Great food great service! They have a wide selection on their menu including breakfast lunch and dinner that you can order anytime of the day. Their chicken and waffles are one of my favorites as well as the homemade Red Velvet cake! They are very friendly and attentive to their customers.

Today on January 26, 2025, at approximately 1:00pm, I had the pleasure Of returning to Ikrave. Ms. Sheena reached out to me and invited me back and we took her up on her offer. Ms. Sheena, I want you to know that Mr. Terrence took great care of us. The fried bread was fire!!! My oxtails and grits was also fire. My husband had sausage omelette that he loved. I want to personally thank you for your Kindness and professionalism. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food was great hot and on point. This is what I’m talking about and what I’m used to from coming there over the years. As long as those doors stay open, we will be right there with our families. Thank you again so much!!

Love the chicken and waffles at iKrave! Usually, I get Kayla's Krunch but today I got a regular waffle. Shrimp & grits here is another all time fave, and one that delivers really well. Oxtail is definitely a specialty here. Wish they'd ditch the plastic fork & knife pack for some metal cutlery, but overall, they bring the flavor!

I like coming here to this restaurant. My favorite dish is the chicken and French Toast. Great portions and Great taste and not a high price as some of these other restaurants. This is a picture of the other food that we ordered that the chef himself brought out to us. Those greens were very good and my Daughter really liked her food and she's a picky eater. The associates are always nice and try to be helpful. Also most of the fountain drinks are fire!

I love the food, the ox tail, shrimp, and cheese grits. I took my family there, and they went crazy. The place is just a little bit small, so it gets crowded fast. And when it gets full, you can tell the staff gets over whelmed. But other than that it's great food great atmosphere the staff is friendly and will talk to you and help.

Today is April 17,2025. We chose to dine in . I watched 20 walk in get serviced. Then I was given corn bread on a dirty plate, plastic silverware at the tables to eat . Waited to speak with a manger that avoided me at all cost . The ladies up front gave it their all to help.they were the only bright spot . I would never recommend dining in . This experience was the most memorable in a bad way. I hate to do this to black owned businesses but we must raise our level of hospitality and experience in our communities..

The breakfast was terrible. Went there to get grits, sausage, eggs and toast alone with take out oxtails, grits, chicken, Mac and cheese with bake beans. Let me start off by saying the grits was heavy seasoned with this unknown salty accent meat taste covered with shredded cheddar cheese speared all over the grits like they was covering up the taste. The sausage was not smoke sausage like I requested instead they gave me this hard generic sausage I never taste before and when I asked why is the sausage not what I ask for they say it’s the smoke sausage you ask for it tastes and look bad because we deep fried the sausage. They also deep fried the white bread toast. They deep fried everything just to make it fast but was still slow with the service. The oxtails was mushy all on top of the grits tasted so bad full of season to mass the terrible taste. The drinks was full of thick sugar. The bake beans was thick stiff and cold alone with all the other food on the plates. The cashier/ waitress was confused didn’t have any sympathy. I waste over $120 and left there hungry. I never left a review about any restaurant in my life. I will never go there again.

Stopped by to try some new dishes. Highly recommend the Ox tail and grits.im not a fan of grits but they have the best I've ever had! Pretty chill atmosphere and the staff was nice

One day I was driving down 95 and decided I was starving! I was on my way to the airport- late- and couldn't just pull off the freeway to grab some food. I looked at yelp and saw iKrave, it looked heavenly...I just Dost have time to Miss my flight!! So I vowed to come back! Today was the day!!!!!!!! Pulled into the lot that's right next door to a neighborhood butcher- it was around 11am, I wasn't sure if they were closed or what, so I went and looked in their window. Luckily, there were people inside that directed me to come in thru the door that's street side. While at 11:39am they were still cooking their oxtails- that was the only major disappointment, because that was exactly what I wanted to order!! So instead, I ordered the salmon croquettes and grits. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both were bomb, But what I really liked about the shrimp and grits is that the sauce was creamy instead of tomato based- sooooo goood!! The grits were grittin- everything hit their mark!! We will definitely be back!! Delicious!!

When I first had I crave, it was unbelievable. Something that I would never forget again and then when I went back, it was the same thing. I crave taste amazing from the shrimp and grits fish grits to the chicken dinner. Everything there tastes amazing taste fire fresh real soul, food, good collard greens good candy yams everything is fire. You can't forget about that flop that flopper legendary for sure. The vibes in there match the service and there is even better because again They sit down and walk you through everything and make sure that you know what is what and who is who because I crave keep doing what you're doing move to a new location was great. It's nice to be in there.

