Il Gattopardo

Today’s experience was a solid 10/10. Deep, well-balanced flavors and a perfectly paced four-hour journey that allowed every dish to be fully appreciated.

Fantastic experience, amazing cuisine. Chef Salvatore has managed with a natural genius to bring the flavours and traditions of Sicily and Southern Italy to the Netherlands with a result that is never to be taken for granted. Nothing like the usual Italian restaurants abroad. This restaurant offers an experience beyond what one can taste even in Italy. The two of us sampled both land and sea menus (5 courses) with an accompaniment of niche wines. Lively, vibrant, sunny cuisine, we will certainly return and wish the chef many more well deserved success !

Small restaurant, 10 tables only but with decent distance between the tables. Very good and enjoyable food experience. Dishes are made of good quality fresh ingredients. Parma ham is excellent. Their own homemade bread is really good. Portions are on a small side. However, 5 course menu (together with their amuse breead+ butter&oil) was enough for us. They offer 2 types of menus: meat and fish. Both are good, although I would prefer the fish menu. We took half glass wine arrangement - very good quality wines. Service is attentive and professional. However, during the reservation we mentioned that we come for a special occasion, the restaurant didn't do anything about it. I give 4 stars because of that and because the location is noisy.

It's probably the only Italian fine dining you could possibly find in town. You will experience Sicilian cuisine as if you are in Sicily👌 The chef brings each course to explain his motherland and the most of main ingredients came from there✈️ Pairing with unique Italian wine is a plus✔️ What an amazing dining experience we had and you shouldn't miss out a chance to visit this restaurant (highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Absolutely delicious high-end restaurant. Special mention goes to the Sommelier: he is very experienced, and had us try 5 wines in food pairing and all of them were quite unusual and yet a perfect match. Thank you!

Stumbled in here after we found out Matroos en het Meisje was full and what a wonderful 'geluk bij een ongeluk' it was. The menu is simple: each course you can only pick out of 2 options and every option is done extremely well. It was a flavour explosion that I can still remember to this day. The service was excellent, they even managed to change courses on the spot because my partner couldn't eat mussels - and the alternative was flavourful and matched the fish course perfectly! It's about €50 per person for the meal. Later we went to Matroos en het Meisje and I will recommend Il Gattopardo 100% over Matroos. That's why we went to Il Gattopardo again afterwards We will be back!

Truly amazing experience. Really redefined the spectrum of what fine Italian dining can mean. Justin and Vincent were exemplary hosts. You're missing out if you don't try it ;)
