Iki Ramen Hollywood - Review - Hollywood - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If you’ve ever eaten at the original Iki Ramen in Koreatown, you know to expect chaotic parking and solid noodle bowls and sushi in a somewhat cramped space. Well, in terms of setting, their new location in Hollywood is a pleasant upgrade. Street parking is a breeze with a bunch of metered spots right out front and the airy, high-ceiling dining room has ample tables overlooking Western Ave. There’s a back-lit bar that’s stocked with sake, shochu, and Japanese beer. As for the ramen? It’s as solid as ever. We particularly love the yuzu shio bowl, made with a light chicken broth laced with citrus zest. They’ve also got a very extensive selection of sashimi, rolls, and seafood donburi that we like even more than their ramen." - Nikko Duren

Ikki Japanese Cuisine & Bar Review - Old City - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Ikki is right down the street from the Liberty Bell, so you can always expect a crowd of tourists and late-night crowds looking to get in a few rolls before they close at 11pm. They have a solid $15 lunch special, which comes with five pieces and a California roll, but expect pieces like spicy salmon and shrimp topped with a peppery paprika sauce for dinner. Their juicy cuts of fish and smoky drizzle will have you daydreaming about them as much as you do about having a chauffeur before heading home after a late night here." - Candis R. McLean

Made the mistake of bringing a date here because all I wanted to eat that night was the sushi instead of her. They welcomed us and sat us down quick - overall service was as fast as possible although it was busy. Then the food came and she started drooling 🤤😋 (not over me sadly). One delight after the other as if it was Chef Ramsey behind the scenes watching our reactions. Cool atmosphere all over with chill music. Only thing I’d say is I asked for nothing spicy but 4/5 rolls that we ordered were spicy; so if I still give this place a 5 stars that tells you how good it was although messing up there. Would come again anytime I’m in the mood for sushi.

From appetizers to sweets, this restaurant well surpassed our expectations! Our family really liked the appetizers, the selection of rolls, especially Iki Premium Roll! And the Ramen: Burnt Garlic Tonkotsu, Sooo Good!!! The food and service quality was truly exceptional, I can’t wait to come back.

10/10 experience, staff is above and beyond! Everything tastes fantastic, highly recommend the salmon burrata and the yuzu lemonade. Krispy rice was perfect! I wanna try the ramen as soon as the weather cools down hehe.

We went here for dinner on our first day in LA. The gyoza was really good. The spicy tonkatsu could use a bit more flavor. It seemed that the spicy took over too much. It was good. Just needed some more umami. Service was very good. Atmosphere was nice.

Google
This place is a fantastic ramen spot! 🍜 IKI Ramen serves a wonderful selection of delicious 🤤 ramen noodles! Definitely get the Spicy 🥵 Chicken 🍗 Ramen (can be modified to be not spicy 🔥)! Staff 👨‍🍳 is super friendly and welcoming, the service is quick ⏲️, the place is beautifully decorated 🛋️, and the ambience 🎶 is great! I wish I knew about this place earlier!

Google
The space is sleek and airy with the high ceilings and clean lines. We ordered the Burnt Garlic Tonkatsu ramen, Pork Bao, and Iki Roll. The ramen had great flavour but it came with thin straight noodles and unfortunately my personal preference is always thicker and chewier noodles. The pork in the bao had a delicious sauce and the bao itself was so light and soft. The Iki roll was loaded with salmon and tuna and also very tasty. The service also really stood out - I appreciated how attentive and friendly the staff were.

Google
I would call this a hidden gem because even though they have “Ramen” in their name, their sushi is imo even better and quite possibly the best I’ve had here in LA. High bar for sure, but I absolutely love their sushi here. The uni scallop grab rolls are to die for!

Lovely tasty Tonkotsu Ramen, tastw very authentic, Chicken Gyosa was crispy . Simple menu but great food, cozy elegant simple restaurant interior, friendly accomodating staff. ❤️

Yelp
Came here for a date after being recommended by a friend. She mentioned that the sushi is alright, but their Uni Mazumen was the star of the show, and she wasn't wrong. Judging by the other reviews, that is definitely the consensus. I will say the noodles from my Mazumen that day were a bit undercooked and it was just a touch too dry for my liking. I think just a bit of moisture would have helped. We were able to do a walk-in on a weekday with no problem, but I could see how this place could get busy. The atmosphere at night is definitely perfect for a date, although it is a bit cramped between some of the seats.

