A New Italian Restaurant with Washington State Roots Brings Live Jazz to Spring Valley | Eater Vegas

"Run by the Mercini family from Washington, this forthcoming Spring Valley restaurant will bring their spin on a family-style Italian dining experience—inspired by their Kirkland and Everett locations—to a corner storefront at Durango Drive and Rochelle Avenue. Aiming to be the neighborhood’s only full-service Italian concept, the venue will seat about 75 diners with bar seating and a small patio, feature live entertainment (jazz bands, piano players, and singers), and emphasize authentic Italian cuisine and imported Italian wines. The project is still progressing through the planning-department process, tentative hours have been proposed (generally 3–9 p.m. daily, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 9 p.m. closing on Sundays), and no estimated opening date has been announced." - Bradley Martin

Wow! Amazing food and service. The care they take to prepare the food is evident in every bite. From the breadsticks that melt in your mouth, all the way through dessert, we continued to be amazed. We had a table of ten and all felt the same way, a wonderful meal. Happy to have a neighborhood Italian restaurant that will be our go to. Side note…..lobster bisque and tiramisu are two of my favorite things that I try everywhere I can, and these were the best I’ve ever had. Pictured here are the lobster bisque, cioppino, chicken parmigiana, and branzino and shrimp. Buon appetito!

The stretch of Grand Canyon Drive south of Flamingo has a trove of restaurants packed into a couple square blocks of plaza after plaza. One of those restaurants was Il Chianti, another heretofore undiscovered place which seemed to magically appear to me while idly scrolling Google Maps. Very warm greeting from general manager(?) (Roger?) and Catherine upon entry and gave me every seating option. Catherine would be the server for my table as well. Learned there was a 15% discount for seniors and military on that day. Prices listed are from the menus; discount was applied to the pre-tax total of the entire check. Great beginning with the basket of complimentary breadsticks and saucer of fresh clean oil+balsamic vinegar. The two puffy garlicky mini loaves were piping hot, soft aside from the baked cheesed top, and so delicious. Ordered Umani Ronchi Pecorino 2024 ($15 gls x2): Very nice pours. Petite Caesar ($10): Appetizer size but in no way puny, fresh green leaves, crunchy zippy croutons, just enough tangy dressing to impart its flavor without drowning the salad, plenty of grated parmesan on top, and (applied tableside by request) fresh ground pepper. Pear and Cheese Tortellini ($35): A dozen drawstring pasta purses stuffed with pungent cheese, contrasted with sweet mild toothsome pear, covered in more melted cheese and vodka sauce, decorated with spinach, and ringed by five large, firm, snappy tail-on shrimp. Fantastic. Portion large enough to be shared IMO; had takeway. Espresso Affogato ($12): Sizable ice cream scoop with chocolate jimmies, topped with a dollop of cream, dusted with cocoa, with a ladyfinger carefully perched aslant. The double shot of espresso was poured into the pretty large ceramic cup tableside. A sweet jolt. Value: Very high. Service: Very attentive from Catherine, the water bearer ensured the glass was always full, the GM and Chef/owner Rodolfo "Rudy" Janeo, Jr. walked the floor checking in and speaking with the guests. Atmosphere: Relaxing; could be casual, cozy, formal, romantic. Facilities possibly reflected the fluid nature of the restaurant; trompe-l'œil wallpaper, pictures of cute birds alongside a tasteful provocative black-and-white portrait of a lady, and false greenery abound. The airy main floor in cream and dark wood had arched doorways, a wine wall, and bottles in cutaway nooks. Music was in the vein of "That's Amore". etc •Reservations available via OpenTable. •Located within the maze of the Grand Canyon Parkway shopping center. I'd say Il Chianti is the north anchor in the one plaza where Chuck E. Cheese would be the south anchor. •By car, within spitting distance of the 215/Flamingo exit. Relatively short walk from several apartments, condos, and hotels including Aster Blue Diamond, Aspire, Hampton Inn, REVERB, and The Cliffs at Peace Canyon. •Speciality cocktails envisioned to become available in the future.

A well earned 5 stars. All the reviews were accurate and well deserved. The bread is S tier. So good and fresh. We had the spaghetti and meatballs and the pan roast. Both were excellent. Its clear that everything is made fresh and by a skilled chef. Service was perfect. Couldn't ask for a more responsive and friendly waiter. This is a quaint local place that easily competes with anything I've ever experienced. Looking forward to my next meal here. Kudos.

