's so many great options you'll want to explore before arriving.

Yelp
I'm so glad Ike's continues to expand outside of the Bay Area. I had no clue there were Ike's in Texas until I was looking for a good lunch spot. There is nothing like Ike's Dutch crunch bread. I've had Dutch crunch other places, but none are quite like Ike's. Ike's dirty sauce is one of the best condiments ever made. I always ask for extra. On this visit, I got the 240, which is a steak sandwich. It was awesome. Highly recommend. The restaurant itself was busy, and some of the tables had not been cleaned. We ended up cleaning off our own table. The fountain drink area is cramped, and on my visit was pretty dirty as well.
google avatar

Tanya W.

Yelp
These sandwiches are way too sweet my savory tastebuds. And every single time they drown the sandwiches in so much sauce it's just wayyy too much. Breads are too sweet too. Not much of a fan, maybe I'll try a veggie one with no sauce.

Yelp
Back again getting lunch for hubby and they now have fries its perfect . Love this place so many options ! Service is always A1.
google avatar

Yelp
It wasn't terrible but it also wasn't amazing. I was in the area and craving a sandwich, this place popped up so thought I would check them out. I was sold when I noticed their chip selection was Zapp's! I ordered online because I was on a tight schedule, and my meal was ready as soon as I arrived so super plus for that. There are a ton of options to choose from so I was a bit overwhelmed as to what I wanted. I opted for the "Matt Cain" the sandwich is a good size and comes with lots of meats etc. I added banana peppers and pickles because a sandwich isn't a sandwich without pickles! Overall, it was just okay, and for almost 20 bucks for a sandwich and chips, I was expecting to be blown away. If you have any sandwich recommendations from this place please let me know, I would definitely give them another chance.
google avatar

Brenda R.

Yelp
Yes! These sandwiches are delicious. They have many options and I am sure you will find something that fits your taste buds. The bread is soft and crunchy it's the perfect combination. The staff is kind and they take your order right away. It's a casual restaurant so need to dress up. It is kept clean and tons of parking since it is inside a plaza.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is genuinely fantastic with tons of vegan and vegetarian options without skipping on flavor. The location is conveniently located right across from IKEA, Petsmart, and Joanne's, so it's a great location to grab a snack after doing your shopping. Always feel welcome coming in and there's always great music playing!

Yelp
I LIVE A PLANTBASE LIEFSTYLE / VEGAN I must say this place is pretty good with vegan options, even though i did my own style sandwich lol. I enjoyed the staff as they were intrigued by my lifestyle and Vibrams I had on lol i will try them out when i come back in town....

Yelp
Love Ike's ! Been coming here since I moved to Austin. So many vegetarian options - my favorite is the prissy presley.

Yelp
So Ikes is one of my favorite sandwich shops. I don't go often because they are a little pricey but today I was craving a Meatless Mike (think Subways Meatball sub but with a meat substitute.) Meatless meatballs, tomato sauce and cheese. I used to get them from the Cedar Park location often. With that craving in mind I made a Grubhub order from work, one Meatless Mike add Mayo and one Mel-Lo Kitty (Meatless chicken with orange sauce, cheese and avacaodo.) For later. When I opened the Meatless Mike I was sure I got the wrong sandwich. Instead of meatballs, I had a long meat patty. It might have been a Meatless patty, but I can't be sure so I didn't eat it. There was a small amount of tomato sauce, no mayo, tomatoes and covered in Lettuce! No where in the description did it say this sandwich had Lettuce or tomatoes. (I don't mind the tomatoes, obviously.) If I had known about the extras, I would have written in that I didn't want any. Then again, I HAD written I wanted mayo and that wasn't on my sandwich so... With dread I opened my later sandwich and almost cried. Where was the Meatless chicken?!? It was an avacaodo sandwich with so much orange sauce on it, the whole thing was drowning in it. And again, even though it wasn't in the description, Lettuce and tomatoes. This is the second time I had this experience at the Round Rock location. The first time I was standing right there, had just verbally given my order and it still wasn't anything like I ordered. Full me once, full me twice... there won't be a third time no matter how much I want a Meatless Mike.