Yelp
I stopped by Iki Ramen and tried their Truffle Butter Ramen along with an Ube Horchata, and I was really impressed. The broth was rich, buttery, and full of deep flavor--definitely something I haven't tasted before. The pork was grilled perfectly, and I'd highly recommend getting an extra egg--it was cooked just right with a creamy yolk that really elevated the dish. The Ube Horchata was smooth, not overly sweet, and had a unique flavor that complemented the ramen surprisingly well. A great pairing! The ambience of the place was clean and modern, with a calm vibe. It's a bit of an easy spot to miss if you're driving by, but there is garage parking available, which makes it convenient once you know where to look. Overall, it was a great experience. Not quite a five-star just because the flavors are bold and may not be for everyone, but for me, it was a solid, memorable meal. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
This institution offers really high-quality sushi rolls, which are worthy of the attention of all lovers of Japanese cuisine. Extremely fresh fish - especially impressed by the toro with caviar and salmon with truffle Masters are ready to adapt the roles to your wishes.Nice bonus in the form of gift rolls from the chef.Fast service despite limited space What to consider: Very compact institution - there are not enough places Portions may seem small for this price Parking only street The taste of rolls at a height is especially worth noting the unique combination of salmon with a truffle note. While the prices do reflect the quality of the ingredients, some may find the portions insufficient. A great option for true connoisseurs of sushi, if you are not afraid of tight space.

Yelp
A pretty good find in the sea of endless decent ramen options in LA. I typically go for the classic tonkotsu, which is what I went with here. The broth and meat had nice flavor without being too creamy, salty, or fatty - which are my top issues with some other places. The noodles here were on the thinner side, giving them a more al dente feel, which I liked. Bonus points for the corn, small detail but I love when ramen comes with corn. The portion was also spot on - not giant, but left me satisfied. The staff were very friendly and fairly attentive while we were here. It felt pretty intimate and cozy inside, while still seeming clean and orderly.

Yelp
For appetizers, I highly recommend the Ebi Katsu Bao (fried shrimp) and the Soft Shell Crab Bao--both are absolute standouts! The shoyu ramen was incredible--its broth had a depth of flavor that was truly out of this world. I'm talking interstellar levels of deliciousness. I honestly can't wait to come back and have it again. The interior design is stunning. The tall ceilings give it a modern, open feel, reminiscent of an urban gem you'd stumble upon in NYC or Chicago. To be honest, it's probably one of the best atmospheres I've experienced at a ramen spot in LA. Oh, and parking? They've got you covered with one-hour validation in the building--a much-appreciated bonus!

Yelp
My friends were visiting LA from out of town and were craving ramen, so we decided to give this place a try. First thing I noticed is that the restaurant is very bright and cozy thanks to the huge glass windows and wooden interior. The staff were friendly and checked on us often to make sure we were doing alright with everything. I got the Vegan Spicy Miso Ramen, which was much spicier than I expected. I would opt to get it less spicy or not spicy next time. Though I was dying a bit from the spice, everything else about the ramen was good. Chewy noodle texture, fresh veggies and tofu, and the dumplings as a vegan substitute to the usual pork topping was a nice touch. It was a little pricey for what it is, but it's Hollywood and ramen, so nothing unusual. We had a great dinner and I would definitely come back again and get something not spicy :)

Yelp
Salmon and burrata is not a combo I would have ever thought of but it surprisingly works very well!! This dish has a yuzu sauce I believe which makes this dish so refreshing! Really enjoyed it. The premium grab hand rolls were good. Pretty pricey as you get 4 prices for $48 but it was a nice treat for a splurge. The seaweed comes on the side so you get to assemble as you eat thus avoiding the seaweed getting soggy. I ordered delivery so I can't speak to the ambiance inside but my order was promptly delivered with care.

Yelp
New things we tried this time around: - Yuzu ramen: you can taste the yuzu but it wasn't overpowering. A good ramen, but the noodles were the star. It was perfectly al dente the first couple of bites. It did soften up by the end of the meal but that's expected. - The toro roll: this was good too, not quite as buttery as I expected the toro to be, but a solid roll. - We got the mentaiko mazemen and the shio ice cream again, which are must-dos if you come here. We also got a pint to go, and they package the balls on top separately FYI.

