Ikos Dassia

Our stay at IKOS in May this year was a mixed experience, pleasant in parts but ultimately disappointing, and not at the standard we expected.||We arrived to a warm welcome, but things quickly went downhill once we saw our room. Although we had booked a land-view room, the view was actually of the extremely busy main road behind the hotel, with constant traffic noise. After raising this with the staff, we were moved to a sea-view room the following day. We were prepared to pay for the upgrade, but it was offered as a goodwill gesture, which we appreciated.||Food quality was excellent throughout the stay, but the drinks were questionable. I’m not convinced the spirits were branded, as they seemed noticeably weaker compared to the same drinks we’d order back home.||Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, though some were clearly new and still training, which we didn’t mind.||A more serious concern was the safety of the Tesla cars used for day excursions. The first car provided had tyres worn down to the canvas with visible splits, which was extremely worrying, especially with our 3-year-old daughter travelling with us. After raising this, the car was swapped, but the replacement still wasn’t in great condition, but just about acceptable.||Later in the holiday, we received a text (From the Hotel Manager Peter) saying we would be refunded €400 for the inconvenience. However, we then received another message saying the text had been sent to us by mistake and no refund would be issued. Instead, they offered €200 worth of spa treatments at Dassia, but only for a future stay. This felt poorly handled.||Overall, while our stay was acceptable in parts, it fell well short of the quality and consistency IKOS advertises. We weren’t alone in this view. Several other couples we spoke to felt the same. We had hoped IKOS would become our go-to all-inclusive resort for years to come, but we may now look at other companies for next year instead.

Our second visit to IKOS and first to Dassia. Quite a change from our experience the previous year. It seemed that every drinks order during the day was incorrect, frequently sending double the amount of one drink and then other drinks completely missing. It got so difficult towards the end that we just gave up when the wrong order was delivered. Service was very slow, some evening meals taking up to 3 hours, which means we missed the show at the theatre most nights. Unfortunately on the last day one of our party was given the wrong food (allergy) and consequently were very unwell. We went to reception in the early hours and left a note for the food manager to contact us. They met with us and the chef. He was adamant that the food was OK, and the error was that of our child who must have sneakily eaten something they shouldn't have. The tone was very accusatory. The joy of a holiday to us is knowing that those with allergies can safely eat. Unfortunately, this was not the case.||In the interest of balance I waited to post this review as we also already had a trip to Aria booked (October 2025) before this experience. We had no issues at Aria.

We went to Ikos Dassia in summer 2025 and the memories of our stay are very special and so, we have re-booked for this May as such a wonderful place. I must give full credit to the whole team’s friendly approach, professionalism and attention to detail, service is exceptional as are all the different restaurants. ||A few individuals deserve a special mention. ||Mileno - sea lobby bar |Georgia / Andreas on the beach |Christos / Valentin - sea pool bar |Eric & Thanosis - managers|Dimitri - flavours ||The only tiny negative was that the nightclub was never open but this obviously has not stopped us re-booking.

This was my first holiday since lockdown and my first time solo travelling with a small child, so I had high hopes having booked a premium hotel. I’ll start with the negatives. I booked a 5-night stay, but unfortunately my sleep was repeatedly disturbed due to issues with the rooms. We arrived late in the evening, and despite having discussed my requirements with the hotel beforehand, I was placed on the 4th floor with a balcony and a room where the AC wasn’t working. I was disappointed, but the next day the team did move us to a ground-floor room. However, the AC in this room was also faulty and rattled even when turned off. Sadly, I had three nights of poor sleep, which affected the overall experience. Communication between reception and maintenance was unclear, and it took some chasing to get updates. Management did eventually speak with me directly, apologised, and provided a partial refund, which I appreciated. Despite these issues, I would still recommend Ikos Dassia. The staff, overall, were kind, attentive, and some were genuinely helpful. Argiro, my food concierge, was especially wonderful—she arranged our restaurant bookings and ensured I had access to halal food. The chefs often prepared fresh meals for us on arrival, which made a huge difference. We travelled at a quieter time, and the Heroes Club was an absolute highlight. Eirini and her team were beyond amazing. they prepared fun activities for the children and were loving and caring towards the children. They cared for my child with so much warmth that I was able to have a breather—and even manage the room change—without too much worry. The childcare staff were the true heroines of our stay. There were many other staff who made our stay better. Maria from the beach bar helped us navigate around the resort when we were lost and Emma, who never walked past a guest without a smile. The spa manager was also very kind even though I wasnt able to have the niche treatment that I was interested in. I hope management considers implementing a 5-day working week for staff, as they work incredibly hard and deserve time to rest and see their families. The facilities otherwise were everything you’d expect from a premium resort. The splash park was a hit, and I booked a swimming lesson for my child, which they loved. Kids disco when weather allowed was a fun activity to do early evening. The setting itself is breath taking—you’re right on the beach, overlooking the stunning Ionian Sea. Overall, while our visit wasn’t perfect, it had many memorable highlights thanks to the staff and the beautiful surroundings. With better room maintenance and communication, this would have been a flawless stay.

