Il Borro Tuscan Bistro London

Excellent hosts. Takes care of every minute details. Food is great. Will recommend. They have good mix of veggie and non veggie combination. Only downside the signature cocktail list was a let down fro me. I know most folks would prefer wine with Italian, but I prefer my whiskey cocktails any day. Wine lovers has a good selection to choose from.

Great but expensive Italian restaurant set in the heart of Mayfair - however please note that the lease is expiring and the venue will change! I took my wife for dinner to celebrate her birthday and we were rewarded with excellent service a lovely warm ambience and great food. We started with the fried Calamari and prawn dish alongside the grilled octopus. Both were cooked to perfection. Our mains was a special on the night - Pasta with Ragu served with 3 different meals. Again this was phenomenal. The staff also surprised us with a Tiramisu on a plate saying Happy Birthday which was a lovely touch. I'm curious to see which location this restaurant will end up as their lease is coming to an end and we were told that they were not renewing.

We were a party of five people and I think we got the best table, right in front of the kitchen which enabled us to see how smooth it was running. We started with the cocktails at the bar, and these were the best Negronis I have ever had. The dining experience was sublime and the wine from Tuscany was delicious. The desserts were so yummy, that we have to try a bit form every one at the table. Nadia was looking after us and she was very chatty but professional at the same time. She presented us with a round of refreshing drinks on the house at the end of the dinner, which was a nice surprise. I think Il Borro is now on the top of my favourite restaurants in London. It is quite pricey but well worth it!

The restaurant is undoubtedly high-end. The bar, our waiting area until we received the table, is quite elegant, and the bartenders are friendly. As we moved up to the restaurant, our waiter was also friendly, and we got a nice table. However, the disappointment arose when we explored the food menu. While the variety of dishes looked appealing, we were let down by the taste. The melanzane we ordered was terrible, not acceptable for a Michelin restaurant. The fresh pasta spaghetti, although ordered, came out very thick and unappetizing. My dish, the risotto cep, was average at best. Despite the manager and waiter apologizing and removing the melanzane from the bill, I can confidently say I won't be returning.

Delicious Tuscany restaurant in Central London that is worth the price. I had a fantastic time. Beautifully decorated inside with great service. Every dishes were so flavoursome.

Took my mother for her birthday after visiting last year for the first time. We wanted something luxury but informal where we could dress up, with a wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and amazing wine. Look no further!!! The atmosphere is chic, luxurious and comfortable. Bustling but ever so elegant. Comfy big chairs, lovely linen, beautiful views of open kitchens, soft lighting and stools for you handbags!!! The best thing however was the service. We were treated like special guests (which we are not) by a brigade of exceptionally professional and impressive and attentive Italians. The level of knowledge and intelligence and pride in service was something I had never seen before in London. The food was delicious, especially their fresh truffle pasta and the IL Borro wines were superb. Thank you Antonio for our Tuscany recommendations! Special mention to the impeccable and beyond stylish manager who was dressed to the nines and designs his own clothes! We will be back for sure!!!

Customer service wasn’t great, multiple times they served my dish to an incorrect guest on the table. I asked for olives to be removed from my pasta which they confirmed they would, but didn’t apply the changes. They insisted on adding bread to the table which we didn’t ask for, incurring further charges. The food is decent but nothing incredible, spent £52 on lobster pasta which they made a mistake upon leaving olives despite request. The pistachio dessert was very nice though. Initially it was a challenge to make an order as the waiter said he will be with us but ended up just being at the till for 10min, we sat down at 6.45pm and only started ordering at 7.45pm as we were waiting to be catered to until I raised a query to one of the managers in the suit jackets. The waiters in grey aren’t that helpful unfortunately. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant after spending £1500 for 11 guests and experiencing poor customer service.

Excellent place in Mayfair, the ambiance is warm and elegant. We had dinner last night and everything we tasted was delicious. The highlights were the seafood soup and the tuna tartare, both recommended if you visit the place. We need to come back to taste the meats too. The Ferrari sparkling wine was great and accompanied our food beautifully. We tried the tiramisu too, perfect balance between sweetness, alcohol, coffee and creaminess. We are going back for sure.
