We had an incredible experience at Il Salotto. The manager Corrado could not have been more professional and his knowledge of matching food and wine was a nice touch. The view from the restaurant is great. Big kudos to the chef also. We will return.

This is a real pearl!!! Really very respectable italian cuisine! absolutely worthy of a michelin recommendation, the michelin guide recommends them and they really deserve it! the cuisine is top notch! the service is impeccable! We want want to come back again and again! :) thank you so much! Nowadays it is difficult to find such a high level of cuisine and such irreproachable service at reasonable prices! 🫶 Absolutely recommend it!

what we managed to try is more than just food! these are masterpieces from the chef! thanks to the chef and the administrator for their work, incredibly delicious seafood! it's a pity that it was empty that day, but I hope this place is popular in season! it's luxurious!

Best of the Best in Rapallo! I had the pleasure of dining twice at this outstanding new restaurant, and both experiences completely blew me away! The freshness and quality of the fish are unparalleled. One standout dish is the raw calamari noodles—a truly unique creation. These aren’t traditional noodles but rather calamari delicately sliced into fine, noodle-like strands and marinated to perfection. The result? They become exquisitely tender, practically melting in your mouth. Absolutely heavenly! What makes this place even more remarkable is the warm, attentive service. The restaurant manager, head waiter, and chefs are all incredibly charming and consistently go above and beyond to create a memorable experience. Tonight, they completely surprised me with a beautiful, handmade birthday cake—without me even mentioning it. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made the evening unforgettable. Thank you for such a magical experience. I can’t wait to return!

We have visited the restaurant twice. Both me and my girlfriend have loved the experience each time. Unique dishes and amazing drinks. What’s more, the staff managed by Corrado is very kind and welcoming. Overall place worth visiting.

At a bustling corner of the equally bustling port/resort town of Rapallo you will find this perfect place to people watch while enjoying cocktails, good food and pleasant, attentive service. We first stopped one afternoon for drinks outside and were impressed by generous pours and complementary trays of delicious freshly made appetizers. Prices are a bit higher than some nearby locales, but are justified by the offerings. Based on that experience we returned for a light lunch the next day and enjoyed a meal of appetizers, fried calamari, the spagotto al trionfo di pomodori, fresh bread and wine, all delicious. For the lunch we ate inside so we could enjoy the air conditioning, but it was almost like being outside since the wall are all glass. Definitely will return on our next visit to one of our favorite towns.

I was in Il Salotto 2 days ago with my husband. We came from Turkey. Firstly, all workers are very smiley and respectful. Atmosphere was cool and romantic. We’ve tried different tastes. When we wait menu, Corrado, the head waiter-came to our table for welcoming and asked what we wanted, he suggested special fish and good quality white wine. thanks to his correct suggestions, we’ve spent enjoyful and amazing time. We ate octopus, pasta with shrimp and special fish(i don’t know it’s name) All are perfect😋Also, we ate dessert -brownie and something with blueberry.They were also successful👏🏼II Salotto is a high quality restaurant compare to nearby places. As a tourist, normally we cannot know what is good or bad in restaurants/bars so we always give our food and drink decisions to waiters and chefs. Their suggestions are valuable👍🏼When we look at this delicious flavours, prices are very low we think because everything was really high quality from atmosphere, kitchen to worker’s approaches. Obviously, Corrado loves his job much, he is very professional. He’s giving importance to customer satisfaction. Really enjoyed this lovely restaurant. Staff were attentive and helpful, explaining the dishes and helping us to pair the wine. It reminded me of Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to because of the imaginative dishes and their quality. The steak was perfect, the prawn lasagne was innovative and I loved the milk ice cream which was like frozen cream (not vanilla) - a simple idea but it worked well. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.