Yelp
My friends and I love this place! We visited on a Saturday night for a reservation for 9 people. The staff was friendly and really accommodating with our party. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but it was hard to find. The turn into the parking garage (its apart of a hotel) is very small so be careful! You also need to pay for parking at the front desk, I think it was around $4 for 2 hours. It's in a good location to go walking and bar hopping though. We ordered the mentaiko mazemen and kaisen don. Both dishes were soooo good, the mazemen was warm and comforting and wasn't overwhelming with truffle. The kaisen don was very fresh and had a good selection of fish, especially for the price. We were also celebrating a birthday and they gave us a complimentary sesame mousse and yuzu ice cream. Both very fresh and unique. Overall we loved this spot for an elevated dining experience. It's very clean and minimalist, a good date night. I will be returning!

Yelp
Was craving ramen and found this place on Yelp. Definitely worth a try! The service was top tier. I got the spicy tonkotsu, and some sushi. Both were delicious. The environment was clean and relaxing. Easily the best ramen in Hollywood. Can't wait to come back !

Yelp
we had a great experience dining at iki ramen! absolutely love the decor of this place, very chic with relatively easy street parking. service was great, my friend had crutches and they were very accommodating to make sure she was comfortable! the tofu sesame bao was delicious! the bao had the perfect fluffiness, and it matched perfectly with the crispy fried tofu. the marinade itself had a nice kick to it and was overall very flavorful! the vegan spicy miso ramen was amazing, the broth had a nice depth to it and the chili paste they have is phenomenal! i couldn't get enough. i got a seasoned egg with it and i'm so glad i did, it was everything you want in a ramen egg. noodles were also cooked nicely, overall a very solid vegan ramen. i would love to come back!

Yelp
Amazing! Fell in love with this ramen when I dined here with my friends! They had been here before so they recommended the burn garlic ramen and it definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is so pretty and the staff was so kind, made you feel welcomed! We were a medium sized party and they accommodated us nicely and overall the vibe was just perfect. I definitely want to be back for more!

Yelp
A comfortable spot on Sunset Blvd. Nicely, decorated, sleek and modern. I ordered a Salmon Sushi and the Yuzu Shio Ramen, which was a server recommendation. The broth is chicken based, which is lighter than Pork and Miso based broths. It was lighter, but I found it, to be, not as flavorful as other pork or miso based ramens.. The noodles were fine, as was the egg. The quality overall was nice. The Salmon Sushi was good, and very reasonably priced at $5.00. Most of the Ramen dishes are around $20. The service was friendly and expedient, and there are no extra fees added to the bill. Next time I will try my go-to, Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen.

Yelp
Under Yelp recommendation, ordered the Burnt Garlic Tonkatsu, standard. The star of the show during my visit was actually the Uni Mazemen. Although no uni chunks, the uni cream was excellent. Tremendous richness of uni flavor paired with perfectly al dente noodles. Unagi bao had great flavor. The perfectly ripe avocado and the light sweetness of the bao was very complementary. Black cod hand roll was also fantastic. The warmness of the fish made the whole hand roll feel so comforting and homey. Lastly, only place I've ever seen with Hitachino on draft. Overall, decent spot for a quick bite.

Yelp
I have been to Iki Ramen at least 6 times and had their Omakase. It is always over the top delicious. The chef/owner, Jeffrey always comes to the table and is very nice and appreciative. The staff is very polite, warm, and professional. The price is more than fair for the courses you receive. Thank you Jeffry for always making sure that whenever their is a birthday you make that person feel special.

Yelp
Small bowl high price. Don't suggest to try 5A beef noodle. Parking in the street turn corner.

Yelp
Came here for the Ramen and left very satisfied. The ambiance is a little more upscale than your typical Ramen joint but the food is definitely elevated to match. Both the regular Tonkatsu and the black garlic oil Tonkatsu were very good. Savory broth with plenty of Chashu and delicious noodles. The portion size was just right. The soft shell crab Bao is a must have. It was quick fried in a light dusting of flour. Paired with the soft bun and savory sauce it was a big hit. Service was super friendly and fast. Will be back to try some additional dishes.

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch to try the hand rolls we heard so much about. They did not disappoint! We ordered the blossom roll, seaweed salad, burnt garlic tonkotsu ramen and the premium hand rolls. Absolutely everything was delicious. I was blown away by how unique the blossom roll was. I haven't had a roll quite like it before! And it is also beautiful! The burnt garlic ramen was good as well, the noodles were thin and cooked perfectly and the broth was rich and tasty. My favorite was of course the hand rolls. There were four variations: salmon with truffle, wagyu, scallop with uni and toro. Every last one was perfection but my favorited were the wagyu and the salmon with truffle. Our sever was very nice and he gave us great recommendations that helped us decide what to order. We will be back the next time we are in LA!

