I tried the beef doner/shawarma here and was extremely disappointed. For the price, the portion was very small—basically just some pita with a little meat inside. The shawarma itself wasn’t tasty at all and nowhere near what I expected. For such a tiny sandwich, the price felt way too high, making the experience really poor value. Overall, I think this place is a hit-or-miss, and for me it was definitely a miss. Honestly, I would not come back again. It also makes me wonder about the authenticity of many of the glowing reviews, because my experience didn’t match them at all.

The food was alright nothing that stood out. Got a mixed wrap (chicken and beef). It normally comes with 4oz of cooked meat. I asked for an extra 2oz. The one wrap came out to be $19 without tip. Would say value is not good imo.

As someone who has tried a lot of Turkish food, I can confidently say Ikram Grill is one of the best! The food here is consistently high-quality and full of authentic flavors. This place is always busy, and it’s no surprise given the amazing food. Even with the crowd, the service was efficient, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Make sure to try their simit – it’s incredibly tasty, fresh, and a true highlight of the meal. 5 out of 5 – highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Turkish flavors!

Chicken or beef shawarma wrap or on bread are all the options anyone would need. Big tasty portion n well priced

Got the Beef ikram special (thick fries), beef donor plate (Shawarma) delicious, cheese borek (I think) & pistachio & walnut baklava. Everything tasted good, the Beef Dòner plate was so good, the flavors of the sauces were delicious! The Beef Ikram special was good too but it was heavy on red bellpepper? flavor that I don't like (my friend said it was pretty spicy for her). The cheese borek was fun to eat, lots of layers (could've used more salt though). The baklava was ok, made well but not as sweet as expected. It pretty tiny place with less than 10 tables, no outside seating & parking in the small Plaza. Staff was ok, not very welcoming but luckily the food was good.

Ordered the Chicken Doner Plate and wow this was huge. Tons of veggies and rice. 4-6 oz of meat serving which is the standard in most places. Regarding flavor it’s really good and different from what I have tried before in other Mediterranean restaurants. This makes it unique I must say. Next time I’ll try the mix plate. Hummus didn’t like it and neither didn’t realize that they put a lot of mayo on top of the chicken. My fault because they asked me before serving it but I did not hear or didn’t understand thinking it was a sort of garlic yogurt or something. The sandwiches look amazing which is something that I am also looking forward to try as well. In general this is a great restaurant!!! Sweets look amazing too.

Flavor flavor flavor so bomb. I think everything is made in house. They have like 200 different types of baklava. Hahaha. I think it's 6 or 8 but they also have a rice pudding that's really Good. Come to think of it. I've never been let down on anything I've eaten at this place. I believe it's family owned and operated. I live an hour and a half away every time I'm in the area. This is my go-to spot

Honestly been here soooo many time and I'm not sure why I haven't written them a review at all!!!! I've been coming here for maybe 2 years at this point!!! The food I've tried almost everything in the menu and it hasn't disappointed me at all!!! Will say I love everything and it's a pretty generous portion. I've never had a bad experience but will say at times there is a line so be patient :)) for it it's worth the wait. The inside has a bit of seating but I take it to go. For me this has been one of my all time favorite places!!!

I live about hour and half away since we don't have any good döner spots in LA area I always go put of my way to stop here and pick up and couple of döners. I think they used to make the pide in house but I could be remembering wrong, I think it's just as good as a couple of years ago. The bread is pretty big 5.5-6 inch diameter. I always get the beef, the chicken is okay. I feel like the beef has more flavor. Service is normal you go up, place your order, pay and wait. It is a smallish resturant if you go during peak hours expect to not find any seats, but so far I never have had that issue. Parking is easy to find also. Ps the picture is the sandwich the day after I'm lazy and don't heat it up. It's just as good as eating it fresh.

Extremely disappointed -- not what it used to be. Ikram used to be my go-to place for doner kebabs. I genuinely thought they were the best in town. I've ordered from them multiple times through UberEATS and even recommended them to friends in the past. But after my recent experience, I'm done. I specifically paid extra for more meat in my sandwich -- and what did I get? Barely enough to fill the pita. It was a complete joke. If this was the "extra meat," I can't even imagine what the regular portion looks like now. It's honestly insulting. On top of that, I ordered extra garlic sauce on the side, which they completely ignored. No sauce, no explanation, nothing. This wasn't a one-off mistake -- this is carelessness and a clear sign they don't value their loyal customers anymore. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down, and the attention to detail is non-existent. I'm never ordering from Ikram again. If you're thinking of trying them, save yourself the disappointment and your money. There are way better kebab spots that actually give you what you pay for. This place has gone downhill, fast.