Yelp
Found this place when I was in the area. Walked in and I mean when you want great customer service Mason was it! He recommended and suggested a boat load of options what had my party intrigued! I personally ordered the Matt Cain and the Sam Bass oh not to mention The Hella Fat Bastard. I will be coming back. Once again A HUGE THANK YOU MASON!

Yelp
I recently moved from Florida and found this super amazing restaurant in Austin, I fell in love, I work in the medical field and I always (almost every day) go to ike's during break time. Highly recommend it
google avatar

Brittany L.

Yelp
This is a decent sandwich shop with an extensive list of options to choose from. The sandwiches are very large, and you can easily modify any of the options to accommodate any dietary restrictions. I tried out their gluten-free bread. It wasn't amazing, but it was edible and had a chewy texture. They also offer many vegan options if you are vegan. I tried their vegan chicken and it was decent but not super flavorful.
google avatar

Maria P.

Yelp
Ordered the #1 to go, it's my first time here. I hated the sandwich, It was too sweet. I just called yet the female that answered the phone, laughed when I asked if I could exchange the sandwich. She said sorry No. Do not recommend eating here. I won't be returning nor ordering them again.

Rylee B.

Yelp
The delivery was fast and efficient!! the sandwich was amazing as usual and neatly packaged/presented. Great vibes!

Dustin H.

Yelp
Was looking for a good Gluten Free spot and this place was recommended for having gluten free bread and the staff being knowledgeable about gluten allergies. The Matt Cain was one of the best sandwich's I have ever had. This place is a must try!
google avatar

Yelp
If you love sandwiches then you will love Ike's. With the huge menu they got something for everyone even us picky eaters
google avatar

AJ B.

Yelp
Whenever I miss home I go somewhere that reminds me of it. So I had to go to Ikes! Bay Area staple here in Austin, so honestly not sure why it doesn't taste exactly the same lol nevertheless it hit the spot. I got the Aaron Nunez my usual it's Turkey, bacon, & all the veggies. I checked in and got a free bag of chips offer, so I had to get the voodoo bag!
google avatar

Jakob W.

Yelp
Never had Ike's loves and sandwich's until recently, I try to come here every other Tuesday def more expensive of a meal I pay up to $18 bucks usually, their sandwich makes a statement and that statement to me is we are worth the money you spend here. It's fast but not fast where you think they put your sandwich in the microwave and put it on your table, they make it write there in front of you, there grandfather sauce they call it or godfather sauce is so yummy. I get the #18 with spicy voodoo chips & their classic root beer.
google avatar

Yelp
Again we walked into an amazing peaceful atmosphere and then Mason greeted us with a friendly welcoming we looked at the menu and then bam here came Micheal I mean a two for one. Great customer service Amazing food. You can't find both at many places now a days! But here you Can! Thanks again gentlemen.
google avatar

Jessy S.

Yelp
So this was our first time trying Ike's ! The look and feel of the restaurant was pretty chill, it was pretty empty so that was good. The menu was alotttt but we decided on one of the favorites. So I love sandwiches and I love when this place used to be which which so I had really high expectations. The sand which was good and so was the bread but it was just wayyyyy too much sauce, at one point I was just eating bread and sauce- which don't get me wrong was good- but I'd def say maybe a little more topping inside and not so much sauce that was there is a good ratio between bread topping & sauce. The service was quick! Id come back and try something different!
google avatar

Tayler O.

Yelp
This place is awesome and deserves more business! Good sandwiches for a reasonable price. If you love subs that are unique and different and have variety, come get Ike's!

Yelp
I really love Ike's. It's hands down my favorite sandwich place right now. My fiancé and I have very different diets and this is one of the few places I know caters to both. The vegan sandwiches are amazing. Out of the times I've been so far, I have yet to find a bad sandwich. And they actually have vegan proteins! When I first heard about them I thought it was just veggies on bread. But nope! There's actual stuff on these sandwiches. From protein that tastes terrific to even having vegan cheese, whatever sauce they add to these is always so good! It's now my fiancé's favorite sandwich place too. The sandwiches are also very filling for us. We both typically will only have one half at a time. For me, it's because that first half was super filling. Even though I just finished one I already want to come back and buy another. Service is always nice here. I have yet to experience bad customer service at any location I've been to. And I love this location because I can sit outside and walk off the calories at nearby shops. I just want to come back and try more.

Deleise B.

