The New Orleans Restaurants and Bars Featured in Season 7 of ‘Queer Eye’ | Eater New Orleans

"In Episode 3, “Speedy for Life,” viewers meet a young man nicknamed Speedy, who Brown learns about from his popular TikTok account. Speedy is learning to cope after a traumatic car accident in 2020 left him paralyzed from the chest down and killed his mother and aunt. When meeting with Porowski, he requests a lesson on hibachi steak fried rice, sharing that it’s one of his favorite meals. Porowski brings Speedy to the six-year-old Ikura Hibachi and Sushi on Carrollton in Mid City for the lesson, which Porowski learns Speedy used to visit with his mom. At one of the restaurant’s hibachi tables, Porowski shows Speedy how to peel and chop ginger, chop carrots, clean peas, and cook protein for steak fried rice." - Clair Lorell

The food was absolutely fantastic! They have a Hibachi area that’s nicely set apart from the dining area. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant! While the atmosphere felt a bit dark during the day, I can totally see it being the perfect romantic setting for dinner. I didn’t eat in the Hibachi area, so I can't say how much fun everyone was having there, but I heard the show is excellent! The sushi was delicious, and the chef was super accommodating, making a slight adjustment to my order just the way I like it.

Google
Ikaru Sushi offers a good all-you-can-eat experience that's hard to beat the deal. The variety of sushi is extensive, featuring everything from classic rolls to more adventurous options. The fish is always fresh, and the chefs are skilled at creating beautifully presented dishes. The service is friendly and efficient, ensuring that your plates are refilled quickly without long waits. Overall, it's a decent spot for sushi lovers looking to indulge in a wide array of delicious options.

Google
Ikura used to be a favorite when I was at Tulane, so I was excited to visit again while in New Orleans, but it was a complete letdown. We ordered the same dish twice, and the portions were noticeably different, which was bad. Why the inconsistency, shouldn't you match the first dish that was served? The curry ramen was especially bad: a hard-boiled egg instead of the jammy kind, overly salty, and the meat was tough and bland like it was just boiled. Curry ramen used to be my go-to dish... The other dishes were average at best. Really disappointed to see how far this place has fallen. I won’t be coming back.

My wife and I stopped by Wednesday to grab a bite to eat. It was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were pleased with everything from the amount of food that is portioned to the price of the food. The service was prompt, professional, and very enjoyable. We will be eating here again in the near future and will possibly make this a regular stop during our date nights. The sushi rolls were huge and very delicious.I had no complaints and would recommend eating here to anyone looking for great hibachi/ sushi.

Where do I even begin with this amazing experience? It was for my 3rd daughter's 9th birthday and we drove to New Orleans because she wanted Hibachi out of town. Despite bad weather the trip was well worth it. Our family was seated right away and our sushi rolls were out and ready to eat in no time and were delicious to say the least. We ordered 7 different rolls including the Poboy and Bourbon roll which I highly recommend if you are dining in. The hibachi was such a full treat that had I known it would be so filling I probably would've gotten less sushi because I was not prepared for such generous portion sizes for the family. It made me happy I didn't get an appetizer cause I wouldn't have made it out of the restaurant for at least an hour from being so full. They sang my daughter happy birthday and made her day extra special. The atmosphere was open, friendly, and inviting. The lighting along with it made it great for an intimate family moment and I will definitely be returning. Now my 5 year old wants the same place for her 6th birthday 🤣🤣🤣. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of Ikura for having us, my compliments to the Chefs and God bless them for the heart warming food!!

Google
Great experience. Our time was well spent. I chosen this place because I was bringing a group of people together who was meeting for the first time . I felt that if the people didn't talk much at least we will be entertained by the chef's tricks, skills ,techniques and we were. The food was great and plentiful everyone appreciated the food, the atmosphere, and the special gathering. The Chef 👨‍🍳 made it a great experience. 👍

Google
Good experience here, the staff was pleasant. If you like jalapeño poppers their poppers were 🔥🔥🔥 the best I had so far. We sat at the sushi 🍣 bar and had the poke bowls very nice 😋

Google
I love this place, I come here often. The food is always fresh. The menu has so many things on it that anyone can find something that they like here. I’ve rated this place before and always have given it 5 stars. I only gave it 4 stars today because my ramen was quite salty. Those with sodium restrictions should stay away from the ramen. Other than a little salty the food was fresh and tasty.