We tried Il Chianti after a colleague recommended it, two others tried it and raved about it, and I saw that the restaurant serves crème brûlée cheesecake. 🤤 I had the lobster bisque and lobster risotto. My husband had meatballs to start, pasta bolognese, and a sangria. We shared the crème brûlée cheesecake. The food was phenomenal and the service was amazing! Very attentive and great touch for the chef to check on us. We will be back!

Back again for another great meal at one of my favorite Italian restaurants! I usually go with the chicken francese, along with the meatballs, sausage, and peppers—my go-to dishes. The food is always excellent, and the service makes the experience even better. Rodger and Chef Rudy are always a pleasure to talk with, and the rest of the team is just as great. The servers are attentive, and the bussers never miss a beat. If top-notch service and delicious food are what you’re after, this place is truly a hidden gem... 🍻 Thank you, Chef Rudy and team, for always creating such a great dining experience!

Google
What a nice experience! My wife and I went just around lunch time, and we were the first ones there, so we had the place all to ourselves. Nicely decorated and very bright/open during the day. Food was absolutely delicious, and service was super (without anyone else for them to worry about). But even if the place were full, I have a feeling you'd be treated just as well. Food was fresh and very, very flavorful. This place has some great bread. Some of the best I've had in quite a while! Soft, fresh, hot, good garlic. My wife and I shared the bruschetta. Again, awesome bread base. Fresh, tasty. My only complaint about it was that they left out the basil and just put some greens in the middle. Delicious nonetheless. Their balsamic reduction was spot on. Both of us had the beet and goat cheese salad. One of the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh, beets were tasty, cheese was creamy, portion size was great. Strips of freshly cooked peppers made it even better. No complaints. Wife got the lobster bisque which she loved. Bonus presentation: bisque came out with the lobster tail still cooking inside the soup. Once at our table, our server scooped it out, pulled out and cut the meat, and spooned it back into the soup. Doesn't get much fresher than that. I went for the chef's pan roast. Calamari was very tender and not rubbery. Same for the shrimp. Sausage was just spicy enough. Risotto was creamy and tender. Very nice job. For desserts, my wife's gelato was delicious and well portioned. My tiramisu rivaled some of those I've had in Florence. It wasn't overly sweet like some places to do appease American tastes. Bonus in my book: they box your leftovers for you. That's a super-big plus for me instead of just dumping a box on your table for you to scoop your food into. That's a hallmark of good service. Overall, you'll spend about $50 to $75 per person with the meal we had. But it was worth it. Food this good can be hard to find anymore. Recommend this place, for sure!

Google
Ive seldom had as positive a dining experience in Las Vegas as I have had at Il Chianti. Ive been to most of the big or vintage Italian places in town and frankly, they're living on old glory (especially the one by the Aria, you know who im talking about). Their recipes are stale and safe. This new spot in town is phenomenal for 3 reasons. 1) Staff and Atmosphere Il Chianti is bold, chic and delicious. The staff is very friendly (the Italian restaurant which must not be named staff didn't bother to make eye contact with me or smile last time I went). They gave great suggestions and made sure I was seated in my spot of preference. My waitress Shanna noticed the sunny was starting to reflect on my spot and without being asked, offered to move me away from the glare. She gave great suggestions with a smile and my waiter Carlo keep my glass and bread basket full. The place has a nice open concept so you can see into the clean kitchen and frankly I felt underdressed 2) The food and Price I had the Beet and Goat cheese Salad (recommend by Shanna) and it was amazing. The roasted peppers really brought a mild savory flavor to the rich vinaigrette and the Beets were very fresh. The Bread is top notch, not the stale hard crush stuff you get at other places. Its soft, so very soft with herb cheddered baked on top that you enjoy every dip into your oil and vinaigrette. I was suggested the Banziono (Sea Bass over spinach Risotto with grilled shrimp topping over a butter sauce base) and I couldn't believe the flavor. Its really hard to pair Salty and Savory together without one overwhelming the other (its why people usually pair them with sweet southern juxtapose the flavor and dont mask eachother) but the chef was able to get it just right where both flavors pop at the same time. Bass was cooked perfectly skin on and the skin crunches and then melts in your mouth. The risotto is as good as Ive ever had and the shrimp were perfect and not rubbery. My regret is that I could dona dessert. Price wise its high end, but I can say you honestly get what you pay for. Pick something nice off any menu at any restaurant, up it by $15 and that about what itll cost you for better food than what you'd get anywhere else. For a nice dining out experience, I'll pay an extra $15. 3) Location Location Location Its right off the 215 exist to Flamingo, like right off it, youre only about 400ft once you merge off. It shares a nice big parking lot so parking isn't an issue. Being in Summerlin, you dont have to worry about getting stuck in traffic on your way or leaving or paying for parking. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. All and all I had a great experience, owner found out it was my first time and she came over to shake my hand and told me, "I like to make sure your first time isn't your last time, we aim to please." and I gotta say, they sure did.