Soul Food time!! I was visiting the area and I was looking for some soul food so I found this place online and checked it out. I ordered the catfish sweet potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The sweet potato had some type of seasoning on it that I do did not too much care for. But other than that everything else was really good. The customer service was great the ladies at the counter were very friendly and giving me their personal opinion of what to order on the menu since it was my first time. Definitely worth you stopping by if you want some soul food and you are in the Miami area. All the food is at a good price point as well.

Ox tails and grits for breakfast... it was great you get your money's worth here great service and great food for a decent price I would highly recommend this place, go check them out you will not be disappointed

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!!! I am literally writing this with oxtails on my fingers that's how goomuch this review can't wait! I ordered through a delivery service and everything arrived quickly and still hot! Where do I even start? Everything is seasoned downnnnn! The fried chicken is crispy crunchy delicious! The Mac and cheese was definitely Mac and cheeeesy! The yams were flavorful, the greens were tender and just the right amount of flavor not too salty or too much vinegar, just right! The green beans had a classic flavor. The rice and beans were amazing and definitely cooked to perfection! And the winner....the oxtails...now let me tell you something. They did their thannng on the oxtails, they were tender, flavorful and plentiful! Wow!! Chefs kiss, I am so happy I took a chance and will definitely order again, and again! Ohh and I forgot to add the nice touch with the extra Texas Pete! I mean comeeee on now!!! Pat on the back Ikrave, you did the damn thang!

I came to Miami in search of a good soul food place. iKrave was questionable at first - however - I love to try for myself. The owner greeted us. I ordered the Dark & Lovely with macaroni, collards and rice. Everything was SEASONED to perfection! Portions were great. I was truly satisfied. The owner refused to serve us macaroni he said wasn't ready or warm enough. The respect he gave us to be honest was very pleasing. The environment is very friendly and welcoming. I loved the food.

Wow. Just wow. This food exceeded all expectations. Flavorful! Large portions! Seasoned to the T! Oxtail & grits 10/10! Oxtail was fall of the bone tender and cooked traditionally in Caribbean spices. They put plenty of gravy! and the grits were the perfect accompaniment. I've never paired the two before but it was delicious. Shrimp & grits 10/10! Creamy, cheesy and well seasoned. They were generous with the shrimp and portions overall. 10/10 recommend and will be returning to try more items from the menu.

First time trying this and I must say the grilled pork chops were top tier. Pork chops were seasoned to the bone, so amazing. The rice of the day was elite, just wish I added gravy on top and that would've set it over the top. Mac and cheese was decent, but still fresh and hot. But the grilled pork chops were the star of the show, can't wait to go back. 8.7 out of 10

If you like lemon pepper then this is your place. Lemon pepper seasoning is heavily used on your fries. I feel like I should be give the option of sal and pepper of the mystery seasoning with lemon Pepper.completely put a bad taste in my mouth. Restaurant and restrooms were dirty. I think they only clean when they are closing because someone started sweeping. Also call before you come because the hours online doesn't not match. Food is over hyped

My last day in Miami and my friend decided to finally take me here as it's 1 of his fav spots to buy food from when he's in town. Small spot to just grab food and go. I was craving oxtail and decided to try. Now I will say the oxtail and collared greens were all seasoned and flavored well. But it was dangerously salty. Like heart attack lol. I had a slight hangover and was super hungry so i I still tore it up but they def need to work on that. The mac was delicious He loves the food so I figure it was an off day. The young lady behind the register was super friendly and helpful. I'll be back to give it another shot.

This was our 2nd visit in 2 months, and they're solid. Both times, we've ordered a variety of items. Fried shrimp, smothered pork chops, fried chicken, grilled salmon, & oxtails. Various sides too, greens/yams/fries, etc. The food was good both visits. The service was pleasant as well. The music is also a nice touch. I'd come back and recommend others to try them out too.

I ordered a little bit of everything on the menu. I was pleased with all of my selections. From the pork chop, to the fried shrimp, the oxtail and grits and the fried fish - I enjoyed everything. I am looking forward to coming back to receive the same great quality of service.

Best morning diner breakfast style food I've had in all of South Florida. They have such a unique taste and spin on typical breakfast food and different flavors and style of waffles. The chicken and waffles was spectacular! Take a look at these pictures. I would recommend this for breakfast 5/5 times and I will be returning to try a different dish on the menu !