Yelp
I dont know about your experience at this restaurant but I had to give a review I have dined here before and it wasn't great but this time around it was amazing we had a party of 24 yes I said 24 and this restaurant was able to accommodate all of us. The food was amazing and they filled the plates. I have not had that much food from a hibachi restaurant in a long time it was my daughter's birthday we brought in a cake and they took the cake to the back when it was time to sing Happy Birthday they brought out the cake and we hand candles they even gave me a lighter to light the candles plus Togo plates for the cake. Ooh did I say they let us split the bill

Yelp
This place was so NOT the experience I was hoping for. Decided to come here on a Saturday night, and was completely expecting a little wait since we didn't have reservations. We were asked if wanted to sit in the hibachi area (with the show) or in the dining area where they would cook the food in the back. Since we didn't have reservations, decided to give the dining area a try, especially since we were starving. Party of five ordered the chicken teriyaki and sushi, steak teriyaki and sushi, bulgogi dinner, and two steak hibachi dinners. Good: chicken and steak teriyaki with sushi was actually fairly decent, but all the sushi came with a little too much rice. Not so good: bulgogi dinner was not thinly sliced beef but looked like ground beef, with a lot of rice. It had a semblance of the taste of bulgogi, but was not flavorful enough to stay in your mouth for very long. Bad: the two steak hibachi dinners. The salad was not cold, and the dressing was warm and runny. The soup was not flavorful, and I joked that it was hot water with a little food coloring. The steak was bland and overcooked (we ordered medium), the noodles and vegetables were not hot, and the fried rice seemed like it was not cooked fresh and had a lingering peanut oil aftertaste. They said it was cooked in the kitchen, but how long before we actually ordered were they made is the question! If you come here, do not settle for hibachi cooked in the back. Ugly: The bathrooms were not available to patrons on this night and they had chairs blocking the hallway to them. I asked if there was anywhere I could wash my hands and they simply said "no". Not sure if this was a regular occurrence, but I know their employees must have access to a sink for handwashing unless Ikura wants a visit from the public health department. Having been to many, many hibachis before, this place was by far the worst I've been to. Do not come here. Buyer beware!

Yelp
Was hoping that Ikura would be the hibachi spot that we're looking for, but unfortunately it wasn't. We went for lunch and it took an extremely long time for the chef to come out--when another couple arrived we realized that it was because they wanted to wait to fill more of the table (which I understand but at some point you just need to serve the patrons that are there). Everything also was very dingy, from peeling paint and worn floors to simple grime. This place could use a good cleaning and some TLC. And unfortunately the quality of food didn't make up for it.
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
Ikura is that late night hibachi spot. You don't have to sit at the hibachi table. You can stay at a regular table and order hibachi without the show and the extra cost. It's just as good and comes out faster for the hungry ones. As you can see, from the picture it comes with a healthy amount of steak and shrimp also a side of fried rice with egg and packed with flavor. The server was very friendly and informative about the menu. I recommend checking the spot out. They have some yummy rolls too.
google avatar

Meagan L.

Yelp
I have not had stellar experiences here and the food often seems both slow (to be delivered) and rushed (in preparation) at the same time.
google avatar

Tenaj J.

Yelp
I used to be a regular here when I lived in the neighborhood but haven't really been since Covid when we picked up delivery a few times. This is NOT the same place. Walking to seat ourselves at the table (after being instructed to) I could literally hear and feel the stickiness of the floor. The same thing happened on the way to the bathroom. Completely gross. Then I tried to order a lunch bento box and was told they are only doing dinner. It was barely 2pm and the menu said until 4pm with no days specified. That's fine, I'll take the dinner portion/price. Salad comes out and it's just iceberg lettuce and a runny ginger dressing. Miso comes out and it's not only room temp but completely bland. Literally tasted like water. Spicy edamame comes out with no salt but a drizzle of a brown sauce that tasted foul. Sashimi appetizer comes out on the same iceberg lettuce the "salad" was made of and did not look fresh. Then my chicken teriyaki comes out and aside from not getting the spring roll it was supposed to come with, the fork was dirty and the dish itself smells like dish water. Gross. The rice smelled off. The chicken was plain, dry, and bland and the teriyaki sauce neither looked nor tasted anything like teriyaki. I should've followed my first mind and gone to Royal Sushi on Royal/Touro. One of the best sushi spots in the city! Ikura can't even compare, especially not after this experience. Now after paying the $60+ bill (plus tip-just always tip, y'all) I have to go figure out what to eat for lunch.

Chase T.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and enjoyed it! The only down side was that the individual roll pieces were HUGE and I had to take 2 bites sometimes. Other than that though, the fish was fresh and taste was on point!
google avatar

Xavier R.