This is definitely a place to take your date. Whether it’s a new relationship or an older one. The food, service, and atmosphere are always top tier. I’ve eaten here three times and not once was I disappointed. I ordered a glass of wine-duh- salad to start with then the lobster risotto with cannoli for dessert. I ALWAYS forget to take a picture of the bread because it’s so good. Honestly you won’t be disappointed coming here. 5 stars all the way around. For my vegetarians. They can make it without the protein.

Yelp
Popped into Il Chianti Italian restaurant for our anniversary early dinner. Met the Owner/Chef Rodolfo Janeo Jr and the General Manager Roger Mora. The food was superb, the restaurant was set up very elegantly and the service was great. Thoroughly enjoyed the anniversary desert. This was way better than anywhere we've been in the past. As long-time Las Vegas residents, definitely will be returning for future family affairs.

Yelp
This is my 600th Review on Yelp! Located in Summerlin, 6 miles West of the Las Vegas Strip on West Flamingo and Grand Canyon. Beautiful, elegant dining. Decorated for the holidays. Opens at 4pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were the first diners. Party of 6. Friend's dining is the best and we all ordered a different dish for dinner. We all love our dinners and said we would definitely dine soon. Customer Service 10 Star. Very attentive and food came out fresh and hot. The bread basket was delicious with a side of homemade balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Chef came out after dinner. We all had a nice chat, and he even sat at our table. Nice gesture. Thank you for treating us so well. See you soon!

Yelp
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and quick. You can tell the team takes pride in what they serve. The food was amazing everything tasted fresh and had great flavor you can tell it was made with care. As soon as you walk in from the greeting to the food presentation to taste the experience was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want high quality dining with great service.

Yelp
My husband was craving Italian, so we finally decided to give this place a try and we're so glad we did! The restaurant has plenty of seating, and we were greeted right away and taken to our table. Shortly after, a warm bread basket arrived along with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was fluffy and fresh, and the balsamic was thick, sweet, and absolutely perfect for dipping. We started with the Arancini and Caprese. The Arancini was perfectly fried with a flavorful filling and a delicious pomodoro sauce that wasn't overly acidic. The Caprese came with thick, juicy tomato slices paired with burrata, roasted peppers, onions, and arugula; such a fresh and balanced combination. For our mains, my husband ordered the Veal Parmesan, which was tender and perfectly cooked, served with linguine and that same yummy pomodoro sauce. I had the Branzino (sea bass) dinner special, and it was outstanding. The skin was crispy, the fish was tender, and the lemon butter sauce with capers and risotto tied everything together beautifully. I could honestly eat this dish every day! Even though we were full, we couldn't resist dessert. We decided on the salted caramel gelato. It was creamy and decadent, with bursts of caramel and bits of chocolate, served in a fun wonton bowl (you can even use it as a scoop!). We're already planning our next visit, the lasagna for him and the adobo nation for me!

Yelp
We visited on Friday, for lunch, with a party of two and it was a great experience. We arrived right at opening time and were seated right away. The dining area is a nice size and well decorated. The waiter stopped by and took drink orders. They don't have a full liquor license yet, so I opted for wine. We started with Arancini as an appetizer, it was a large portion and very tasty. From there we went with a Caesars Salad, Lobster Bisque, Pear & Cheese Tortelinni, and Cioppino. Everything was excellent, with the Bisque and Cioppino served piping hot. Portions were giant. The service was excellent, the waiter was friendly, prompt and professional. Another gentleman helped as well, he might have been the owner, very nice person. Overall, this was probably the best Italian restaurant we have ever visited in Vegas, and we've been here 20 years. OUTSTANDING place to dine.