Yelp
Went for a sake event and also had some food. Service is great staff is very friendly and attentive, i really loved the staff and service. 10/10 Takoyaki was great! Fish is very fresh and portions and well as well. The sake selection is absolutely amazing such a hidden gem barely visible from the street! I def will be back and highly recommend for anyone to go and enjoy a bottle of sake with great snacky food! Thank you Iki ramen see you soon!!

Yelp
lol i usually do not frequent the la area as much anymore, but this was in my bookmarks for so long and i finally had the chance ~ super aesthetically pleasing interior design and good service. we ordered the burnt garlic ramen, truffle ramen, and the iki sushi! all around good vibes and yommy food! no wait on a sunday evening

Yelp
I loved my experience at Iki rame! Everyone here is so kind and the service is excellent! The vibes and environment of this place is so comforting and warm. The food is so amazing I can't even pick a favorite. The crispy tuna rice was amazing and I loved the iki roll! Can't wait to try everything else !

Yelp
This place is TOP TIer. Presentation, freshness, taste, service and ambiance. I am always especially impressed with service and attention to detail. Our server today was glorious and all meals are brought out strategically and timed! Consistently delicious, and best sushi in California hands down.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic food & service!! We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed watching the sushi chef, Diky, very carefully and meticulously make each roll like a piece of artwork. Diky even offered us matcha crème brûlée! It was delish. Can't wait to come back next time I'm in Hollywood area!

Yelp
Parking: there are metered street parking in front and at the side of the restaurant. There is also one hour free parking inside the building. Check my photos for how it looks to get inside When walking in, you would need to go inside a building and then on the left should be the restaurant. We didn't make reservations on a Saturday lunch time and luckily got sat. There was plenty of seating from outside and inside the restaurant My family and I ordered the (2) kaisen don and (1) mentaiko mazemen. The wasabi on the kaisen don was fresh and paired perfectly for an extra spice on the fish. It was delicious and even had cooked lobster in it. I don't see that often. As for the mentaiko mazemen, the flavor was out of this world delicious. Everyone in my party liked it a lot. The only thing was the noodles felt a little bit uncooked as they were on the harder side. And I've had mazemen before, but this was chewy chewy. Anyways, I'd come back here again
google avatar

Yelp
I was torn between ordering ramen or a bunch of sushi. So I ordered a blossom roll and let my opinion of that decide! I wasn't too impressed, in my opinion it wasn't anything special. The yuzu kosho was my favorite part of the roll. So I went with the burnt garlic tonkotsu. Definitely a very RICH, creamy broth. The pork chasu melted into my noodles. My bf tried the Wagyu ramen and he said it was a 7.8. After adding two sides of chilli and a side of burnt garlic sauce he says it went to a 9.4. (Tough critic) I couldn't decide on which ice cream to try so I tried both. The shio koji was definitely interesting. It's made of fermented toasted rice I think the server said? The yuzu ice cream felt more like a sorbet. Both okay. The restaurant is bright and open and beautiful. Our server was very sweet and as busy as she was, she was very attentive and everything came out quickly.
google avatar

Rafael B.

Yelp
Coming from the original location I had high expectations for this new spot! My family and I ordered various flavors of the tonkotsu and ultimately I felt the garlic was the best. The interior is so aesthetically pleasing it's hard not to appreciate its simple art. The service was friendly and quick. Parking is limited to street but we came at lunch on a Friday with no issue so if you're going for a weekend meal then expect a small walk. The ramen was good but it didn't hit that spot I was hoping it would. All in all it was a good meal but for the price there are better options. We tried the yellowtail handrolls and while tasty they are quite small for the cheapest option ($10) it's worth a try if you're curious but if you're looking for top tier flavor then imo this falls short.

