"With what’s still one of the handsomest dining rooms in town, Milan-born chef-owner Andrea Frizzi’s date-night pick would be worth a visit even if the food weren’t good. The bonus is that it is. The kitchen hews closely to Italian tradition while taking a few modern liberties, yielding results like octopus carpaccio with corn and peaches in Dijon citronette or Swiss chard–celery root cannelloni with ricotta and smoked mozzarella. The bar, for its part, is well-stocked with not only an all-Italian wine selection but an array of aperitivi and digestivi to kick off and cap off the evening." - Eater Staff, Ruth Tobias

Google
On our way down Larimer street to another restaurant e decided to stop here instead. It was the best decision we made on food in a while! The gnocchi was incredible and made fresh with homemade pesto. The muscles had a delicious spice to them that is often absent from other establishments and not overpowering at all. Sitting at the bar we received the best service and excellent wine suggestions. I recommend reservations if you come anytime on the weekend.

Google
This place is just lovely! We were fortunate to sit upstairs and the view of the city at night was beautiful. The food was very tasty, we loved everything we got! Very nice portions and prices. The service was incredible and professional. We loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant date!

Google
They might have a small menu, But everything was absolutely exceptional. You can tell it’s a scratch kitchen, and the attention to detail when it comes to food is incredible. They have an outdoor seating area, open main floor, and a loft area. This spicy tequila drink is amazing. And I’m not a fan of donuts, but they put ricotta in their donuts which makes them super soft and has a nice crisp on the outside from being fried

Google
Heard really great things about this place from a good friend of mine so we made reservations ahead of time for dinner. Got there around 5:30 on a Thursday and practically had the place to ourselves. Although it did start to pick up quite a bit especially, by the time we left. Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor. We sat upstairs with a beautiful view of the city. The service was amazing and the food was exceptional. Ordered the Chicken Milanese and it was incredible. Located in the rino art district. I Highly recommend this place.

Google
Absolutely delicious! I came here for brunch and the food options as well as drinks were amazing. The buratta is extremely fresh, and the noodles taste like they are made on site. The sauces were also yummy. Our service was ok, took a long time to check on us... But they mentioned they were short staffed and that's why we couldn't sit on the top floor. Definitely stop in if you're looking for delicious Italian or brunch fare!

Google
Had such lovely experience. Been dying to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Coming on a Wednesday was such a great decision (half off bottle Wednesday!) and our waiter Corey was attentive, helpful, and any other positive word you can strum up. Food and wine was so good! Can’t wait to come back and try more.

Google
An ideal date night or celebration spot, Il Posto did not disappoint! I made a birthday dinner reservation and their staff was friendly, accommodating, and gave us a second-level table with a wonderful view of the Denver skyline. We ordered house wine, craft beer, burrata, and the little rice balls in addition to our entrees. The service was fantastic and not overbearing. At end, they brought out a dessert complete with candle! I’d gladly go back, their prices are moderate and it’s a great treat yourself place.

Google
My wife and I had dinner here to celebrate both of our birthdays. I think I hyped up the meal too much in my head beforehand and was left thinking it was just OK. The cocktails were great! The suppli were good, we ordered the burrata but didn’t receive it, they were definitely busier than they had been during covid! The pappardelle was definitely our preferred entree! And the desserts were great!

Yelp
I loved il posto during my visit last year but found it was a little more trendy than authentic! The food was extremely tasty and a fun special occasion meal. I loved the risotto! Our server was super friendly and everything came out quickly. I would visit again and try some of their other offerings!

Michael R.

Yelp
This is a fun, cute place with great Italian inspired food and drinks! Live outside DJ on Friday nights makes for great ambiance! Service was lacking terribly but the food was great!

Steven S H C.

Yelp
90/100 for 2022 For the view of downtown from 2nd floor, nice... very nice. Sipping your favorite drink looking at the view, priceless. I will rate the ambience and unique menu items definite 5 star. Service was good. From other Yelpers, best time to visit is before the dinner rush and ask for 2nd floor. On my next visit, I would love get the stuffed calamari and different drink concoction.

