Simple and elegant restaurant at 2 steps away from the Lido beach of Fano. The outside facade of the hotel doesn’t represent properly the lovely restaurant inside the building. Very attentive service and incredibly fast. Everything starts with a great selection of amuse buche that includes small bites of different fish including amberjack, grey gurnard and mackerel, accompanied by a glass of bubbles. Then the bread comes, variety of homemade whole wheat flour delicacy and breadsticks. You gotta dip a bite into the Evoo. We tried the crudo, steam crustaceans, brodetto (it was the first day of brodetto feast) and turbot with artichoke. The last one was slightly disappointing as it came not even 100 gr of fish with a poor quarter of artichoke. A portion that would have been acceptable for a set menu not for a la carte. We finished with la “moretta fanese” and a generous “piccola pasticceria” by the chef.
Very good value for money and highly recommended if you are in the area.