Yelp
We found Il Chanti on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it had just opened. We were able to get a last-minute reservation and were seated quickly. The head chef personally stopped by our table, which was a warm and friendly touch. Although the full bar wasn't set up yet, we ordered a bottle of Brunello that was excellent. For starters, we had the Caesar salad and lobster bisque. The Caesar was fine but nothing remarkable; however, the lobster bisque was outstanding--rich, flavorful, and a must-try. Fresh bread with oil and balsamic was served to the table, and it was fantastic. For mains, I had the eggplant parmigiana and my wife ordered the chicken cutlet. Both portions were generous, and the flavors were spot-on. For dessert, we shared an affogato--my first time trying it--and I loved it. We also sampled the tiramisu, which was equally well done. Overall, the experience was excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. With the quality of the food and the welcoming service, we'll definitely be back again.

Yelp
Very nice atmosphere, clean, large restaurant with good wine selection. Had lots of staff check in on us, including the chef/owner. Love the Filipino chef with an Italian flare. We had the carbonara and the prosciutto / mozzarella salad. Yum! The house bread is fantastic- warm, cheesy and dipped in balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. The drink- Coke is a tad pricey at 6 bucks, so better off with a glass of wine! I liked the carbonara as is, could add extra protein with chicken starting at 8 bucks. Lunch portion was good size on the carbonara. The prosciutto salad was also ample for sharing, but a tad sweet with the dressing. I'll have to come back and try the dinner size portions. Wish they had a 3 course lunch- smaller size for trying dessert and salad/soups.

Yelp
I was first introduced to this restaurant when it was located at the Horizon Ridge space. It was so wonderful that I couldn't wait to bring my friends and family back. I was slightly disappointed that they moved to the Summerlin area. However, I'm happy that their new location will accommodate larger parties and more business. This particular visit we had a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs, salmon, puttanesca, and the Branzino special. The staff was kind enough to substitute scallops for the shrimp topping as I have a shrimp allergy. The service here is warm, friendly and professional, and the staff have a really good sense of humor. The next time I return, I will probably have the Cioppino, without shrimp, which was delicious!

Yelp
We had a lovely dinner here. Bread is so fresh and food is delish. The chicken parm stole the show. We asked for it with fettuccine Alfredo instead of red sauce pasta and it took it over the top. There was a small upcharge for this request. The staff was very attentive and chef came out to say hello. It was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
We were taking an employee to lunch and she wanted Italian. We checked around our area for restaurants open for lunch and came upon Il Chianti. I cannot express how enjoyable our meals were. My wife ordered the charred calamari. The calamari was deliciously soft and the sauce it was in, was extraordinarily tasty. Our employee ordered Bisque Di Alagasta,, a lobster bisque type soup with real lobster in it. She finished the whole bowl without saying a word. I asked how she liked it and she said it was the best she had ever had. For main courses we I had the Veal Piccata with pasta, my wife had the Chicken Angelo and our employee had the Pasta A Pranza Vongole, linguine with clams. My Veal was soft as butter with a great taste, and included capers, parmesan cheese and picatta sauce, .which gave it a slight bite, which I loved. Both my wife and employee loved their meals as well. The Chicken was tender and the sauce tasty and our employee loved her Pasta. We topped off the meals with Creme Brulee and Espresso Affogato, a double shot of espresso with a scoop of cappuccino gelato. Both desserts were simply delicious. We accidentally found this incredible place, and promised the owner (who is also the chef) that we would be back again. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have have been to in Las Vegas in my 10 years living here. A truly enjoyable place to eat.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I came here last Friday night and honestly... we were not expecting it to be this good. Il Chianti is a small, family-run spot with a Filipino head chef, and his cousin runs the front of house. The vibe was super friendly and welcoming. Our server took the time to walk us through the menu, made some great recs, and was just really warm without being over the top. The prices are a little higher, but after that meal, both of us agreed that it was worth every penny. What we got: - Breadsticks with house made balsamic vinegar (aka their dessert killer) - Pear and cheese tortellini with shrimp (one of their best sellers) - Lamb with mushroom truffle risotto - House sangria - Creme brulee cheesecake with limoncello sauce We started with their house breadsticks and balsamic vinegar. It sounds pretty simple, but trust me...it's not. That vinegar is house-made and actually so good they call it the "dessert killer" because people just keep eating it. I had to physically stop myself from eating more so I could save room for dessert. What's incredible is that they even gave us extra to take home! The standout dish was the pear and cheese tortellini with shrimp. It's rich and cheesy but the pear adds just enough sweetness to balance it out. I can definitely see why it is one of their best sellers. We also got the lamb with mushroom truffle risotto. The lamb was great as well, tender and not gamey at all. The risotto was a bit too salty for me though, so I would probably skip that next time. Next time, I think we would order just the lamb as an appetizer. Their sangria was also house-made, and they brought it out in a layered presentation with the wine on top to show that it indeed was made in house. Even though we were stuffed, we still went for dessert and tried the crème brûlée cheesecake with limoncello sauce. They suggested getting it a la mode, which we opted not to do. The cheesecake was super rich and decadent, and my favorite was the homemade mascarpone cream on the side. I do wish we had gotten the ice cream just to help cut the richness of the cheesecake, but everything was really well balanced. We ended up bringing home leftovers of everything except the cheesecake. That got demolished on the spot. But hey, since they brûlée'd it, they claimed that also got rid of the calories! We'll keep telling ourselves that to make us feel better . Overall, Il Chianti won us over. The service, the hospitality, the house made everything... it's the kind of place that makes it a true hidden local gem. We're already dreaming of our next visit already (especially for those breadsticks and balsamic vinegar! *chef's kiss*)!