Lauren L.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this restaurant more than I did, but unfortunately there were more misses than hits. I really enjoyed the burrata! The arancini was just okay, and my dining companions said the pappardelle was bland. I had the vegan cacio e Pepe, and to be completely honest, it was terrible. I ate about half, mainly to get my money's worth. It had an odd taste that lingered and left me wanting for a palette cleanser, and regretting my choices. The gnocchi was the most popular dish at our table, though I did not try it so can't speak to its quality. Servers were accommodating and friendly! Ambiance was nice. I enjoyed the wine and focaccia.

Marissa P.

Yelp
I think about the oxtail gnocchi OFTEN! It was so good, I could cry just thinking about it. I'm planning another trip back to Denver and I was heartbroken when I saw that it's no longer on the menu :( From what I read, they change the menu often, which is great for locals to be able to try different dishes, but for a visitor like me who wanted to go back specifically for that dish, I'm so sad lol Fingers crossed it will be back on the menu when I'm in town, but even if it isn't, I'd still go back and try something else. Il Posto seems to be a local favorite. We came on a Saturday night and there were very few empty tables. It was such a cute restaurant space. I loved how they had downstairs and upstairs seating. We sat upstairs in a corner table and enjoyed people watching inside & outside. Service was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Very knowledgeable of the menu and answered all of my questions. She offered some great recommendations as well. Overall, I was very pleased with our experience. Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant out!

natalie r.

Yelp
Sat at the bar, late night & the bartenders were very friendly! We had bread & olive oil to start, per our request..& our bartender didn't charge us. the kitchen was also a bit backed up, so they gave us free arancini to start! so long story short, the service & hospitality is A1! the chicken caesar salad was delishhh & the focaccia was bomb! i also had the ravioli, the filling was delicious but the actual pasta was not well prepared - too hard/tough. i had a side of salmon & it was not seasoned at all. overall, id prob usually round to a 3..but the service was outstanding & id be back to try smthg else!

Dominic D.

Yelp
Came here on recommendation from a friend who loves to eat good food. We had a big crew so we sat at the bar. Bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable of all things on all menus I had the salad to start and rib eye. Both delicious !

Magz B.

Yelp
Good food & nice views. We were sat upstairs which felt far away from the action, but it ended up being nice and intimate.

Kristin C.

Yelp
Stopped here to grab some food for my kiddos. My son has a dairy allergy and they were super accommodating. Their pasta was delicious. My hubby ordered the French toast for brunch and it was soooo delicious!!!!!! Their patio is awesome too!!

Kelly D.

Yelp
The bartender was a highlight of our whole trip. Love the atmosphere. The broccoli side was our favorite and we ordered a second order ($30 of broccoli!! The things we do to get veggies in during travel). I thought my pasta was either undercooked or too thick. The sauce was good but not amazing. Unfortunately, and I am sad to say, the chocolate moose seemed very thick. Service was the best we experienced in the four days of our trip.

Apple S.

Yelp
It was my second dinner here and everything was great. Service and food. We had the house salad, stuffed calamari, gnocchi and mushroom risotto. Everything was excellent.

Cesar H.

Yelp
We went for brunch once...the food was alright and the drinks were good. I would recommend going for dinner over lunch as the vibe during the day is more like a club with the lights on that let's you see the booths and how old they are. It is hard to get Italian right and this place misses the mark. However, their burrata is delicious but hard to mess up, so...

Mackenzie H.

Yelp
We LOVE Il Posto! The service is excellent and the food is top notch! Perfect for a date night, we love the cozy intimate ambiance inside the restaurant, as well as their cozy modern patio. Their espresso martini is by far the best one I've had in Denver, and their pea risotto is what dreams are made of.