Yelp
Great Sandwiches Most of all the kid Noah thats works there is the best Kid ever so polite . Thanks Deleise

Yelp
Solid overall. Here's the review: Environment: University Blvd in Round Rock around the local IKEA. Next to a Chipotle and Razzoo's Cajun Cafe. Plenty of parking. Two ways to enter the building. Inside: Artwork all around. Great appeal with the aesthetics. A few tables around. Food and service: I would consider this a fast food joint but I cannot. Why? Not a drive-thru available. However, this is a typical sandwich joint. Walk inside, go to the counter, choose the item(s) of choice, and wait to pick up. I got the 240 on Dutch bread. I love the few choices for bread and definitely the halal chicken options. Menu: It is pretty much another language. Way too many selections. I get it but I dislike these types of menus when they are saturated. However, this spot is going based off of what's mandated on the corporate level. I would lessen the menu as it gets too overwhelming and wordy for no reason. Experience: Straightforward for me--great food. Big selection so it was overwhelming. I had to ask the girl at the counter what she'd recommend. She did a good job. Value and Pricing: I honestly think it's on the higher side by a few dollars. San Francisco type of pricing in the Round Rock area. This will be taken into consideration for the overall score. Repeat factor: Yes, but only maybe once a week at most. Score: 7.6/10. My justification? One of the better sandwich joints, but the sandwich doesn't scream, "THIS IS AMAZING!" to me. The food is great though. Amazing would be around over a 9, and I didn't get that. The pricing doesn't help much either. This isn't a place where I'd expect the same regulars daily. Overall a good spot with good food.

Yelp
Had lunch couple times with the family. And I must say my family from Hawaii says it's the best!!! Love the big ol busy menu board lol and the service is always great.

Karen S.

Yelp
The sandwiches are good, but they will always cancel my order due to them being busy. I understand this happening occasionally, but it happens all the time! No thanks, not worth the hassle.
google avatar

Valerie G.

Yelp
What can I say but Great service, friendly staff, amazing sandwiches!!! Round Rock Ike's love and sandwiches Rocks !!'
google avatar

Shirley A.

Yelp
Terrible customer service!!! The manager is super rude! Received DaVinci sandwich with one slice of ham, one slice of salami, and one slice of cheese. I had requested no Turkey. Manager stated meats are precut so someone must have forgotten to added extra ham/salami to make up for the Turkey. I told him I can come by to get a corrected sandwich and he said no need to come by I'll refund you and he hung up the phone! No apology or anything.... I called back and he just let the phone ring continuously...so far there's been no refund for my sandwich. I'll never spend my hard earned money at this establishment again...definitely overpriced!

Yelp
We ordered 4 sandwiches from their bizarre 800 item menu that must be downloaded on your device. I guess Ike's Love hasn't heard of the KISS concept. The sandwiches are passed through a conveyer oven like most sandwich shops, and I personally rate them no better than any other chain sandwich shop. But $70 for four average sandwiches? I would have gone to Potbelly's but there weren't any nearby. The sandwiches would have been half the price and just as good. The restaurant is rather disheveled looking as if the workers rarely step out from behind the counter. The whole place is a noisy cacophony of refrigeration compressors and bad music. I finally had to step outside for relief from the noisy din while my California priced sandwiches were being made by two bare handed workers. So this was my first and last experience at Ike's Love.

Mandi A.

Yelp
Love their sandwiches! There is a sandwich option for everyone. The bread is delicious and the service is always friendly. Can normally get two meals out of one sandwich which is an added bonus.

LA C.

Yelp
The customer service from the moment my family and I walked in has been phenomenal. Mason is a pure delight! The definition of customer service. He helped us with our orders and seemed to take pride in his position. That attitude, and good food will keep me coming back!

Devin F.

Yelp
Best sandwiches around! High quality and they are more than filling enough to satisfy that craving.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious sandwiches! Some many to choose from. I got the matt cain, I love roast beef so im a fan of this one. Plus their godfather sauce is delicious compliments the sandwich. For me the star though is their dutch bread. Freshly made and i love the crunch. The service is good although customers should be asked if they have been there before and help navigate through the ordering process. Its a pretty casual place, relaxed and they played good music. This is kore of a take out sandwich place, but what is important is that their food is good.