Yelp
New opened Italian Restaurant near Summerlin. Spacious and very welcoming ambiance. The staff are very pleasant, RJ in particular. The food is flavorful. You know that the food is good when the chef takes time to make a balsamic vinegar reduction with the evoo for his fresh bread. It's nice to meet Rudy, the chef and owner.

Pamela S.

Yelp
Salmon was raw. I sent it back. Owner told me to tell them well done next time. I've been ordering salmon for 40 years and never had to ask for well done. The cook always knows how it is supposed to be cooked. Sauce was bad also.

Yelp
Delicious food, nice atmosphere. Charred calamari what delicious as was my Mediterranean dish. Rudy executive chef came out and visited with each table. Very friendly, delicious food.

Yelp
Amazing food, Chef Rudy and staff made my birthday celebration feel as though I've known them for years. Stumbled into this location randomly and will be lifelong customers now! Such a great time.

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was absolutely amazing! It was both our first time after hearing great reviews from a friend. We loved everything we chose! We had the bruschetta and Caesar salad to start in addition to the house bread with balsamic and olive oil and it was so good. I could probably eat multiple servings of just the bread and oil but I had to stop myself to save room for the entree. I had the bistecca and was so surprised with the portion! The steak was cooked so well and I love myself a vodka pasta and it did not disappoint. Every bite was so flavorful. Chef Rudy was so kind and came by to make sure we were taken care of. The service here was amazing! We are already planning on coming back and bringing our families.

Yelp
Il Chianti Italian now off of the 215-flamingo. Chef Rudy is amazing for both food and hospitality. * Cuisine: Authentic Italian with standout dishes like lobster bisque, pear-cheese tortellini, lamb chops, and tiramisu. * Ambiance: Warm, intimate, and inviting. * Service: Attentive and personal--Chef Rudy often greets tables himself. * Chef Rudy: Praised for his skill, friendliness, and ability to make every guest feel special. We'll miss you in Henderson, but wish you much success!! And the lobster ravioli is amazing And Catherine our server checked off all of our boxes for an amazing experience. We are not pushovers. Every single thing we had was anazing. . Thank you!!!