Yelp
Ordered two rolls. One was a crunchy role. The crunchy part was solid as a rock like the food was hours old.

Kayla M.

Yelp
some context: Called for a reservation for 5 but we were told we didn't need one for the grill table. And yet we got there and was told we needed to get on the waitlist for a grill table. We were seated at a sushi table. Our server said it was her first day working. Mind you, it was mardi gras day. Why would management do that to this poor lady? She was struggling to stay on top of this huge section practically by herself. As a result, majority of her tables were upset because of how many mistakes were being made. and some bulletpoints: - Took 40 minutes for us to get waters and straws for our whole table - Forgot three of our entrees. For my entree she asked "It's busy, do you still want it?". Before I could answer she walked away. They have a tendency of walking away before you are done trying to address an issue. Because of that I only had my side of rice and soup for dinner. We had to get the other two entrees to go. - Nothing was comped to make it right. No managers came over to see if they could help. Was there even a manager on duty? God knows. I feel sorry for our server for being thrown into mardi gras day without proper training. Management needs to get it together or they're not going to last long.

Yelp
I haven't had hibachi in a while and my friends wanted to eat here. I was not disappointed! I had the bourbon roll which I now dream about eating because it was amazing. I can't wait to get back and have it again. I wasn't too big on the clear soup. The salad was just romaine and a ginger dressing of some sort. I had the steak and chicken w noodles, which was so damn good I didn't remember to take a picture... it was so much food I still had a whole meal to eat later. Needless to say I will be back.
google avatar

Donneia D.

Yelp
The service was excellent. They were very accommodating and food was great! I would have food to show but we ate it too fast, it was so good! I will come back next time and snap pics lol
google avatar

Richard B.

Yelp
Sarina is a horrible manager. A ticket got lost for a friends all you can eat and she refused to take off the bill or put it in a to go box. They are clear about not bringing all you can eat home but since he didn't get his to start off you would think they would have made an exception. There were 10 of us for a birthday and Sarina definitely ruined the mood. Will not return.
google avatar

Tiffany M.

Yelp
Ew. Ordered takeout from here while in town. I've had better sushi at grocery stores.
google avatar

Robin L.

Yelp
I frequent this hibachi spot quite often but when I ordered this time I was a bit disappointed. The sauce that usually goes on the vegetables chicken and noodles was so thin and watered down that we couldn't enjoy the food. It basically had no flavor. I was disappointed and really didn't want to eat it. Portions are always nice for the price paid. Staff are usually friendly.

Iriana C.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 7:00pm. Wasn't seated until 7:20. Waited until 7:45 with NO SERVICE or communication. At this point, others at the Hibachi table asked a staff member when we could expect a hibachi chef to arrive at the table. He said minimum another 45 minutes. 45 minutes to ARRIVE. very frustrating seeing as we had already been seated and this was not communicated to us. very disappointed and ruined my valentine's day.

Danielle T.

Yelp
The best crawfish fried rice in the city! Also the best rolls in my opinion! Great options for vegan and pescatarians! The coconut shrimp was a bit over cooked and the spring rolls weren't fresh but they usually are good when they are fresh but I did order take out! Hawaiian Coconut Shrimp

Kristin K.

Yelp
Soup was inedible and said was gross. Food was barely decent. Chef was fun on the grill. Waiter was horrible at tending to any needs we had. They wouldn't give just broccoli (never had this problem at other hibachi restaurants). We were celebrating birthdays and they had no desserts to celebrate with. Weird. The restaurant needs a lot of updating and had a dark and dirty vibe. Watching a girl cuddle up behind a guy in the sushi bar prep area was not a favorite view. I didn't even enjoy the yum yum. I don't think I have ever disliked yum yum. Do NOT recommend.

Darrielle C.

Yelp
Food on point, Service a tad but slow but overall nice! Pretty decently priced for the taste and flavor of the food! Ikura is a go-to spot for sure, Especially during Lunch time!