Got #5 mixed doner pide 8/10 $16.08 in the end Service was quick and easy and vibes are aight.

Friday lunch time was bustling, good vibes from the staff making the food at a good pace. Local gem! Got 9, 14, and 16, good sizes! Really filling, as fresh as you can get, would recommend

I've really went so long without trying this place! I got the Mixed Ikram Special (Beef & Chicken) with all the sauces. Getting it for lunch, I was full until night. The best part about this was the sauces! I remember there being yogurt, hot sauce, and another one I can't remember. Definitely get it with all so your plate is juicy and full with flavor. Seeing the meat cut off in front of you is the cherry on top! Won't be neglecting this place on my list next time!

I tried the special and the plate. Salad is great, simple. Chicken is tasty. The issue is with beef.. I wasn't sure if it was beef.. it taste and textured was similar to goat... i couldn't eat the meat at all.. Service was great. Maybe I will only eat chicken..

The dohners were always good, the customer service n friendliness were always 5 stars so I'm sorry I have to rate 3 stars today. I'm allergic to lamb not just that but I also hate the taste of lamb n I'm not the only person, most VN I know do not like lamb either. If there is 1% lamb I can taste it, I have too many taste buds it's almost a curse too as I lost 7lbs on my last trip to Paris, all they had were charcuterie, lamb n stinking Camembert n goat cheese, their beef was probably horse meat it was like chewing my boots. I called the restaurant n said I was given the wrong meat, the guy swore to me it was beef, well there's zero chance that I'm wrong as I have a strong sense of taste, I used to know a friend who owned a Greek restaurant he admitted the meat on the rotating gyro machine was always a mixture of beef n lamb. When I was in New York and Mexico, that was also case. The dude should have offered to give me the chicken, needless to say I didn't eat it. It was a shame as the sauces were excellent so I'm not going back. If you like lamb this restaurant is 4.5 stars.

Ig: asianphatty Amazing. I will gatekeep this place forever even though I'm a Foodie with a food page . It's so good. They put a LOT of meat so it is worth the price you pay as every bite has meat. The meat is tender and juicy and NOT dry at all. I will keep going back to this place whenever I'm in OC. So tasty! I get the #6 beef doner with extra lettuce and extra cucumber! In my opinion, the beef is better than the chicken! I have tried the sweet pastries they have, but personally they are too sweet and wet for me, so I will probably skip on those. Overall thought, the wraps and sandwiches are AMAZING.

After years of seeing Ikram in my IG sandwich feed I finally made it. Expectations were extremely high, some met some not. What Ikram gives hundo p is a behemoth sandwich, it's a big ole daddy. I got the mixed doner. The meats were kinda overcooked and not the best. The bread was great. The fixins were average as well, they all need a flavor boost. All together makes nice a sandwich but deffo photographs great. If I come back I would probably try a wrap. Go fill that belly

This is my first review in years and I want to do this today because of the amazing staff, especially Brian who made my short visit pleasant. The staff answered all our questions about each food item and had a great attitude. They gave their own honest opinions on their favorite items and sauces which we appreciated. Food was juicy, fresh, and savory just as we were craving. Can't wait to come back and try the other items.

Been coming here for years and I recently moved back to OC, I wasn't surprised when I stopped by today. The flavors are still amazing, my family of four ate here today for about $60. We ordered a 1) mixed pide (sando), 1) red lentil soup, 1) beef doner plate, and 1) mixed doner wrap. Three of us shared the beef doner plate and were satisfied. This place is still great and the only bummer today was that I found out they no longer make cheese filled simit pastries.

Ikram Grill is amazing! The food is super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean and welcoming. One of the best Mediterranean spots I've been to highly recommend!

We were craving for kabob so we were in Garden Grove area and went to Yelp. Ikram came up si we went here. I ordered the beef with pita wrap. It was really good! Next time I will try the sandwich.

The IG algorithm is wild ! That's all I gotta tell you. I'm busy on Google looking for spots to eat at and this joint looked quite attractive but I wasn't convinced. I go on IG to do my halal eats research (side tracked by cat videos and fitness influencers) and lo and behold , Ikram grill pops up on my feed as I watch a Turkish Torta being constructed... I was sold. I went there and I told them to make me what I saw on your IG page. DONE. It was everything I daydreamt of. Hearty and crunchy w the veggies , onions and hot peppers along with the panini pressed bread ... drooling. As for the interior , comfortable fast casual seating. They have the French perrier that I had for quenching my thirst doubling as a palate cleanser. All I have to say is if you love shawarma (who doesn't) and tortas and bread and vegetables and baklava, you should be at Ikram Grill.