Ritu R.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Sunday with my husband, and we fell in love with the space as we walked into the door... It's stunning, but not over-the-top intimidating ambiance but beautiful! We sat in a booth facing Larimer Street and started with a Mocktail and a cocktail (apple of my pie) with the homemade blueberry, buttermilk biscuits. Holy yummy beginnings my husband had the bacon Benedict and I had the 3 egg omelette. He loves a side sweet breakfast item so he got the French toast as a side. with breakfast potatoes as well. The omelette was a French preparation, very simple, but perfectly made... The expert technique is evident in sight and taste. My husband generally tends to find biscuits to have too much bread but none of the items using biscuits here were made from scratch, was the perfect amount of bread , flavor with a perfectly crisp exterior. My husband cleared his plate! The breakfast potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly seasoned and an ideal accompaniment to any of your brunch entrées. Service is warm, friendly and attentive. Location is fantastic with a bunch of places nearby and easy parking. We used the self parking lot 50 feet from the restaurant ($5 for 2 hrs).

Katie N.

Yelp
Came here for Christmas Eve eve dinner. I ordered the Pappardelle. The sauce was tasty, but the noodles were not as al dense as I'd like. My friends ordered the lasagna and said that it was amazing! The gelato and apple crisp were split by the table and also were very tasty.

Marilyn V.

Yelp
This was unfortunately a letdown for the weirdest reasons. The food itself was okay, nothing amazing but also not bad at all. It was the service that didn't meet my expectations. Our waiter was really nice, but he kept spilling our water whenever he would pour and refill. And I asked for a lemonade when we placed our order from the beginning. We asked multiple times throughout our time there, and it he just said it was coming. Towards the end, he said he wasn't going to charge it. So we were still waiting, asked again, and he said he wasn't going to bring it since he wasn't charging it. I was a bit confused but didn't care anymore. And as we were about to leave, they brought my lemonade. Like come on dude, it was a lemonade!

Darya S.

Yelp
This was heavily disappointing, probably the biggest disappointment of our time in Colorado. I got the white anchovy Caesar salad, and it was so lame. It was just lettuce and shredded cheese. I was still so hungry afterwards. I also got the basil lemonade and that was decent. For the price, everything should be bigger and better. My husband's and my friend's pasta dishes were so small, too, that it felt like a joke. We seriously left still so hungry and walked back into the market to get more food. Only redeeming factor was my husband's drink arrived with a hair in it, and they were quick to make him a new one.

Tiffany E.

Yelp
Ok food, great wait staff... homemade pasta but not a lot of flavor. Seasonal menu. Fun drinks

Jim R.

Yelp
Anniversary dinner on a Tuesday. Private booth was perfect for a unique experience. The Marry Berry cocktail was amazing and the all Italian wine selection sets Il Posto apart from other restaurants in the area. The service was wonderful. Staff was always around but never in our faces. Oh and try the Pappardelle! We found a new favorite restaurant for Italian themed food.

Connor H.

Yelp
Having walked by Il Posto's modern, usually busy two-story building many times, I had high expectations. After trying the food, however, I was unimpressed. The Burrata was bland and didn't pair well with the artichoke hearts and stiff chips. The gnocchi wasn't prepared correctly, and the Crème Brûlée was disgusting. Its caramel tasted like burnt chemicals. I do not recommend a visit to Il Posto.

Scott E.

Yelp
This is our favorite Italian restaurant period. The service was amazing and the food was even better. The rusted beet salad was the best salad I've ever had. And I grew up in New Orleans and have had many meals at commanders palace. The pesto gnocchi was amazing, so was the Supli. And of course the Bolognese was just on point. A well-deserved five stars to say the least

David L.

Yelp
Not sure why there are so many harsh reviews, but I have to disagree. This place was and is fantastic! The food, ambience and service were all outstanding. It wasn't very busy when my party went to eat there, but even if it was, I have no doubt we'd still get the same level of service and delicious food and drink. We had several of their pork offering for the charcuterie board along with some duck and cheeses paired with a Chianti that enhanced everything. For our main meals we had shrimp scampi, flank steak and the pork ragu. All were incredibly tasty and just the right portion size--not too much and not too little. Our waiter was very respectful of our conversations and was not intrusive whatsoever but was also very attentive when he needed to be. I'd go back to this place in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone interested in some tasty Italian food. The only gripe and this has NOTHING to do with the restaurant--is the parking. It sucks unless you take an Uber or Lyft. Nonetheless, check Il Posto out and I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Lisa N.