Yelp
A DISTURBING AMOUNT OF RICE This is a review for Ikura's All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Sushi dinner. Today, after patronizing another AYCE sushi restaurant, I decided to try out Ikura. After all, it is only down the street and is much closer than driving to Metairie, how bad could it be? The answer--This is the worst sushi experience I have had during my entire lifetime. I like to believe that I know Americanized sushi well and have a grasp on what is good quality sushi and what isn't, and this absolutely was not great. I have never had rolls which were packed so full of rice that I regretted eating them. Every single roll lacked fillings and instead made up for it with rice. The worst part is that this was very methodical, it was clearly their procedure to pack the AYCE rolls full of rice so that customers can't eat more than two or three. During my first order of mediocre rolls, I resorted to removing rice to bring the rolls down to reasonable rice levels, BUT that caused me to end up with a roll that was approximately 1/4 of its original size! I found myself with a plate full of rice (approximately the size of a FULL order of rice at a restaurant) after consuming four rolls. The server actually commented on the amount of rice that was left over, and rightfully so--this was an absurd pile of excess rice. The server said that they cannot make the rolls with less rice and I can actually be charged for how much rice was left on the plate. That's insane. I was not alone in thinking this, everyone in my party was uncomfortable with the amount of rice on the rolls. Overall, the whole experience was very odd, and I found myself feeling sick after this meal. I absolutely ate more rice than fish and deeply regret visiting Ikura. I don't understand why a restaurant would offer AYCE if they're going to punish the customer for picking AYCE. If you are considering coming here, I'd recommend you instead visiting Akira Sushi and Hibachi in Metairie. From my understanding, both restaurants have the same owners/same family, but the Akira location in Metairie is a much better experience with more enjoyable sushi. Photo caption: This is the rainbow roll from my order. I had trouble capturing how ridiculous it looked on my phone, but it had 3x more rice than the exact same roll at Akira.

Yelp
horrible service waited til we had a "full table" before they would serve us water "again !! its water" "And got my drink order wrong!!" they dnt even have a manger at the restaurant "on hand" wouldn't even give a discount!!!!, " asked for two waters andd got the opposite!!!!!!""""" and i asked for my hibachi to go and they got my whole order wrong i asked for steak and chicken, i got fuckn steak and shrimp im allergic to shell fish!!!! Never come here !!! Worst place ever no manager on hand!!!! When I called and ask for a manager they said SHE WOULDNT BE IN TIL MONDAY!! Wat kind of establishment doesn't have a manager on DUTY
google avatar

Hillary C.

Yelp
I have a love hate relationship with IkuraHibachi, mostly love though. They have medium long wait times to get at a table (but they do get crowded so it is understandable), they make good food but sometimes the rice and eggs feel crunchy to chew. If you go there though, don't expect the environment to be quiet, it's going to be loud and it is not the place for a talking kind of dinner.

Shianne W.

Yelp
I order teriyaki chicken hibachi to go. the only thing that was good and acceptable was the clear soup. I had 0 noodles or veggies. the rice tastes over cooked soggy and old. the chicken wasn't even hibachi style. it was a breast cooked and then cut. kinda like fajita chicken. no teriyaki. the salad didn't even go to half of the styrofoam container and was drowned in sauce and wilted. I'm extremely dissatisfied and I won't be back. if I could post pictures I would.
google avatar

Arienne H.

Yelp
a couple friends and i came here for lunch, enthralled by the idea of all-you-can-eat sushi for $17. as all three of us ordered the all-you-can-eat option, we were able to share all of our food amongst ourselves. and it was truly all-you-can-eat! the portions were large, and the food kept coming as long as we finished our plates. be careful though -- if you don't finish, you pay for the leftovers. the servers were pretty attentive, but there was an incident with another customer while we were there that left us fairly tense. it was pretty empty since we came at 3pm, but the overall vibe was nice. i would definitely recommend if you come hungry!

Noelle L.

Yelp
We have made this our spot for All-You-Can-Eat Sushi. It's inexpensive and the sushi is really fresh and delicious. The service is super fast and we always leave with full stomachs!
google avatar

Tiff O.

Yelp
The sushi was beyond disgusting. Fish tasted old and each roll had SO much rice. We threw away half our meal.
google avatar

My Tram N.

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner with my sister. We opted for all you can eat. Everything is made fresh when you order. Our server, Andy, was good, he was attentive, and everything was brought out quickly. The sushi bar and kitchen were both very accommodating to my sister who is vegan. We really tried a little bit of everything offered on the all you can eat menu. Everything was good. The sushi was fresh, well balanced. The kitchen items were flavorful and piping hot. Next time I would love to try their hibachi which seemed like a fan favorite!
google avatar

Lynn L.

Yelp
Just okay. I have visited the hibachi bar several times. This time I chose in dining. MyMiso soup was okay. My salmon was cooked dry and under seasoned. I asked was the Upgraded fried rice, shrimp fried rice, but I don't think she understood me because it did not have shrimp in it The servers seemed reluctant to serve me and were polite but not overly friendly. I think I was asking too many questions.
google avatar

Babs D.