First time here, Food was great. Service for most of us was fast, but they quoted 15 min for beef while it cooked yet They forgot about one of our orders. We Waited 45+ while seated in front of them. I'm sure it's not a regular occurrence but it was still unfortunate.

If you're looking for good food in Fountain Valley, definitely check this spot out! The service was excellent and super fast- they were really nice! I got the Chicken Domer Wrap for $11.49 and it was super filling. I got every topping and sauce possible and it somehow, worked super well together. Best in the area!

I usually stop by Ikram Grill whenever I am in the area. Food is amazing. They have the best döner/shawarma in town. If you would like to try authentic Turkish döner, I would suggest give them a visit. They have most of the famous Turkish desserts which they all taste really good. As for the service, I have been greeted and felt welcomed whenever I visited. They usually listen and repeat the order to make sure they got it right. It is a small place with limited sitting. I would suggest order to go, but you can find a seat and enjoy the food there. I would definitely go back to enjoy chicken döner again.

I ordered take out here and will say the chicken shawarma wrap was super filling with tons of great flavor - I definitely was very full after finishing it. The veggies on it tasted fresh as well and the side tatziki was fantastic.

Likes: + I always return for the #1 Mixed doner wrap (beef + chicken). Scrumptious and healthy. The sauce that comes inside the wrap complements the rest of the ingredients. + Always room for parking. + Quick service. Polite, helpful staff. + Decent amount of indoor seating available.

This Place was great. There were quite a few of Kebab options, and I love a good Doner Kebab/Pide. There's a good amount of seating options available, so I would recommend eating it there so it's still hot and fresh. The ingredients they put in the sandwich along with the sauce complemented each other really well. It had a slight kick to it but wasn't all too spicy! I got the Doner chicken pide, and my cousin had the beef one, both were top quality. Pricing was also really justified, I mean look at the amount of fries they give you, awesome! Overall we really enjoyed it, and would definitely come back.

Was invited here to try their food. Chose a Döner (Shawarma) Chicken with all the fixings. I would come back and try another dish. Sandwich was pretty big in size and very filling, I couldn't finish it. They were pretty busy for lunch time, we sat and ate but most ordered and left.

Hidden gem for Mediterranean sandwiches!! Food// The pide/sandwiches were HUGE! Def worth the buck. I tried the Falafel Sandwich and love the spicy kick with the jalapeño and tahini sauce. Falafel was a bit salty for my taste but over a great tasty and toasted sandwich that left me stuffed. Service// Relatively quick with ordering and then receiving your order as they make it right in front of you. Several people ordered Togo for pickup. Ambiance// Not too much seating with around 3-4 tables but it's quite cute quaint restaurant with some wall decor.

Still seeing FIVE stars here!! Came back for the "sandwich" which was highly recommended by my Facebook friends. It's called the "Doner" sandwich. You can get beef or chicken or a combo! Once again, my husband loved it. His comment was that it was filled with meats (I got the combo, beef & chicken) and various vegetables. The spiciness was on point, but seems it comes from the peppers, so easy enough to omit, if you're not into spicy. The staff is pleasant and friendly. The restaurant IS VERY CLEAN. Everything is impressive... and it's a healthy option.

I had a craving for some simit and Turkish food to remind me of my trip to Turkey. When I got there, the line was LONG but it moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived, the simit was sold out for the day but the sandwich was yummy; messy, but yummy. It doesn't really have a lot of space to sit and eat there, so we got it to go. By the time we got home, the bread had soaked up some of the juice and sauces, which, honestly, was a huge plus!

I have seen a work colleague of mine with this sandwich several times and I finally had to give it a try. He said I would be hooked and I believe I am. So much flavor and texture with the different vegetables. They use a few different sauces and some hot sauce to finish it off. I did ask them to cut it in half as it looked pretty amazing every time my coworker had his. There are a lot of other interesting looking items on the menu like wraps that I plan to also try including the rice pudding, which they make in house I'm told.

This place is pretty awesome. Fast, fresh, exceptionally good, Halal, and affordable. I got the Mixed Doner Pide and 1/2 the dessert case. All the vegetables on the Pide were crisp and fresh. The sauces were creamy and delicious and the meat was cut fresh off the kabob and not from a steam tray. It was like a Mediterranean torta. I was full and thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the most impressive things they had was a ton of dessert selections. There were 3-4 different types of baklava (pistachio, walnut, regular, etc.), kadayif, and Turkish breads. I got the kadayif, the walnut baklava, and the Turkish Su Borek. Everything we tried was well made and all very reasonably priced.