Yelp
I've been eager to come into Il Posto after last year's Yelp Elite virtual event. Their chef has forever changed the way I cook and prep pesto at home; I am infinitely better at my pasta dishes at home, so I have eagerly been awaiting the change to eat from the real chef himself. We came in on a whim date-night actually; so even without a reservation on a Friday, we waited maybe 20 minutes for a table? Not bad for a classy establishment! Service was wonderful! We had the burrata with prosciutto and the pappardelle (thanks Matt C. for the rec!). Both were *chefs kisses* delicious! Especially that pappardelle. Atmosphere is cozy but classy; love the hanging lights from the ceiling. I'd recommend for your next date night or special occasion!

Angie R.

Yelp
3rd time and the last....not trying to shame but the reviews keep me thinking I missed something. We are entrepreneurs so feedback is critical. We had a mid size party and ordered most items on the limited menu. everything on the menu. We are big spending customers so we expect excellent service. Wait staff offered nothing for drinks or apps. We had the lasagna, salmon, ravioli, risotto - share plates and it was as no distinct flavor. Can't believe we can't get a table off Colorado Blvd. We spent $300 per person and walked out hungry and went to Jimmy's Jersey cafe in 9th & Jersey!!!! Better menu, price and service!!! #jmmyjerseystreet.

Paige G.

Yelp
Great meal and a great time! Service was attentive but not overbearing, very easy to chat with, and quick to offer recommendations. I had the leek soup, arancini, and lasagna--all of which were delightful. We sat in their upstairs area which was beautifully decorated and perfect for our large group. Would definitely return, especially for their Wine Wednesday deal!

Jessica L.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this more. Went for Restaurant Week. Maybe this was an off night. The service was good but the food was not. Dishes were bland and some of the pasta was undercooked. We were asked for feedback after our server noticed we were not eating. The manager came out and was very interested in our feedback. Like I said the service was great. The crème brûlée was the best part of our meal. Just not our cup of tea. We will not be back.

Kelsey C.

Yelp
A fun little find while exploring the Rhino Art District. We were shocked to find the place almost completely empty and decided to sit out on the patio. The food was delicious and serve was great!

Bea B.

Yelp
We were there for Denver restaurant week and I had such high hopes. Unfortunately not only was the service extremely disappointing and slow... (No, they were not busy AT ALL when we were there) but the food was not anywhere near the quality I would expect from them. Truthfully the only good thing that we had was the short rib but it was such a small portion my date and I each got one bite. We also ordered the Paperdelle Bolognese and I'm telling you, the pasta was so thick and undercooked it was completely inedible. The meatball was super dry, we didn't even eat it... all around just a surprising disappointment. I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews but I hope this feedback is valuable to the business and they will work on improving quality. They definitely did not live up to the reputation they have in the Foodie community... it was a bummer.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Best bread and olive oil anywhere, great service, thoughtful food. The salmon comes out on the side of the salad and is a huge portion, mine was over cooked and greasy. I'd stick to pasta if I went back. Husbands lasagna was good

Laura M.

Yelp
I stopped in here the other night for dinner. It had been a few years since the last time I was here. The food was delicious! The wine list is always great here as well. I had a glass of dolcetto d'alba, and the mafalde with lamb ragu, mint, fava bean, Parmigiano Reggiano. It was very flavorful - and filling. The bread and olive oil were also very tasty that we had while waiting for our meals. The service was pretty quick - and we were happy to get a table on a Friday evening without a reservation. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Linds A.

Yelp
Fire playlist that pairs well with the pappardelle, but Skylar, she's the real chefs kiss.

Mary D.

Yelp
Wow wow wow. Cannot say enough about this place. The service was great, the location in the heart of the RiNo district, and the food was impeccable. Started with the candelo which is beef tallow; yes it's melting beef fat that you dip your bread in. Go for it. Try it. Maybe add a little salt. Then ordered the salad with mixed seasonal vegetables and vegan pesto. Soo delicious. The burrata we added prosciutto to. That too was lovely. Perfect amount of salt and olive oil. Lastly ordered the Milanese sandwich. It was heavenly with the perfect amount of heat behind it. The fig cocktail was delightful, and so was the non alcoholic amber beer by well-being. If you're in the area this place does not disappoint

Kirthi H.