We have just returned from another amazing stay at Ikos Dassia. We just wanted to mention some special individuals who went above and beyond to make our stay so wonderful:||Pantelis Mokkas - We met Pantelis last year in Kerkaya, still our favourite Dassia restaurant. He is a credit to you. He went above and beyond through out our stay to make things perfect. He remembered we loved lamb and also created the most amazing deserts and pancakes for our daughter who was enjoying her first Ikos experience. This guy deserves real recognition and is a credit to your brand. |Zoe assistant manager Kerkyra - we were so pleased to see that she had been promoted. She is a great girl. We can’t wait to see her again in kissamos next year. |Christina Souplinos - she was so helpful arranging all our meals and then again on the concierge. |Kira – This young lady is outstanding in her field. She went out of her way to make sure we were happy with our room, and our general stay. Her smile lights up any room and again another credit to you and the hotel. She will missed at Dassia but we will certainly visit her again at Odisua where I know she will shine brightly at next. |In the Ouzo restaurant Eugenia is a wonderful lady who had the wine ready on |Syed and Claude - around the sky pool every day they smiled and were so helpful. Again nothing was too much and they looked after us so well.|Daiana– around the sky pool was lovejg. My husband loved how she remembered his 11 beer every day!!|Jacqueline - duty manager - she checked in on us regularly. What a lovely lady she is and so as always on hand if we needed anything. |Vladimiros iseris - we have known him now for 5 years and we are pleased to see him doing so well within in the brand. We didn’t get to see to much of him this year but he was always around making sure we were ok. |Argino - Again always popped up to see how we were. So friendly and helpful. |To finish off a special little mention to Dora Bit in Odisia. We stayed at Odisia 2 years and we always pop back and see her. She is fantastic and arranged some beautiful flowers for us to say thank you for out customer. We were so shocked at this kind gesture and just a wonderful surprise to come in to.||You have some fantastic staff members who really do deserve so much praise.||We can’t wait ti return this hotel is so special to us!

This was our third visit this year and our 15th IKOS Holiday. It only gets better and better. Massive thanks to all the staff who make us keep coming back. All the staff work extremely hard to make things run smoothly and the feeling that they really care about the guest experience is invaluable. Katerina ( the hotel manager) really made our stay extra special and especially on my birthday. Pinelopi and Fotini running the Sky adults/pool bar you were both very busy but always made time for us and thank you for the cocktails. Nena in Provence - thank you for all you dedication and hard work and especially the cake on my birthday. 😍||The grill house staff George, Tasos and Beatriz thank you for the beautiful wine selections along with the best steaks ever.||Pantells, Zoe and Elpida what a fantastic job you do in Kerkyra is is such a beautiful place to spend a long leisurely lunch. Rezarta and Alex and all the staff there thank you all so much. ||George,George,George and Stella in Anya, Kerkyra and Enocota thank you for looking after us so well. We are going to introduce you to our own George next year ( as we now have a grandson called George - it’s a popular name not only in Greece!) ||It was lovely seeing Argiro again, we wish you well in your new adventures and hopefully will see you one day soon. ||It was great to come back to see all the wonderful staff and I hope I haven’t missed anyone out but all the staff are amazing. It’s been a few months since we returned home, but the memories of our stay at Ikos Dassia are still very fresh — and very special. As a family with now adult children, we truly value holidays that allow us to make lasting memories together, and our visit to celebrate the 10th anniversary of our first IKOS holiday could not have been more perfect.||From the very top down, the genuine care and concern shown for guests’ wellbeing was clear in every interaction. Despite the resort operating at full capacity, the hotel maintained its calm, oasis-like atmosphere throughout our stay — a real credit to the team’s professionalism and attention to detail.||We originally booked a last-minute promo room, and were delighted to be upgraded to Deluxe partway through our visit. This gave us the unique opportunity to compare the two levels and truly appreciate the additional value and refinement offered within the Deluxe experience. Kira who arranged the upgrade even came to find us personally to explain the process — a wonderful gesture that typifies the thoughtfulness of the team.||A few individuals deserve particular mention. Aleksandra at Flavours, who looked after the egg station each morning, was a delight — personable and a character always ensuring guests started the day with a smile. And Fatimi at the Adults-Only Sky Pool provided exceptional service.||Having had a somewhat disappointing experience at Odisia in 2023, our visit to Dassia has fully restored our faith in the Ikos brand. It really highlights the additional value and seamless quality found in the more established resorts, where everything runs with such harmony and maturity.liday.||Dassia is our new favourite and we'll hopefully be back next year!

This hotel is one of a kind, stunning modern and unique all the staff are so friendly and welcoming with cooled towels, the rooms are clean and can’t hear any neighbours but be warned the floors once mopped are like an ice rink , the location is in a lovely place with stunning views of the ocean. The food is on another level it has lots of flavour and you can never go back to regular food. The pools are nice and clean with toilets located nearby. The wildlife is stunning from geckos to lizards there’s always a different animal in any direction of the outdoors. The golf buggy’s are very handy from going from the sky building to the sea building if your in a hurry. The complimentary Teslas are a bonus if you are going on a day out to the water park or round town. We loved snorkelling and going on the paddle boards. The only problem we had was with the waiter Theodora’s Bay who wasn’t present to me and a couple other members of the family he would constantly ignore us and not help us with anything. This was a great holiday and will definitely be returning.