Yelp
Friend and I got sushi and ramen for dinner. The sushi was delicious, and the ramen a perfect size so we could also enjoy apps without feeling stuffed. The broth was great. Beautiful restaurant with tall windows to see outside and the staff were friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
What a spot! There were 2 famous people there, Doug Sills from Broadway/The Gilded Era on MAX and Justin Long from Drag me to Hell and Alvin and the Chipmunks but they were both at me table. LOL. The food was INCREDIBLE. Service amazing/fast and most importantly, WITH A BIG SMILE. Glass walls lets you look out on Sunset Blvd without Street Noise. We sat inside (see photo) because it was cold and we all live in Los Angeles, so if it's below 60 degrees, we're like: 'Inside please.' LOL. Great spot. High recommend.
google avatar

Aurie J.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing food and service! The toro is some of the best I've ever had! I was blown away from the freshness of the sushi! The ramen was lovely. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe as well. I absolutely recommend Iki Ramen!

Yelp
Was in the area for a conference so we stumbled upon this for dinner. Came around 6pm on a Monday and the restaurant was pretty packed. The restaurant was nice enough to accommodate our large table. Food recommendation: - burnt garlic ramen (there were a looot of noodles and could use some salt and spice) overall good flavor - uni mazemen was delicious! Very creamy
google avatar

Mari B.

Yelp
Had a great lunch here and going again today! Very nice ambience. Open bright Clean fresh Great menu Vegan options Attentive service Delicious food Street parking (easy) I'll be back!!

Yelp
I've been dreaming about this dinner since I've had it, this may be the best ramen I've had in LA. The baos were delicious, the sake complimented everything so well. The chef even brought us each complimentary salmon burrata which was the perfect last bite we needed to just put us over. The service was great, and the restaurant is very clean and beautiful. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Beau H.

Yelp
We live footsteps from this great spot and so happy to call it my local upscale sushi option. Their signature roll is the best - Iki Roll is a must have as its part cold and warm - order that first then design all your other rolls around this one - the wine section is nice and feel there should be one more or two more red wine options as glass pours. A great idea for us would be the implimentation of a solid Happy Hour as one does not seem to be advertised. Other than that, we love your food - its high quality and cannot wait to frequent IKI Ramen as a bi-monthly sushi option.
google avatar

Yelp
The yellow-tail ceviche is so good it melts in your mouth. The flavor it's OUT of the world!! Hamachi Carpaccio flavor is to die for, it's 100% the best in town from A to Z.. Great location, owner chef hands on!! Award winning !! Great price and the best in town, could be in Beverly Hills triple the price, it's that amazing!! TRUST me this is the spot been coming for years!!! When you leave everyone says bye and thank you!!
google avatar

Yelp
Tried Iki Ramen this past weekend and loved it! I ordered the iki sushi and the uni mazemen, which were both incredibly delicious. The mazemen was so creamy and flavorful, and it was surprisingly not too expensive. My friend and partner both ordered ramen, which had yummy broths though were a little smaller in portion than we expected. The place looks very chic and modern, and they offer 1 hour free parking validation.

Yelp
My bf and I came across Iki Ramen on Yelp looking for mentaiko udon (they have mentaiko mazemen!!) but after hearing about their Monday-only omakase, we ended up going with that instead (we both have a terrible weakness to omakase ;u;). So this review is just for that, not their ramen. We walked in on a weekday evening and were seated immediately. From what it seems, both this and their Koreatown locations tend to be extremely popular-- very glad we were able to find a table tonight. Relatively empty for Monday. The setting is modern and sleek, servers are almost TOO attentive (dishes are taken away within SECONDS of being empty, water is never left more than an inch empty)... Gave me a little anxiety that they were watching so closely LOL (maybe this is the pace they're used to for a full house). For omakase, the portions are BIG...! I'm a little taken aback how large each were, and the sheer amount (there were 11 dishes total, 2 extra). You'll easily eat your fill. We had: - ANKIMO (complimentary) - SEA BREAM - UNAGI BAO - ZUKE TORO - MISO GLAZED BLACK COD - SQUID INK MAZEMEN - SPANISH MACKEREL / HALIBUT / RED SNAPPER / GOLDEN EYE SNAPPER - SALMON / SCALLOP / TORO / UNI - MISO SOUP - BLUE CRAB HAND ROLL (complimentary) - RICE CRACKER SALTED CARAMEL ICE CREAM SANDWICH This night's set was heavier on shiso and yuzu, so a good fit if you're partial to those flavors. The only thing we didn't like is the miso, we both found it too salty and had a strong cooking wine flavor. Otherwise amazing fish & impactful flavors. My favorite would have to be the squid ink mazemen (fantastic w/the fresh black truffle~~), while my bf loved the black cod.

