Il Postino

Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Tucuman! We've been back a number of times because the menu offers a wide variety of choices and every dish is a hit (with the only exception of the basil pizza, were the basil was actually burnt). Great location, friendly and quick service, generous portions and very, very reasonable prices. What's not to like? Highly recommended.

📅 Date of Visit: 30/4/2022 💬 OVERVIEW - 4.25 I've been here a few times since I've been in Tucuman and enjoy coming and eating the food. 🗺️ LOCATION - 5 Il Postino has a great location there along the busy Junin in downtown. 💲 PRICE - 4 The prices are reasonable, while I find some prices outside what I typically would like to pay. 🥟 PRODUCT/SERVICE - 5 I am a particular fan of the Calzones 🥟 that they serve here. 📢 POINTERS/PERKS - N/A There are probably some pointers, but what they are I am not sure what they would be. 👨 EMPLOYEES - 3 It really is the luck of the draw, some waiters are friendly and others clearly don't know or understand customer service.

Nice experience. Average food with the exception of "canelones de choclo" (corn based pasta), there are simply delicious. I recommend this local food style dish.

Great food, service and ambiance, but the bathrooms are not clean and have a very strong odor.

Great merienda! Food overall is very good. Service is prompt. Excellent coffees and wine ( I prefer Familia Gascon's merlot 2019) Classy environment. Casual vibe.

Traditional restobar with a very pleasant atmosphere and good service. Also the food is delicious.

For a small city, it's considered very good. But judging this place by its execution and flavor of food, it's just average. Salads are sad, very simple and lacking in creativity. The Americana salad is just a pile of shaved carrots, chopped celery, quartered tomatoes, half an avocado, and 1 lonely leaf of iceberg lettuce. But I guess in a country that's meat focused, vegetables are an after thought. The pastas are also very simple. They also charged us 25 pesos per person for service fee. Probably because they knew we were not locals.