Yelp
What a fantastic find! I came around 6:15pm on a Sunday and it didn't seem terribly busy. I was checked in for my reservation, seated quickly, and handed a menu. My waiter appeared shortly after and recommended "Mary's Berry" because I love sweet drinks! I saw maybe one or two more tables seated after me and kept looking around because I think it was about 10-15m before I received my drink...but it felt like forever. The drink was good and very pretty! I also ordered the risotto funghi because I am a mushroom fanatic! It was delicious but needed some spice so I asked for chili oil and chili flakes. The chili oil was the perfect addition! I also liked the option of paying with a QR code so I didn't have to wait for my waiter. Overall 4/5 stars because while I enjoyed my meal and my time...the service took awhile.

Melissa C.

Yelp
I dont typically leave review but the experience we had compelled me to. My husband and I went last night for our anniversary and everyone treated us so well it made up for the pappardelle just being "okay." My husband's Manzo though was very delicious and cooked well. The server was very attentive and great to speak to! They also had a wine owner at advertising her wines and letting any customer try them. She gave us backs story which just added to the beautiful night we had!

Jana V.

Yelp
Zero understand why this incredible restaurant has 3.5 stars. The food was excellent ( and they have a vegan dish that was delicious), and the service literally flawless. Seriously cool but comfortable atmosphere. Beverage list the stuff of fantasy! Will definitely be back. Thank you Il Posto for a perfect night out!"

Shizar H.

Yelp
Always a great time when visiting posto. Good is amazing, great selection of wine, music is always on point.

Matt N.

Yelp
Good food, great service, cool location. Everything we got was good, totally solid choice. The only knock against this place is that there's a lot of good Italian options nearby and this one isn't my #1.

Lily S.

Yelp
Literally our first time dining out since COVID. Picked this place because of its outside seating. Well, the seats are so close to the pedestrian walkway you might as well put on your mask when you're not eating/drinking. We were presented with a brunch menu so it must have been a Sunday. A French Toast was ordered but I didn't get to taste it, it looked slightly burnt though, maybe on purpose. My friend who ordered it has a sweet tooth and said it was good, so maybe it was a caramelized version of something. They also ordered the calamari appetizer. It is not a battered version so if that's something you dig, try their calamari! Hubby had the Pappardelle, it was very flavorful, I stole a taste. But he complained about the small portion. I guess this is fine dining Italian? My Shakshuka also came out a mini version, compared to what I had in mind (yep, this was my virgin Shakshuka experience. Was expecting a paella pan sized serving... lol!) I also didn't care for the deep fried, thick chip that came with it, would've preferred Italian bread. (I get it, this is a traditional African style dish, but if an Italian restaurant is doing it...) The chip was so thick I wouldn't be surprised if customers have broken teeth eating it. Since it's clearly fusion they're after, I'd suggest thinking about siding it with (native) Indian style fry bread! Otherwise the eggs were perfectly undercooked and tasted very very fresh. Mixed well with the rest of the sauce.

Maribel G.

Yelp
What a wonderful dining experience. The space is beautiful and their staff is amazing. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The food is on a different level. Let me start with the gorgeous virgin cocktail I tried. Virgin cocktails are hard to pull off but here they they do an excellent job. Very thoughtfully made. I enjoyed the refreshing citrus against the pineapple's sweetness and herby thyme flavor. The serrano is subtle but gives it an interesting twist. The pasta and clams were to die for! Great flavors. You know you're in trouble when you keep requesting bread to soak up the garlicky wine sauce from the clams. Our server kept bringing out bread baskets and was very funny about it. Great Italian restaurant with wonderful atmosphere, service, and food.

Joanne S.

