Yelp
Very nice ambiance; tables well spaced. I would return occasionally but not often because of the price point.
Our bread was cold to the touch, as if served from the refrigerator; I thought that was odd.
It was a pleasure meeting the friendly owner of the restaurant, who watches over the tables to make sure everything is just so.
The wait staff was friendly and pleasant and provided adequate service but a bit inexperienced for a restaurant of this caliber.
Loved the arugula salad with Fuji apple, pecorino, caramelized almonds, I had the dressing only on the side. Loved the homemade gnocchi main course, which my husband and I split as our second course; pillowy soft, buttery taste; a bit rich but delicious.
My main course was bronzino fillets with roast potatoes and green beans. The roast potatoes and green beans were outrageously delicious; the bronzino was a disappointment. I received an exceptionally skimpy portion of fish and, as is common with skinny filets of fish, the ends were no longer fresh tasting while the fatter sides were fresh and tasty. I saw 2 plates of moist, large and plump bronzino being served to a different table later in the evening, so I was just unlucky this evening.
The bread pudding was tasty; I recommend it; a different recipe than I'm used to; drier than in other restaurants but very tasty. I recommend the Pinot Grigio by the glass.