I've been coming to this place as long as they been open before they were allowed to have tables. We would sit on the side walk and eat. Food quantity is consistent. Portions is filling and I like the loaded fries they added. My sandwich of choice is the mix beef and chicken. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The store is a little small but it's set up is good enough to Enjoy there great sweets. It's a a must try location you won't be disappointed.

I love a good shawarma or a good doner sandwich so I found this place on Yelp while I was in the area. Ikram grill has a little bit of every thing from a sandwich to doner fries. The first thing that caught my eye was the beef shawarma sandwich which looked huge and full of beef. It was hard to pass it so I had decided to get the Beef Doner Pide and some Walnut Kadayif (similar to baklava). The food is made pretty quickly here and you can chose what toppings you want but I got everything and an extra side of their garlic sauce. The bun is then slightly toasted in a panini press and it's ready to be eaten. In simple words, the flavor was really lacking... no seasoning on the beef and even their garlic sauce had no zing to it. It was similar to just a little saltier mayo in my opinion. The need doner was also cold which didn't help because it just had a little harder consistency to it. The Walnut Kadayif was just ok, it felt a little old as it didn't have a crisp like most would if it were fresh, instead it had a stale consistency. In the bright side the portions were good and the food comes quick if that matters but all of the above was just my personal opinion.

That bread on #5 is fantastic. They put the sandwich in the panini press before serving so the bread comes out with a crunch on the outside. Wish there was more veggies in the sandwich, but that's a personal preference kinda thing.

The food was amazing the service was super fast and the interior was super clean. My co workers come here often so I had to give it a try and was not disappointed thank you!

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience with Ikram Restaurant was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. What arrived looked nothing like the appealing dishes shown online--instead, I got a plate of dry, paper-thin meat drowning in an excessive pile of mayonnaise, flavorless rice, and a stale, wilted salad that seemed days old. I wish I had taken pictures to show just how unappetizing it was--the presentation alone turned my stomach. The food was so poor in quality that I couldn't finish it. While DoorDash delivered it promptly, the meal itself was inedible. I don't like writing negative reviews, but I'd hate for someone else to waste their money on this. I won't be ordering from here again.

After 4 years, I still crave and come here when I get a chance. After the years, I think I like their chicken more now. I always end up getting #11, the chicken plate, so good!!! The service is great still too.

This used to be one of my go to lunch/dinner spots to order for pickup but they raised their prices and it's pretty pricy now. Not going as much as I used to but I get why they did that. Good regardless.

My friend and I decided to give this place a try and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious! We ordered the beef ikram special (it was good but I thought it was a bit spicy... maybe ask for the spicy sauce on the side), beef donor plate (this one also had the spicy sauce but didn't taste it much here... maybe because my mouth was already on fire lol), sobiyet, kadayif pistachio, and borek (it was good but we thought it needed a little bit of salt). Our faves were the beef donor plate, sobiyet, and the kadayif pistachio.

We ordered the beef and chicken sandwich, fries, and baklava, and everything was phenomenal! The fries were incredibly crispy, just the way I love them. The baklava was probably the best I've had in a long time. I prefer it not too sweet, and many places make it overly sweet, but this was just perfect. It was a great first meal here, and I will definitely be coming back! On another note, their service was amazing. The guy helping us was very patient and helpful when we had questions about the menu. After our meal, I accidentally left my bag there for a few hours. I was worried I had lost it (it wasn't a cheap bag), but when I called, they asked me to describe the items in the bag to confirm it was mine. I'm so grateful they kept it safe for me. Overall, I had such a great experience here, and I will definitely return for both the people and the food!

We are from Turkey, and this place has been an incredible find. It's clean, serves delicious, authentic döner (shawarma), and has exceeded all our expectations. For years, we've tried every shawarma place we came across, but we were always disappointed. Now, we can't get enough of it! We live 40 miles away, but more than once a week, we drive down to Ikram Grill to get our döner fix. Great prices, great place, great people! They also serve many other Turkish flavors, like simit, baklava, lentil soup. Note: We highly recommend eating it fresh at restaurant.

Try this place and you'll never go anywhere else in OC for quality Turkish food. Quality 5 Service 5 Consistency 5 (customer since 2011!!!)

I really enjoyed my mixed wrap. Great flavors, good textures, nice spice with the jalepenos, and creaminess with the 3 sauces they use. Just would like to have a bit more meat to veggie ratio but overall very very good.