Yelp
Sorry - not one for writing bad reviews but for the money I paid the food was very underwhelming. The burrata with prosciutto was not good, the burrata didn't spill over when we cut it.... It was dry. The crackers they served it with was the best tasting item on that dish. The calamari was tough, chewy and not good. The salad was super basic with minimal dressing. I realized I mistook this place for another Italian restaurant and I would never come back.

Leticia H.

Yelp
Incredible food, cozy atmosphere, great drinks, and a solid selection of wines. The waitress was a bit rude initially but she warmed up a tad by the end of the night.

Matt C.

Yelp
Il Posto on Larimer is fine Italian dining executed wonderfully. An elegant restaurant with two dining rooms, one as you enter and one on the second floor. Sit here if possible, because it adds an elevated level of ambiance unlike any other Italian restaurant I've been to in Denver. Service was great and the pacing of the meal was stellar. I'm not sure if it was the multiple cocktails speaking, but I genuinely appreciated the break in courses prior to our main dishes. After all, the bread they bring to the table will not go uneaten. A lapse in eating is absolutely necessary! Burrata - house made burrata, balsamic, basil, lavash cracker. I was skeptical of the accompanying cracker, but of course it paired exquisitely with the creamy, melty burrata. Candela - herbed beef tallow, ciabatta. Ok. I'm Italian, yet I've never been exposed to "Candela" before. Holy s**t. Honestly, this was my favorite bite of the night. A flaming candle hits the table, slowly burning over the incredibly flavorful herbed beef tallow. I have nothing to compare it to. It's one of the best things I've dipped Italian bread in. Pappardelle - berkshire pork bolognese, oyster mushroooms, grana padano. Denver knows their way around Pappardelle. Il Posto's rendition should be added to the mix. My small critique would be for more of the bolognese to be incorporated into the pasta. Otherwise, delicious and composed dish. Although I've heard mixed feedback on Il Posto, I not only give it my stamp of approval, but I also plan on returning with my lady quickly. Albeit a pretty price tag for the meal, the experience warrants it.

Christina S.

Yelp
Happy Hour @il_posto_rino means cocktails, rice balls, and of course wine! I am a sucker for Suppli and Arancini and therefore must always try it when I see it on the menu! Today's variation was with tomato and basil and was quite lovely! Sadly we were heading to an event so just had a quick bite and drinks but the couple next to us ordered starter salads and our whole table was enticed by the tantalizing aroma. I never knew a salad could smell that good! I loved the still Rosé we ordered and regret not taking a moment to make a note what it was. We also did limoncello shots, and I thought it was cool that they offered some unique flavors beyond the standard lemon. 3 of us had to try the grapefruit/rosemary. I will admit Limoncello isn't really my thing but this wasn't bad. Will definitely need to head back to try everything else!

Jelena L.

Yelp
We were greeted and seated immediately. Due to Covid, I'd recommend making a reservation or you may end up waiting a long time. The service was amazing, but the food was just ok for how itty bitty tiny the portions were. The prices looked great at first, but we were shocked to see that you get two bites served. I'm giving them two stars for their amazing Burrata and the great service from our waitress. We ended up ordering a 3rd dish because we were not full. The noodle dish had 10 noodles in it and a couple small bites of meat, I thought it was a joke. Flavors were alright. The mushroom risotto had no flavor and wasn't seasoned enough. Saffron risotto was a little better, but not worth the money. Definitely won't be coming back. The waitress was super sweet for bringing us complimentary champagne.

Yasaman E.

Yelp
Came for lunch here on Saturday and ordered gazpacho (top 3 I have ever had in my life), some sangria and the burrata and salads. We sat outside and the service was excellent and the ingredients fresh. The gazpacho and burrata on their own were worth a re-visit.

Jason N.

Yelp
The service was good and the Burrata was awesome but that's about it. Asked for a bottle of wine in the $70 price range and they gave us one that was $85 which is annoying but it was very good. The gnocchi was ok. It didn't have any sauce which I thought was weird and made it not great. Overall though, it was meh. I probably wouldn't recommend it or go back for the price.

Danielle J.