Yelp
With a calm, Japandi interior and a twist on the classics, this is a casually upscale Japanese restaurant. Total was $90 for apps, entrees, and dessert for three and all of them were outstanding. For someone who doesn't like wasabi, it was clear this is a true wasabi and was paired with a yuzu sauce since it was actually delicious and added to rather than overpowered the yellowtail. The gyozas were crispy and quite umami. The spicy tonkatsu packs a punch even though the broth barely turned red and I could smell the truffle butter before it even hit the table. The soft boiled egg was perfect too! The shio koji ice cream was a surprising hit. You can't taste the saltiness, but it gave the caramel-y notes a lot of depth and the topping lended a crispy texture. It came in a small bowl that was shockingly generous given its size. Summary: every dish was worth its penny and I would recommend trying the ice cream :) I have not found this flavor anywhere in LA or OC!

Yelp
Would give a 3.5 if possible. The food is good and I would consider the ramen above average. I had the garlic ramen and the broth was very enjoyable. It is extremely rich and creamy with an abundance of garlic flavor. However the noodles were pretty soggy and clumped together a lot. Portions are pretty small. The chashu pork was on the sweet side. We received a seared fish appetizer thing which was very good. Honestly I wonder if the priority here is more on the sushi than the ramen. Most customers seemed to order sushi or sashimi bowls. The ambience is great with lots of natural light and high ceilings. Perfect for a weekend lunch. We made a reservation, though there didn't seem to be a long wait for walk-ins. Also free parking in the back with validation! Unfortunately, they let pets into the restaurant so we had to move tables to avoid getting pet hair and dander in our food. It is quite selfish of people to bring their pets inside an indoor restaurant. Patio, whatever, but indoors? Isn't this an upscale restaurant?? I guess it is in the heart of Hollywood so they must accommodate people who act like little divas.

Yelp
What a find!!! We have been searching for a really great ramen spot, and we definitely found it at Iki Ramen! Their ramen is sooooo good.... I love the chicken spicy miso ramen, as well as the shoyu ramen - amazing broths, tender meat, and the perfect noodles ;) The spicy chicken miso ramen is amazing as the broth is a bit lighter, but yet it has so much flavor, and the shoyu ramen's pork and chicken broth work so well together! Their staff are some of the most attentive and friendly people you will ever meet, and I always say to my wife that the culture always stems from the top down - great and caring owners attract great and caring staff, and clearly Iki Ramen is doing something very right! Did I mention how beautiful the restaurant itself is as well? Such a cute, bright and welcoming space with both inside and outdoor tables! Add in the fact that they have awesome sushi, the best crispy rice I've ever had, amazing bao buns, and delicious saki, this is a family favorite across the board. I would HIGHLY recommend Iki Ramen to anyone and know for certain that they would have an incredible experience!

Yelp
Food came out super quickly, and the mentaiko mazemen was fantastic- especially the ikura on top. The tuna crispy rice was good and not too dense or saucy. The burnt garlic tonkotsu ramen was a bit of a miss for me. I've had this dish at a lot of ramen restaurants and felt like the broth lacked some flavor. The char siu pork on top was great, but rest of the ramen toppings (especially the egg) weren't anything special. Less enjoyable: the restaurant was really loud. People weren't talking that loudly, I think the space is just a bit echoey and bounces noise around. Vibes felt kind of similar to Sugarfish. We had to swat a few mosquitoes away from our food throughout the meal and it started to gross me out. Would definitely consider coming back for the mazemen and trying more sushi or appetizers.

Yelp
Really glad I tried this place out! Came here on Martin Luther king Jr. day and luckily there was happy hour! Their sushi was so delicious. Their salmon was melt in your mouth and yellowtail with yuzu was yummy. We also got their toro roll that came with 6 pieces. I ate it so quick I forgot to take a pic with all 6 pieces. It was very tasty and I loved the yuzu they added. The fish is super fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the salmon hand roll and it honestly tasted better than Kazunori! I would say the sushi is better than their ramen. The burnt garlic was very light in flavor. The tonkatsu pork pieces were really tasty and thinly sliced so the meat melted in your mouth. The egg was also super delicious. I do with it was a tad bit saltier? We also ordered the green tea which was such a great addition. Really happy with the food here and it's a very cute vibe inside with super friendly staff! This is really great ramen and sushi spot! Def check it out if you're looking for a nice meal out!