Yelp
Had the Tonkotsu ramen- huge disappointment. Completely lackluster broth with non of the traditional creaminess. I was there at lunchtime and the staff was overwhelmed. The place didn't look particularly clean to me, either. I won't be giving it a second chance.
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
This was a good night of Hibachi. We ordered the seafood spring rolls and they were very good and the sauce had a kick. We ordered hibachi fried rice with shrimp, hibachi fried rice with chicken and a shrimp tempura sushi roll. It was all very good. I found one shrimp peel in my rice but I can overlook that as the rest was delicious! We enjoyed our dinner and will be back. Also ask for the yum yum sauce, we had to ask and ask again. It was good!
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
It's a skip for me. Quality of the fish is not anywhere near other sushi places like Rock N Sake or Daiwa. The non-sushi items are fine like the house salad and edamame. We did the all you can eat, couldn't finish one of the rolls because the tuna slices were so fishy, and got a $5 up charge for not finishing the roll..... The NOLA area has other, better options, and I won't be back.
google avatar

Haley H.

Yelp
Ikura's hibachi is great & really fun!!! Dining in for the sushi is fine- the sushi isn't bad, and it is super quick. In fact, it's the dine in swiftness that makes me hesitant to take advantage of their all you can eat sushi special. I feel like it would be rushed. On the other hand, if you get take out expect to wait about twice as long as they project.
google avatar

Alexandra E.

Yelp
I wouldn't say this is the best sushi in town but if you want to have a $25 all you can eat this is the place to go. It's decent and you will enjoy jt! You can't beat a deal like this one. Just make sure you don't over order because they will charge extra if you have too much food leftover. You can choose from appetizers to noodles to rice to sushi rolls. A hungry person's dream!

Julia E.

Yelp
The noodles and rice had no flavor. Shrimp and chicken were undercooked and not cleaned. The staff was rude and unwelcoming. will not be coming back here.
google avatar

Shanita F.

Yelp
As always, the chef was very entertaining and was the star of the night. I've had hibachi dinners numerous times and I enjoy it experience every time! Ikura is asking people to make reservations at this time. You will be seated with other parties, but if possible, they will leave chairs vacant in between parties. However, if the parties sizes do not allow that, you MAY be sitting next to strangers. My party and the party I sat next to were both small, so the sat us at opposite ends of the table. The chef wears a mask the entire time. Masks are required and hand sanitizer is available. The food was good. The salmon was OK, but the noodles, rice and veggies were all good. The waiter wasn't very attentive but nothing to complain about.

Crystal B.

Yelp
Ramen tasted like dirty dish water... snow crab salad was bland with no roe.... Service was horrible... waitress argued with us when told ramen was gross.... Bathroom was dark and smelled bad plus the floor was sticky...
google avatar

Helen M.

Yelp
So me and my son decided to do Hibachi for Halloween . This was definitely an experience for him. My son enjoyed it. I enjoyed it. Let me say this, me and my son is picky. So they really were able to accommodate us and our difficult food orders. They also saved me some money znd overall it was a really nice experience. It was not crowded. Of course mask us required, however, there was so much distance between the few folks thay were in the building that i wasn't really paranoid at all. My son enjoyef his filet mignon and i loved the shrimp. We were able to do noodles and rice for dinner so we were in heavy!!!

Han D.

Yelp
I wanted to try a new sushi all you can eat spot since our regular sushi spot was closed on Sunday. The sushi was mediocre. The rice on the sushi was really heavy. Guess they wanted us to get full fast. Fish was not as fresh. Mostly the customer service was just not attentive with our dirty plates. The employees just walk by not picking it up. Such a bad awkful experience. Really wasted time / money. Will not come back.

