Mamma Mia! What a great surprise! We had an amazing experience at Il Mannarino Tenca. We ordered different meat cuts, and every single one was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. One of the highlights was the availability of gluten-free bread, which is often hard to find — and it was delicious! As someone with gluten and dairy allergies, I felt safe and well taken care of. Kudos to the staff for being so kind, attentive, and reassuring. They took our dietary restrictions seriously, double-checked ingredients, and made sure everything was adapted without fuss. This place is a must-visit in Milan if you’re looking for quality meats and a safe, welcoming experience for gluten-free and dairy-free eaters.

I must say that I am disappointed. I was looking forward to having tartar on pheasant, which is a typical dish in Italy. The serving was big, more like a main than a starter. But it was just meat, nothing else. No pecorino, ruccola, French fries, aïoli, just meat! For main, I ordered a skirt steak, medium RARE, but it came as medium or medium well. Ok, I get it, in Italy, you get what you order, nothing else. But for a steak, some chips, some aïoli, some mustard, some bearnaise would have been nice, just the meat is quite dull. The selection of beers is limited to Birra Moretti and an IPA. The house wine is a Primitivo, yes you can drink it, but is really very basic.

Amazing place with delicious steaks, great service and super polite crew 😊 I regret that we found this place so late during our stay at Milan. We took variety of steaks together with lambrusco. Steaks were done well, juicy and the meat was so delicate that it almost melted in the mouth. Highly recommended 🙂

Great place, a must try for meat lovers. All the meat dishes were lovely. The amount of complimentary drinks have positively surprised us a lot. The pasta dish wasn't great but still 5 stars for the overall experience.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. They recommended us the type of meat with much patience as we couldn’t decide. We also wanna say thanks to Martina for her warm reception and service. Kudos to all the service crew. Good food, good quality. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this place! The meat selection is huge, everything is fresh and delicious. The staff is very polite and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We were so impressed that we came back the very next day - and it was just as amazing! Highly recommended for all meat lovers.

I didn’t make any booking and walked in to the restaurant at 830pm. I was assigned a table outside and so i ordered a bit of everything including the house wine. House wine was great and the must ordered item is the pork sausage. The herbs and the pork are well mixed. It’s one of the best pork sausage I have ever tried. The only disappointment was the pork loin. I have ordered at 840 and waited until 915 and not yet delivered to the table. It looked like they have missed my order and I checked with the first waiter who wasn’t able to speak English and he didn’t ask for help and ignored my request. I need to wait for another waiter to come out of the restaurant to help. However, I can see the restaurant is still so full at 930pm and it could be the potential root cause of missing order. But definitely recommend you to book a table first because the restaurant is really full of people.

The culinary experience offered a delightful contrast; the meat was flavorful, and the baked potatoes were exceptionally well-prepared. The potatoes, specifically, were outstanding, representing the best I have ever tasted. The dish comprised new potatoes, seasoned with rosemary and grated Parmesan.