Yelp
Il Chianti Italian was a perfect restaurant to choose for a friend gathering. My hubby and I had a wonderful and special dinner with our friend and sister-in-law. All of us had never been there and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing food that we had. Our order consisted of the seafood cioppino, the chicken piccata, the fettuccine alfredo and their spaghetti and meatballs. Each dish was expertly prepared and the flavors were amazing, especially the seafood cioppino and the delicious chicken piccata. Wow to both of those dishes for their presentation and flavors. The meatballs were also excellent. The portions were generous to match the higher prices, but an entrée could be shared by two people, making it a more reasonable value. We met Chef Rudy who sat down with us and chatted sharing his story, which is also in the menu text. The entire staff is incredible and so nice, including Shawna, who was our server. They were also friendly and welcoming and genuinely happy that we were there. It's also a very pretty restaurant with a relaxing and comfortable vibe. Highly recommend and we will be back when we are in town again to try more menu items!

Nick N.

Yelp
Great flavors and variety. Prices are the standard new prices in Vegas. 30$+ for entrees. Lots of fish, lobster, shrimp options. Their table bread was fantastic. Service was spot on and quick as well. I ordered the 31$ lasagna. Great flavors. Unfortunately it was not a traditional layored lasagna and could have used a little more pasta.

Yelp
Best Italian restaurant I've tried in Vegas, comes in great portion we can't even finish but every dish tastes so good, it's hard to pick the best dish because they are all delicious. For dessert I highly recommend the chocolate Lava cake that comes with expresso gelato. All servers and waitresses are kind and caring. Would definitely come back soon.

Yelp
Food, service & ambiance were impeccable! Manager Roger & owner Rudy made several appearances throughout our dinner but not overboard! We had the clams for an appetizer & they were so good that I had them again for dinner with the linguine! My husband chose chicken Parmesan which was big enough for 2 people! We want to support this restaurant that deserves the recognition! Please go in & say hello! They are beyond good!

Yelp
Drove all the way from Henderson to check this place out. Def not a wasted trip ! We took my parents and they aren't the easiest to please when it comes to dinners out... they loved it. The taste was authentic as you can get outside of Italy. The portions as you can see were ginormous. We asked for garlic olive oil to dip our bread in (the breadsticks are ridiculously addictive) and it was so good along with the house olive oil and balsamic. We all ordered different dishes and they all were delicious. Service was top notch from the busser's to the server.. Ask for Roger, he provided a 5 star experience. The chef even comes around checking on everyone.. They had an extensive wine selection that was reasonably priced compared to other local restaurants.. We will definitely go back. Adding this to one of our favs!

Yelp
This place is amazing in EVERY way! The ambiance, the service, the taste of the quality Italian food, location is in summerlin and they even have the Italian music playing in the background like the Godfather movie! Love it! Even the owner came out to say HELLO! They just moved from their Henderson place to now Summerlin location .. let's support this small business!!! I promise you , you will not be disappointed!! Good Italian food with good experiences that come along with it!

Yelp
My husband and I went to Il Chianti last evening! First of all, the restaurant is beautiful, clean and inviting. The food is amazing! We all had different dishes --- absolutely delicious. I thought I was in Italy having my meal. Service over the top and Chef Rudy visited the table. Definitely a must go to restaurant!!! Dessert I could rub in my hair!!! A restaurant that we will definitely be visiting a few times each month. They do have tables to accommodate larger parties! Oh and the portions are huge!!!!!! Rating - 10 Stars! I am going to be trying EVERY dish!!!

Yelp
Best new restaurant in Spring Valley. My wife had the cioppino loaded with seafood and a good size lobster tail. I had spaghetti and meatballs just like mom used to make.. Highly recommend this restaurant

Yelp
This chef owned restaurant knocked it out of the park for flair, service and customer satisfaction. Hubby had an excellent chicken Marsala and my salad had the freshest mozzarella and a balsamic reduction to die for. We will be back.

Yelp
Had the cheese wheel special tonight it was a wonderful meal only served on Thursday and Sunday you should give it a try as usual the service and staff did a great job

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Start off with a warm welcome from all the staff! The bread sticks are so unique and so delicious! I had the Seabass, and it was light flaky and the flavors of the sauce added such an amazing touch to the dish! Of course I have to add my server Catherine is probably the best customer service you can find throughout Las Vegas. Lastly I met the owner and the chef, super friendly, and what a privilege to support these men!!

Yelp
Lets start with WOW ! This is some serious Italian Food. They just opened in my area and I'm glad I stopped in . Service on point ! I tried lasagna and it delivered !