Yelp
This place was a huge favorite of several friends. The setting is awesome with amazing views in the upstairs dining area. It's a super congested area of Rino with all the crazed scooter riders and packed, limited parking - Ubering in highly recommended. Drinks - overwhelming amount of options. They take up more space on the menu than the food options do. Great wines and mixed cocktails available. Food - overall was good with a lovely presentation. A strange yet delicious standout is the app Candela. It's basically a "fat candle" that is edible that melts down into a wonderful bread dipping sauce. Highly recommend you let it burn down a bit to really mix. The burrata was delicious (Also available on their happy hour menu). It was explained to us that "Assaggini" was larger apps, but seemed this was backwards. I'm a huge fan of steak tartare and was sadly massively let down on this option. All the other portions for dishes were appropriate but this was almost comically tiny. It was 4 small bites, so I barely could say I "tasted" it, and it came with a giant amount of crisps to take up the plate presentation and was a complete waste. In comparing to the other apps we ordered that were on the menu as "grande" this was not a shareable item or even worth it for one person in portion or price. On the more standard entrees, the Pappardelle and Risotto di Pesca (with Palisade peaches!) were favorites for the group. Outside of the miss on the tartare, everything else was very nice & service was top-notch. Very accommodating to split up the payments for the group.

Yelp
The Skinny: Great atmosphere, amazing staff, solid food. The food: I was a slightly hesitant given the rating, but the more recent reviews all had great things to say - and I had always wanted to try this spot. I brought my friend for her birthday and the experience was so incredible - it made her special day truly special! I made reservations on Open Table and specified upstairs seating by the window and mentioned that it was her bday. Once we got there, they brought over complimentary champagne for us (what a great touch!). For apps we ordered Zuppa and Foligame. The foligame was absolutely delicious - roasted veggies full of flavor on top of hummus & pesto. We ordered bread to go with our apps just to soak in the rest of the flavors fo the foligame. The bread was a surprise favorite as well - super fresh and tasty. The Zuppa was pretty standard so not sure I would order that particular one again - but still had great flavors (very creamy). For entrees we ordered the Gnocchi and Risotto Piselli (but vegetarian), the Gnocchi was hands down our favorite. Great sauce and pasta. The Risotto was just okay, flavor was slightly lacking, but potentially because we got it without the proscuitto crumble. Tiramisu to finish the meal which was wonderful and came with a candle for my friend's bday. Overall the meal was quite delicious and dish presentation was very well done. A+ for the staff as well - everyone was so friendly and really appreciated them going out of the way to help make the bday special. Cost/portions: $$+ Portions are slightly on the smaller side and prices can get a little costly depending on how much you order. But overall it was worth it for a nice night out with great atmosphere. Atmosphere: Great spot right in RiNo. Indoor seating with large booths for privacy or more open tables in an upstairs area. Windows throughout with a great view of downtown (I'd recommend trying to get a spot upstairs by the window) and really cool light fixture right in the middle to give the overall location a special ambiance. It was raining the day we went but looks to have a great outdoor space as well. COVID: Great job social distancing, masking up, and sanitizing. Felt very comfortable there throughout our whole meal. Would I come back: Yes! A solid place for good Italian food with a great atmosphere & wonderful staff.

Yelp
I wanted a special place to have my partners birthday party. Since he loves pasta, I thought this would be a wonderful choice for 8 people. The staff was wonderful about squeezing our party into the reservation block a week before the date and super nice when we arrived. They provided bread and oil for the table and we ordered the burrata. It had great flavor and consistency. The wine list was almost overwhelming with the options but we found a great bottle or two to go with dinner. Everyone was super excited for the entrees and probably could have rated at least two portions. The food was delish, just a bit small for the price tag. I had the muscles and it was a good amount. A number of people had the papadelleo and loved it. We also had Tesoro and the beef. Everything was great, just a bit small. As far as fine dining go, this is a good choice for date night..

Yelp
Very bland experience all around. The salmon was dry and lacked flavor as well as the brussel sprouts. Cocktails are bizarre mixes of flavors like carrot and red pepper (blegh). Also had a DJ there to distract you from eating the mediocre food. It wasn't stunning