Support local business'(; This place has the best chicken and waffles in Miami. I ordered a quick little Togo order and even then the quality doesn't disappoint. I got a small Raspberry tea, the Exotic Fruity pebble Waffle with chicken strips, a Salmon croquette and some Strawberry Banana pudding for dessert. The Raspberry tea.. ughhhh so good. Not too sweet and super refreshing. Wish I would've went with the large. The Fruity pebble waffle and chicken strips never miss. (I've tried the Red velvet ones too and this one is my fav). The waffles are sooooo fluffy. They drizzle some kind of frosting on it so you don't really got to add syrup but I did anyway :P the chicken strips were perfectly crispy and tender. But the both of them together just makes the perfect combo. If you're feeling something sweet&savory, I recommend. The salmon croquette looks more like a thick salmon patty. Strong fishy smell and taste but it tastes pretty good. The Strawberry Banana pudding was the cherry on top. I like it more than the regular banana pudding because it has that tarty touch to it creating a nice balance. I was able to see the inside when I picked up my food and it looks super chill with cozy booths. Love the neon light signs and the music. The cashier was welcoming. A great spot to enjoy some soul food and nostalgic tunes. The prices are super affordable as well. I can definitely see myself bringing my kids here :) They loveeeeeee tasty food 10/10

Love iKrave! I've tried everything on their menu and have no complaints about anything. The breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts are always good. I had to slow down on ordering because I was gaining more weight than I wanted because the food is so good. The ambiance is a basic diner style. Can definitely see it having more of a lounge style in the future, but then no one would leave. Highly recommend!!!

Chicken is insanely crispy, tasty, cooked perfectly. The macaroni and cheese surprisingly had peppers in it. The green beans were mush and oddly vinegary. But the collard greens...holy hell those were the best I have ever tasted. Flavor, crispness and the meat inside those collard greens melted in your mouth. I would order this again. They have a lot of choices for side dishes so I will be exploring other options!

I have been coming to iKrave since they first opened in my neighborhood in 2018. I have to say out of all the times in the years I have ate here I have only had a issue once with them because they used boxed mashed potatoes instead of fresh (never had this issue again maybe they were out of mash that particular day and had to wing it), other than that their food is always cooked perfectly, flavorful and delicious with top tier service to match. My staple here is the oxtail grits... MUST TRY there is absolutely nothing like it!!

Favorite restaurant I've ever been to. I've literally ordered 100+ times. Owners are great people that give back to the community, food is top tier, vibes are elite. If you come to Miami and don't stop at ikrave- you wasted a trip honestly.

Every time I order from ikrave on Uber eats, they cancel my order.. they will ALWAYS say they're out of something or report a technical error, and cancel the order. They have said they were out of a certain food on Uber eats. But I go in, and they make it with no problem. I don't know who is declining orders, or reporting they're out of the things.. they've canceled my orders over 10 times, literally EVERY TIME I order Togo from them. It's annoying to be told they're out of something.. then I go in and they aren't.. What is the actual deal with them!?

This is an establishment I tried to support for years but I finally had enough of their dysfunction. From servers with an attitude to servers seeing me walk up to order and then disappearing in the back for well over five minutes without even acknowledging me. Items always sold out and the 1/4 of the time the food is inconsistent in taste. The most recent incident that made me now never going to patronize them again is them basically stealing from me. I placed a Ubereats pick up and they called me saying numerous items were sold out and I said just cancel the entire order then. They didn't cancel the order and completed an order with missing items. They then said if I have a problem I better take it up with uber eats. So I'm being charged for items that they claim were sold out ! The video is the incident of the five minute wait and photos showing lack of quality control of the mash potatoes. Another photo is of my reward points showing I supported them a lot, clearly that didn't matter.

My partner and I visited during a long layover as the spot is not far from the airport. The restaurant itself is small and seats less than 20 ppl if I had to guess. The staff was friendly and let us take our time ordering. They offer dine in, delivery, and carry out. The oxtails absolutely walked on water! They were served with creamy cheese grits and were seasoned and piping hot. We also had the fried conch and fried snapper with macaroni. Everything was delicious and I can't forget the light and refreshing watermelon drink that was like a flavored lemonade. The server, Quinisha, even helped us navigate the city during our short stay. I highly recommend this place for some authentic soul food and I hope I can return again, really soon

I read reviews before deciding to eat here, so instead of ordering through UberEats or DoorDash like I normally would, I decided to go directly to the restaurant and that was the best decision I could have made. I ordered the oxtails with 2 sides (collard greens and Mac-n-cheese) and the chicken and waffles. There was about a 15 minute wait after ordering but totally worth it because the food was hot and still warm even after I made it back to my hotel. The Mac and cheese and collard greens were some of my favorites from a restaurant. Flavorful and I was sad when they were all gone. The oxtails were good but they could have been cooked a little longer because I had to pull a bit to get the meat off the bone. The fried chicken was seasoned and good but I could have done without the waffle and they messed up and didn't give me the pieces I ordered. Tip - use cash. They charge extra if you decide to use your card and I wasn't warned in advance. All in all, I'll definitely be back!