Yelp
The restaurant is located off of N. Carrollton Ave. and is in a pretty easy location to find. The parking lot has assigned parking spots since it is in a business building but there are still plenty of parking spots. The restaurant specializes in sushi and hibachi but sadly I was only able to experience the sushi aspect of the restaurant. The inside looks like a typical Japanese / orient style restaurant but they have at least four hibachi stations in the center of the main room. The restaurant has plenty of tables and has some semi booths incase you want a table and to rest your back comfortably. The restaurant provides a menu that has multiple pages with plenty of descriptions of what you may want to eat. They break it down and provide an entire section for just sushi. The staff was friendly and the restaurant is a "seat yourself" style. Please be mindful of the staff because the hibachi section can be loud and it can be hard to grab the attention of your waitress. I tried three different types of sushi and their friend wanton. I tried an eel type, a crab type and their signature Ikura roll. All three were beautiful on appearance and had great flavor. You are only given chopsticks so prepare yourself for an experience if you do not know how to use them. The drinks normally arrive fast and when you order, the food comes out timely. You are given a good helping of wasabi and ginger if you decide to partake in that. I would recommend it. It was a good experience and the food was amazing. All the employees wore masks and they stayed just far enough away from you to make you comfortable. The staff was friendly but do not give an suggestions on what to eat. There was plenty of room away from other dinners and we were there during dinner hours. I am recommending it and wish I was able to give a good review on the hibachi experience. Yelp
Panju was amazing. I have been here before but the service was immaculate. My grandmother was very pleased and they made her feel welcome from the door. Everyone was so kind and they make sure to keep everyone distanced

Yelp
The fish taste expired. The rice was dry and hard. My husband got sick. Not recommended
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
FOOD POISONING! I ate here last night with friends and a bunch of us are so sick. The fish is not fresh and the staff is rude and unresponsive. Waitress' literally walk past us as we are borderline screaming "excuse me". I will never go back. We literally have food poisoning from this fish.
google avatar

Jen L.

Yelp
I grabbed some takeout here today. And it was fun to watch the hibachi action while I waited. I ordered fried rice, a naruto roll and a veggie roll. The veggie roll included a bunch of lettuce, a small amount of cucumber & avocado and a little bit more of asparagus. No carrot, no radish. A little disappointing. The naruto roll was tasty but the menu says sashimi naruto and maybe 1/4 of the filling is sashimi, the rest is snowcrab. Was hoping for more fish with the $14 price. The fried rice had big beautiful shrimp and that plus the speed with which my order was prepared bumps them up to 4 stars. My guess is that the hibachi menu outshines the sushi one.

Nick R.

Yelp
The rolls we got were beyond amazing. Very quick service. Loved every second of it. Definitely recommend the dragon roll.

Derrick M.

Yelp
I visited this place for our team outing while in Lisbon attending a work conference and was amazing!! The staff was great and the decor was very retro. I loved the LED signs that are written sayings all over the place. This is probably one of the most American restaurant/bars that you will find in Lisbon (food wise). They also have a shot challenge that my colleague completed that was AWESOME!! I believe it was 10-12 shots that you had to take and you win a bottle of Tequila.

Kourtney D.

Yelp
Oh man! This place was so good. Except the clear soup. For me personally, tasted like fish water. But the chicken and steak hibachi was AMAZING. The chef was great. The workers were great. Definitely go 5pm or before. Busyness picked up around 530-6.

Johan N.

Yelp
My friends and I just had hibachi at this restaurant and feel completely disappointed. It's very poor service. The waiter didn't mind about our food preferences. The food was very salty while we asked the waiter to tell the chef put light seasonings on our food. The protein portions were major cut down compared to our last visit. Instead, we were given more rice and noodles. They also takes 4% on total bill for "convenience fee" while most of credit card vendors are reducing the fee below 2%. They appeared to be encouraged ppl paying cash. We didn't mind to pay for their high price if they served quality food...

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner a few months. The group was big so they brought 2 hibachi tables together but only 1 chef came so one side of the table got all their food while the other table had to watch the whole show. That table ate and packed up all their food before the second tables chef came. So they were all ready to go before we even had a change to catch a shrimp! That was a little disappointing but the food is delicious. Recently reunited during the pandemic because they're serving takeout. The food is delicious even to go but it is pretty pricey

Yelp
I love sushi. I knew that I needed to get sushi while in Louisiana even though my friend hates seafood. I was definitely disappointed by all the rolls here. The spicy yellow tail was just shredded yellow tail covered in sriracha, wrapped very poorly. The other roll was okay. I think it was called the volcano? I also got ramen, which was delicious but I couldn't eat it because I was full from the sushi. Sushi was definitely not worth it so I wish I would have stayed with the ramen.

Yelp
Made the wrong order. I ordered a sashimi Naruto and ended up with just snow crab, a crunchy roll that was a cucumber only roll all through the convenience of Uber Eats just to be inconvenienced to get in my car to return it to a yelling manager who rudely exclaimed it was the drivers fault before listening to me or examining the mishap. She screamed at me offering my money back and never offered to correct the order. Never again!! Too rude and inconsiderate to go through that again. CHECK YOUR ODERS!