Yelp
Love the burnt garlic tonkotsu at the ktown location (my #1 ramen spot in LA) so much I had to come here for the mentaiko mazemen. It was al dente and creamy with hints of seaweed - 9/10. A mosquito flew into my food though. This location is beautiful and minimal inside. Scallop nigiri was buttery and the yuzu chicken shio ramen is light & refreshing. Honestly haven't had a dish that I disliked here.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on Valentine's Day for a quick bite before going out dancing. And we're shocked we could get a table. Anytime I've visited their koreatown location on Western there is usually a wait. But we were in and out in less than an hour, and enjoyed every minute! The dining room is surrounded in glass and the lighting was bright and welcoming. Our server was kind and informative. She helped us decide on the best sake based on my preference for cloudier less refined sakes. This was more than enough food, every bite was a delight and the food was so beautiful I remembered to take a pic before we devoured it all!

Yelp
I thought I had gone to the og location in Koreatown. Sure enough, this is the 2nd location in Hollywood for Iki. The a5 wagyu ramen was great! Pricey but I think fine for what it was. At around $30 for a couple of thin slices of wagyu, I have no other a5 wagyu ramen to compare to. So for now, this is the standard. They do have a lot of other ramen options as ramen is in their name. But surprisingly, I think their sushi might be even better! Same with the other location, the sushi was so delicious and fresh. Again, a bit pricey, but they really do deliver. They even gave us complimentary 2 seared toro nigiri which melted in our mouths. Yummmm. The toro roll was so good! So succulent the bluefin tuna belly tartare was, and the real kizami wasabi worked so well on each bite. The black sesame custard dessert was only $6 but after the first few bites which seemed pretty sweet, you get used to it and keep wanting to eat more! It was yummy! Great service eating at the bar area. You get to see them a bit, making sushi. Parking wasn't hard, we found one easily on the street. I think we'll be back!

Yelp
After getting truffle ramen at Momofuku in Vegas recently, I was on the hunt for a good truffle ramen in LA and stumbled upon Iki Ramen on Google. We made reservations for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant had just opened for lunch when we got there, so we sat down right away. Between the two of us, me & my bf, we ordered three ramens. Ironically, we ended up not getting the truffle ramen, the thing the led us here in the first place. We ordered: - yuzu shio ramen - burnt garlic tonkatsu ramen - mentaiko mazemen - shrimp katsu bao - soft shell crab bao The mentaiko mazemen was my favorite dish of the meal, it tasted like a mentaiko carbanara, creamy and full of flavor. Baos were a good appetizer, the soft shell crab one was excellent. Overall, has a great meal and experience here. Will be back! There's a parking garage nearby but we ended up finding street parking, so parked on the street.

Yelp
The space is very modern with lots of open space and natural lighting. The food is $5-10 more expensive than many other ramen restaurants but you can see the higher price in the ingredient choice like wagyu beef and truffle butter. I ordered the Truffle Butter Tonkotsu and it was splendid. The truffle richness shines through the broth without being too overpowering. We also had the takoyaki which had a nice, crispy exterior.

Yelp
Came on a Friday night with a group of 6! We made reservations ahead of time. Establishment is small but the interior is very beautiful. We ordered the edamame and gyoza to share. Gyoza was yummy! I got myself a Pork Bao, and it was INCREDIBLE. It's definitely one of the best I've had. For my entree, I got the Yuzu Shio Ramen. It was good but didn't excite me. Portion size was decent. Definitely can get cheaper and better ramen elsewhere. It was definitely a good experience with nice ambience for a more upscale ramen restaurant. Lots of celebrities have visited! Would likely not revisit personally. Parking: They have validated parking garage. Most of us were lucky enough to find free street parking nearby

Yelp
We came in here for dinner wanting something warm since it's getting colder outside. We didn't know where to park besides on the street, not sure if they have a parking garage somewhere but definitely make sure you read the street signs there's 2 signs but we only saw 1, so to sum that up we ended up getting a ticket. The inside of the restaurant is a chill, dim lighted setting, relaxing to eat alone or with friends! Our servers were both attentive to us throughout our meal. The ramen at first looked like it was small portions from the bowl it came in , but was actually filing, flavorful. We also ordered Gyoza and a Kakuni Bao, the ramen we had was Tonkotsu Ramen and Burnt Garlic Tonkotsu, everything was delicious.

Yelp
Quality of sushi is good. Drinks were good (suju base). The atmosphere was inviting. Would return when craving sushi and ramen. Not too cheap but also prices affordable for the quantity .