I like this place, the food was good. Service was quick and customer service was A1. I wish the mac was more like baked & seasoned but other than that I liked everything else down to the kool aid. 8/10 i'll be back here, also the location is on 64th I believe not 49th.

This place was amazing . So me and my friends were vacationing and decided to take a Uber to the location based off of a recommendation from a friend . We got dropped off at the wrong location by the Uber . We actually went to the IKrave sun shop . Needless to say when we told the manager he called the owner and can you believe the owner drove us over to the correct location . We we're so appreciative when we got to the restaurant it was spotless , no weird food smells clean as a whistle , and the food was better than what I have had in Houston.(Houston food is hit or miss I said what I said ) I ordered the oxtail rice and greens . My other friends had the fried chicken which looked so good's. I ended up ordering another plate to go of oxtail . Overall it was all worth and anytime I'm in Miami it will be on my list

Oxtail with rice Meal (pick 2 sides) Collard greens, macaroni and cheese, oxtails, rice with beans. The entire meal was delicious! I don't know how they seasoned those greens but I'm sure Jesus was in there helping to cook them.

The food is amazing!!!! The exotic red velvet waffles with chicken was top tier!!! My husband recommends the chicken with the oxtail gravy. Good food, great music & vibes, and the ladies at the register provided wonderful service. Will be visiting soon.

The food was delicious some of the best soul food I've ever had. The friend chicken was addicting! Hot fresh and crunchy with super tender meat. The greens were tender and delicious and well seasoned. So we'll season it did not require hot sauce. The Mac n cheese was flavorful. The green beans had a unique flavor I think it was made pickle juice and I loved it!! Finally the candied yams were yummy too. It had a bit of a smoky flavor that kept drawing me back. The only thing I was like to see improved is the sides need to be hot when they come out. Most of them where luke warm. That being said I still enjoyed every last one of them. The service was nice our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. I appreciated the owner coming by to check on us. The space is open and spacious there is music playing and tv on at all times. Bright neon signs as to color decor. We didn't make it in time for breakfast so I want to come back for salmon croquettes and grits Moral of the story get here and enjoy the delicious food.

Ikrave never disappoints me. The restaurant and bathroom is always clean, very good customer service and affordable prices . my recent order was fried snapper, grits and eggs . i wish i could've taken a picture but i just went right in to eat . Taniyah took our order, she made sure my fish was fried hard just like i asked .

It was raining cats and dogs outside.. But it was going down inside of IKrave. First little get away with Daddy. Trying to keep busy and this really hit the spot. Not only are we going to meet my Dads cousin from Miami,we are having a spectacular lunch.. Virgil ordered the large Oxtails and Grits for he and my Daddy. Cousin Guss wanted a small Oxtails and Grits. Let me just say... They didn't skimp on the food. The plate was completely covered. These Oxtails were tender and quite tasty... Best I've had yet.. I ordered Chicken and Waffles. Now the chicken and waffles, were taken to a whole nother level. The waffles were not to sweet and thick. The mixture was just right!It was very light, covered with powdered sugar and provided a nice cushion for the perfectly pieces of fried chicken. I got water with lemon and the guys got the sweet stuff.(Lemonade and fruit punch) I opted to wait on the strawberry shortcake cupcakes! (Sorry they were so good I I got rid of the evidence quickly! Bren Appetit!