Yelp
Amazing food and inviting ambiance. Service is over the top. Chef Rudy truly has captured the taste of Italy in his restaurant. It's the place you want to take all of your friends, family, and colleagues for great food and a relaxed yet sophisticated environment. Chef Rudy is highly accessible and always comes out to meet and greet the guests. You'll notice most guests are repeat and loyal customers. This is the place to relax, enjoy an authentic meal, a glass of wine, and feel like part of the family.

Yelp
OMG!! The food was amazing!! Went for dinner one night and for lunch on the weekend. Everything we ordered was savory!!! I enjoyed the lobster ravioli. My date enjoyed the chicken adobo with pork belly. The desserts were absolutely delightful! If you're looking for a date night. I suggest stopping in either for lunch or dinner. You won't be disappointed! The service was exceptional!! 5 stars all the way around. Definitely taking all of my friends for some amazing food! Don't forget the wine!!! Had a few glasses myself.

Yelp
Interesting menu. Great wine selection. Staff was friendly. My only negative is that it is so bright inside. You see the entire service area which seems off for fine dining.

Yelp
The new place is amazing, as as the old place minus the 30+ minute drive. It has been a while, but tonight's meal is as good a meal as I have had in a very long time and I consider myself a foodie. Service was on point, and seeing Chef Rudy is always a pleasure! Did a great job on the makeover too! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Yelp
My family and I always look forward to coming here, they give us the best service we get anywhere and the food just makes you happy! I'm glad they came to the neighborhood

Yelp
Food is not Italian , has these names but in comparison it tastes more like off the shelves food. The rice balls have frozen peas. Tortellini could be Costco bought. Service took a long time to arrive. We went because there had been another restaurant in its place. The place is ok but only one bathroom in that restaurant is not enough. What it really is it's a Philippino food disguise as Italian. The so called owner and manager should have been more gracious. I did tell him. I told him Roma Deli on Sahara is very good food at half the price too. Will say this the place is nice but it was nice with the old restaurant. Too bad I will not go here again!. It really is a shame because it could be better. Again $30+ a plate it will not survive.

Yelp
it was ok but the food was not to my taste. I have had better tasting Italian foods in Lasvegas.

Yelp
My husband and I live in Los Angeles but were visiting my brother who lives in Vegas and he took us to this restaurant that he really likes, Il Chianti, knowing I LOVE italian food. I can't say enough, good things about this restaurant. From the waitress who was so friendly and attentive to the chef who came out to talk to us. To the delicious veal parmesan that I got (probably one of the best I've ever had!) and the wonderful dessert (and the bread!!). Everything was so fantastic! Love that is it a family run business. Now when I visit my brother, we'll be making sure to have dinner there every visit (maybe 2x a visit!) =)

Yelp
Had a chance to meet the chef/owner as we were seated in this very beautiful location. Food was exceptional and service equally excellent. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Another great experience from the Team at Il Chianti. We had a wonderful meal at the old one so we were ok with driving the 30 min to the new one in Summerlin. The staff is wonderful and food is good. So come check out the new bigger restaurant.

Yelp
Chef Rudy is the best! Fantastic food, so yummy! Always great service. My only complaint is they moved across town. But always worth the drive!

Yelp
Had to try this new restaurant in our nieghborhood (I know they had a location in Henderson, but they are new in my neighborhood). Chef visited visited every table right after being seated. Server was wonderful, food was great; had the Branzino special (with shrimp and risotto) and husband had the prime rib (with zitti and vodka sauce). Chef check in on us again when we received our entry. Desser was good as well. Can't wait to go back and try everything else!!!

Yelp
Ambiance nah. Food was just ok, maybe a B- Service, really nice folks. That was a positive. Just too pricey and the suboptimal atmosphere experience which was very hokey and coffee shop like won't bring me back.

Yelp
We had the bruschetta as an appetizer, the ingredients were fresh and it was delicious. All of our food was amazing. I had the Shrimp scampi which was flavored beautifully with lemon. The balsamic for dipping was homeade and really good, We met the owner/chef and he was an absolutely wonderful human being, so kind, it was refreshing. Wonderful service and food, we will defniately be back!

Yelp
This is the best Italian food in Las Vegas. The flavors are amazing. My wife will no longer eat chicken picatta anywhere else. The veal prosciutto can't be beat. Chef Rudy actually sat down with my wife and I and became family. Date night or just dinner. This place is a must.