Found this little gem while searching for a place for breakfast before we went jet skiing at Pelican Harbor. Had grits for the first time! They were wonderful. My husband had the fruity pebble waffle with chicken tenders. He gave it two thumbs up. The plate was clean. My son had the Oreo waffle. He said it was great as well. He is a picky waffle eater. Highly recommend this place if you are around the area. This is a nice small business to support. Met the owner Eric who was very welcoming and appreciative of our business

One time from Liberty City!!! Yes this is where I'm from in Miami born and raised so anything in the city as we would say i will support. I've been hearing about this spot for about a year and everytime I'm home, there's always a reason why i haven't come here. Maybe it slipped my mind maybe i was tired and didn't want to deal with Miami traffic or i just wasn't on this end of town. Oh oh oh today tho is my day!! My wife and had an Airbnb in lil Haiti for the weekend and we were approximately 1.6miles away from IKrave So we head there Saturday during brunch hours and it's right in a spot I'm very familiar with so it wasn't hard to find. Sidenote: definitely back in when you park the parking lot is small and most cars are here for IKrave and folks block you in about this food so be mindful how you park champ. We slide in and there's a small crowd of folks with most getting food to go, so we grab a spot a the bar. Menu was nice and vast i didn't even look to be honest i knew what i wanted oxtails and cheese grits . My wife ordered grilled chicken with a waffle. She said the chicken was amazing and was well seasoned. She flipped her plate lol quickly My food was so damn good i bite my lip twice tender oxtails and grits mice and creamy no lumps at all. The vibe was cool gave me a vibe as it I was chilling at my uncle's house music playing laughter and good food. The food was so good we came back Sunday right before we hit the road and ran it all back again I really like this joint and will be back in May when i come back with the fellas.

Tried their Oxtail and Grits, because I love Oxtails and I love Shrimp and Grits. At first I wasn't sure if it was giving me what it needed to. but once I added some of there hot sauce which reminds me of if Texas Pete and Louisiana hot had a baby btw! it was amazing! Also I was able to try the fried pork chops and greens all were winners! Def coming back. Pork chop was flavorful and tender. greens were seasoned well with just that right tang of vinegar. The pics are not in the restaurant actually as we took it to go.

So my gf and I are from out of town. And we came here for the first time ever. Now let me tell you: the food was delicious. I had oxtails and grits and my gf had shrimp and grits. Both were so very good. However. The customer service was absolutely terrible. From the moment we walked up to the window the young girl just seemed annoyed. We had never been there before so it took us a moment to find what we wanted. However as someone who works with the public and in customer service. For her to take forever to even acknowledge us and acting like the customers are a bother is disrespectful and bad customer service. So Food Delicious Customer Service Terrible.

I had to make a stop by Ikrave while stopping through MIA bc Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson always posts some of their dishes on his Instagram page. The pictures of the waffles, oxtails with grits, bacon and eggs, etc. called my name today and since I had two hours to kill, I decided to give in to the temptation of Ikrave. The establishment is colorful on the outside. If you don't pay attention to the "Ikrave" sign on the outside and the Ikrave print on the door you could easily pass by the restaurant. I thought the sign outside blended into the decorative patterns that were displayed on the building, but I was laser focused on finding this place, so I would have driven around the entire neighborhood multiple times if I had to. There were plenty of tables and seats available at 10:00 am on a Saturday. I glanced at a menu quickly then ordered a large oxtails with cheese and grits. I also asked for a side of collards (menu indicated sides were served until 12:00 pm). I was advised that collards were lunch sides and not available in the morning. I was kinda disappointed bc I wanted something green (veggie) with my oxtails and grits. The hostess suggested eggs, so I went with eggs as my side. My total $23.00. I waited about 15/20 mins for my order and took it to go. Upon arriving back to my hotel, I found a very large platter of oxtails with cheese grits. The oxtails were savory and perfectly covered in gravy. The grits were hearty, filling, and cheesy. I tried the eggs, and they were just ok. Nothing special. I went back to my oxtails and grits with ease. The dish was fantastic, and I was happy with my decision. I have to give Ochocinco his props, he knows where to find some good food. I wish I had a longer stay in MIA bc I would love to try some of Ikrave's lunch/dinner dishes (of course, I would ask for collard greens again ).

I just left iKrave and the fried conch was the ABSOLUTE best fried conch I have ever had in my life. I had to call back to see who was the chef. I told my sister (who has these same attributes as me) to check it out and she called me back and her response was the same exact as mine. I have tried the fried conch with the conch sauce (10/10) and without (10/10). Seasoned properly, Fried to perfection, portion size great. Highly Recommended!!!!!!!!

Delicious and creative soul food. You must try! All the food is super flavorful and leaves you wanting more. This is definitely more of a take out spot, but they do have a couple of tables for your to dine at if you prefer. Nothing too luxe or boujee about this spot. You come here for good food and that's what you get! Service is friendly as well. Now to the food-- the oxtail and grits. Just wow! I never had that combination before but now somebody please stop me! So good. So buttery, so seasoned. The promise pebble waffle is such a sweet and delicious treat! Would have the same meal over again.
